The researcher adopted the descriptive approach in the survey method and case study. The research community was represented by wheelchair basketball players, whose number is (84) players, and the scale building sample of (40) players was randomly selected and the survey sample numbered (19) players, while the number of the main research sample (the application sample) was (25) players, The researcher used the questionnaire, tests and measurement as measuring tools, and the measure of the motivations of the players to practice wheelchair basketball was prepared, after determining some of its dimensions by presenting the special questionnaire to a group of experts and specialists, as four dimensions were identified (health and physical motives, and social motives. And personal motives, and psychological motives), and the scale paragraphs amounted to (28) paragraphs distributed on the four dimensions, and alternatives answered according to a triple scale (agree, hesitant, disagree). Treating the results by appropriate statistical means. According to the results, the researcher concluded several conclusions, the most important of which is that the members of the research sample have good grades in the scale of some of the motives of the players to practice wheelchair basketball, in addition to the presence of moral differences between some of the motives of the players to practice wheelchair basketball, and one of the most important recommendations is to emphasize the need for Interest in some of the motivations of players to play wheelchair basketball.

  • The effect of two educational programs for the techniques of strategic
           thinking to teach the ...

    • Abstract: The aim of the research is the following:-       Designing a program that includes two techniques of strategic thinking of the game of chess and revealing the impact of the program on the development of reflective thinking.    Regarding the research methodology, the researchers used the experimental method for its suitability and the nature of the research. The community of the research represented in age class (13-14) in the city of Mosul, the number of boys were (40750) and the number of girls were (28478) and their total (69228). The researchers adopted the age group of boys as the research community. By the method of drawing lots, the Leaders Secondary School was named as a center for conducting exploratory experiments related to research variables, and Al-Awael Secondary School for conducting an experimental research experiment, as the research sample consisted of (60) students. Then this sample was divided into two groups by lot, each group comprising (30) students, then the two researchers randomly named the two groups also according to the two techniques of strategic thinking, as the number of students in the first experimental group that studies according to the technique of thinking from all directions reached (30) students, while the number of students in the second experimental group that teaches according to the art of thinking scenarios reached (30) students, and (8) students were excluded from the first experimental group and (3) students from the second experimental group due to lack of commitment to the program’s lessons. The total of data members after excluding were (49) students, regarding the experimental design, the two researchers adopted the design of the corresponding groups, and the two researchers conducted the equivalence between the two research groups, the homogeneity of the variance in the dependent variables (aspects of attention, multiple intelligences, and contemplative thinking). Education for both experimental groups, according to their own techniques, by (20) educational units. Then the post-test in reflective thinking was conducted on the research sample in order to obtain the raw data that were statistically treated through the percentage to determine the percentage of experts'''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''' agreement, the simple correlation coefficient, Spearman - Brown coefficient, the arithmetic mean, the standard deviation, Levine test, the T- test for two independent samples The T-test for two linked samples, and the statistical package (SPSS) was used to conduct statistical analysis. The results showed the convergence of the impact of each of the strategic thinking program according to thinking techniques from all directions and the strategic thinking program according to the technicality of thinking scenarios in developing reflective thinking (visual vision, disclosure Fallacies, reaching conclusions, giving explanations, developing suggested solutions, and the overall score).                                            In light of the results and conclusions of the research, the researchers recommend the following:                                                                                                    -       Adopting the educational content of the game of chess as a basic material for middle schools for directorates of education.                                                     -       Adopting both the strategic thinking program according to the technique of thinking from all directions and the strategic thinking program according to the art of thinking scenarios in teaching the educational content of the game of chess.Adopting the educational methods used in research in teaching the educational content of the game of chess

    • Abstract: The study carried out by the two researchers aimed to identify the degree of psychological endurance among students of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Mosul in general, and the research sample consisted of (186) male and female students, from the second, third, and fourth year students. The researchers used the descriptive approach for its suitability with the nature of the current research, and the researchers presented the psychological stress scale prepared by (Al-Dosky, 2017), to a group of (21) experts and specialists in the field of educational psychology, sports psychology, measurement and evaluation. , The researchers obtained an agreement rate of (80%) on the validity of using the scale in the current research, and the opinions of some experts with precise specialization in the field of sports psychology were taken, where the researchers reformulated some paragraphs and adapted them to suit the current research sample. Without this modification affecting or disturbing the general meaning of the paragraph, and after conducting scientific transactions, the validity of the scale was extracted using the apparent validity method, and its stability was confirmed using the Alpha-Kornbach method. Psychological endurance, and after collecting and unloading the data, the researchers analyzed them statistically using the statistical analysis program (SPSS). Mosul are characterized by a high degree of psychological endurance in general, and the researchers recommended the necessity of paying attention to the psychological aspect through activating and teaching psychology from the first school year to the fourth academic year of the university stage and giving it great priority and attention, and it is worth noting that this study was conducted during the extended time period (From 11/26/2020 to 23/4/2021)

    • Abstract: The aim of the search is that:- Identifying the distribution of simple inferential statistical methods used by master's students in the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Mosul, according to their scientific orientations.- Recognizing the relevance of statistical methods (simple descriptive and inferential and advanced inferential) used for the standards that must be available in the researches of master's students in the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Mosul. The researchers used the descriptive analytical and documentary method, and the sample consisted of master’s theses in the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Mosul, which numbered (167), while the researchers developed a list of criteria, on the basis of which the research tool was developed, which is the analysis card, while the statistical means included repetition and percentage. The most important results of the research included:- The simple inferential statistics methods were arranged in terms of use (two independent samples t-test, one-sample analysis of variance, one-sample t-test, t-test for related samples and KA2-test for two independent samples, Fisher LSD test, Duncan test, Z-test, Shiv test, correlation coefficient partial, Kolmokrov-Smirnov test), respectively.- Compatibility (Z-test, Kolmokrov-Smirnov test, Fisher L.S.D test, Duncan test, Scheffe test) and established criteria, which means the accuracy of their use. The simple inferential statistics methods (two independent t-test, one-sample analysis of variance, one-sample t-test, correlated samples t-test and Ka2 test, partial correlation coefficient, Kolmokrov-Smirnov test) showed their inappropriateness to some of the criteria set for use.
