      Abstract: This research aims to determine the description of students’ self-regulation of Mathematics Education FKIP at the Universitas Riau during the Covid-19 pandemic. The subjects in this study were 121 students of Mathematics Education, FKIP, Universitas Riau. This research uses a descriptive quantitative approach. The data obtained from students was the score of self-regulation of Mathematics Education students, FKIP, Universitas Riau during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research that was conducted showed that the students' self-regulation were at a moderate level as many as 21 people (17.36%), at a high level as many as 80 people (66.12%), and at a very high level as many as 20 people (16.53%). Meanwhile, the achievement of students' self-regulation for each indicator consisted of a goal-setting indicator of 85.74% with a good category, an indicator of environment structuring of 80.48% in a good category, an indicator of task strategies of 73.17% in a fair category, an indicator of time management is 63.22%% in a fair category, an indicator of seeking help is 73.76% in a fair category, and self-evaluation indicator is 87.6% in a very good category. Based on the self-regulation category of each student and the percentage of self-regulation achievement for each indicator, it can be said that the students of Mathematics Education FKIP Universitas Riau were able to adapt while taking online classes during the Covid-19 pandemic by having good self-regulation.

  • Analisis Pada Penyelesaian Analisis Kompleks: Curiosity Attitude Mahasiswa

      Abstract: This research aims to describe and describe curiosity student. The indicators of curiosity in this study are asking about information or problems given, reading sources outside the textbook about material related to the lesson, the desire to learn, and the desire to solve problems. The subjects of this research were students of the FKIP UIR mathematics education study program for the 2019/2020 academic year which consisted of 60 people. This research was conducted from April 2020 to July 2020. The research method used was descriptive qualitative. Retrieval of data using a curiosity questionnaire instrument at the completion of the complex analysis that has been developed by the researcher. The data analysis technique used was qualitative questionnaire data analysis. The results of data analysis show that overall the curiosity is students'classified as "good" with an average questionnaire score of 75.19%, this indicates that there is curiosity of students towards solving complex analyzes, but it still needs to be improved through learning that can increase student curiosity.

  • Prespektif Pembelajaran Matematika Menggunakan Sistem Daring di MI PUI
           Kemped Wirakanan Selama Pandemi Covid-19

      Abstract: This study aims to see the process of implementing mathematics learning through an online system, as well as the perspectives of teachers, parents, and students on the implementation of online learning during the Covid-19 virus pandemic. This research uses phenomenological qualitative research. Data collection using interview techniques and literature study. The subjects in this study were teachers, parents, and grade VI students of MI PUI Kemped Wirakanan in the 2020/2021 school year. Based on the results of the study, it was found that several obstacles caused the online learning process to be less effective due to lack of reference material, students did not understand the material provided by the teacher, not all students had cellphones, spending increased to buy quotas. From a perspective, researchers did not find respondents who agreed with online learning that was carried out in remote villages at the primary school level.

  • Analisis Kemampuan Literasi Matematika Peserta Didik pada Materi Program
           Linear dalam Pembelajaran Daring

      Abstract: Mathematical literacy skills indicate an individual's capacity to formulate, employ, and interpret & evaluate mathematics. Mathematical literacy skills are in line with numeracy skills which are an important component in solving problems in everyday life. The purpose of this study is to describe achievement of mathematics literacy skills in terms of aspects of the mathematical process in subject linear programming in online learning. This research is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The data was collected by means of tests of mathematical literacy skills and interviews. The research subjects were 16 students of class XI MIPA 2 SMA Negeri 1 Gresik in the academic year 2020/2021. The results of this study in “Jajanan Tradisional” problem obtained an average score of formulate, employ, and interpret & evaluate are 89%, 68%, and 48%; whereas in “Gizi” Problem the average formulate’s score was 73%, employ’s score was 51%, and interpret & evaluate’s score was 21%. The achievement of students mathematical literacy test scores in “Jajanan Tradisional” problem was higher than students mathematical literacy test scores in “Gizi” Problem. Most of the students had not used diagrams, graphs and mathematical constructs, and took mathematical information from them. Most students only interpret mathematical results back to the real-world context without analyzing mathematical conclusions that make sense or not to the context of the problem, do not check the boundaries of mathematical concepts and mathematical solutions, and do not identify the limitations of the models used to solve problems.

  • Self Regulation, Self Esteem, dan Self Concept Berpengaruh Terhadap
           Prestasi Belajar Matematika Peserta Didik

      Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of self regulation, self esteem and self concept. These independent variables are factors within students who have an important role in the learning process. So that the factors in these students become the core in this research study. This type of research is ex post facto involving grade VIII students of SMPN 5 Makassar with a total sample of 168 students. Data collection techniques used questionnaire instruments of self regulation, self esteem and self concept and documentation data in the form of student achievement scores that had passed the validation process. Furthermore, the collected data were analyzed by using multiple linear regression after passing the prerequisite test process. The conclusion of this study shows that self-regulation, self-esteem and self-concept together have an effect on the learning achievement of class VIII students of SMAN 5 Makassar with a large influence of 90.2% and the remaining 9.8% is influenced by other factors. This shows that the factors from within these students have an important role in the success of students in the learning process.

  • Analisis Penggunaan Multimedia Pembelajaran Interaktif terhadap Motivasi
           Belajar Peserta Didik pada Mata Pelajaran Matematika

      Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine and identify the extent how far the use of computer-based interactive multimedia made by the Lectora application on the motivation of students and their responses. The author uses qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. The research was held at MA Assa'adah Jamanis Tasikmalaya. The research subjects were students and mathematics teachers 10th grade. The selection was made purposively. Because of the Covid 19 pandemic condition, the number of students is limited to 50% of the computer laboratory capacity, which is 16 people. The technique of collection data are semi-structured interviews, observation of active participation in data collection, and documentation. The instruments used in this study are (1) interview instruments, (2) observation instruments, (3) document instruments. Data were analyzed using the Analysis Interactive model with several stages, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the use of interactive multimedia learning media, students were  motivated and active. They feel happy and challenged. They also don't feel bored when they are at the computer. This learning media presents material complete and attractive material. This interactive learning media is easy to use, contains mathematical concepts, material can be repeated, both written and video material. This media can create a more focused learning condition. The media is relevant to the material being studied. However, it is important to note, that although technology can be learning resource, it still cannot replace the teacher's position.

      Abstract: This study aims to determine how the students’ difficulties in solving the test questions with indicators of the logical-mathematical thinking ability in one of the geometry materials, especially cubes. This study was conducted according to the facts in 9th-grade of SMP Negeri (State Junior High School)in one of the schools in Karawang Regency. This study used descriptive research with a qualitative approach.  The data were collected by an essay test consisting of 4 questions, and interviews. The subjects of the study were 28 9th-grade students of SMPN 1 Cikampek Karawang Regency. The instrument of the study used the essay test with indicators of logical-mathematical thinking ability according to (Andini, 2017): (1) The ability to conclude based on the appropriate portion; (2) The ability to conclude based on the examples; 3) The ability to conclude based on the existing data; (4) The ability to conclude based on the relationship between two variables. The data analysis techniques used were data collection, data reduction, data presenting, and concluding. The results of the study in the geometry materials show that all indicators of logical-mathematical thinking ability have not been achieved maximally. Only students with high category who meet the indicator, while the students who have moderate and low categories cannot meet the indicators. Out of 28 students, 3 students are in the high category with a percentage of 10.71%, 75% of students are in the moderate category, and 4 students are in the low category with a percentage of 14.29%. These results of the study show that students still have difficulty understanding and mastering the concepts to solve the test questions with the indicators of logical-mathematical thinking ability.

      Abstract: This study aims to examine whether there is an effect of independent learning on the mathematical reasoning abilities of junior high school students. This research is a quantitative study with a correlational method. The population in this study were all class VIII students at one of the public schools in Karawang Regency for the 2019/2020 academic year with 1 class being selected as the research sample, namely class VIII C. Data collection techniques were obtained using tests in the form of a description of questions regarding reasoning abilities mathematics, and non-tests in the form of independent learning questionnaires, as well as interviews conducted online. Then, the data obtained were analyzed using a simple linear regression test. Based on the results of data processing, the regression equation is obtained, namely Y = 7.50 + 0.35X with a determination coefficient of 79%. Thus, independent learning has a positive influence on the variable mathematical reasoning ability of students by 79%, and 21% is influenced by other factors that are not included in this simple linear regression analysis. Furthermore, obtained a significance value of 0.00 < 0.05, then H0 is rejected. Thus, it can be interpreted that there is a significant influence between independent learning on the mathematical reasoning abilities of junior high school students.

      Abstract: The purpose of this research is the mathematical problem-solving abilities of male and female students in grade VII Junior High School. The type of research carried out in this research is qualitative with the case study method, using data analysis techniques, namely data analysis model of Miles and Huberman. Activity procedures in data analysis in this study include: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Data collection used test instruments for problem solving abilities on triangular material and unstructured interviews with research subjects. The subjects taken were six students, consisting of three male students and three female students. The data obtained, then analyzed qualitatively. The results of this study indicate that male students are more prominent in the implementation stage only, female students write down the stages of understanding, making, implementing, and checking in order and are more inclined to imitate the previous completion process.

  • Bahan Ajar Berbasis Alquran Teaching Model: Pemahaman Konsep Bangun Datar

      Abstract: This research aims to produce mathematics teaching materials based on the ALQURUN Teaching Model (ATM). This research is a research and development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model. There are 5 stages in the ADDIE development model, namely: (1) Analysis; (2) Design; (3) Development; (4) Implementation; (5) Evaluation. The data collection instruments used were: interviews, material expert validator questionnaire, media expert validator questionnaire, student response questionnaire, and concept understanding ability tests. The results of the analysis of the material expert validation and media products of teaching materials based on ALQURUN Teaching Model fall into the feasible category of use with an average of 3.58 and 3.62 of the maximum score 4. The results of the analysis of student responses in small-scale trials (10 students) Large scale (20 students) for the developed teaching materials obtained very attractive criteria with an average score of 3.48 and 3.65 from a maximum score of 4. While the results of the effectiveness test of teaching material products developed towards improving students' understanding of mathematical concepts obtained  the moderate category. with an effect size of 0.50 for SMPN in Lampung Utara. From these results,it shows that the produce mathematics teaching materials based on the ALQURUN Teaching Model (ATM) is very feasible to be used in supporting learning activities in the classroom.

  • Metakognisi Siswa Operasional Konkret Dalam Pemecahan Masalah Matematika

      Abstract: Vocational High School students should have their cognitive development stage in formal operations. However, there are still vocational high school students whose cognitive development stages are in concrete operations. The purpose of this study was to determine the students' concrete operational metacognition in solving mathematical problems. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The research subjects were two students who were taken using purposive sampling. The research instrument used was the logical thinking ability test, problem-solving tests and metacognition interview guidelines. The data analysis stages used were examining all data, classifying the level of students' logical thinking abilities, selecting concrete operational students to be used as research subjects, reviewing the results of concrete operational student metacognition work in solving mathematical problems, verifying data and data sources that had been classified and transcribed in presentation or exposure to data. The results showed that concrete operational students carried out cognitive regulation in the step of understanding problems, implementing plans and re-examining solutions that had been produced. The metacognition skill component appeared at all three steps. Only the step of making a plan that does not occur properly regulation of cognition. It can be concluded that concrete operational students who are in grade X of vocational high school have good metacognition skills, but are weak in problem solving abilities.

      Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa SMP pada materi Prisma dan Limas. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini terdiri dari 3 siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Kedungwaringin yang dipilih masing-masing 1 siswa dari setiap kategori kemampuan komunikasi matematis tinggi, sedang, dan rendah secara purposive. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan tes dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data di olah melalui tiga tahap yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini adalah bahwa kemampuan memahami masalah sudah mampu dipahami oleh siswa kategori tinggi, sedang dan rendah sedangkan kemampuan menyusun rencana penyelesaian, melaksanakan rencana penyelesaian, dan memeriksa kembali hasil penyelesaian siswa kategori rendah masih lemah.

      Abstract: This study aims to describe and analyze students’ mathematical creative thinking ability in terms of cognitive style and gender. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The sampling technique was purposive sampling with the subject of this study were 4 students, consisting of 1 male student with a reflective cognitive style, 1 male student with an Impulsive cognitive style, 1 female student with a reflective cognitive style, and 1 female students with Impulsive cognitive style. The instruments in this study were the Matching Familiar Figure Test (MFFT) and mathematical creative thinking skills. Data analysis in this study is by data reduction and categorization, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The triangulation technique was used to validate the data by comparing the test results of the subject’s mathematical creative thinking ability with the interview. The conclusion of this study is that male gender subjects (namely S1 and S3), both reflective and impulsive cognitive styles are more able to think more flexibly by providing some prism netting images or some correct answers when solving math problems than female gender subjects ( namely S2 and S4) with reflective and impulsive cognitive style. Meanwhile, female gender subjects with impulsive cognitive style (S4) can provide detailed answers and have better accuracy than male gender subjects (S1 and S3)
