These devices are having a profound effect on a number of industries, from manufacturing processes to healthcare. Computer vision controlled robotic arms are altering the game with their ability to see, comprehend, and interact with their surroundings. In this study we have tried to develop and implement software and hardwares to improve the freedom of movement in a robotic arm which will have a similar look to hand gesture. In the modern world, robotic arms are becoming essential, with uses in a wide range of sectors including the military, defense, healthcare, and industrial automation. These amazing devices can replicate the movements and hand gestures of a human, which makes them incredibly useful in a variety of scenarios. The most innovative automation technology available now is robotic systems. Initially, robots were employed on manufacturing floors in the 1960s and early 1970s.Evaluating the precision of system was done by sort of methods such as sorting, kinematic modelling, and centre recognition which elevate the movements of robotic arms. More innovation if performed to elevate the free movement of robotic arm can enhance it's applications at defence and industrial level.

      Pages: 7 - 11
Abstract: College Enquiry A chatbot is a kind of online application, and this project's primary goal is to give information about colleges. It only provides information on colleges. Something along the lines of "How many branches in college' "How many pupils are in each branch' "By adding some more features and making some improvements we can embed this project into the working site of the college. A chatbot is a software program crafted to engage in natural dialogues with humans, imitating our conversational patterns. Its core purpose involves managing diverse tasks, such as addressing inquiries, that typically necessitate human involvement. Utilizing straightforward language, chatbots were initially conceived to replicate human interaction, aiming to trick individuals into believing they were conversing with another human. They serve various functions, particularly in fields like customer. service and call centers, employing artificial intelligence techniques to communicate efficiently. The primary objective is to emulate human-like intelligence, resulting in a multitude of architectures and functionalities tailored for specific uses. Chatbots may mimic human speech quite effectively, but they frequently have trouble with dynamic learning, adapting, and remembering the context of the interaction. This project is a web-based chatbot that can converse with people using artificial intelligence language and libraries for natural language processing. It's a straightforward bot that responds to inquiries about the college. Here, a human and a machine are interacting through a chatbot. The gadget might be a tablet, smartphone, PC, or another type of device. We may use any device and access the information from any place. We use "Natural Language Processing" to make it simple for a machine to comprehend human language. The utilization of "Natural Language Processing" will facilitate human-computer interaction comfortably.

  • IOT-Driven Room Security: Face Detection and Pin Access Control

    • Free pre-print version: Loading...

Authors: Sachi Dhaturaha, Sajal Kesharwani, Shriya Chaturvedi, Khushi Pathak, Shamsher Singh
      Pages: 12 - 17
Abstract: In our ever-evolving digital world, ensuring the security of our personal spaces has become paramount. This research paper introduces a smart anti-theft system powered by the Internet of Things (IoT). It combines face recognition, PIN code access, and motion-triggered face verification to fortify room security. If an unauthorized person tries to enter, the system instantly alerts both the owner and authorized users, while automatically locking the room. The term "Internet of Things" (IoT) refers to the expansion of internet connectivity to commonplace items and gadgets by incorporating sensors, hardware, and communication features. Through unique identifiers (UIDs), these networked devices can cooperate and interact with one another over the internet, facilitating features like remote health monitoring and enabling remote monitoring and control. Almost anything may join the Internet of Things ecosystem, from tiny pharmaceuticals to massive aircraft or self-driving cars, all thanks to reasonably priced computers and wireless networks. By giving normally lifeless objects a degree of digital intelligence, this transformation successfully closes the gap between the digital and physical domains by enabling real-time data transmission without the need for human intervention. The pivotal face recognition process is carried out through software on a connected laptop, ensuring only the right people gain entry. This paper explains the components, how it all works, and how users can easily control it. This project merges advanced security with user-friendliness, providing an affordable, hi-tech solution for safeguarding personal spaces within the IoT ecosystem.

  • Improvement of Power Quality & Voltage Profile Through the Optimal
Placement of Artificial Intelligence based UPFC Controller

    • Free pre-print version: Loading...

      Authors: Vikas Kumar, Sanjeev Jarariya
      Pages: 18 - 26
Abstract: Amidst the array of FACTS controllers, the Unified Power Flow Controller (UPFC) stands out as a distinguished member, renowned for its array of beneficial features. Recognized as among the most advanced FACTS devices, the UPFC excels in facilitating simultaneous control overactive and reactive power flow as well as voltage magnitude. FACTS devices are instrumental in managing power flow, enhancing transmission capacity, and optimizing power system stability. Increasing the capacity of the existing transmission infrastructure is a more viable option for future power system development than building new, affordable, environmentally friendly transmission lines and power plants. This necessitates the development of new power controllers that can effectively boost transmission capacity and regulate power flow within set parameters. These innovative controllers also need to be able to control voltage levels and the flow of reactive and actual power across transmission lines to maximize system potential while maintaining security margins and stability. The UPFC, specifically, emerges as a highly adaptable Flexible AC Transmission System (FACTS) device capable of regulating both active and reactive power flows within transmission lines through the injection of variable voltage in series and reactive current in shunt. The choice of controller profoundly impacts power flow regulation, prompting the examination UPFC's capabilities through the utilization of fuzzy logic controllers (FLC) in this study. Fuzzy logic controller is designed based on Mamdani’s Fuzzy Inference Method. This paper analyses the effect of controllers on performance of UPFC on the transmission lines that are subject to power quality disturbances such as waveform distortion and harmonics.

  • Real-time Conversational AI Application for Healthcare Domain

    • Free pre-print version: Loading...

Authors: Bagul Jagruti, Rupal A. Kapdi
      Pages: 11 - 31
Abstract: Real-time Conversational AI Application for Healthcare Domain’s primary goal is to create a real- time communication plan to reduce low-pitch sounds and noise levels. We’re using Nvidia Nemo SDK, Nvidia Riva, Amazon Services, and open-source platforms like RASA and Facebook Blender 2.0 chatbot. Our chatbot differs from conversational AI-based chatbots because neural networks are used in text mining consumer feedback. We can say that Conversational AI applications are Intelligent Virtual Assistants (IAV), which converse like a human being. An IAV is used for computer programs that converts a natural language via speech to text, understand the user’s intents and respond by using rules and data from healthcare providers and organizations. We have used BERT and GPT ConvAI models for finetune and pretrained them with some datasets. Neurodegenerative disease patients need a therapist for recovery, so our conversational IAV helps them cure, and the patients do not feel lonely.
