      Abstract: The utilization of bamboo into different variations product is a proof of the bamboo have meet a variety needs of the people. One of its uses is in to bamboo vinegar as liquid organic fertilizer. Hence, the potential bamboo vinegar need to be analyze  of the effect on the growth of plants forestry. This study aims to analyze the bamboo vinegar are sourced from part of the body bamboo (root, stem, and leaves) and its dilution concentration, on the growth of Neolamarckia cadamba. The experimental design used Completely Randomized Factorial Design with two factors, namely bamboo vinegar sourced from the roots, stems, and leaves and its dilution concentration. Furthermore, the data was processed using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) and Duncan's Multiple Range Test (DMRT). Different concentrations of bamboo vinegar were able to increase the diameter and number of leaves on Neolamarckia cadamba, but increase in the height only some treatments. The treatment of leaf-sourced bamboo vinegar with concentration of 5% (C7) significantly increased the height of Neolamarkia cadamba. Generally, bamboo vinegar sourced from roots, stems, and leaves with a concentration of 2 - 5% are still good for plant growth.

      Abstract: One of the causes of forest destruction by humans is their lack of understanding of the economic value of forest ecosystem services. One of the forest ecosystem services is water management services. In order to encourage people to protect forests, they need to be given knowledge about the economic value of forest water that is used daily. The Bukit Bungkuk Nature Reserve is a conservation area in Riau Province. From this area flow three tributaries to the Merangin Village area. This study aims to calculate the economic value of the hydrological function of the Bukit Bungkuk CA area as a provider of household water for the Merangin Village community. The research was conducted by measuring river water discharge and using a questionnaire to calculate household water use. Based on the results of the study, it is known that the amount of water used is 125.0015 m3/day. The price of PDAM Tirta Kampar water is Rp. 4.500/m3, the economic value of water from Bukit Bungkuk Nature Reserve in Merangin Village is Rp. 562,506.72/day or Rp. 205,314,953/year. While the total economic value of water is Rp. 536,371,015,5 /day or Rp. 195,775,420,657/year.

      Abstract: The fundamental part of the ecological system in the activity cycle of living things is birds. The distribution and existence of flora in an area is caused by birds. Changes in land cover in the context of agroforestry development at Lancang Kuning University can affect changes in environmental conditions, one of which is the life of wildlife, especially birds. This research aims to: Identify the diversity of birds and flora as a place for bird activities in agroforestry development areas. How to collect bird data with counting points. Bird logging with encounters and trails. Found 29 species with a family of 16. Bondol Peking, Sparrow and Cucak Kutilang are bird species that are often present (individual) 25, 15 and 10. The H' value is 2.94, the E value is 0.87 and the value is 0.87, R as much as 5.78. Cucak Kutilang and Perkutut Jawa have the highest KR values, namely 12.20% and 10.11%, respectively.       Abstract: Agroforestry is defined as an integrated land use system by taking into account social, ecological and economic aspects through a combination of forestry plants with agricultural crops and livestock together so that from one unit of land optimal and sustainable production can be obtained. The objectives of this study (1) are to identify agroforestry management patterns in the Bacan KPH Empowerment Block, (2) to develop a strategy for managing and developing agroforestry in the Bacan KPH empowerment block. Data collection was carried out by field observations on deliberately selected agroforestry lands. Strategic analysis of agroforestry management was carried out using SWOT analysis. This step was carried out to analyze the agroforestry management and development strategy in the Bacan Model FMU empowerment block, Papaloang Village, South Bacan District. The results showed that the type of agroforestry managed by farmers in the Bacan KPH empowerment block in Papaloang Village, South Bacan District is a complex type of agroforestry because it consists of two or more plant groups. The management of agroforestry by farmers uses the experience gained from generation to generation. The management system is carried out traditionally starting from land preparation, seed preparation, planting, maintenance, harvesting and post-harvest processing to marketing. Calculation of the IFAS and EFAS matrices, agroforestry management in the KPH empowerment block is in quadrant I (0.40; 0.25). This quadrant describes a situation that is very profitable in doing business.

      Abstract: In supporting the management of Tahura Minas Sultan Syarif Hasyim to ensure the visitor’s safety and security while doing an activity on it, it is necessary to make efforts to improve the management of Tahura Minas. One of them is safety management for administrators and visitors. The objective of this study is to analyze the sources of danger that existed in Tahura Minas Sultan Syarif Hasyim through the forms of visitor activities on it and the locations frequently visited by the visitor. This research was built by using survey, observation and interview with the administrator of Tahura.  The research result found that the safety management of visitors on Tahura Minas Sultan Syarif Hasyim has not been fully implemented. Even though in some areas have been implemented,  it needs a written document in the form of SOPs, regulations, and commitments which is manifested in the implementation of field safety management. Four locations frequently visited by visitors are the playing ground, camping ground, nursery, and education area. These locations can not be separated from the sources of danger originating from the environment, vegetation, natural disasters, wild animals, and dangerous visitor activities.

      Abstract: Bayur wood is included in strong class III with a specific gravity ranging from 0.30-0.70 (average 0.53) and has a slightly rough texture but generally has a smooth and shiny surface. This research will look at the characteristics of bayur wood laminated boards as a substitute for solid boards. To determine the quality of the laminated board produced, it is necessary to test the physical and mechanical properties of the resulting laminated board. The method used in this study used an experimental method with an experimental design using a non-factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD). Based on the results of the research on bayur wood laminated boards, it can be concluded that the value of the physical and mechanical properties of laminated boards has met the standards of SNI 03-2105-2006 and JAS JAS 234-2007 except for the thickness shrinkage and Modulus of Elasticity (MoE) tests. Laur weight treatment did not significantly affect all tests of physical and mechanical properties of Bajur wood laminated boards except for testing the moisture content and Modulus of Rupture (MoR). Based on the standard of wood strength class, laminated boards from Bayur wood are equivalent to wood with strength class III

      Abstract: Pemanfatan limbah biomassa serbuk serutan rotan dan serbuk gergaji campuran sebagai bahan baku pembuatan biopelet dapat menciptakan solusi inovatif pengganti bahan bakar fosil. Sehingga perlu dilakukan penelitian pembuatan biopelet dari limbah biomassa serbuk serutan rotan dan serbuk gergaji campuran dengan berbagai ukuran serbuk dan komposisi serbuk. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui karakteristik biopelet dari serbuk serutan rotan dan serbuk gergaji campuran menggunakan perekat sagu sebagai sumber energi alternatif serta mengetahui ukuran serbuk dan komposisi terbaik serbuk serutan rotan dan serbuk gergaji campuran untuk pembuatan biopelet. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) faktorial dengan dua faktor yang terdiri dari limabelas kombinasi perlakuan dan tiga kali ulangan. Bahan baku dikeringkan selama 3 hari, kemudian dihaluskan dan disaring, lalu bahan baku dicampur dengan perekat dan dicetak, terakhir dilakukan pengujian parameter. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kerapatan, kadar air, kadar zat menguap dan nilai kalor biopelet memenuhi SNI 8021:2014, kadar abu biopelet belum memenuhi SNI 8021:2014 dan kadar karbon terikat belum semua perlakuan memenuhi SNI 8021:2014. Komposisi biopelet terbaik diperoleh pada perlakuan R2P2 dengan ukuran serbuk 40 mesh dan komposisi serbuk gergaji campuran 100% dengan kerpatan 0,98g/cm3, kadar air 10,03%, kadar zat menguap 74,38%, kadar abu 6,07%, kadar karbon terikat 19,55% dan nilai kalor 5.226,54kal/g.
