The research results show that there are some factors that influenced the voter's behavior in casting their vote, i.e. the social setting in the Aceh mental hospital; and the influence also came from similar religion and ethnic group of the candidates with the voters. The research results also show that their participation includes involvement in the Election socialization conducted by Banda Aceh Independent Election Commission, and their involvement was limited to only voting on Election Day. Based on the research results, some conclusions can be made. Firstly, the tendency of mentally-disordered voters' behavior in deciding their votes was based on the sociological approach if they had been normal voters. However, they were the voters who were under the influence of drugs taken before voting. Secondly, their participation was considered passive participation if they had been normal voters. However, mentally-disordered voters were the voters experiencing a mental illness, so their awareness to participate in the Election was due to mobilization and guidance made by Banda Aceh Independent Election Commission in socialization regarding the Election and guidance provided by psychiatrists.KEY WORD: Simultaneous Election; Mentally-Disordered Voters; Voters’ Behavior. RESUME: “Analisis Perilaku dan Partisipasi Pemilih Gangguan Mental dalam Pemilihan Umum Serentak 2019 di Banda Aceh, Indonesia”. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi perilaku pemilih dalam memberikan suara, yaitu lingkungan sosial di RS (Rumah Sakit) Jiwa Aceh; dan pengaruh juga berasal dari kesamaan agama dan suku antara calon pemilih dengan pemilih. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa keikutsertaan mereka meliputi keterlibatan dalam sosialisasi PEMILU (Pemilihan Umum) yang dilakukan oleh Komisi Independen Pemilihan Banda Aceh, dan keterlibatan mereka hanya sebatas pemungutan suara pada hari PEMILU. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat ditarik beberapa kesimpulan. Pertama, kecenderungan perilaku pemilih tuna grahita dalam memutuskan suara didasarkan pada pendekatan sosiologis jika mereka adalah pemilih biasa. Namun, mereka adalah para pemilih yang sedang dalam pengaruh obat-obatan yang diminum sebelum pencoblosan. Kedua, partisipasi mereka dianggap partisipasi pasif jika mereka adalah pemilih biasa. Artikel ini – dengan mengguna-pakai pendekatan kualitatif, kaedah sejarah, dan sorotan literatur, termasuk temubual didalamnya – membicarakan perkembangan dan perubahan Perguruan Melayu Wanita pra-merdeka di Negara Brunei Darussalam dalam tempoh 1914 hingga 1983. Institusi perguruan bermula dengan perguruan tidak terlatih dengan pendidikan tidak formal. Kemunculan Residen British telah mempengaruhi institusi perguruan dengan penubuhan Sekolah Melayu pada tahun 1914. Sejak itu perguruan Melayu mula mengalami perubahan apabila bilangan pelajar wanita dan sekolah semakin bertambah, yang menyebabkan tenaga guru amat diperlukan. Hanya setelah tahun 1950-an, barulah institusi perguruan Melayu mula berkembang seiring dengan penubuhan Maktab Perguruan Melayu Brunei dan juga pemikiran ibu bapa yang lebih terbuka kepada anak-anak perempuan untuk bersekolah dan menceburi dalam bidang perguruan. Selain daripada itu, dorongan kerajaan dalam mempergiatkan peluang pekerjaan menjadi penyebab kepada penyertaan wanita dalam bidang perguruan bagi menabur bakti kepada bangsa dan negara. Perubahan ini drastik terus berlaku sehingga tahun 1983, apabila kaum wanita mendominasi bidang perguruan Brunei berbanding kaum lelaki. ABSTRACT: “The Malay Teachers Institution for Brunei Women in the Pre-Independence: Review on Developments and Changes”. The teaching profession plays an important role in the development of a country. This article – using a qualitative approach, historical method, and literature review, including interviews in it – talks about development and change the Malaya Teachers Institution in the pre-independence for Women in Brunei Darussalam in 1914 to 1983. The period begins with education institutions are not trained with informal education. The emergence of the British Resident has affected education institutions with the establishment of the Malay School in 1914. Since then the Malays Teacher Institution began to change when the number of female students and schools are growing, which causes much-needed the teachers. Only after 1950s, then the Malay education institutions began to grow in tandem with the establishment of the Brunei Malay Teachers College and also thought parents were more open to girls to go to school and get into the teaching profession. Apart from that, the government's encouragement in intensifying employment opportunities is the reason for the participation of women in the field of teaching to spread devotion to the nation and country. Sektor ini juga merupakan bagian terbesar yang mampu bertahan menghadapi beberapa krisis ekonomi di Indonesia. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menganalisis dan mengetahui penerapan konsep nilai pelanggan UMKM berdasarkan pemasaran eksperimen dan kerelasian di Lingkungan Pariwisata Jawa Barat. Digunakan penelitian survei melalui pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif verifikatif. Data diperoleh dari 270 orang konsumen UMKM, dengan teknik sampling yang digunakan metode proporsional cluster stratisfied random sampling. Analisis data digunakan dengan teknik SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) dengan bantuan software AMOS (Analysis of Moment Structures). Teknik pengukuran model digunakan adalah measurement model dan structural model serta pengujian hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan Pemasaran Eksperimen (Experiential Marketing) terhadap Nilai Pelanggan (Customer Value) di Lingkungan Pariwisata Jawa Barat, dengan besaran koefisiennya sebesar -0.358, dan terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan Kerelasian Pelanggan (Customer Relationship Marketing) terhadap Nilai Pelanggan (Customer Value) di Lingkungan Pariwisata Jawa Barat, dengan besaran koefisiennya sebesar 1.794. ABSTRACT: “Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises’ Customer Value Based on Experimental Marketing and Relation in West Java Tourism Environment, Indonesia”. The MSME (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) sector is mainstay of economic development in Indonesia. This sector is also the largest part that has been able to withstand several economic crises in Indonesia. The purpose of this study is to analyze and determine the application of the concept of MSME customer value based on experimental marketing and relationship in the West Java Tourism Environment. Survey research is used through a quantitative descriptive verification approaches. The data were obtained from 270 MSME consumers, with the sampling technique using the proportional cluster stratisfied random sampling method. Data analysis was used with SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) techniques with the help of AMOS (Analysis of Moment Structures) software. The measurement model techniques used are measurement models and structural models as well as hypothesis testing. The results showed that there was no significant effect of Experimental Marketing on Ccustomer Value in the West Java Tourism Environment, with a coefficient of -0.358, and there was a significant effect on Customer Relationship Marketing on Customer Value in the West Java Tourism Environment with a coefficient of 1.794.KEY WORD: Experimental Marketing; Customer Relation; Customer Value. Authors:Mahdi Syahbandir, Lita Oktarina, Efendi Efendi Pages: 145 - 158 Abstract: ABSTRACT: People with disabilities have not been given the maximum opportunity to participate in an Election. This research was aimed at finding out the factors influencing the motivation of 4.73% of the voters with disabilities who participated in the 2017’s Election in Bireuen, and the factors contributing to the low participation of 95.27% of people with disabilities registered to vote in the 2017’s Election in Bireuen District; and this also aimed at finding out the efforts which can be made to increase the participation of people with disabilities in the next Elections in Bireuen District. To achieve these objectives, the Authors used Political Participation Theory and Voter Behavior Theory. This research utilized a qualitative descriptive method. The results of this research showed the factors affecting the motivation of people with disability who participated in the 2017's Regional Election in Bireuen District include the awareness of the right to vote; family support; politics education conducted by the Organizers of the Elections in Bireuen District; and figures who developed into political contestants. Some solutions for the participation of disabled people increased in subsequent elections, namely: maximizing the accessibility of the Elections to disability and the adjustment of socialization programs based on the type of disability exist in Bireuen Regency.KEY WORD: Elections; Disabilities; Participation. RESUME: “Analisis Partisipasi Penyandang Disabilitas pada PEMILUKADA 2017 di Kabupaten Bireuen, Aceh, Indonesia”. Penyandang disabilitas belum secara maksimal memanfaatkan peluang untuk ikut serta dalam mensukseskan PEMILU (Pemilihan Umum). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor yang mempengaruhi motivasi 4.73% penyandang disabilitas yang berpartisipasi, dan faktor yang mempengaruhi rendahnya partisipasi yaitu sebesar 95.27% penyandang disabilitas, serta solusi yang perlu ditempuh agar partisipasi penyandang disabilitas dapat meningkat pada PEMILUKADA (Pemilihan Umum Kepala Daerah) selanjutnya di Kabupaten Bireuen. Untuk menganalisis permasalahan dalam penelitian ini, Penulis menggunakan Teori Partisipasi Politik dan Teori Perilaku Pemilih. Pendekatan penelitian yang gunakan adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi motivasi penyandang disabilitas berpartisipasi dalam PEMILUKADA di Kabupaten Bireuen tahun 2017, antara lain: kesadaran penyandang disabilitas terhadap hak memilih; dukungan keluarga; sosialisasi pendidikan politik yang dilakukan oleh Penyelenggara; dan figur peserta calon kepala daerah yang maju menjadi peserta PEMILUKADA. Terdapat beberapa solusi agar partisipasi penyandang disabilitas meningkat dalam PEMILUKADA selanjutnya, yaitu: memaksimalkan aksesibilitas PEMILUKADA terhadap pemilih disabilitas dan penyesuaian program sosialisasi berdasarkan jenis disabilitas yang disandang oleh pemilih. Authors:Fitri Tustiningsih, Kuntoro Kuntoro Pages: 159 - 182 Abstract: RESUME: Berpikir kritis dan penguasaan kosakata merupakan faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi kemampuan menulis teks argumentasi. Tingkat kemampuan menulis teks argumentasi pada siswa belum menunjukkan hasil yang memuaskan. Selain itu, penguasaan kosakata siswa yang masih kurang disebabkan kurangnya kemampuan siswa dalam mengartikan kata-kata. Penelitian ini bersifat korelasional dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan Acak Sederhana, dengan jumlah sampel yang digunakan 32 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, dokumentasi, dan tes. Uji instrumen dilakukan dengan uji validitas dan uji reliabilitas. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dan statistik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hubungan positif antara Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis dengan Kemampuan Menulis Teks Argumentasi pada siswa kelas VIII-C SMP (Sekolah Menengah Pertama) Negeri 9 Purwokerto di Jawa Tengah, Indonesia adalah positif dan signifikan. Hubungan yang positif dan signifikan juga nampak antara Penguasaan Kosakata (X2) dengan Kemampuan Menulis Teks Argumentasi (Y). Untuk mengetahui signifikansi korelasi antara Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis (X1) dan Penguasaan Kosakata (X2) dengan Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis (Y), berdasarkan analisis Korelasi Product Moment adalah sebesar 0.729, sehingga jelas hubungannya bersifat positif dan signifikan.KATA KUNCI: Kemampuan Menulis Teks Argumentasi; Berpikir Kritis; Penguasaan Kosakata. ABSTRACT: “The Relationship between Critical Thinking Ability and Vocabulary Mastery towards the Ability to Write the Arguments”. Critical thinking and vocabulary mastery are factors that can affect the ability to write the argumentation texts. The level of ability to write argumentation text of students have not shown satisfactory results. In addition, the students’ lack of vocabulary mastery is due to the lack of students' ability to interpret words. This is a correlational research with a quantitative approach. The sampling technique was simple randomized, with a sample size of 32 students. Data collection techniques using observation, documentation, and tests. The instrument test was carried out by using the validity test and the reliability test. The data analysis used was descriptive and statistical analysis. The results showed that there is a positive and significance relationship between Critical Thinking Ability and the Ability to Write Argumentation Text in class VIII-C Public SMP (Junior High School) 9 Purwokerto in Central Java, Indonesia. A positive and significant relationship seems also between Vocabulary Mastery (X2) and the Ability to Write Argumentation Text (Y). This journal, with print-ISSN 1979-0112 and online-ISSN 2622-6855, was firstly published on May 20, 2008 in the context to commemorate One Millenium of National Awakening Day in Indonesian. The SOSIOHUMANIKA journal is published twice a year i.e. every May and November. For period 2013 to 2018, the SOSIOHUMANIKA journal has been accredited by Ditjendikti Kemdikbud RI (Directorate-General of Higher Education, Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia).
