Authors:Çiğdem GÜRSOY; Çağla ÖZER Abstract: Since the end of the 20th century, the creative economy sectors, in which personal abilities came to the fore, started to take place besides the classical production sectors. These sectors have had a say in increasing the country's welfare thanks to the personal talents nurtured by geography-history-tradition-tradition and social values. The products of actors operating in the field of creative economy that emphasize localism are also very important in terms of equal distribution of wealth, in other words regional development. Moreover, the fields of creative economics have been closely related to the elements that need to be sustained, such as the environment, economy, culture and social dimension. One of the sectors that reflect the accumulation of socio-cultural life where personal talents are at the forefront is gastronomy. The fact that these accumulations can gain more value in economic life is related to the acceptance of gastronomy as a creative economy field. The aim of the study is to conceptualize the common points of gastronomy and economy under the title of gastroeconomics, to bring forward the discussion of gastronomy as a creative economy field. As a result, it has been determined that the combination of both disciplines contributes to sustainability by creating a power that increases the level of welfare, helps regional development, improves social conditions and the natural environment. Authors:Yunus TOPSAKAL; Abdurrahman DİNÇ Abstract: Tourism industry is like a laboratory where technology is applied and rapidly adopted. Therefore, the fourth industrial revolution continues to shape the tourism industry, which was accelerated by the first industrial revolution. However, excessive use of technology creates problems, such as stress, depression and insomnia. Therefore, nowadays, it has started to come to the fore to take a vacation away from technology, which is always with human beings. As a result of previous revolutions, people needed a vacation due to problems, such as cars and pollution, but in the current fourth industrial revolution, human beings felt the need to stay away from technology. People go on vacation to get away from their daily lives, to renew themselves by learning with new experiences and resting. At this point, a holiday away from technology comes up with the concept of digital detox. From this point of view, the aim of this study is to examine and recommend ecotourism as a digital detox. The research is a qualitative study. As a case study, some ecotourism providers providing digital detox services were examined. Since ecotourism is already intertwined with nature and culture, it can be seen as a ready market for digital detox.
