Authors:Samia Elviria, M. Zaki, Suhendri Suhendri Pages: 55 - 67 Abstract: The Indonesian Government seeks to invest in digital communications to strengthen Indonesia's tourism industry and position it as a leading tourist destination. Social media enables organizations to provide personalized and engaging information to communities or individuals efficiently and effectively. Therefore, this study aims to discover how the Indonesian government uses social media (Twitter) to create images that can help boost tourism and the economy after COVID-19. This study uses social network analysis to explain information distribution and interaction. This study analyzes social media networks for promoting and branding Indonesian tourism using a qualitative descriptive and theoretical approach. To visualize data analysis, the Nvivo 12 Plus software, specifically the Twitter Sociogram and Netlytics dataset tools, highlights the results of Social Network Analysis regarding interactions using the hashtag #WonderfulIndonesia. According to the study's findings, the Indonesian government uses Twitter as a means of communication and promotion to improve tourism's image or branding, which is likely to be effective. By mentioning the #WonderfulIndonesia hashtag, government accounts promote tourism branding by disseminating information to the public, private sector, and others. The use of social media in large-scale tourism branding activities to attract tourists and improve the nation's economy is usually accompanied by strict management. In addition, support from various stakeholders is needed because it is proven that the government, as a single actor, has limitations in increasing tourism sector revenue through branding. Authors:Amanda Putri, Ahmad Taufiq, Ida Swasanti Pages: 94 - 106 Abstract: The Bojonegoro Regency Government, which is overseen by the Bojonegoro Regency Community and Village Empowerment Service, initiated the creation of the Village Government Administration Information System Application (SIAP DESA). This application can be freely accessed by the public, however, it was discovered that in its implementation the village SIAP application was not completely efficient. Based on initial observations, it was found that many villages had not completed the information in the village SIAP Application. The aim of this research is to determine the efficiency of the Village SIAP Application in realizing public information transparency. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection through interviews, observation and documentation. The research results show that the village SIAP application is not completely efficient. Several factors that underlie this include the Village SIAP Application, there is a menu that has no time limit for uploading files, namely the data menu for the Village Head, Village Apparatus, PAW Members and Legal Products. Furthermore, there is also no time limit for completing data updating, making each village feel more relaxed in updating data in the application. The government's digital update in building the village SIAP application is the right step for efficiency, especially in terms of materials and costs. However, the SIAP Village Application can be said to be fully efficient if the menus are complete, accurate and updated. Therefore, it is important to create a timeline for updating the Village SIAP Application menus to show openness of public information to the community and related stakeholders. Authors:Katerina Bataha, Novie Revlie Pioh, Donald K Monintja Pages: 107 - 120 Abstract: As a border area, Sangihe Islands Regency is interested in implementing toponymy to realize orderly government administration, protect the sovereignty and security of the territory of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia, and preserve cultural, historical and customary values. This study aims to describe and describe the process of implementing toponymy and mapping areas in the Sangihe Regency, along with findings on all matters that influence the implementation of these policies to orderly government administration. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. The results showed that within one year, the government, through the district toponymic work team, proposed 396 topographical names from various elements and standardized 165 topographical names while still paying attention to local wisdom. The district work team focused on collecting data and naming the outermost islands' topographical features to protect Indonesia's border areas. In its implementation, there were several obstacles related to the budget and the number of surveyors and the quality of surveyors. Therefore, the local government and district work teams must commit to providing a toponymy budget for 2023, increasing the number of surveyors and giving training to surveyors for the accuracy of topographical names in the Gazetteer of the Republic of Indonesia as a single reliable and accountable reference and to collaborate or build cross-sectoral synergies.
