  • Sintesis Suara Bernyanyi Dengan Teknologi Text-To-Speech untuk Notasi
           Musik Angka dan Lirik Lagu Berbahasa Indonesia

      Abstract: Singing is a work of art that can not be separated from human life. It then makes a research about develop the art of singing by technology will brings a useful impact for such a wide aspect of human life. This research is trying to synthesize singing voice with TTS (text-to-speech) technology, as it capability to produce sound with certain pronunciation at certain frequency of sound. Inputs that used in the system are texts of song in TXT format that contain the information of numbered musical notation and lyrics in Indonesian. These inputs will converted to a phonetic transcription, for then synthesize of song voice can done based on the transcription. In general, the system made successfully synthesize song voices with some feature that based on the convention of numbered musical notation. Based on 30 people of respondents, the song voice synthesized has 81.71% of accuracy with 6.24% of deviation standard. The syntax of song text also reputed as a user-friendly convention with only up to 3 times re-compilation done to synthesize 8 bar of song text by each of respondents without any error.

      Abstract: Until now the use of concrete as a building material is still widely used for building structures. It is important to do concrete compressive strength testing as one of the factors to know the quality of a concrete. NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) is a method of solid quality testing without damaging the object. Testing with the NDT method is considered more efficient than the destructive test method. One method for performing NDT testing is by utilizing UPV (Ultrasonic Pulse Velocity).UPV is a method for estimating concrete compressive strength based on the ultrasonic pulse velocity relationship through concrete with the concrete compressive strength itself. UPV testing works by emitting ultrasonic pulses of 40 kHz through concrete to obtain the travel time of the pulse. Then the resulting time will be calculated the value of its speed and then will be converted into concrete compressive strength.Concrete compressive strength measurement system for high-quality concrete using UPV method can be designed by utilizing relation between ultrasonic pulse velocity with concrete compressive strength. Based on the test results, the average error value of concrete compressive strength testing is 3.04% with a maximum error of 6.63%.

  • Pengujian Performa Payload Video UAV untuk Persiapan Implementasi
           pemantauan Kapal Illegal Fishing

      Abstract: The Aeronautics Technology Center of LAPAN develops a maritime surveillance system (MSS) based on an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) application, specifically to support the handling of illegal fishing vessels. This article discusses video payload testing. The test was carried out in the coastal area, Pamengpeuk, Garut, Indonesia on August 31, 2019. This place was chosen to simulate conditions with wind speeds that are similar to operating conditions in the marine environment during the actual implementation of the operation. The payload used has a video recording feature with the ability to zoom-in, zoom-out and locking-target-positions. UAVs fly loiter at an altitude of 300 m - 500 m above sea level while doing video recording and transmitted in real time to the Ground Control Station (GCS). The test results show the payload shows the zoom-in, zoom-out and locking target position features can operate properly. This feature is very useful to meet the needs of illegal fishing operations in the maritime survey system.

  • Fabrikasi Sensor Elektrokimia Berbasis Karbon dan Nanopartikel Perak
           (NPAg) Untuk Mendeteksi Acetaminophen

      Abstract: Acetaminophen (paracetamol) is one of the most heavily used analgesic drugs especially for pain or pain relief. The excess of acetaminophen for the human body produces a bad effects, one of them is a liver disease. In this study, silver nanoparticle (NPAg) is synthesized using Turkevich methods to increase the conductivity or the rate of transfer electron in the carbon’s surface. So, the sensitivity from electrochemical sensors to acetaminophen can be enhanced. The stability test was done by three samples from Ag/AgCl reference electrodes, each of them is 10 – 30 mV, 0,94 – 35 mV, and 20 – 67 mV. Generally, the performing of Ag/AgCl refrence elecrodes can be concluded as fairly stable with voltage less than 100 mV. From the data acetaminophen sample test, the peak of oxidation happens on 0,2 – 0,4 mV session, and the current produced increased significantly. The results of characterization using SEM morphology in NPAg have a smaller pores because of the size of the partical is also big. While the characterization using FTIR produces four kinds of functional groups including C-O, C-H, NO2, and N-H functional groups.

  • Kontrol Tegangan Self-Excited Induction Generator dengan Electronic Load
           Controller Terkontrol PID-GA

      Abstract: Induction generator operation requires reactive power with external contactor. One of induction generator types, SEIG reactive power supplied by capacitor bank connected to generator terminal. SEIG is alternative energy conversion in small area or rural, SEIG has the main disadvantage of poor voltage regulation under various load conditions. ELC combine PID control which is optimized using Genetic Algorithm in order to maintain the stability of the voltage when the load varies. The result shows the SEIG system using ELC with PID-GA control worked to stable voltage in accordance with the standard with voltage tolerance of 10% when load change. The addition of GA to determine the value of the PID parameter where response system better with difference overshoot value start is 70.48%, when decrease load in 5 second by 44.3% and in the 10 second when increase load of 2 kW is 5.96% compared system with PID control without GA optimization.

  • Building an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle for Humanitarian Aid Delivery

      Abstract: When an emergency occurs, immediate responses are needed for the affected areas. Conventional means of transportation often face difficulties carrying supplies to the location in need, especially in severely damaged areas.In this project, a small semi-autonomous unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) was designed and constructed to undertake a representative humanitarian aid mission. The system has a novel hex-rotor design with overlapping propellers. Half of the motors have been turned upside down with a slight overlap between each propeller, hence reducing the total dimension of the system without losing its efficiency. The system is also equipped with a new lightweight servo activated two ring release system, allowing it to carry and release two kilograms of payloads with only small physical force needed.Overall, the system is capable to operate automatically while performing a series of tasks such as navigate waypoints and deliver payloads before returning to base. the system created in this project could deliver two individual payloads of 1 kg each to the pre-destinated target almost autonomously. The system provided promising results that encourage the utilization of UAV for delivering Humanitarian Aid.

  • Screen Printed-Carbon Electrode Modifikasi Bismut untuk Analisis Kadmium
           dengan Voltametri Siklik

      Abstract: Cadmium (Cd) is a heavy metal that has high toxicity. Cadmium levels need to be considered in an environment that can accumulate and can poison all biotic components. In this research measurements of cadmium metal using bismuth-modified carbon screen electrode  used cyclic voltammetry method. The parameters considered are the resolution of the comparative electrodes and the voltage produced from variations in cadmium concentration. The test results prove the stability of three sensors each at a voltage of 3.3 - 4.6 mV, 9.3-11.4 mV, and 27.4 - 29.8 mV. While the results of the cyclic voltammetry characterization test vary depending on the concentration of cadmium. Concentrations of 0.5-100 ng / mL produce an oxidation peak at a current of 2.03 x 10-5 - 5.00 x 10-5 A. These results show a directly proportional relationship between the cadmium concentration and the resulting current.

  • Pengukuran Kecepatan Suara dalam Media Air Menggunakan Sensor Ultrasonik

      Abstract:  The speed of sound in water varies depending on the condition. There are several factors that affect the difference in the speed of sound in water, such as the viscosity, temperature, pressure, etc. In this study, designed a tool to measure the speed of sound in water by utilizing ultrasonic waves.The ultrasonic sensor used consists of transmitter and receiver. The method used is indirect method by using sound reflection. The 40kHz ultrasonic wave used on the transmitter is generated by the AD9850 signal generator. Signals received receiver in and processed on a microcontroller through an LM393 comparator that makes the signal HIGH and LOW so it can be read directly on the digital pins of microcontroller.Measurements were made at a water temperature of 27oC with 1 meter test medium. The measurement is done on variation of distance from 5-90 cm with span of 5 cm. By knowing the time difference between the transmitted and received signal and the known wave range, the speed of sound in the water obtained in the study was (1394 ± 27) m / s with the determination coefficient of 0.998.

  • Pengembangan True Random Number Generator berbasis Citra menggunakan
           Algoritme Kaotis

      Abstract: The security of most cryptographic systems depends on key generation using a nondeterministic RNG. PRNG generates a random numbers with repeatable patterns over a period of time and can be predicted if the initial conditions and algorithms are known. TRNG extracts entropy from physical sources to generate random numbers. However, most of these systems have relatively high cost, complexity, and difficulty levels. If the camera is directed to a random scene, the resulting random number can be assumed to be random. However, the weakness of a digital camera as a source of random numbers lies in the resulting refractive pattern. The raw data without further processing can have a fixed noise pattern. By applying digital image processing and chaotic algorithms, digital cameras can be used to generate true random numbers. In this research, for preprocessing image data used method of floyd-steinberg algorithm. To solve the problem of several consecutive black or white pixels appearing in the processed image area, the arnold-cat map algorithm is used while the XOR operation is used to combine the data and generate the true random number. NIST statistical tests, scatter and histrogram analyzes show the use of this method can produce truly random numbers

  • Penggunaan Deteksi Gerak untuk Pengurangan Ukuran Data Rekaman Video

      Abstract: Some cases the recording data of Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) is stored for future use. In the long term usage, the files size will grow larger and requiring large storage devices. In some cases, the recorded data not only image with the desired object but also the background images that may be recorded for long periods of time. This cases make data storage device usage to be less effective. So this research will design a system of CCTV devices that capable to select images to reduce the size of stored images data by image processing.The images selection of this system is based on based on adaptive median algorithm. When any object get detected, the images data to be saved is current input frame. Otherwise, the data to be saved is background model image. Background model on this system is adapted with the change visual data of background image.The results obtained from this research in the form of a CCTV system that are able to select recording data to be stored with image processing. The background model will be kept adapting with background visual data changes.
