Authors:أكرم إبراهيم البراهمية , أ.د. محمد عبد الوهاب حمزة Pages: 1 - 26 Abstract: The study aimed to reveal the degree at difficulties in learning English language reading skill for the first three grades from teacher’s perspective in the capital Amman. To meet the study’s goals, the researchers used descriptive survey-based approach. The sample consisted of (214) female teachers who were chosen randomly. To collect data, a questionnaire of 55 items was developed. Divided into 6 domains: (difficulties related to the content of the textbook, difficulties related to the teacher, difficulties related to the learner, difficulties related to English language and its characteristics, difficulties related to the family and society, difficulties related to evaluation methods). The results showed that the students of the first three grades face and with a high degree, difficulties in learning the reading skill in English language, such as: The focus in the content of the subject on quantity rather than quality, and the lack of teacher competencies in the methods of teaching reading skill, and the presence of similarities in pronunciation between some letters, the study also found that there were no statistically significant differences in the difficulties of learning the reading skill in English language for the first three grades due to the supervisory authority variable. The study recommended providing English language teachers and those interested with a list of the difficulties that the first three grades’ students face in reading to be taken into consideration during the teaching process. It depicts the hegemony of Houthi militia in Yemen. It is an analytical study which interprets the novelist’s literary work The Smile Owner. Moreover, as an instrument of data collection an interview with the novelist has been conducted to shed more light on the novel. This study is based on critical analysis of the literary text, which interprets the real context of violence in Yemen. Violence is a global issue between good and evil, and war and love. Shahrah as many of Yemeni novelists depicted the consequences of violence in their literary platform. The novel represents the situation of Yemen in the ongoing war in Yemen. Hence, the war in Yemen, death, abduction, retaliation and social fragmentation are the main themes of written and spoken Yemeni literature. This paper exposes the horrible implications of the coup led by Houthi Militia backed by Iran against the legal government backed by coalition led by Saudi Arabia and Emirates. Therefore, Fekriah Shahrah in the literary platform to portrayed violence in Yemeni society using the narrated text as a tool to convey the awful war consequences. Authors:د. بشير محمد الحمادي Pages: 38 - 67 Abstract: The study aimed to know the impact of five-dimensional strategic orientation, namely (vision, mission, values, goals, and strategic objectives) on implementing governance principles of (18) banks, which constitute all the banks in Yemen. The analytic descriptive method was followed and the whole survey sampling method was utilized. The respondents were (417) of the administrative leaders concerned with implementing the governance principles of bank. A number of conclusions were reached, notably that strategic orientation has a positive impact on the implementation of bank governance principles; the level of which varies according to the three dimensions (mission, vision and strategic objectives) with a greater impact than those of (values and goals). In addition, the implementation of the principles of governance of Yemeni banks is essential to contribute to the market success and growth for the development of Yemeni economy, and to achieve success in the financial and administrative performance in the banking business in the financial and administrative performance. In the light of the results, it is recommended to increase banks' interest in strategic orientation in all its dimensions, as it has a positive impact on the implementation of governance principles. Besides, the study recommends benefiting from experience exchange, knowledge transferential acquisition among senior, middle and supervisory management in the strategic field as well as implementing the governance principles in banks. Therefore this study aims to measure the existence of occupational and specialized health and safety curricula within different specializations of Sana'a University's educational curricula and plan which might be relevant to this weakness- This study started studying all colleges and sectors curricula's to evaluate and measure the existence of OSH1 curricula, subjects, specializations within the university, and comparing it with suggested check list curricula's which was design upon risk assessment of each section specializations and relevant legalization and standards requirements ,The results indicate a total absence of OSH curricula in the university which justify the weak outputs of the university (graduates), Then a set of recommendations were produced to solve this issue and help developing the university educational system in Yemen. It traces how those women came from different parts of Arab world and how they developed their awareness towards women's issues, though they do not call themselves as 'feminists' at the beginning. The paper aims to study the history of feminism in the Arab world. To show the struggle of the first Arab women feminists. To focus on the crucial issues of women's concern. The paper uses feminist approach as it concerns with women's important issues. The study traces how the Arab feminism started in Egypt and then the other parts of Arab World as Egypt has been the first Arab country to get its independence from the British rule. The concern for women issues started first in the national level as struggle for their independence and after the independence the struggle changed to women issues. The paper concluded by stating that the struggle of Arab women's feminist discourse advocated to significant women's problems like education, work, and the right for suffrage.
