Abstract: Zusammenfassung Digitale Hilfsmittel wie Navigations- oder Tracking-Apps verändern Bewegung in der Stadt. Digitalisierungsprozesse von Sport- und Bewegungsaktivitäten sind kaum Gegenstand raumwissenschaftlicher Forschungen, gleichzeitig veranschaulichen sie – insbesondere aus Sicht der Stadtplanung – die transformativen Kräfte in Städten an der Schnittstelle von Digitalität, Raum und Bewegungserleben. Denn bisher werden hybride Sportformen in erster Linie sichtbar durch die zunehmende Beanspruchung öffentlicher Räume. Digitale Raumaneignung findet ausgehend von Plattformen, Communities und weiteren Online-Angeboten bereits überall statt. Infolge der Vermischung von online, offline und hybriden Settings stehen nicht nur die Koordination und Gestaltung von öffentlichen Grünanlagen sowie Sportinfrastruktur unter Veränderungsdruck. Es geht darum, ein grundlegendes Vokabular zur Neuorganisation von Bewegungsaktivitäten und Stadträumen zu formulieren. Im Fokus des Beitrags stehen deshalb vor allem Anknüpfungspunkte für die qualitative Raumforschung und Digitalisierungsforschung: Anhand einer bundesweiten Online-Befragung (n = 861) werden Eigenschaften für sportaffine Heranwachsende (Altersgruppe 15–19 Jahre, n = 128, und Altersgruppe 20–24 Jahre, n = 152) mittels der folgenden Kategorien vorgestellt: Akteur*innen, digitale Hilfsmittel, Sport‑/Bewegungsformen, Orte und Infrastrukturen, Angebote und Aktivitäten. Die systematische Stichprobe kombiniert Ergebnisse aus Gruppendiskussionen (n = 31) mit Akteur*innen aus der Plattformökonomie, Sportunternehmen, Verwaltungen und Zivilgesellschaft. Diese Analyse der Raumproduktion Heranwachsender stößt Fragen zum Einfluss der Digitalisierung auf soziale Prozesse sowie zu sich verändernden Orten und zukünftiger Planung an. Schließlich werden Einblicke in die alltäglichen Sporterlebnisse der eher informellen Lebenswelt von Jugendlichen sowie jungen Erwachsenen für ein transdisziplinäres Forschungsfeld offeriert. Innerhalb einer vielschichtigen Gemengelage bietet der Beitrag einen Überblick anhand eines erneuerten und gegenwartsnahen Kategorisierungssystems hybrider Sport- und Bewegungswelten für Forschung und Praxis an.

Abstract: Zusammenfassung Jugend und Sport (J + S) ist das größte Schweizer Sportförderungssystem und vereint in einem staatlich subventionierten und inhaltlich regulierten Ausbildungssystem über 90 Sportarten. Um die Qualität der Sportaktivitäten zu gewährleisten, bedarf es einer ansprechenden und qualitativ hochwertigen Ausbildung von J + S-Leiter*innen. Im J + S-Ausbildungsmodell werden im Handlungsbereich „Vermitteln“ Ausbildungsinhalte zu qualitätsvollen J + S-Aktivitäten an die Leitenden weitergegeben, welche sich eng am aktuellen Forschungsstand der Unterrichtsqualitätsforschung orientieren. Zur systematischen Evaluation dieses Handlungsbereichs in der Praxis wurde das J + S-Evaluationsinstrument entwickelt. Damit sollen die an J + S-Aktivitäten teilnehmenden Kinder und Jugendlichen mittels Fragebogenitems zu vier Handlungsbereichen digital befragt werden. Aufbauend auf drei qualitativen Pilotstudien wurde eine schweizweite quantitative Validierungsstudie durchgeführt. Es wurden zwei Umfragen mit N = 1230 (53,7 % weiblich; M = 13,99 Jahren, SD = 2,36) und N = 851 (53,7 % weiblich; M = 13,96 Jahren, SD = 2,18) Kinder und Jugendlichen durchgeführt. Zur Prüfung der faktoriellen Validität und Reliabilität des entwickelten J + S-Evaluationsinstruments wurden konfirmatorische Faktoranalysen (CFA) berechnet. Die CFA ergaben nach systematischer Itemreduktion durchgehend eine gute Modellanpassung. Alle vier Handlungsbereiche mit ihren 17 Handlungsempfehlungen konnten mittels 51 Items valide und reliabel abgebildet werden, sodass das Evaluationsinstrument als valide und reliabel bewertet werden kann. Damit steht ein validiertes Evaluationsinstrument in deutscher, französischer und italienischer Sprache zur Verfügung, das zukünftig jährlich in der Schweiz in J + S-Aktivitäten eingesetzt werden kann.

Abstract: Abstract Aquatic skills have been defined as important life-saving skills in Finland, because of it’s thousands of lakes. Finnish national core curriculum includes objectives for pupils’ swimming skills and, therefore national survey is implemented regularly. The latest survey implemented in spring 2022 to measure 6th graders (n = 1798) and preschoolers (n = 222) perception of their swimming skills. The results revealed decline in 6th graders’ skills. There were approximately 55% of 6th graders reporting to be able to swim 200 m, including 50 m swimming on the back. Moreover, the survey revealed gender differences showing that 60% of boys, 51% of girls and 40% of non-binary genders achieved the 200 m criteria. These gender differences have not found earlier. In 2022 survey included preschoolers (6 yrs) first time. The results showed that preschoolers have positive attitude towards water, and they perceive their aquatic competence positively. This starting point should be utilized in swimming lessons by including swimming already as part of preschool curriculum. The Covid pandemic reduced the amount of swimming lessons. Therefore, it can be assumed that a new generation of pupils with poor swimming skills is now growing. There is need to ensure water safety by compensating the lack of swimming skills. Practically it could mean starting annual swimming lessons from preschool.
