- Study of the reaction of the choice of combat athletes using computer
technology Authors: Vyacheslav Romanenko, Svitlana Piatysotska, Yuriy Tropin, Łukasz Rydzik, Valerii Holokha, Natalia Boychenko Pages: 97 - 103 Abstract: Purpose: to develop a methodology for evaluating the reaction of the choice of combat athletes using computer technologies and to conduct research on testing and determining its validity. Materials, participants and methods: the total number of participants in the study was 77 people (mean age: 13.8±0.7 years, 28% girls, 72% boys). To evaluate the choice reaction, the computer program «Visuomotor Choice Reaction» for mobile devices was developed and implemented. The following methods have been studied: analysis of scientific and methodological information and Internet sources; summarizing best practices; computer programming method; methods of mathematical statistics. Results: the study was carried out in three stages. At the first stage, the correspondence of the selected colors and shapes to the tasks that should be solved during the test was determined. Measuring the speed of response to a single color and to individual shapes showed that the values are evenly distributed, the range of variation for the response to color was 50,7 ms, and the response to shapes was 133,4 ms. At the second stage, indicators of the reaction of choice were obtained and the operation of the computer program was tested in the "field conditions". The practical application of the program made it possible to obtain indicators of the reaction of the choice of taekwondo novice athletes and determine the stability of its work. The obtained data of the third stage determined the reliability and validity of the proposed method for assessing the reaction of choice. Conclusions: based on the analysis of scientific and methodological literature and the competitive activity of martial artists of various specializations, conversations with coaches and qualified athletes, a computer program «Visuomotor Choice Reaction» was developed to assess the choice reaction. According to the results of the study of the reaction of choice of taekwondo novice athletes using the proposed methodology, in order to test it, it can be argued that the «Visuomotor Choice Reaction» computer program allows you to obtain indicators of sensorimotor reactions, is simple and reliable when using it. According to the results of the correlation and dispersion analysis, it can be argued that the proposed method for assessing the choice reaction is reliable and has a significant level of validity and meets all metrological requirements. - Influence of the functional class of Paralympic cross-country sit-skiers
on the effectiveness of competitive activity (on the example of the sprint distance) Authors: Maksym Mishyn, Liudmyla Pavlenko , Miroslawa Cieslicka, Oleg Kamaiev, Larysa Taran Pages: 124 - 132 Abstract: Purpose: to determine the value of the functional classification and its influence on the result of the competitive activity of Paralympic cross-country sit-skiers. Material and methods: to solve the problems of the study, the data of 164 Paralympic cross-country sit-skiers were analyzed, including 98 men and 66 women, participants of the Winter Paralympic Games, namely: Sochi 2014 – 47 athletes (24 men and 25 women) PyeongChang 2018 – 61 men and 25 women), Beijing 2022 – 56 athletes (38 men and 18 women) with a functional class LW10-12 and are representatives of the sitting category, performing in the sprint ski race. During the study, the following methods were used: theoretical analysis of scientific and methodological literature and Internet sources, generalization of best practices, analysis of protocols and videos of competitive activity, methods of mathematical statistics. Results: changes were revealed in relation to representatives of different classes in the final round of the sprint ski race among athletes of the sitting category: Sochi 2014: men – LW10 – 1 and LW12 – 5, women – LW11 – 2 and LW12 – 4; PyeongChang 2018: men – LW11.5 – 1 and LW12 – 5, women – LW11 – 1 and LW12 – 5; Beijing 2022: men LW10 – 2, LW11.5 – 1 and LW12, women – LW10 – 1, LW10.5 – 1, LW11.5 – 1 and LW12 – 3. Conclusions: it has been proven that one of the topical issues in holding competitions among athletes with disabilities is the classification process aimed at fair competition between athletes, despite their individual functional capabilities; despite this, modern research proves that there are some factors that affect the result of competitive activity, but which are not taken into account by the classification system; the modern classification strategy is aimed at improving this process (percentage system), which helps to increase the competitiveness of representatives of all classes included in the sitting category. - Changes in Counter Movement Jump Height, Take-off Force and Maximum
Concentric Power of Collegiate Athletes After Two Sessions Per Week Plyometric Training on Different Training Surfaces Authors: Poli Borah, Lakshyajit Gogoi, Hemantajit Gogoi, Karuppasamy Govindasamy, Sambhu Prasad, Tadang Minu, Koulla Parpa, Abderraouf Ben Abderrahman Abstract: This study aimed to examine the effects of two sessions per week plyometric training on different surfaces on the counter movement jump height, take-off force, and maximum concentric power of collegiate athletes. Male athletes (n=24) from a physical training centre were randomly and equally assigned to three groups, each trained on different surfaces (synthetic, cinder and sand). The training intervention was implemented twice a week and lasted for 8 weeks. The athletes were tested before and after the intervention to assess changes in the performance of counter movement jump height (CMJHT), take-off force (CMJTOF) and maximum concentric power (CMJMCP). Results showed that overall measurement of CMJHT, CMJTOF and CMJMCP improved significantly (p≤0.05, Δ %=10.50; p≤0.05, Δ%=11.11; p≤0.05, Δ%=11.41). However, training surfaces have no significant effect on the improvement of the selected variables (CMJHT:F(2,21)=2.37, p=0.118, ηp2=0.184; CMJTOF:F(2,21)=1.28, p=0.299, ηp2=0.109; CMJMCP:F(2,21)=0.061, p=0.941, ηp2=0.006). Further, for the synthetic track surface group CMJHT, CMJTOF and CMJMCP improved significantly (p≤0.05, Δ%=16.36; p≤0.05, Δ%=17.50; p≤0.05, Δ%=17.99); for the cinder track surface group CMJHT and CMJMCP improved significantly (p≤0.05, Δ%=9.15; p≤0.05, Δ%=10.33) and for the sand surface group only CMJHT improved significantly (p≤0.05, Δ%=5.68). The findings suggest that plyometric training on different surfaces can effectively improve athletic performance, but the specific surface type does not appear to impact the outcomes significantly. The study further suggested analysing the injury risk associated with plyometric training on various training surfaces and discovering the optimal training surface for minimising injury risk while maximising performance gains. - Study of the psychomotor abilities of athletes in cyclic sports, martial
arts and esports Authors: Світлана Abstract: Purpose: to conduct a comparative analysis of psychomotor abilities in athletes of cyclic sports (short track), martial arts (karate, taekwondo) and esports (CS:GO). Materials, participants and methods: The study involved athletes of percussion martial arts (n=10, age 18,9±0,12, candidates for master of sports), elite players of semi-professional CS:GO teams (n=10, age 19,2±0,50), short track speed skaters (n=10, age 19±0,09, masters of sports). The choice reaction time, the frequency of local movements (60-second tapping test), and the reaction time to a change in the size of the object (Size-test) were determined. Research results. Esports athletes have the best reaction time of choice and tapping test compared to other athletes. The wrestlers showed the best reaction to distinguishing the size of an object in the Size-Test. Skaters have high rates of complex reaction time and frequency of movements. The duration of the tapping test has a likely inverse relationship with the frequency of tapping. Conclusions. It was found that esports athletes have a significantly better choice reaction time (p<0,05) than martial arts athletes. The results of short track skaters do not have significant differences with martial arts and esports athletes (p>0.05). The results of the tapping test in terms of the total number of movements and the average number for 5 s in esports athletes tend to be higher compared to short track speed skaters and martial arts athletes. The fastest response time to a change in the size of an object in the Size-test was shown by martial arts athletes, the slowest by short-track skaters. This reflects the trend towards better results of this type of reaction in martial arts athletes compared to short track speed skaters and esports athletes Key words: choice reaction time, tapping test, Size-test, martial arts, sports, short track Issue No: Vol. 26, No. 4

- CONSTRUCTION OF A 100-METRE RUN DYNAMICS MODEL FOR GROUPS WITH DIFFERENT
STUDY PROGRAMS. ITS DYNAMICS AND FORECASTS Authors: Віталій Гринько Abstract: Abstract. Purpose: to experimentally find out whether aerobic classes included in the program of sports-oriented table tennis groups of a higher educational institution have an effect on the speed of students (100m run) and to investigate the need to include these classes in the physical education curriculum Materials: 106 first-year students participated in the experiment (53 – control group and 53 – experimental). Results: at the end of the experiment (May), the results of the students of the experimental group were qualitatively different from the results of the students of the control group. The results of the experiment indicate the need to include aerobic classes in the curriculum for physical education of students in sports-oriented groups, in particular (sectional classes) table tennis. The experimental program combines a training program with a sports orientation (sectional classes) in table tennis - 75% of the total and aerobic classes (cross training and basic aerobics) - 25%. Conclusions: this experiment proved that the development and inclusion of table tennis, aerobic classes (cross training and elements of basic aerobics) in the educational program with a sports focus (sectional classes) had a better effect on students' running of the 100m distance. In addition, the method of exponential smoothing makes it possible to predict future results. One of the advantages of the calculation method proposed in the article is that fractal analysis allows you to detect stochastic (random) time series. There is no long-term statistical dependence in such time series. Also in the work, a fractal analysis of the time series for the dynamics of the “100m Run” exercise was made and it was established that they belong to anti-persistent time series that can be predicted. The relative error of the theoretical and actual values of the dynamics of the “100m Run” exercise, which does not exceed 10%, was calculated. Issue No: Vol. 26, No. 4

Also in the work, a fractal analysis of the time series for the dynamics of the "100m Run" exercise was made and it was established that they belong to anti-persistent time series that can be predicted. The relative error of the theoretical and actual values of the dynamics of the “100m Run” exercise, which does not exceed 10%, was calculated. Issue No: Vol. 26, No. 4
- Training Needs Of Physical Education Teachers In Jordan And Its
Relationship To Some Variables Authors: mohammad al-momani Abstract: The study aimed to identify the training needs of physical education teachers in Jordan and its relationship to some variables Academic qualification and experience, where the descriptive approach was used in addition to the use of the questionnaire as a tool for the study, which was applied to a sample of (285) male and female teachers in the second semester of the academic year (2021-2022 AD), where the study, after conducting the necessary statistical treatment, concluded that Physical education teachers in Jordan consider that they need to be trained in each of the skills studied in this study, which are: teaching planning, classroom management, classroom environment, building assessment tools and employing strategies; The study also found that there are no statistically significant differences in the training needs of physical education teachers in Jordan, which are attributed to the study variables, namely gender, academic qualification and experience Issue No: Vol. 26, No. 4
- the Nutritional Behavior and its Relationship with Obesity in Down's
Syndrome Children Authors: houssam eddinne ababsa, bachir Kerroum Abstract: Abstract: Down's syndrome children suffer from many diseases, as a result of the nature of their body composition and physiological and morphological features. One of these diseases is the severe obesity; it obstruct the work of various functional organs and sometimes it curbs their work....., When looking for the causes of obesity in this category, we find that most of them are acquired from negative daily practices, because the "Down's Syndrome" patient shares with the community many nutrition problems, such as the frequent intake of simple starches and sugars, the lack of vegetables and fruit in daily food, and the frequent intake of fast food. If these dietary habits constitute a health risk to everyone, their risk is higher in the case of Down's syndrome, because this category has more preparedness for obesity than others. So, this study came to reveal the nature of the relationship between dietary behavior and obesity in Down's Syndrome children. We used in it the dietary behavioral scale and the In Body device, to measure fats on a sample of 6 children, through the correlative descriptive method. We concluded that there is a strong positive relationship between the fluctuation of the nutritional behavior and obesity among Down's Syndrome children. Keywords: Down's Syndrome ; Obesity ; Nutritional Behavior. Issue No: Vol. 26, No. 4

- The technique of elite athletes specialized in 50 km race walk
Authors: Serhii Sovenko Abstract: Purpose: to reveal trends of changing the technique of highly skilled 50 km race walkers along with the increase of sports results based on biomechanical characteristics analysis. Material and methods. Technique biomechanical analysis data of the best world and Ukrainian athletes, obtained in the course of studies at 2015–2018 national race walk championships in 50 km and 35 km distances are presented. Biomechanical characteristics of 22 highly skilled athletes (14 males and 8 females) specialized in 50 km race walk (total number of sports results 30) have been determined and analyzed. Results. Improvement of sports result in the men’s 50 km race walk to the world best level occurs mainly at the expense of stride length increase 1.10 m (p < 0.05). Result improvement to the world level from 4:10:00 (S = 0:07:50) to 3:56:27 (S = 0:02:08) mainly occurs at the expense of stride frequency increase to 3.32 stride·s–1 (S = 0.10) at statistically significant differences with indices of the national level athletes (p < 0.01). It has been revealed that in females of the high national level specialized in 50 km race walk (results close to 4:31:37), the indices of stride length and frequency constitute 0.95 m (S = 0.02) and 3.22 stride·s–1 (S = 0.12), respectively. Conclusions. Comparative analysis of race walk technique kinematic characteristics of athletes of different skill levels specialized in 50 km race walk has been conducted. Prospects and directions for improving sports results of potential national team members have been revealed on the basis of comparison with the indices of national team members and elite athletes. A sharp improvement of sports results of female athletes in 50 km race walk during the last few years is noteworthy. It was due to this discipline inclusion in the program of Track and Field World Championships. Issue No: Vol. 26, No. 3
