Authors:Tanzina Akhter, Md. Abdullah Al Mamun, Md. Abul Kalam Azad Pages: 1 - 30 Abstract: This study, for the first time, combines two supportive tools: bibliometric analysis of scientific mapping and content analysis of 210 published documents on tourism destination (TD) to perform a comprehensive review of TD literature. Findings explore that prior works have concentrated only on empirical validation of multiple TD areas while ignoring theoretical perspective completely. The bibliometric analysis reveals that the number of TD publications is following an ascending pattern since 2009 that can be marked by low productivity, low average citations per document, and rising author collaborations. The content analysis explores eight distinct areas within TD research: 1) service quality in TD; 2) role of culture and heritage in TD; 3) TD loyalty; 4) branding procedure and brand equity; 5) customer behaviour; 6) technological aspects; 7) tourism during pandemic situation; 8) forms of tourism. Authors:Tryson Yangailo, Ruth Mkandawire Pages: 31 - 49 Abstract: Education and training have become the most adopted and prioritised activities in many organisations in today's 21st century. This is because employees need to be innovative and constantly equipped with skills and knowledge based on the dynamism and competitiveness of the market environment. Few studies have linked education and training to innovation, though none attempted to include the contingency variable that would bring more insights on the nature of this relationship. Therefore, this study attempted to include the variable of 'quality' as a contingency variable to determine if it influences this association considering that the 21st century is mainly centred on quality. The study's sample data were collected from some employees in TAZARA management and analysed using Jamovi. The results present that quality results completely mediate the association between education and training, and important innovations. Authors:Shahedul Hasan, Md. Imran Hossain Shohag, Imtiaz Uddin Chowdhury, Rubab Miswar, Md. Ashaduzzaman Pages: 50 - 68 Abstract: In Bangladesh, app-based online food delivery services are gaining popularity. The increased use of mobile phones and the affordability of the internet aided businesses in meeting new customer demands such as food delivery to the customers' homes. Thus, the primary goal of this research is to identify the factors influencing customer intention to use food delivery apps (FDAs) during COVID-19. Data are collected using a structured questionnaire and analysed quantitatively using partial least square structured equation modelling (PLS-SEM). Results show that price value and convenience are the most influential factors affecting the intention to use FDAs during COVID-19. There is, however, insufficient evidence to demonstrate the influence of the other three factors (e.g., service quality, delivery experience, ease of use) on FDA use intention. A better understanding of emerging student consumers will assist management in leveraging the factors that must be considered when providing services to this market. Authors:Shahedul Hasan, Md. Imran Hossain Shohag, Imtiaz Uddin Chowdhury, Rubab Miswar, Md. Ashaduzzaman Pages: 69 - 100 Abstract: In March 2020, the World Health Organization announced COVID-19 as a pandemic, prompting all countries to take strict measures to contain the pandemic outbreak. The restrictions were applied by countries without uniform criteria, however, in the air transport industry, the decision was international and culminated in the closure of airports, resulting in a serious economic crisis. The present investigation aims to demonstrate the strategic importance of air cargo transportation in the context of a pandemic. This study aims to analyse how the COVID-19 influenced the air cargo transportation (Emirates) on the Lisbon-Dubai-Lisbon route. For this purpose, a relationship was established between the different variables and the problem identified, using statistical data worked through panel data and the partial least squares regression (PLSR) method. In the study, the positive impacts on the air cargo flow derived from GDP, fare and yield should be highlighted and the negative impacts, derived from the restrictions imposed by COVID-19.
