Authors:İlhama AGAZADE Abstract: Reflecting the life, world, period and time in dramaturgy is more difficult and complex than other genres. In the middle of the 20th century, Alibeyli Hanımana is one of the artists who enriched the Azerbaijani children's theater with her plays. These plays, which are among the valuable examples of children's drama, played an important role in raising the new generation. Alibeyli Hanımana's works stand out with her ideas supporting humanism. The poet has chosen such themes that regardless of the period, her works always look modern and attract attention with their relevance. Most of her plays were written in an allegorical style, conveying her ideas with symbolic names and clues. In describing the literature of the 1960s and 1990s, researchers talked more about the restoration of historical memory and the prominence of national and spiritual values and roots. Alibeyli Hanımana's plays also had the power to meet the demands of the period. The Karabakh problem also worried the poet. Alibeyli Hanımana, by reminding this event with great skill, tried to develop children's thinking, moral and ethical upbringing and to create a sense of patriotism in them. The use of folklore in the drama of Hanımana shows itself widely. The artist preferred to create more romantic games by making use of fairy tales. Her plays enriched children's drama with new ideas and images, which attracted the attention of many readers and spectators, especially plays based on fairy tale motifs. Authors:Fazıla Derya AGİŞ Abstract: This paper investigates the translation of Judeo-Spanish Djoha anecdotes where family members as well as food names are mentioned. The Judeo-Spanish name Djoha is the equivalent of Hodja Nasrettin in Turkish. The Judeo-Spanish anecdotes represent women as clever mothers, wives, and daughters, and address men as fathers, husbands, and sons. A folkloristic cognitive translation and peace teaching method is developed for analyzing these characters’ moral messages. Furthermore, this study deals with the concepts of food and family in Judeo-Spanish anecdotes according to the point of view of the semantic humor hypothesis created by Attardo and Raskin in 1991. As indicated by this hypothesis of verbal and phonetic humor, a joke is made by script oppositions, logical mechanisms, situations, targets, narrative strategies, and linguistic games. This study comprises of the investigations of these in the Judeo-Spanish anecdotes. Thus, this study targets showing that the youngsters living all around the world can be educated in a phenomenal way, theoretically, conceiving the semantic components, prompting humor in the Sephardic anecdotes. The translated texts must reflect the same cultural humor from a folkloristic point of view for this reason, considering that cultural commonalities in humor leads to laughter and happiness, as well as the acquisition of global moral values. Authors:Servet DOĞAN Abstract: Although it was not on the same scale as in the Catholic World and Western Europe, a number of heretical movements developed in Orthodox Russia and troubled the Ordodox Church. In the Orthodox world, the starting points of the heretical movements have generally been in the form of the church hierarchy, the divinity of Jesus, the formalism of establishment religiosity, religious abuse, and refusal to worship icons. Likewise, it was opposed to the Orthodox Church's authority to understand correctly and interpret the Bible. Heretic religious movements in Russia opposed the injustice in society, personal property, the authority of the Church and the state more strongly than the reformist movements in the West. The Russian Orthodox Church and the political authority have struggled with these movements from time to time, resorting to violence and repression. However, the reform movements in the Eastern Christian world were not as large-scale as in the West, nor were they such that they would not cause religious wars that would last for many years. In the same way, there have been no inquisitions and crusades against these religious mevements. Although there have been occasional prosecutions, mass deportations and rarely executions by burning, sometimes the Russian State and the Orthodox Church have gone to get rid of the problem by reconciliation or granting the those movements religious freedoms. Authors:Akpojevbe OMASANJUWA Abstract: The Note addresses the assignment mandated The Gambia Constitution Drafting Committee to prepare a Constitution to replace that of 1997 in response to popular demand. The team of experts assembled by government accomplished the task though with a serious flaw: plagiarism. The legislature however, for other reasons, vetoed the document. With diverse viewpoints on plagiarism and legal maxims, through qualitative analysis, this Note examines where the fault lay by probing what the assignment entails. The action of the drafting Committee left the society confused and without recourse after spending a whooping sum of money on what turned out to be a white elephant project that preserved rather than eliminate well preserved colonial constitutional anachronisms. As no legal remedy exist for both plagiarism and breach of trust, the Note concluded that the fault is not in their stars but in the society that needs to accelerate the pace of educational development to avert a repeat of the incidence. Authors:Esra MATARACI Abstract: Our thoughts shape our words, and our words shape our actions. Sometimes what we see is the source of what we do, sometimes what we hear… In fact, everything changes as soon as we realize it. We learn to walk, talk, play games, read books, in short, how to behave. Our character is formed. Our conceptual world expands. We make sense of what we learn. Good quality children's books have a great role in helping children make sense of what they have learned, acquire reading habits, use their mother tongue correctly, and become aware of the values accepted by the society. The journey of the character in the book also takes the reader to the message. In the reviewed books of Göknil Özkök; friendship, love, struggle, courage, greeting, cooperation, leadership, cooperation, respect, gratitude, joy of life, compassion, belonging, appreciation and hope. In Özkök's books reviewed, "belongingness, being able to hope" are the most prominent values, while "being pushed out (disappeared)" stands out as the opposite value. Authors:Elmira BABAYEVA Abstract: The article provides a comparative analysis of Movlud Suleymanli's "Pear Tree" and Elchin's "Talvar" stories, which belong to the generation of Azerbaijani literature of the 60-70 years. Authors:Mehmet Emin BARS Abstract: One of the greatest curiosities of mankind is to know in advance what will happen in the future. Some experiences have created various beliefs that what will happen in the future can be predicted. Beliefs about learning the future continue to exist among people despite increasing knowledge, rapid technological developments and powerful civilizations. The practices of predicting the future by looking at the states of some objects in nature or the movements in some limbs of people are as old as the history of humanity. These practices have also provided the formation of some branches of science. In Turkish culture, predicting what may happen in the future depending on the movement of any organ in the human limbs has created a type called segirname or ihtilaçname. According to this folk belief, which lacks any scientific basis, no limb twitches/moves by chance. Twitching of a limb indicates an event that will occur in the future. In order to increase the credibility of the segirnames among the people, the interpretations of the movements of the limbs were mostly based on prophets and respected people. There are many examples of segirname in Turkish folk culture. While some of them are based on a single and general interpretation, some are based on the individual comments of many people. Although some of the segirnames have been studied, there are still many unexamined segirnames. In this study, a new comparative segirname copy in the National Library has been examined. As a result of the examination, it has been seen that this copy contains different interpretations from the three comparative twitch samples that have been determined before. The reason for the difference in interpretations is that segirnames lack scientific basis and are reshaped according to the beliefs of the society in which they are located. More accurate information about this species will be obtained by the evaluation of other segirname samples that have not been examined yet. As a result of this, many disciplines such as linguistics, theology, folk medicine, anatomy, sociology, psychology, alternative medicine will be contributed, especially folklore.
