Authors:Valerii Yefymenko, Vira Rudenko, Olha Titova, Olena Kosenko, Tetiana Kravchuk Pages: 41 - 48 Abstract: The purpose of this article is to perform research to improve the stability, quality and efficiency of gasoline-alcohol fuel compositions, as well as obtaining high-octane gasolines corresponding to the modern standards with the addition of alcohols and their mixtures to these gasolines. Research methods: The article considers physicochemical methods for studying the stratification of alcohol-gasoline mixtures, determining the water content in them, as well as determining the octane number of alcohol-gasoline compositions. Results: The raw material base and possibilities of bioethanol production in Ukraine as an ecological additive to gasoline and as a way to increase their octane number were studied. Stratification temperatures of alcohol-gasoline mixtures and octane numbers of A-92 gasoline with different alcohol content were determined. Discussion: It is proposed to use higher concentrations of ethanol (bioethanol) in gasoline mixtures more than 40% of alcohol, because it does not require dehydration. It is proposed to use an additional fuel pump, which would work only for mixing the fuel mixture, to prevent stratification of the fuel-ethanol composition during its long-term storage in the car’s tanks. Authors:Klarisse Iradukunda, Yuliya Averyanova Pages: 12 - 17 Abstract: This paper aims to combine two vision systems as a new technology to suggest the improvement in the continuing problem of Controlled Flight into Terrain (CFIT) accidents. A combined enhanced flight vision system and synthetic vision system seems to hold the solution, while it unhesitatingly accommodated to the commercial and General aviation instrument environment if pilots are getting minimal instrument training. This research shows the benefit of combined enhanced flight vision and synthetic vision systems based on analysis of the accident that occurred in 2013 on approach at Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport. It is shown that the use of a combined system, could have prevented this accident. The head-up display is taken to facilitate this technology to the pilot to be able to see and read accurately using sky lenses. Authors:Оlga Titova, Zoia Hrushak , Tetiana Kravchuk , Valerii Yefymenko, Mariia Maksumiuk Pages: 37 - 47 Abstract: Purpose: The purpose of this article is to determine the dependence of the rate of gel formation on the type of reagent-inhibitor of the gel formation process, and to study the kinetic dependences of gel formation of silicate compositions in the presence of compounds that regulate the rate of gel formation. Research methods: Direct and reverse titration, potentiometric titration, pH-metry, determination of the dynamic viscosity on a rotational viscometer, axial compression method to determine the elastic modulus were used to study the possibility of using chemical reagents as gelation inhibitors. Results: The possibility of using inorganic and organic additives to slow down the gel formation process and the effect of these additives on the strength of the gel, their thermodynamic parameters have been researched. Discussion: The adding of organic acids into the silicate composition as "crosslinking agents" slows down the gel formation process, while replacing hydrochloric acid with other gel acids that slow down the gel formation process does not lead to a decrease in the strength characteristics of these systems compared to the standard. It was found that with an increase in the gelation time, the strength of the gels decreases, and the syneresis increases; the adding of inhibitor additives insignificantly worsens the filterability of silicate compositions, which in general have bad filterability, leading to an increase in resistance during filtration at the inlet section of the sample. Observations have shown that the addition of additives-inhibitors does not affect the thermal stability of gels, regardless of the additives' nature. Authors:Оlga Titova, Zoia Hrushak, Tetiana Kravchuk Pages: 41 - 48 Abstract: Purpose: The aim of this article is to study the possibility of xanthan usage as a polymer additive in silicate-gel solutions when creation compositions for enhancing oil recovery. The dependence of the time of gel formation of the silicate-polymer compositions and the pH of the gel-forming solution from various concentrations of xanthan and polyacrylamide was analyzed. Research methods: Direct and reverse titration, potentiometric titration, pH-metry, determination of the dynamic viscosity on a rotational viscometer, axial compression method to determine the elastic modulus were used to determine the possibility of xanthan usage as a polymer additive instead of polyacrylamide. Results: Such investigations as determination the influence of polymer type and concentration on the elastic modulus and syneresis of compositions in the gel state have been performed to determine the possibility of xanthan usage as a polymer additive of gel-forming composition and influence of this polymer on the dynamic viscosity of gel-forming compositions, gel strength, stability in time, the possibility of gel destruction. Discussion: Xanthan investigation as an alternative polymer has shown the perspective of its usage in the oil recovery industry. The environmental friendliness of technologies developed with the use of xanthan, which is safe for the environment, does not lead to an irreversible change in the reservoir properties of the formation. The lower molecular weight of xanthan in comparison with synthetic polymers determines the improved filtration properties of xanthan solutions, especially in low permeability conditions, which also makes it possible to carry out deeper treatments of the formation. Authors:Olena Matvyeyeva, Yuliia Vovk, Oleksandr Nilow Pages: 49 - 56 Abstract: Purpose: the analysis of fuel transport systems and ground equipment of the fuel supply company has shown that «free» water is present in fuels, also solid contaminations, as rust and dust, and microbiological pollution. The problem of microbiological contamination is actually because the quality of fuel and operational reliability of equipment is deteriorating. This article shows that the main consequences of microbiological damage to hydrocarbon fuels are microbiological corrosion of parts and contamination. This leads to premature clogging of the filters. Also the microorganisms-destructors of hydrocarbon fuels, the main reasons of their presence in fuels, the basic technological operations in the ground fuel enterprises where microbiological pollution is produced most often are specified. Features of development of microbiological pollution of fuels for aviation and land transport are considered. Methods: express methods and long-term methods are used to determine microbiological contaminants. Resistance to microbiological damage to fuels in this work was determined using the method of MicrobMonitor 2, which is recommended by IATA and ICAO. Results: the research of Jet-A1 fuel samples taken from the airport tanks was performed. Most of the samples examined showed the presence of microbiological inclusions. The test samples show microbiological damage to the fuel by different types of microorganisms. Direct seeding methods were used for identification. Interpretation of test results was performed according to the MicrobMonitor2 methodology. The use of measures such as: timely conducting a control inspection, to remove «free» water from fuel tanks, periodic monitoring of microbial fuel damage at all stages of its operation, use recommended methodology and to develop new methods of rapid diagnosis can significantly minimize the level of risk. Authors:Л. С. Семко, Ю. О. Нікітін Pages: 173 - 179 Abstract: A study was made of the purposeful regulation of mechanical and electro-physical properties of composites systems: polyethylene - exfoliated graphite. The contents of the composite materials changed fr m 0 up to 1 of the exfoliated graphite part. The results obtained were interpreted within the scope of he percolation theory. It has been established that, depending on the percolation process characteristic of the giwen polyethylene and exfoliated graphite cluster structure, the polymer-graphite system can have one or two critical concentration of the percolation threshold, where a sharp change in the mechanical and electro-physical properties takes place. The reinforcement effect for a specimen of the composite material has been shown to depend on exfoliated graphite content, the structure of its clusters and adhesion strength betwi en components. The results obtained basic principles of the optimal structure formation of composite mater tls were suggested to ensure low values electro-physical properties and high strength characteristics.

Authors:В. М. Ледовських, П. Г. Приходченко Pages: 188 - 193 Abstract: Phenomenons of synergism in mixes of surfactants were researched. Reasons of effects of synergism in mixes of surfactants may be various. It was determined that phenomenon of synergism may be obsen ed in mixes of surfactants those are different in their electric nature, in geometric sizes (consist of high-molecular and low-molecular surfactants), in a mechanism of does of individual components in mixes on a moti эп of separate electrochemical reactions of metal’s corrosion (mixes of no organic passivators and adsofptive organic surfactants; mixes those provide inhibition of anodic reaction (ionization of metal) and accele ating of cathode reaction). Super additive intensification of surfactant’s does in mixes due to formation of si rface layers with high, near limited extent of surface’s infill was observed. This point of view is confirmee with the same character of surface activity on the interfaces solution-air, solution-mercury, and solution solid metal for surface-active cations and anions, their mixes. Surface activity increases due to arising of attr; ictive interaction among ions with different charges ((+) and (-)) instead of repulsive interaction among ion: with the same charge ((+) and (+) or (-) and (-)).
