           highway border crossing points

    • Authors: Volodymyr Andrushko, Arkadii Dziavoruk, Mykhailo Nikulin
      Pages: 1 - 11
Abstract: Purpose: to reveal the peculiarities of simplification of border control procedures the Border Crossing Points (BCPs) for road traffic in the context of a sharp increase in passenger and traffic flows. Method: analysis, synthesis, generalization, search, information, systematic, and subject analysis. Findings: The introduction of simplifications in border control procedures involves a number of peculiarities: reducing the time for performing control procedures (this applies not only to border control but also to customs and other types of control); focusing the main efforts of border and customs control on risky categories of persons and vehicles; bringing the procedures of technological processes at border crossing points in line with the requirements of European legislation; ensuring comfortable border crossing for citizens and vehicles that comply with border and customs laws.. Paper type: theoretical.

  • Methodology for compiling temporary artillery range (firing) tables for
foreign-made mortar rounds in limited conditions during a large-scale
armed aggression of the russian federation

    • Authors: Yuriy Veklenko, Mykola Dorofeev, Tetiana Fitsailo, Boris Melnyk, Sergiy Rossip
      Pages: 12 - 23
Abstract: Purpose: implementation of the methodology of assessing the ballistic characteristics (tests, test firings) of foreign-made mortar shots for the compilation of abbreviated temporary firing tables for mortars of different manufacturers based on the results of test firings at the artillery directorate. Method: system analysis, mathematical statistics. Findings: based on the results of practical shootings according to the methodology for determining the assessment of ballistic characteristics of mortar shots on the created ballistic track, accurate, detailed data were obtained, which are given above, with the help of which the firing tables were calculated. Theoretical implications (if applicable): The theoretical value of the research is due to the fact that the creation of modern artillery systems (means of fire damage), the development of improvements (modernization) of existing ammunition, the compilation of appropriate firing tables requires practical firing, the methodology of which is described in this article. Article type: scientific and practical.

  • Global trends in banking innovations and technologies

    • Authors: Violetta Kharabara, Roman Greshko, Volodymyr Kharabara
      Pages: 93 - 101
Abstract: The article is devoted to the study of the problem of formation and use of modern innovations in the banking sector based on the use of the Internet. The authors determine that the current economic transformations observed today both at the global level and at the level of the national economy reflect the process of changing technological modes. The formation of a new, fifth technological mode implies the informatization of society, the use of information innovations in all spheres of human activity. It is innovations that become the key to sustainable economic development and a prerequisite for the formation of the information economy. The article discusses the most common approaches to the definition of "banking innovation" and its general characteristics: "strategic effect" of increasing the customer base, reducing the cost of banking operations at the optimal level of operational risk and operating costs. The main steps to support the innovation policy in the banking services market are described. The author analyzes the development of banking technologies and describes the most significant current trends in this area. The necessity of improving existing and introducing new banking products to increase the bank's competitiveness is determined. Given the assessment of the main threats to the use of the latest approaches to customer service in banking institutions, the author identifies areas for further development of banking innovations in order to improve the quality of banking services in Ukraine. An innovative model of banking business based on the use of modern payment technologies, applications and services is considered. The emphasis is placed on the relationship between the innovative activities of banks and the formation of customer loyalty and the growth of trust in banks. It is concluded that the main global trends in the development of banking innovations are: close relationship between the bank and the client, integration of the banking sector with social networks, messengers and Internet platforms, ensuring the security of banking processes through the introduction of new information technologies.

           operations

    • Authors: Vadim Telehin
      Pages: 134 - 148
Abstract: Purpose: development of a model for the functioning of the material resources supply system by determining the rational parameters of the system for its effective functioning in the performance of assigned tasks in the course of operations. Method: methods of structural analysis and synthesis, methods of evaluation and comparison, induction and deduction, as well as comparison, formalization, abstraction and modeling based on Petri nets. Findings: the conducted simulation modeling of the functioning of the system of providing material resources made it possible to determine a rational version of the functioning of the system with a set of rational characteristics according to the given parameters, which ensures high efficiency of the functioning of the system of providing material resources and a rational consumption of material resources for its implementation. Theoretical implications: consists in determining an approach to modeling the functioning of the system of providing material resources, taking into account the factor of dynamism in time and changing parameters and, as a result, the probability of completing tasks as intended (full and timely provision of material resources to units in the area of task performance in operations). Type of article: theoretical.

      Pages: 192 - 199
Abstract: Purpose: prevention of complications in compliance with the occupational hygiene of workers of industrial enterprises and reduction of the harmful effects of industrial flue gases on the inhabitants of the adjacent territories thanks to the graphic presentation, systematization and analysis of the influence of technological parameters on the indicators of desulfurization of gaseous emissions. Approach: analytical method and mathematical modeling were used as the main research methods. Findings: thanks to industrial data, double dependences of the degree of desulfurization of flue gases on the temperature conditions of the process, the volume of gas entering for cleaning, and the volume of gas entering for recirculation are graphically expressed. Corresponding linear mathematical models were built. This makes it possible to optimize technological indicators with further regulation of the desulfurization process to increase its efficiency. Achieving a reduction in the pollution of flue gases by sulfur dioxide contributes to the prevention of complications in the observance of occupational hygiene of workers of metallurgical enterprises, to the reduction of harmful effects on the health of the population of the regions close to the production area. Practical implications: on the basis of industrial data, double dependences are determined, which allows to achieve certain values of the degree of desulfurization of flue gases when adjusting the technological parameters of desulfurization with the establishment of the most rational indicators. The obtained results can be used in the optimization of the production process of industrial enterprises, the activity of which is accompanied by gaseous emissions with sulfur content. Value: mathematical models of double dependences of the degree of desulfurization on the technological parameters of the flue gas filtration process in industrial conditions were built. The obtained results are presented in the form of equations. For greater visibility, double graphs were constructed with the plotting of points of industrial indicators and the line of the obtained model. Future research: the development of future research is possible in the direction of optimization of the constructed mathematical model. Paper type: calculation-practical and analytical. Keywords: desulfurization, mathematical modeling, safety, work.
