  • Ambulance Quick Response System

      Abstract: The purpose of ‘Ambulance Quick Response System’ is to make the car more intelligent and minimize fatal injuries and other major risks for the driver by using GPS navigation. In this system, the crash sensors are attached to the body of vehicle and in case of an accident, without any further delay, sends the precise location of the vehicle to the nearby hospitals by using the GPS navigation system. This type of system helps in coordinating with the hospitals and can save many lives. The system is Arduino UNO based design consisting of GSM module, crash sensor and other sensors. System is majorly based on the working of UNO board, which gives commands to GSM module to initiate the system to send a SOS message.

  • A Review on Current Status of Biodegradable Surgical Implant Materials

      Abstract: Since many years, inert metals such as stainless steel, cobalt-chromium and titanium alloys have been the primary biomaterials used for load bearing applications. In order to these metallic implants such as pins, screws and plates for repairing the defects have to be removed by secondary surgery once the bone tissue is healed, which will increase the morbidity, pain and cost. Hence conventional metallic biomaterials are biocompatible but not biodegradable. At present, polymeric biomaterials such as poly-lactic acid (PLA) are used in these applications. The main limitations in using polymers in load bearing implants are their low mechanical strength, hardness and wear resistance. Due to this, biodegradable materials are developed for designing temporary implants like fixation devices for fractured bones or stents. The potential for magnesium based alloys, which are biodegradable and bioabsorbable in biomedical applications has been broadly studied as emerging directions. This study gives a review about current status of biodegradable implant materials.

      Abstract: Software plays a vital role in virtual simulation. Nowadays software used in every filed like modeling, simulation, analysis, virtual reality, etc. Here, Flexsim is also an important and user-friendly tool which can be used for plant modeling, plant simulation, plant analysis. It can be used for capacity planning, bottleneck identification, routing and scheduling, plant virtual model. Also, it is used for material handling equipment analysis. Here, in this paper, we focus on plant simulation for bottleneck identification and its solution.

  • Design and Manufacturing of Human Operated Forklift for Small Scale
           Industry

      Abstract: Mechanical forklift is a new and improved technique utilized in mechanical industry line. Forklift lift or handle more material and transfer one place to another place. Since of forklift it is possible that a one operator is adequate for material handling. When technology is enhanced advance forklift was established, they operate with the help of remotes it necessitates an electricity as well as a cost of remote-controlled forklift is high so that a human powered forklift is establish. In today’s time, there is a broad variety of forklifts, from the large heavy loading truck to the one that works among narrow aisles. Forklifts have become one of the basic transportation tools we use in our lives. With all the forklifts in presence, we find that there are some enhancements that can be made to bring the forklift to a better performance. The main aim of our project is to design and develop forklift which will lift the load and then it will transfer the load from one place to another place. In this new era small scale industries are going toward high quality of product with minimum cost also they are trying to reduce the material handling cost to increase the overall profit. So, for effective material handling human operated forklift would be the excellent option to reduce energy consumption and a lot. It has enormous advantages over others. The 3D model was sketched with the help of CATIA model. The experimental testing was carried out. The result and conclusion were drawn after making the experimental testing.

  • Soldier Security and Health Monitoring System

      Abstract: Nowadays enemy conflict is an important factor in any security. The ministry of defense of country must be effective for the security of that country the national security mainly depends on army, navy, and air-force. There are many concerns related to the safety of these soldiers. This system will be useful for soldiers, who involve in wars or in special operations. In this project, a smart system is attached to the body of the soldiers. This is implemented with a server for complete mobility. This server will provide the connectivity to the server at the central administration using a wireless connection. Each soldier also has a Global Positioning System module which informs the information regarding position of the soldier in the form of Longitude and Altitudes. When any other soldier enters the battlefront, it is very difficult for the army central administration to know about the position as well as the health status of all soldiers. In our project we have come up with an idea of monitoring the health of the soldiers and soldier security system.
