This research is based on a survey of Bank BPR KS where in recent years there has been a high turn-over. Respondents were asked to provide responses related to the factors that influence commitment, namely job involvement and job satisfaction. There were 83 employee respondents who were sampled using the slovin formula. Multiple linear regression analysis was used in this study. The results showed that the variables of job involvement and job satisfaction had a partially significant effect on employee commitment. Based on the results of the F test, it is found that the two variables have a significant effect on employee commitment simultaneously. Based on the test results, the coefficient of determination shows that the effect of the three independent variables on the dependent variable is 58%. While the remaining 42% or influenced by other variables not examined.

  • Employee Performance Based on Leadership and Work Motivation At PT. Astra
           Credit Companies TB Simatupang

    • Authors: Ading Sunarto, Rachel Ryana Loloan
      Pages: 369 - 382
Abstract: This study aims to determine the influence of leadership and employee motivation on employee performance at PT. Astra Credit Companies TB Simatupang either partially or simultaneously. The method in this study is a quantitative method. Data analysis in this study uses validity test, reliability test, correlation coefficient analysis, classical assumption test, linear regression test, coefficient of determination analysis and hypothesis testing. The results showed that leadership (X1) had an effect on work performance (Y), with a simple linear regression equation Y = 15,743 + 0,528X and a significance value of 0.00 < 0.05. The correlation coefficient value is 0.605, which means that leadership (X1) has a strong level of relationship strength to employee performance (Y), with a coefficient of determination of 36.6% and from the t-test the value of tcount> ttable or 7.089 > 1988. Work motivation (X2) has an effect on work performance (Y) with a simple linear regression equation Y = 18,064 + 0.470X and a significance value of 0.00 <0.05. The correlation coefficient value is 0.512, which means that the work motivation variable (X2) has a moderate level of relationship strength on employee performance (Y), with a coefficient of determination of 26.2% and from the t-test, the value of tcount > ttable or 5,552 > 1,988. Leadership and work motivation simultaneously have a significant effect on employee performance with the regression equation Y = 15.638 + 0.515X1 + 0.017X2. The correlation coefficient value is 0.605, which means that leadership (X1) and work motivation (X2) simultaneously have a strong level of relationship strength on employee performance (Y), with a coefficient of determination of 36.6% and from the f test, the value of Fcount > Ftable or 24,849 > 3,100. This means that there is a simultaneous significant influence between leadership and work motivation on employees on employee performance at PT. Astra Credit Companies TB Simatupang.

      Pages: 383 - 390
Abstract: The purpose of this research paper is to determine the development of Apparatus Resources through education and training in the Gowa Regency Secretariat Office Scope viewed from the aspect of competence and motivation. The data sources in this study were obtained by giving questionnaires or questionnaires to respondents at the Gowa Regency Secretariat . The research design used in this study is a quantitative approach. The research used by the researcher is field research, namely by examining directly the object under study. The results obtained from the comparison of the value of sig. to the level of significance: sig. = 0.002 < 0.05. Because sig. < , the training variable partially (individually) has a significant effect on employee performance. the tcount value is 5.075 and the ttable value is known to be 2,000. By comparing between tcount and t - table, it is found that tcount > ttable = 5.075 > 2,000, because the value of t - count is greater than t - table, it can be concluded that the regression coefficient of the motivation variable is significant. And the results obtained from the comparison of the value of sig. with the level of significance: sig. = 0.000 < 0.05. Because sig. < , it can be concluded that H2 is accepted and H0 is rejected, meaning that the regression coefficient on the Motivation variable partially (individually) has a significant effect on Employee Performance s. The coefficient obtained by the tcount is 2.365 and the ttable value is known to be 2,000. By comparing between t - count and t - table , it is found that t-count > t - table = 2.365 > 2,000, because the value of t-count is greater than t - table.

  • Comparative Study of the Use of Objective Tests and T essays D in
           Improving Achievement Learning Indonesian Language

    • Authors: Sutarno Sutarno, Sri Purni Hernawati
      Pages: 391 - 400
Abstract: Educational institutions in Indonesia , so Indonesian is included as one of the fields of study that is taught from elementary school to university, so that the success of its teaching will determine its further development. To find out success can be done in various ways, including through assessment or evaluation activities, both orally and in writing. In general, what teachers do at school is a written test consisting of an objective test and an essay test. The population taken in this study were students of class s XI AK and class XI TKJ. The data collection technique used is the experimental method and the test method, because basically this research will compare two forms of objective tests and essay tests for class XI students of SMK Gita Kirtti I Jakarta. While other methods are helpful. The hypothesis in this research is that learning achievement in Indonesian using objective tests is better than those using essay tests for class XI students at SMK Gita Kirtti I Jakarta for the 2020/2021 academic year. Analysis of the data used is statistical processing techniques, using the t test formula. After the two data obtained are entered into the formula, it can be seen that to = 3.037 with a significance level of 5% t table = 2.093. Meanwhile, with a significance level of 1% t table = 2.861. This means that to is greater than t table, so the hypothesis can be accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that learning achievement in the field of Indonesian language studies by evaluating the form of an objective test is better than the evaluation of the form of an essay test for class XI students of SMK Gita Kirtti I Jakarta.

Abstract: This study aims to determine the effect of brand equity on purchasing decisions in which there are four variables: (1) the effect of brand awareness on purchasing decisions at PT. Sarana Sinar Sulawesi (SSS) in South Sulawesi Province. (2) The influence of brand association of purchasing decisions at PT. Sarana Sinar Sulawesi in South Sulawesi Province. (3) The effect of perceived quality on purchasing decisions at PT. Sarana Sinar Sulawesi (SSS) in South Sulawesi Province. The population in this study were all consumers of PT. Sarana Sinar Sulawesi in 2017, while the sample taken was 100 respondents. The data analysis technique used was multiple regression analysis using two statistical method tests, namely partial test (t test) and simultaneous test (f test). The results of this study indicate that multiple regression analysis, the regression equation Y = 13.342 + 0.100X1 + 0.295X2 + 0.015X3 + 0.198X4 + 4.202 is obtained. Based on statistical data analysis, all variables are valid and reliable. In the classical assumption test, it is stated that all indicators are normally distributed and there is a significant linear relationship between each independent variable and the dependent variable. The coefficient of determination test results shows that 74% of purchasing decisions at PT. Sarana Sinar Sulawesi is influenced by the variables examined in this study.
