Abstract: To assess the reliability of parts made of polymer composite materials when sand and dust enter the compressor during take-off and landing, a periodic measurement of the part thickness during aircraft parking is proposed. The criterion is based on checking the permissible level of static stresses and natural frequencies when the thickness of the composite part of the flow separator is decreased. To determine the critical thickness, a series of calculations of natural frequencies and mode shapes as well as maxima static displacements and stresses of the flow separator was performed. Abstract: The paper analyzes the problem of the operation of an unmanned aerial vehicle with ducted fan propulsors in hovering mode over a flat landing platform. Numerical calculations of gas dynamics were carried out using the traditional approach to turbulence simulation based on averaged Navier–Stokes equations and using the eddy-resolving method of large eddies. The results obtained which confirm a need to use eddy-resolving approaches. PubDate: 2020-12-01
Abstract: The technology of bending–rolling in rollers of shaped aircraft parts is proposed and implemented by the pilot straightening–bending installation in AO Ulyanovsk NIAT. Experimental results are presented for research of longitudinal bending of aircraft part blanks made of formed sections. The data obtained demonstrates the possibility of obtaining the workpieces with a radius of curvature less than 600 mm from high-strength aluminum alloys while preserving the profile cross-section parameters. Abstract: The paper describes the results of the experimental study of destruction of the foil gas dynamic bearing for a rotor of the gas turbine power plant. An analysis of temperature field, displacement and torque in the bearing was performed depending on the load and at the moment of destruction. The ultimate bearing capacity and the range of stable operation were determined. PubDate: 2020-12-01
