Authors: Supriya S. Bhagwat, Poonam P. Patil, Sunil J. Aher, Mohsina Patwekar, Faheem Patwekar Abstract: The main objective of work was to formulate co-loaded bilayer tablets of atorvastatin (ATV) and ezetimibe(EZM).ATV loaded in the immediate-release (IR) layer is an HMG CoA reductase inhibitor, while EZM, added in the immediate-release (IR) layer, is a lipid-lowering agent. The immediate release of BCS class II drugs atorvastatin and Ezetimibe, in a bilayer approach was achieved by wet granulation and fluid bed granulation followed by compression. The Preformulation studies like, bulk density, tapped density, moisture content, forced degradation study and compatibility of API with all excipients were carried out. The dissolution study of optimize formula were carried out using pH 6.8 phosphate buffer + 0.2%w/v tween 80. Coating was done with opadry white (non-functional coating). The main objective of work was to formulate co-loaded bilayer tablets of atorvastatin (ATV) and ezetimibe(EZM).ATV loaded in the immediate-release (IR) layer is an HMG CoA reductase inhibitor, while EZM, added in the immediate-release (IR) layer, is a lipid-lowering agent. Authors: S. Shameem, Dr.S. Kameshwaran, K. Shanmugapriya, A. Saranya, K.P. Sathish Pages: 19 - 24 Abstract: The trinity of cardinal symptoms that comprise Prune Belly Syndrome (PBS), an uncommon but severe congenital condition, include cryptorchidism, urinary tract dilatation, and flexibility of the abdominal wall musculature. In 1839, Frölich made the first mention of the prune belly condition. Osler gave the disorder its name in 1901; it relates to the wrinkly look of the abdomen brought on by the lack of muscle. Eagle-Barrett syndrome is another name for prune belly syndrome. Although aspiration pneumonia was identified as the immediate cause of death, the autopsy confirmed the PBS diagnosis. Authors: Chanchal chaurasiya, Mohd Aasim Pages: 25 - 33 Abstract: Coronavirus has infected more than 180 countries. Corona virus was most quickly spread from the Wuhan human seafood market (South China). WHO named COVID-19 a worldwide pandemic disease in March 2020 as a consequence of a virus outbreak on the global level, it is transmitted through droplet infection which helps in the quiet spreading of the coronavirus. Several research has been conducted to combat the virus's spread, and vaccine has been approved to be used. The countries from the whole world work with extremely high intentions to introduce vaccine for corona soon with affinity. The countries spend Trillions of expenditures to achieve the purpose. The article aimed to brief the knowledge about the types of corona vaccines, mechanism of action of corona vaccines, an overview of corona vaccines with production details. Mechanism of Action all corona vaccinations have not been thoroughly studied. The goal of this study is to present information about the entire corona vaccination in a single document. Anyone does not need to independently learn about each vaccine's details. PubDate: 2023-06-23 DOI: 10.37591/(rrjops).v14i1.1262 Issue No: Vol. 14, No. 1 (2023)

Authors: K. Shanmugapriya, Dr.S. Kameshwaran, S. Shameem, K.P. Sathish, A. saranya Pages: 34 - 41 Abstract: Pick´s disease is a serious clinicopathological condition that causes the frontotemporal lobe to atrophy circumferentially. Frontotemporal lobar degeneration (FTLD) is now the clinical diagnosis for patients with dementia who have frontotemporal atrophy. FTLD with TDP-43-positive inclusions, corticobasal degeneration, progressive supranuclear palsy, basophilic inclusion body disease, neuronal intermediate filament inclusion disease, and argyrophilic grain disease are additional underlying diseases in FTLD patients. Authors: Ms. Vandana, Shivam Gupta, Shruti Aggarwal, Ashzad ., Supriya . Pages: 42 - 52 Abstract: It plays a crucial role in the progression of various ailments such as gastric inflammation, atherosclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis, asthma, and cancer. The lack of antibodies and transporters leads to the need to create molecules for the treatment of inflammatory diseases. Nanometer technology has become an exciting area of research over the past decade as its performance outperforms many of its products. This article discusses the green synthesis of zinc oxide nanoparticles (ZnoNPs) and various characterization tools to understand the physicochemical properties of nanoparticles. The anti-inflammatory activity of ZnoNPs was annotated by the activity-based method. ZnoNPs can provide stable, selective targeting as well as anti-inflammatory functions. This study demonstrates the potential of ZnoNPs as an anti-inflammatory drug or drug delivery vehicle. Authors: M. Ravisankar, S. Alexandar, K. Suresh, J. Kannan Pages: 53 - 58 Abstract: Elemental impurities in environmental water samples must be carefully monitored since they may have unintended pharmacological and toxicological consequences. For the simultaneous determination of eight metals (Cr, Ni, Cd, Pb, Hg, As, Se, and Sb) in water by ICP-MS, an accurate and sensitive approach has been devised and validated. The method's validity is confirmed through assessment of various criteria for new techniques, including linearity and range, accuracy, precision, selectivity, limit of detection (LOD), and limit of quantitation (LOQ). The present approach demonstrates linear behavior across the 1–1000 ppb range, characterized by r2 values exceeding 0.99. The developed method shows accuracy ranging from 97.5 to 101.7% for water samples. When the relative standard deviation (RSD) of the duplicate metal responses (measured in cps) across three concentration levels is below 1%, the method is considered accurate. This technique allows for the identification and measurement of specific metals at low concentrations owing to its low limits of detection (LOD) and quantitation (LOQ).
