  • IMCSA: Providing Better Sequence Alignment Space for Industrial Control
           Protocol Reverse Engineering

      Abstract: Nowadays, with the wide application of industrial control facilities, industrial control protocol reverse engineering has significant security implications. The reverse method of industrial protocol based on sequence alignment is the current mainstream method because of its high accuracy. However, this method will incur a huge time overhead due to unnecessary alignments during the sequence alignment process. In this paper, we optimize the traditional sequence alignment method by combining the characteristics of industrial control protocols. We improve the frequent sequence mining algorithm, Apriori, to propose a more efficient Bag-of-Words generation algorithm for finding keywords. Then, we precluster the messages based on the generated Bag-of-Words to improve the similarity of the message within a cluster. Finally, we propose an industrial control protocol message preclustering model for sequence alignment, namely, IMCSA. We evaluate it over five industrial control protocols, and the results show that IMCSA can generate clusters with higher message similarity, which will greatly reduce the invalid alignments existing in the sequence alignment stage and ultimately improve the overall efficiency.

  • Empirical Compression Features of Mobile Computing and Data Applications
           Using Deep Neural Networks

      Abstract: Due to the enormous data sizes involved in mobile computing and multimedia data transfer, it is possible that more data traffic may be generated, necessitating the use of data compression. As a result, this paper investigates how mobile computing data are compressed under all transmission scenarios. The suggested approach integrates deep neural networks (DNN) at high weighting functionalities for compression modes. The proposed method employs appropriate data loading and precise compression ratios for successful data compression. The accuracy of multimedia data that must be conveyed to various users is higher even though compression ratios are higher. The same data are transferred at significantly higher compression ratios, which save time while also minimizing data mistakes that may occur at the receiver. The DNN process also includes a visible parameter for handling high data-weight situations. The visible parameter optimizes the data results, allowing simulation tools to readily observe the compressed data. A comparison case study was created for five different scenarios in order to confirm the results, and it shows that the suggested strategy is significantly more effective than existing methods in roughly 63 percent of the cases.

  • A Provable Secure Cross-Verification Scheme for IoT Using Public Cloud

      Abstract: Public cloud computing has become increasingly popular due to the rapid advancements in communication and networking technology. As a result, it is widely used by businesses, corporations, and other organizations to boost the productivity. However, the result generated by millions of network-enabled IoT devices and kept on the public cloud server, as well as the latency in response and safe transmission, are important issues that IoT faces when using the public cloud computing. These concerns and obstacles can only be overcome by designing a robust mutual authentication and secure cross-verification mechanism. Therefore, we have attempted to design a cryptographic protocol based on a simple hash function, xor operations, and the exchange of random numbers. The security of the proposed protocol has formally been verified using the ROR model, ProVerif2.03, and informally using realistic discussion. In contrast, the performance metrics have been analyzed by looking into the security feature, communication, and computation costs. To sum it up, we have compared our proposed security mechanism with the state-of-the-art protocols, and we recommend it to be effectively implemented in the public cloud computing environment.

  • The Application of Scientific Games by Artificial Intelligence in
           Preschool Education under the Smart City

      Abstract: The purpose is to explore the application and effect of scientific games based on artificial intelligence (AI) in preschool education under the smart city. An interactive scientific games model for children by virtual reality (VR) is constructed using the augmented reality (AR) technology in AI. This enables the product to continuously enrich its interactive functions in addition to realizing its own functional requirements, pay attention to user experience, and allow users to feel the pleasure and comfortable emotional communication brought by the product in the process of using it. The model mainly completes the interaction through gesture interaction and voice interaction, and it is further empirically analyzed by means of questionnaires and interviews. The results manifested that after the use of the intelligent interaction model of scientific games, 93.33% of the students in the experimental group were interested in scientific games, and 83.33% of the students in the experimental group had a clear understanding of scientific knowledge.   • Multisignal Cooperative Processing Method for Internet of Vehicles Based
           on Data-Driven Edge Computing Method

      Abstract: With the rapid development of Internet of Vehicles applications, more and more data are generated. How to effectively distribute content in the Internet of Vehicles to meet the service quality requirements of users has become one of the industry pain points in the field of smart cars and autonomous driving. In order to solve the shortage of local computing resources of vehicles, a vehicle edge network is proposed, which uses data-driven edge computing to offload vehicle tasks to a mobile edge computing server to reduce overall network energy consumption and meet task latency requirements. In addition, in order to reduce the end-to-end delay, caching technology is adopted at the network edge, which can reduce the content transmission delay. This paper focuses on the problem of computing offloading in the data-driven edge computing method in the context of the Internet of Vehicles. Simulation experiments have proved its superiority compared with the traditional offloading method, and the delay and energy consumption are better than the traditional method. First, the basic concepts of the Internet of Vehicles and MEC are introduced; second, the TOAI algorithm flow chart and the computing tasks of the offloading work of the Internet of Vehicles are introduced; then, based on MEC and partial offloading, the task offloading problem is modeled and solved; the problem of unloading collaborative content under networking is solved, and the simulation results are analyzed and verified. The simulation experiment not only shows that the proposed algorithm optimizes the efficiency of the task under the average unit but also shows the effectiveness of this method, which lays a foundation for the engineering implementation of the algorithm. The experimental results show that the average task completion rate is increased by 0.58%, and the average unit task energy consumption is increased by 0.32%, which improves the practicability of the system.

      Abstract: Currently, a significant portion of sustained economic growth still depends on a high input of resources. We must fully understand the significance, difficulty, and long-term nature of resource conservation and environmental protection. We must also intensify our efforts to protect the ecological environment. We must gradually form a production mode, lifestyle, and consumption mode conducive to environmental protection. We must also establish a benign interactive relationship with the environment. This study offers a big data analysis and neural network integration optimization design strategy for a new kind of environmental and economic coordination prediction model. The data of the new type of environmental and economic impact with numerous parameters are preprocessed using big data analysis and principal component analysis. A neural network integration system is used to create the prediction model, and prediction research and error analysis are conducted to enhance the new kind of environmental and economic model. The simulation test analysis is completed lastly. According to the simulation findings, the proposed arithmetic has an accuracy that is 8.56% higher than that of the conventional arithmetic. A sustainable improvement management system with environmental objectives, environmental management planning plans, and environmental monitoring systems can be established with help from the new environmental and economic coordination prediction model, which can also assist in predicting the potential environmental impact caused by economic development activities. This will ensure sustainable development as a result of the mechanism.

      Abstract: With the rapid development of networks, intrusion detection has received increasing attention. In order to solve the problems of large dimensionality of intrusion detection data, unbalanced data samples, and large dispersion of datasets, which seriously affect the classification performance, this study proposes an anomaly detection based on Boruta and extreme tree (Boruta-ET) model. First, the network traffic data are preprocessed, which includes data cleaning, numerical and normalization processes, as well as equalization of the attack categories for a small number of samples by random oversampling at the data level; second, the traffic features are dimensionality reduced using the Boruta-based algorithm. The goal of Boruta dimensionality reduction is to extract all the features related to the dependent variable with a global dimension and find the optimal subset of features containing the most information; finally, the optimal feature subset is used as the input parameters of the extreme tree (ET) algorithm model for training and testing. Experiments were conducted on the real network traffic dataset CICIDS2017, and by evaluating the classification performance of several different machine learning algorithms, the experimental results show that the Boruta-ET model has the best performance with an accuracy rate of 99.80%, which can effectively improve the detection rate and achieve an effective recall rate for attack types with a small number of samples.

  • A Decision Tree-Based Online Traffic Classification Method for QoS Routing
           in Data Center Networks

      Abstract: In data center networks, how to ensure the quality of service (QoS) of traffic effectively has become an important optimization goal. Traffic classification has been widely studied to guarantee network flow QoS since it provides a basis for the network performance level requirement of different flow types. However, traditional network traffic classification methods, which can only identify traffic type offline, have no ability for online classification and the in-time QoS guarantee. To solve this problem, we propose an online traffic classification for QoS routing (OCQR) framework based on programmable data plane in this paper. Firstly, in order to improve the accuracy of flow classification and reduce the impact on line-rate packet forwarding, the way of machine learning model offline training and online deployment is used to classify the network flow in real time. Based on the hardware foundation of programmable switch and the complexity of machine learning algorithm, a CART decision tree model is used to classify network flows. Secondly, in order to actually deploy and run the decision tree model in the programmable switch with limited computing and storage resources, we prune the decision tree model and optimize the leaf nodes to reduce the size of the decision tree and improve the classification recall rate. Finally, by building a P4 simulation environment, the recall rate of OCQR’s classified scheduling of some application flows reaches more than 98%, which is consistent with the evaluation results of the offline dataset. At the same time, compared with the classification method based on SDN, OCQR does not require additional bandwidth occupation, so it has less impact on network performance.

  • Generative Text Secret Sharing with Topic-Controlled Shadows

      Abstract: Secret image sharing has been extensively and thoroughly researched. However, in the social network environment, shadow images are subject to compression or noise pollution during uploading and transmitting, which makes it challenging to recover secrets losslessly. Texts are more suited for transmission in social networks as shadows because of the broad variety of application scenarios and inherent robustness. Through a secret sharing technique of threshold, a secret is encrypted as shadows, where any or more shadows can recover the secret, while less than cannot obtain any information on the secret. In this article, we propose a generative text secret sharing scheme with topic-controlled shadows, which encrypts a secret message as a number of semantically natural shadow texts and controls the topics of shadow texts using bag-of-words models during text generation by the language model. This study also proposes two goal programming models to improve the shadow texts’ topic relevance and fluency. The shadow texts of the proposed scheme satisfy loss tolerance, semantic comprehensibility, topic controllability, and robustness. An ablation study, comparative test, and anti-detection experiment verify the effectiveness of the proposed scheme.
