  • The Influence of Reggaeton on Youth Sexuality: An Analysis of its Cultural
           and Social Implications

    • Abstract: Resumen La revolución sexual moderna caracterizada por la búsqueda del placer personal, desligada de las relaciones estables tradicionales ha sido impulsada por factores como la permisividad moral y la proliferación de tecnologías digitales, incluyendo aplicaciones y sitios web de citas. En ese contexto, el presente estudio tiene como objetivo analizar el impacto del reguetón en la sexualidad de los jóvenes de la Generación Z. Para tal fin, se realizó una revisión de la literatura académica sobre la influencia de este género musical en la formación de la identidad sexual y las actitudes hacia la sexualidad. Los hallazgos muestran que, el reguetón, a través de sus letras promueven la cosificación de la mujer y la masculinidad tóxica, junto con sus componentes audiovisuales, lo que repercute el modo en que los jóvenes conciben las relaciones y la sexualidad, lo cual puede perpetuar estereotipos de género perjudiciales y tener un impacto negativo en las relaciones interpersonales. Como conclusión se destaca la necesidad de que los artistas y la industria musical consideren su responsabilidad ética en la promoción de representaciones saludables y respetuosas de la sexualidad.Abstract The contemporary sexual landscape witnesses a discernible shift towards the pursuit of individualized pleasure within sexuality, diverging from conventional notions of stable relationships. This transformation is notably propelled by societal shifts, including increased moral permissiveness and widespread adoption of digital technologies, notably dating applications and websites. In this milieu, the current study aims to investigate the influence of reggaetón on the sexual attitudes and behaviors of Generation Z individuals, particularly regarding their perceptions of romantic relationships, gender roles, and sexuality. Through a comprehensive literature review, this inquiry illuminates the profound impact of music, specifically reggaetón, on the construction of sexual identity and attitudes towards sexuality among young adults. The findings underscore the significant role played by reggaetón in shaping the perceptions of youth concerning relationships and sexuality, primarily through its lyrical content, which frequently glorifies the objectification of women and promotes toxic masculinity. Furthermore, the visual elements accompanying reggaetón further reinforce these messages, thereby influencing the way in which young individuals conceptualize and engage in interpersonal relationships. In conclusion, the study emphasizes the pressing need for artists and the music industry at large to acknowledge and embrace their ethical responsibility in promoting representations of sexuality.
       
  • The fake news during the chilean social outbreak and the role of fact
           checking against disinformation

    • Abstract: Resumen El objetivo de esta investigación es conocer el impacto que generan las noticias falsas en la percepción política y el pensamiento crítico de ciudadanos que se informan a través de redes sociales durante el estallido social en Chile y el valor de los nuevos medios independientes de fact checking creados durante el mismo periodo. La metodología es mixta con alcance exploratorio, pues se creó un instrumento que permitió evaluar el conocimiento de 95 sujetos de la Región del Biobío, Chile que leían y clasificaban una noticia como verdadera o falsa. Los principales hallazgos del estudio develan que los participantes consideran que compartir noticias falsas es una acción peligrosa, y, además, creen que estas podrían cambiar el pensamiento político y social. Para concluir, evaluar los procedimientos que utiliza la muestra en relación con sus estrategias para reconocer noticias falsas permite crear instrumentos de evaluación que favorezcan el chequeo de datos y fomentar la alfabetización mediática, pues los criterios de verificación por parte de usuarios activos en redes sociales son bajos, lo que demuestra cierta credibilidad en lo que se publica sin cuestionar las fuentes de donde provienen los datos ni asumir los riesgos de difundir información que puede ser falsa.Abstract The objective of this research is to understand the impact generated by fake news on the political perception and critical thinking of citizens who receive information through social networks during the Social Outbreak in Chile, and to assess the value of new independent fact checking media created during the same period. The methodology employs a mixed approach with an exploratory scope, involving the creation of an assessment tool used to evaluate 95 subjects from the Biobío Region, Chile who assessed and categorized a news item as true or false. The primary findings reveal that participants perceive sharing fake news as a perilous action, and they hold the belief that fake news has the potential to alter political and social ideologies. In conclusion, assessing subjects' strategies for identifying fake news allows for the development of evaluation tools that promote data verification and enhance media literacy. This becomes crucial as the criteria for verification among active social network users are often low, indicating a level of credibility in published content without thorough scrutiny of data sources or acknowledgment of the risks associated with disseminating potentially false information.
       
  • Virtual curricular experience of Psychological Intervention, formative
           research, and social responsibility: Perceived learning in university
           students

    • Abstract: Resumen La educación superior durante la pandemia asumió el reto de adaptar sus contenidos formativos al entorno virtual con consecuente logro de aprendizajes efectivos; en este contexto, se planteó evaluar la percepción de aprendizajes en una asignatura, de intervención psicológica, investigación formativa y responsabilidad social en una muestra no probabilística de 277 estudiantes de psicología de 19 a 48 años, mediante el método mixto y el diseño no experimental, con la Escala de Aprendizajes Percibidos en la Experiencia Curricular Programas de Intervención en Psicología y tres preguntas abiertas. Los resultados reflejan una valoración alta de la estructura del curso y del rol docente al 67.4% y 70.8%; mayor percepción de aprendizajes en estudiantes de universidad privada (U= 9414.000 y p=0.001); ninguna distinción según sexo, edad u ocupación y el análisis cualitativo reconoce el reforzamiento de la creatividad, la adquisición de liderazgo y competencias teórico-prácticas, sumado a una experiencia personal satisfactoria. Estos hallazgos revaloran las experiencias curriculares en la virtualidad, hacia la consecución de objetivos de aprendizaje formativo - profesional en estudiantes de psicología sensible de réplica en diferentes carreras de educación superior.Abstract Higher education during the pandemic assumed the challenge of adapting its formative contents to the virtual environment with consequent achievement of effective learning; in this context, it was proposed to evaluate the perception of learning in a subject of psychological intervention, formative research and social responsibility in a non-probabilistic sample of 277 psychology students from 19 to 48 years old, using the mixed method and non-experimental design, with the Scale of Perceived Learning in the Curricular Experience of Intervention Programs in Psychology and three open-ended questions. The results reflect a high evaluation of the course structure and the teaching role at 67.4% and 70.8%; higher perception of learning in private university students (U= 9414.000 and p=0.001); no distinction according to sex, age or occupation and the qualitative analysis recognizes the reinforcement of creativity, the acquisition of leadership and theoretical-practical competences, added to a satisfactory personal experience. These findings revalue the curricular experiences in virtuality, towards the achievement of formative-professional learning objectives in psychology students who are sensitive to replication in different higher education careers.
       
  • Social networks management and the new millenial digital consumer in a
           city of Perú

    • Abstract: Resumen La gestión de redes sociales ha experimentado una notable evolución, convirtiéndose en un elemento fundamental en la manera en que las personas se conectan y toman decisiones en línea. En la era actual, las redes sociales se han transformado en espacios esenciales de encuentro, donde tanto marcas como individuos interactúan, colaboran y comparten experiencias. Es por esta razón que esta investigación tiene como objetivo principal determinar la relación entre la gestión de las redes sociales y el nuevo consumidor digital millennial en el distrito de Huancavelica, año 2020. Además, se busca conocer si hay relación entre las dimensiones Internet, medios sociales, usuarios y contenidos, y la variable "nuevo consumidor digital millennial". El estudio es de tipo básica, con nivel correlacional, con un diseño no experimental que empleó un muestreo probabilístico y estratificado. La población estuvo conformada por 15998 millennials (personas nacidas entre 1980 y 2000) del distrito de Huancavelica para el año 2020. La muestra fue de 376 millennials, y la recopilación de datos se realizó a través de una encuesta validada por tres expertos en el campo, y se midió la confiabilidad de esta mediante el coeficiente de alfa de Cronbach, dando un 0,831. Los resultados obtenidos revelaron un coeficiente de correlación Rho Spearman de 0.554 con un valor p=0.00> 0,005, lo que indica una relación positiva considerable entre la gestión de redes sociales y el nuevo consumidor digital millennial. Demostrando que, al realizar una gestión más efectiva de las redes sociales, se impulsa la evolución y el manejo de redes sociales por parte del consumidor digital millennial.Abstract Social networks management has undergone a remarkable evolution, becoming a fundamental element in the way people connect and make decisions online. In the current era, social networks have become essential meeting spaces, where both brands and individuals interact, collaborate and share experiences. It is for this reason that the main objective of this research is to determine the relationship between the management of social networks and the new millennial digital consumer in the district of Huancavelica, year 2020. In addition, it seeks to know if there is a relationship between the dimensions internet, media social, users and content, and the variable new millennial digital consumer. The study is of a basic type with a correlational level, with a non-experimental design that used probabilistic and stratified sampling. The population was made up of 15,998 millennials (people born between 1980 and 2000) from the Huancavelica district for the year 2020, the sample was 376 millennials and the data collection was carried out through a survey validated by three experts in the field and Its reliability was measured using Cronbach's alpha coefficient, giving 0.831. The results obtained revealed a Rho Spearman correlation coefficient of 0.554, with a p-value of 0.00, indicating a considerable positive relationship between social networks management and the new millennial digital consumer. Demonstrating that, by carrying out more effective management of social networks, the evolution of the millennial digital consumer is promoted.
       
  • Community philanthropy in Mexico: Emerging narratives of commonality,
           territory and memory

    • Abstract: Resumen En las relaciones entre fundaciones y comunidades se movilizan recursos de distintos tipos y a quienes los reciben se les coloca en una posición asimétrica; el presente estudio busca identificar e interpretar los elementos narrativos que caracterizan las percepciones sobre las prácticas filantrópicas entre comunidades en México; así como caracterizar los elementos narrativos que cuestionan las definiciones hegemónicas sobre filantropía. Con base en tres talleres, donde participaron 70 personas provenientes de 19 estados de la república; se analizaron saberes y percepciones en torno a la definición de filantropía comunitaria, el reconocimiento de las aportaciones diferenciadas entre hombres y mujeres; y el reconocimiento de los tipos de recursos y cómo se movilizan. Las personas participantes de los talleres no se identifican con una definición específica de filantropía comunitaria, sino más bien se hicieron visibles distintas prácticas filantrópicas relacionadas con el trabajo que se realiza en la esfera privada y la pública, los procesos de recuperación de la memoria y el apego al territorio. Se concluye que la visibilización de los recursos que aportan las comunidades, principalmente los intangibles, promueve relaciones simétricas; así como reconocer que las donaciones externas potencian los procesos que ya están sucediendo al interior de las comunidades.Abstract In the relationships between foundations and communities, resources of different types are mobilized and those who receive them are seen in an asymmetrical position; this study seeks to identify and interpret the narrative elements that characterize the perceptions about philanthropic practices among communities in Mexico; as well as to characterize the narrative elements that question the hegemonic definitions of philanthropy. Based on three workshops, with the participation of 70 people from 19 Mexican states, we analyzed knowledge and perceptions regarding the definition of community philanthropy, the recognition of differentiated contributions between men and women, and the recognition of the types of resources and how they are mobilized. The people participating in the workshops do not identify with a generalized definition of Community Philanthropy, but rather different philanthropic practices were made visible related to the work carried out in the private and public spheres, the processes of memory recovery and attachment to the territory. It is concluded that the visibility of the resources contributed by the communities, mainly the intangible ones, promotes symmetrical relationships; as well as recognizing that external donations enhance the processes that are already taking place within the communities.
       
  • Efficiency of public investment in education in Peru, 2016-2022: A
           comparative analysis by region

    • Abstract: Resumen El estudio analiza el nivel de eficiencia técnica de la inversión pública en Educación en el nivel primario y secundario en Perú, 2016 a 2022. Se utilizó el análisis envolvente de datos - DEA y para la asociación entre la dotación de recursos y la calidad educativa, el modelo panel data efectos fijos. Los resultados indican que existen diferencias relativas de eficiencia entre las regiones, registrando una puntuación promedio de 49 % para el nivel primario y 38 % para el nivel secundario, siendo los más eficientes Moquegua, Tacna, Arequipa e Ica, y los menos eficientes Loreto, Huánuco, Ucayali, y San Martín. De la asociación insumo - producto, tamaño del aula, infraestructura en buen estado e inversión pública tienen relación directa, en tanto que alumnos por docente y por computadora, la relación es inversa respecto al logro educativo en comunicación y matemática a nivel primario y secundario. Ello sugiere que las regiones ineficientes deben aumentar en promedio 51 % y 62 % los logros educativos en el nivel primario y secundario respectivamente, manteniendo el mismo nivel de gasto. Por tanto, para mejorar su eficiencia en el marco de políticas públicas, pueden adoptar la gestión implementada por las regiones como Moquegua y Tacna.Abstract The study analyzes the level of technical efficiency of public investment in Education at the primary and secondary level in Peru, 2016 to 2022. Data envelopment analysis - DEA was used and for the association between the provision of resources and educational quality. the panel data fixed effects model. The results indicate that there are relative differences in efficiency between the regions, registering an average score of 49% for the primary level and 38% for the secondary level, with the most efficient being Moquegua, Tacna, Arequipa and Ica, and the least efficient being Loreto, Huánuco, Ucayali, and San Martín. From the input-output association, classroom size, infrastructure in good condition and public investment have a direct relationship, while students per teacher and per computer, the relationship is inverse with respect to educational achievement in communication and mathematics at the primary and secondary level. This suggests that inefficient regions should increase educational attainment at the primary and secondary levels by an average of 51% and 62%, respectively, while maintaining the same level of spending. Therefore, to improve their efficiency within the framework of public policies, they can adopt the management implemented by regions such as Moquegua and Tacna.
       
  • Employment situation of graduates from south american universities: a
           systematic review

    • Abstract: Resumen El estudio analiza la compleja situación laboral de los egresados universitarios en América del Sur, considerando factores como la calidad educativa, la demanda del mercado laboral, habilidades especializadas y adaptación tecnológica. El objetivo es analizar la literatura existente sobre la situación laboral de los egresados de universidades sudamericanas entre 2019 y 2023. Se empleó el método Prisma, seleccionando 30 estudios pertinentes. Los criterios incluyeron estudios en inglés centrados en la situación laboral de egresados sudamericanos, excluyendo otros enfoques. La búsqueda se realizó en Eric, Scopus y Scielo. Los resultados brindaron una comprensión más profunda de las trayectorias profesionales de los egresados y promovieron habilidades para su inserción en un mercado en constante cambio. Los resultados de la situación sistemática permitieron comprender mejor la situación y evolución de las trayectorias profesionales, fomentando habilidades en aras de beneficiar a los egresados en su inserción al mercado laboral. Se concluye que la situación laboral de los egresados fue un desafío que necesitó de una acción colaborativa entre instituciones educativas, gobiernos con el establecimiento de políticas que atendieron el mundo laboral cambiante.Abstract The study analyses the complex employment situation of university graduates in South America, considering factors such as educational quality, labour market demand, specialized skills and technological adaptation. The objective is to analyze the existing literature on the situation of graduates from South American universities between 2019 and 2023. The PRISMA method was used, selecting 30 relevant studies. The criteria included English-language studies focused on the employment situation of South American graduates, excluding other approaches. The search was carried out in ERIC, Scopus and SciELO. The results provided a deeper understanding of graduates’ career paths and promoted skills for their insertion in an ever-changing market. The results of the systematic situation allowed a better understanding of the situation and evolution of professional trajectories, fostering skills in order to benefit the graduates in their insertion into the labour market. It is concluded that the employment situation of graduates is a challenge that needs collaborative action between educational institutions, governments with the establishment of policies that address the changing world of work.
       
  • The application of curriculum design by competences in university higher
           Education: A systematic review 2019-2023

    • Abstract: Resumen El diseño curricular por competencias permite a las instituciones de Educación Superior establecer programas académicos enfocados en el desarrollo de conocimientos específicos y capacidades. El objetivo de esta investigación es analizar la literatura existente sobre la aplicación del diseño curricular por competencias en la Educación Superior durante el periodo 2019 a 2023. Desde esta perspectiva, se empleó el método de revisión sistemática PRISMA, seleccionando 30 estudios que cumplían con criterios específicos de inclusión. Esto posibilitó la síntesis de la evidencia relacionada con la literatura académica a través de la verificación de los estudios seleccionados. La revisión se restringió a investigaciones en inglés centradas en el desarrollo del diseño curricular basado en competencias en el ámbito de la Educación Superior. Además, se excluyeron aquellos estudios que no abordaron de manera específica estos temas. La búsqueda se llevó a cabo en tres bases de datos académicos: ERIC, Scopus y SciELO. Los resultados de la comprobación sistemática proporcionaron información sobre patrones y tendencias emergentes en este campo. Se concluye que este diseño promueve la flexibilidad y adaptabilidad en la formación académica, lo cual capacita a las instituciones para responder a las cambiantes demandas del mercado laboral y la sociedad, asegurando así una educación pertinente y actualizada.Abstract The competency-based curricular design allows Higher Education institutions to establish academic programs focused on the development of specific knowledge and capabilities. The objective of this research is to analyze the existing literature on the application of curricular design by competencies in Higher Education during the period 2019 to 2023. From this perspective, the PRISMA systematic review method was used, selecting 30 studies that met specific inclusion criteria. This made possible the synthesis of the evidence related to academic literature through the review of selected studies. The review was restricted to research in English focused on the development of competency-based curricular design in the field of Higher Education. Additionally, studies that did not specifically address these issues were excluded. The search was carried out in three academic databases: ERIC, Scopus and SciELO. The results of the systematic review provided insights into emerging patterns and trends in this field. It is concluded that this design promotes flexibility and adaptability in academic training, which enables institutions to respond to the changing demands of the labour market and society, thus ensuring relevant and updated education.
       
  • Higher education quality assurance polices: A systematic review

    • Abstract: Resumen La investigación tuvo como objetivo destacar los progresos educativos mediante el análisis de las perspectivas y enfoques de los autores sobre las políticas de aseguramiento de la calidad en la Educación Superior entre 2019 y 2023. Se empleó el método de revisión sistemática PRISMA para identificar 30 estudios de tres importantes bases de datos: ERIC, Scopus y SciELO. Los criterios de inclusión se enfocaron en estudios publicados en inglés, excluyendo aquellos que no se centraban en la Educación Superior y el aseguramiento de la calidad como competencias principales. Los resultados revelaron una complejidad de enfoques en relación con las políticas de aseguramiento de la calidad en la Educación Superior. Estas políticas buscan mejorar tanto la pertinencia como la experiencia educativa. Se destaca la importancia de garantizar estándares de calidad para asegurar que la educación superior cumpla con sus objetivos académicos y sociales. Además, se evidencia la necesidad de adaptar estas políticas a las cambiantes demandas y contextos educativos, así como de promover la participación de diversos actores en su diseño e implementación. El estudio subraya la relevancia de abordar de manera integral las políticas de aseguramiento de la calidad para fortalecer y mejorar su contribución al desarrollo social y económico.Abstract The research aimed to highlight educational progress by analyzing authors' perspectives and approaches to quality assurance policies in Higher Education between 2019 and 2023. The PRISMA systematic review method was employed to identify 30 studies from three major databases: ERIC, Scopus, and SciELO. Inclusion criteria focused on studies published in English, excluding those not centered on Higher Education and quality assurance as main competencies. he results revealed a complexity of approaches regarding quality assurance policies in Higher Education. These policies seek to enhance both relevance and educational experience. The importance of ensuring quality standards to ensure that higher education meets its academic and social objectives is emphasized. Additionally, the need to adapt these policies to changing educational demands and contexts is evident, as well as to promote the participation of diverse stakeholders in their design and implementation. The study underscores the importance of comprehensively addressing quality assurance policies to strengthen and enhance their contribution to social and economic development.
