  • The effect of coaching support behavior on the intrinsic motivation of
           athletes: The mediating role of psychological needs

      Abstract: The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of coaches' supporting conduct on the psychological motivation of athletes. Using the coach self-support scale, the basic psychological needs scale, and the athlete psychological fatigue questionnaire, 450 athletes were surveyed to investigate the effect of coaches' self-support on athletes' mental fatigue and the mediating role of athletes' basic psychological needs. The study indicated that the predictive effect of a sense of autonomy is weaker than that of competence and a sense of belonging when it comes to the perception of autonomous support. Although self-determination theory asserts that self-satisfaction is the most important of the three basic psychological needs, it has a moderating effect on competency and sense of belonging, and the content of choice and self-decision contained in the sense of autonomy, which includes democratic behavior and positive feedback in coaching autonomous support, has a natural consistency. Basic psychological needs partially mediate between coaching autonomy support and intrinsic drive. Among the three fundamental psychological demands, belonging has the greatest effect on internal motivation, followed by competence; autonomy has no significant effect.

  • Educational Psychology and Learning: Does Mental Abilities and
           Self-regulated Learning Influence Learning Performance: A Survey Study on
           Vietnamese Educational Institutions

      Abstract: Uncertain environmental conditions that impact children's cognitive abilities and self-learning capacities have created a number of challenges for student education today. These challenges require the attention of the researchers. Consequently, this paper investigates the influence of cognitive talents and self-regulated learning on students' academic performance in Vietnamese educational institutions. This study also examines the moderating effect of educational psychology on the relationships between mental abilities, self-regulated learning, and learning performance in Vietnamese educational institutions. The article collected primary data from chosen students via questionnaires. In addition to employing the smart-PLS statistical technique to analyze the reliability and validity of the questions and variables, the study also tested its hypotheses. The results suggested that cognitive ability and self-regulated learning favorably influence academic success. The data also demonstrated that educational psychology strongly moderates the relationship between mental talents, self-regulated learning, and students' academic achievement in Vietnamese educational institutions. The article aids in developing regulations for increasing student performance by enhancing their cognitive and learning capacities.

  • Analysis and Countermeasures of related factors of mental health and
           physical exercise of College Students

      Abstract: This paper examines the relationship between college students' mental health and physical exercise, analyzes the beneficial effect of physical exercise on mental health, enhances school physical education and health education, and provides a theoretical foundation for further enhancing college students' mental health. The SCL-90 was used to evaluate "the last week's" mental health condition. There are 90 possibilities on the scale, comprising 10 factors (depression, hostility, psychosis, somatization, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive symptoms, paranoia, terror, interpersonal sensitivity and others). 93% of students in certain colleges have a positive psychological experience of participating in physical activity. According to the t-test, the mental health level of college students who regularly participate in physical activity is much better than that of college students who occasionally and never participate in physical activity (P <0.01). The impact of physical activity on the mental health of college students of different genders varies. Exercise significantly improves college students' mental health; factors such as duration of physical activity, frequency of exercise, and variety of sports significantly impact mental health development.

  • To investigate the contribution of sports performance inventory in Athlete
           performance as a psychological measure

      Abstract: The purpose of this study is to determine the role of sports performance inventories in athlete performance by incorporating the athlete’s emotional control, team orientation, positive attitude, competitiveness, and mental toughness. Indeed, athletes face exterior challenges and internal ones that impair their performance. This study is cross-sectional and utilizes a questionnaire to collect quantitative data. The sample size for this study was 780, based on a response rate of 45% among the respondent population of Jordanian athletes. This study finds that the psychological measures of athlete emotional control, team orientation, and positive attitude have a critical role in improving athletes’ competitiveness and performance. This study is notable because it explored the psychological measures used to collect data from respondents to comprehend the relationship established in the theoretical framework for examining their involvement in athlete performance. Additionally, this work has substantial theoretical and practical implications for athletes seeking to better their performance.

  • The influence of physical exercise on College Students' negative emotions:
           the mediating and regulating role of psychological resilience

      Abstract: This study investigates the detrimental effects of sports culture training on negative emotions in college students, focusing on the mediating and modifying role of mental toughness. According to the "Sports Culture Training Comment Scale," "Negative Emotion Scale," "Self-efficacy Evaluation scale," and "Psychological malleability scale," the hierarchical cluster convenient and quick sampling method was used to investigate 1500 college students, and spSS20.0 and AMOS20.0 were utilized to analyze the mediating effect and the moderating effect, respectively. Positively predicting and analyzing autonomy and stamina while adversely predicting and analyzing depression, anxiety, and stress. Independence and Physical Despair Predict and analyze anxiety, depression, and stress. Regarding the association between physical activity and negative emotions, the mediating effects of independence and psychological resilience contributed 26.78 percent and 31.33 percent, respectively, to the total benefits. Mental exercise's independence and adaptability are crucial in physical activity and unpleasant emotions. Training in sports culture increased college students' self-efficacy and mental toughness and effectively prevented and reduced negative feelings.
