      Abstract: This researcher discuss Pantene conditioner advertisement because within 24 hours this advertisement was witnessed by 950,773 viewers and it was stated by the Pantene Indonesia Senior Brand Manager that product sales increased and made this conditioner product run out everywhere. This research is a qualitative and descriptive research. The researcher uses Roland Barthes' theory to understand the meaning in pantene advertisements and the audience who watches the advertisement for an invitation to buy a product. The Pantene Hair Miracles Treatment Conditioner advertisement tells about uncontrolled emotions due to fatigue, this then affects the social life of Keanu's character. However, after being angry and nagging, no solution was found for his uncontrollable emotions, after discussing with voice over it was found that it could be the source of all his emotions and anger, it was hair that was tired and needed treatment so that it could be recharged. The visuals and audio displayed through the analysis table show that as humans, we have a responsibility to take care of ourselves. Visuals and audio that have been analyzed using Barthes Semiotics also show the importance of not being emotional because emotions will only add to the chaos and not find a solution to a problem. Visuals and audio that have been analyzed in the table of research results also show educational messages about the process of self-improvement.

      Abstract: Friends are peers who participate in joint activities, support each other and share closeness. Stories are often the main plot in a film's storyline. The Yowis Ben film, which has a duration of 1 hour 49 minutes, is based on the Indonesian comedy-drama genre by Fajar Nugros and Bayu Skak, describing the journey of a local band based on the Javanese language in spreading their band name to the national realm. The purpose of this study is to find out how the views of the characters in the movie "Yowis Ben 2" about the values ​​of friendship. This study uses a qualitative research method with Roland Barthes' semiotic approach which is based on reasoning and meaning. The three basic parts of generation are supported by the Denotation, Connotation, and Myth models. The results of this study indicate that the film "Yowis Ben 2" values ​​friendship, among others, caring, solidarity and cohesiveness.

      Abstract: Reporting on the Implementation of Restrictions on Community Activities (PPKM) has become a national issue that is reported by the media which raises pros and cons in the community. This study aims to determine how the analysis of social semiotics on PPKM news on the news site coil.com. Michael Alexander Kirkwood (M.A.K) Halliday's Social Semiotics is included in the Discourse Analysis model which is able to find out how the content of texts, messages are packaged and delivered with three concepts including the field of discourse, discourse involvement, and means of discourse. In this study, the researcher used a qualitative descriptive research method with observation, documentation, and interview data. This study emphasizes seeing the analysis of social semiotics applied by the coil.com site related to PPKM news for the period 21-25 July 2021. The results show that in this study there is an alignment of the media towards the government as seen from the delivery of government programs very well, presenting sources with disproportionate appearance only appear as the main sources from the government in a monologue, and coil.com tries to minimize public disappointment with the choice of the right language style to make readers understand more about the content of the news.

  • JOURNALISTIC ETHICS ON THE USE OF CLICKBAIT BY VODCAST DEDDY CORBUZIER IN
           PACKAGING SEXUALITY ISSUES

      Abstract: This study aims to determine the journalistic ethics of using clickbait by vodcaster Deddy Corbuzier in packaging issues of sexuality. This research was conducted through a qualitative descriptive type approach by identifying the use of clickbait based on the type of clickbait concept according to Biyani, Tsioutsiouliktis, and Blackmer (2016). These types consist of exaggeration, teasing, inflammatory, formatting, graphic, bait and switch, ambiguous and wrong. More than that, this study also identified the dimensions of sexuality according to Argyo Demartoto (2010). In analyzing clickbait practices that indicate a violation of journalistic ethics, the concept of journalistic ethics is used in the book The Elements of Journalism by Bill Kovach and Tom Rosenstiel (2007). Of the ten elements of journalism, there are five elements that are most closely related and become the main subject of research, including: first, obligation to truth, second, first loyalty to citizens, third, verification discipline, fourth, trying to make information interesting and relevant, finally, being able to maintain information that is made comprehensively and proportionately. The results of the study show that the practice of clickbait carried out by #CloseTheDoor Corbuzier Podcast has proven to injure a number of elements of journalistic ethics. This is proven based on the results of observations and interviews with research informants.

  • CONSTRUCTION OF MEANING OF SELF HEALING MILLENIAL MOMS ON INSTAGRAM

      Abstract: ABSTRACT   This research is motivated by the high dynamics of life affecting millennial moms for mental health disorders. So, every millennial moms really has the right to do self-healing or known as self-healing. Today's Digital Era has changed the way millennial moms view self-healing, which is very busy being carried out through Instagram social media with indications of sharing travel, care, shopping, quotes, and pouring out their hearts content. Millennial moms' familiarity with digital media is not in line with literacy skills which are considered to be still at a low level, so that the self-vulnerabilities experienced by millennial moms form an easy attitude to self-diagnose as sufferers of depression, stress and feel the need for self-healing. The purpose of this study is to find out the various meanings of self-healing behavior that millennial moms do on Instagram. The phenomenon of Self Healing Millennial Moms on Instagram can be studied through a phenomenological approach by applying symbolic interaction theory to reveal all the hidden meanings of the symbols depicted through self-healing actions of millennial moms on Instagram. This research also applies purposive techniques as the selection of informants. The data collection technique used in this study was through in-depth interviews, observation and documentation which were then analyzed through the stages of phenomenological research. The results of this study consist of the meaning of self-healing millennial moms via Instagram divided into three points according to the theory of symbolic interaction based on the Mind, namely self-healing as a form of self-healing process, self-pleasing, self-strengthening and self-disclosure. the second point is Self which means as a process of building positive suggestions, comparing oneself, building an image as a victim and the third point is Community, self healing means support.       Abstract: This study aims to find out an overview of the digital broadcasting management model with a case study on the preparation of Analog Switch Off (ASO) or the migration of analog to digital television in Riau Province which will take place on November 2, 2022. The preparation of the Television of the Republic of Indonesia (TVRI) Riau as the manager of digital television multiplexing and the readiness of the community to receive digital television broadcasts in Riau Province are the main focus. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with case study research methods through interviews and observation data collection techniques. The results show that the digital broadcasting management model in Riau Province takes into account several indicators (a). Digital Broadcasting Quality (digital television multiplexing infrastructure), (b). Choice of Broadcast Program (digital television broadcast program) (c). Device Support (digital broadcast receiving device ecosystem – Set Top Box) and (d). Public knowledge (socialization to the community) is still not optimal in an effort to support the preparation for the implementation of Analog Switch Off (ASO) in Riau Province.

      Abstract: The simultaneous regional head elections in 2020 will be the first regional elections to be held during the Covid-19 pandemic. The rules and policies set by the government in tackling the spread of Covid-19 are the biggest challenge for the General Elections Commission as the organizer of the regional election in dealing with the issue of low public interest in attending and exercising their right to vote at polling stations. In increasing voter participation, the Makassar City KPU, which is also the organizer of the regional election, faces this challenge by using a strategy through the use of communication media. Communication media has been widely used to support the implementation of socialization in increasing voter participation in regional head elections. This study aims to analyze the strategy used by the Makassar City KPU in utilizing communication media to increase voter participation in the 2020 Simultaneous Regional Head Elections held during the Covid-19 Pandemic. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method with data collection carried out by observation, interviews and documentation studies. This research conducted The informant selection technique used purposive sampling. The results of this study found that the strategy carried out through the use of communication media by the Makassar City KPU could maximize the implementation of the socialization stages during the pandemic through various forms of social media so as to boost voter interest to participate in the 2020 simultaneous elections.

  • Semiotika Umberto Eco Dalam Representasi Perempuan Film Animasi Disney
           Raya and the Last Dragon

      Abstract: Film is one of the most developed and dynamic forms of mass communication, using various advanced technology devices that are capable of creating animated films. Film is not only used as a medium of entertainment and pleasure, but also can be used to describe the reality that occurs in the real world, including the way women are portrayed. Disney Raya and the Last Dragon film described women as independent, tough, and able to struggle without being accompanied by men, and is different from how women are usually portrayed. This study aims to determine how the representation of women in Disney Raya and the Last Dragon film. This research is a qualitative research using semiotic analysis of Umberto Eco, and feminine and masculine categories according to BSRI. The results show that the representation of women in this film are shown in the appearance, expression, dialogue, gestures, and attitudes, which show the characters of Raya and Namaari who are tough, intelligent, and able to lead and make decisions. And Based on the feminine and masculine categories according to BSRI, various characters found in this film are masculine characters such as act as a leader, competitive, independent, and willing to take risks, while feminine characters are shown in afficionate characters, sympathetic, and yielding.

  • Classes for Pregnant Women as a Medium of Communication for Health Workers
           and Pregnant Women

      Abstract: The Maternal Mortality Ratio (MMR) in Banyumas Regency in 2021 was 44 maternal deaths, equivalent to a rate of 181.09 per 100,000 live births. The MMR target set in the National Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMN) for the period 2019-2024 is 70 per 100,000 live births, indicating that the target has not been achieved in Banyumas Regency. Based on the data on Maternal Mortality Ratio in Banyumas Regency, one of the interventions needed is the implementation of antenatal classes as a communication medium between pregnant women and healthcare providers. Antenatal classes provide pregnant women with increased knowledge about pregnancy, while healthcare providers gain a better understanding of the health conditions of each pregnant woman. The aim of this study is to examine how antenatal classes serve as a communication medium between pregnant women and healthcare providers. The study employed a qualitative descriptive method with purposive sampling to select three healthcare providers from Banyumas Primary Health Centers and five participants from antenatal classes as informants. The research focused on the Antenatal Class Program in Sudagaran Village. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, and analyzed using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman. The results indicate that antenatal classes have been conducted in Sudagaran Village since 2012. As a communication medium, antenatal classes in Sudagaran Village serve as a platform for information dissemination, discussions, as well as education and value instruction for pregnant women in the community.

      Abstract: This study aims to analyze how the role of Ninik Mamak in the distribution of inheritance in the Lubuk Bendahara community, as is known, in Lubuk Bendahara Village there is a so-called Ninik Mamak, Ninik Mamak is the elder or the leader of the tribe. Ninik Mamak has various duties not to regulate the distribution of inheritance that occurs in Lubuk Bendahara Village. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. There are three stages that are passed in this research, namely observation, interview and documentation. based on the results obtained, namely the settlement of inheritance disputes in Lubuk Bendahara was carried out by involving Ninik Mamak. Ninik Mamak's role in the distribution of inheritance is more inclined to be considered or reduce the inheritance conflicts that occur. In the distribution of inheritance in Lubuk Bendahara, conflicts often arise, especially when left in the form of land, and there are quite a number of children left behind, so that there are often fights between siblings. Ninik Mamak's role here is as a mediator or mediator in the perceived conflict
