  • Slogan Examples and Analyzes of Football Clubs in Europe

      Abstract: The aim of this study is to examine examples and analyses of slogans of football clubs in Europe. In this study, the slogans of a total of 21 football clubs in Spain, England, Germany, Türkiye, Portugal, France, and the Netherlands leagues were analyzed using document review method. As a result of the analysis, it was noted that the slogans of football clubs in Spain emphasize the bond between the team and the fans, clubs in England use slogans reflecting their historical influences and bold football approach, clubs in Germany prefer slogans emphasizing discipline and culture, and Turkish clubs focus on themes of loyalty and support. Additionally, it was stated that clubs in Portugal address themes of inclusivity and resistance, clubs in France emphasize their connections with the city, and clubs in the Netherlands emphasize unity and solidarity. As a conclusion, it was observed that the slogans of football clubs highlight their cultural characteristics and differences, and they use slogans that emphasize the features that distinguish them from others.

  • A Study on Future Expectations and Motivations for Participation in
           Recreational Sports of Young Adults after the Earthquake

      Abstract: The aim of this study was to investigate the expectations of young adults about the future and their motivation to participate in sports after the earthquake. 420 people voluntarily participated in the study. In the study, personal information form, Adolescent Future Expectations Scale adapted into Turkish by Tuncer (2011), professional maturity scale developed by Kuzgun and Bacanlı (2019), Multidimensional Perceived Social Support Scale used to measure perceived social support developed by Zimet et al. (1988), and Sports Participation Motivation Scale adapted into Turkish by Oyar et al., (2001) were used to obtain data. As a result of the analysis, it was determined that the independent variables explained 6% of young adults' expectations about the future and their motivation to participate in sports. Age (β= .226 p<0.05), Have you experienced an earthquake before' (β= -.113 p<0.05) and Have you lost your relatives' (β= -.155 p<0.05) were found to have a significant effect on young adults' expectations about the future and motivation to participate in sports after the earthquake. When the R2 value was analyzed, it was determined that it explained 8% of the participants' expectations about the future and their motivation to participate in sports. The items Have you experienced an earthquake before' (β= .157 p<0.05) and Have you lost your relatives' (β= -.151 p<0.05). It was determined that the items were statistically significant for the expectations of young adults about the future and their motivation to participate in sports after the earthquake. As a result, it was determined that the future expectations of young adults after the earthquake and their motivation to participate in sports after the earthquake were at a significant level, the motivation of young adults increased with recreational sports after the earthquake and they looked at the future more positively.

  • Examining The Impact of Participation in Recreational Sports Activities on
           The Quality of Life of Visually Impaired Women

      Abstract: This research aims to investigate how participation in sports and recreational activities among visually impaired women impacts their quality of life. Qualitative research method was preferred to achieve this goal. In this qualitative study, the phenomenological approach was utilized. Purposeful sampling method was chosen for the study group. The study population consisted of visually impaired women over the age of 18 who actively participated in sports and recreational activities, while the study group consisted of a total of 28 visually impaired women living in Batman, Diyarbakır, Kayseri, Bayburt, Istanbul, Aksaray, Ankara, Denizli and Samsun provinces. The data of the research were analyzed using descriptive and content analysis methods. As a result of the analysis of interviews conducted with the participants, four main themes were identified: 1) psychological health, 2) physical health, 3) social relationships, and 4) environmental conditions. Within these four main themes and their sub-themes, the effects of sports and recreational activities on the quality of life for visually impaired women were determined.
