      Abstract: Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian development research yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik, kelayakan dan respon peserta didik terhadap e-module yang dikembangkan. Metode penelitian dan pengembangan yang digunakan yaitu DDE (design, development and evaluation), pada tahap pengembangan e-module digunakan metode 4S TMD yang dibatasi sampai tahap strukturisasi. E-module berbasis Knowledge Building Environment (KBE) yang dikembangkan mengandung nilai-nilai perhatian, keingintahuan, menghargai kesehatan, dan menghargai lingkungan. Tingkat kelayakan e-module yang ditinjau dari segi media dan materi memenuhi kriteria sangat layak, dengan persentase masing-masing yaitu 95,38% dan 89,24% sehingga dapat digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran. Adapun respon siswa terhadap e-module yang dikembangkan juga sangat baik dengan persentase sebesar 86,15%. Oleh karena itu e-module berbasis KBE yang dikembangkan dapat digunakan sebagai bahan belajar dan bahan mengajar di sekolah.

      Abstract: Penerapan sistem pembelajaran student center learning (SCL) merupakan salah satu upaya untuk menciptakan pembelajaran yang bermakna (meaningfull learning).Akan tetapi penerapan SCL ini terkadang juga menimbulkan permasalahan seperti terjadinya miskonsepsi.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi miskonsepsi yang dialami mahasiswa dalam mata kuliah kimia sekolah II pada materi asam basa.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif.Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling.Sampel penelitian adalah mahasiswa yang mengambil mata kuliah kimia sekolah II kelas B dengan jumlah 26 mahasiswa.Pengumpulan data menggunakan tes tertulis yang disertai dengan certainty of response index (CRI). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 46,15% mahasiswa yang paham konsep, 34,61% mahasiswa yang tidak paham konsep dan 19,23% mahasiswa yang mengalami miskonsepsi pada konsep-konsep asam basa yang diujikan. Dari hasil penelitian juga diketahui bahwa miskonsepsi paling banyak terjadi pada konsep hidrolisis garam.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa miskonsepsi yang dialami mahasiswa dalam mata kuliah kimia sekolah II pada materiasam basa termasuk kategori rendah.

      Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk sistesis silika dari abu sekam padi (Oryza sativa) yang dimofikasi dengan kitosan dan hasilnya diaplikasikan untuk menurunkan kadar ion besi dalam air permukaan, terutama air sumur. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode alkali fusion dengan perbandingan abu dengan KOH sebesar 20:80 % berat total. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan modifikasi antara silika dan kitosan berhasil dilakukan serta kemampuan adsorpsi silika yang dimodifikasi lebih baik dibanding silika biasa. Uji FTIR menunjukkan telah terjadi modifikasi silika dengan kitosan pada rasio silika-kitosan 2:1 dan 2:2. Pada rasio silika-kitosan 2:1 adanya gugus NH pada bilangan gelombang 1559,61 cm-1,sedangkan pada rasio silika-kitosan 2:2 adanya gugus NH pada bilangan gelombang 1556,93 cm-1.Kondisi optimum adsorpsi logam Fe berada pada pH 5, waktu kontak optimum selama 50 menit dengan suhu adsorbat pada suhu 28°C, dan berat optimum pada rasio silika-kitosan 2:0 sebanyak 150 mg dan pada rasio silika-kitosan 2:1 sebanyak 200 mg. Adsorpsi logam Fe pada kondisi optimum pada rasio silika-kitosan 2:1 lebih tinggi dibanding rasio silika-kitosan 2:0. Pada sampel air sumur dengan kondisi optimum, Konsentrasi adsorpsi logam Fe pada  rasio silika-kitosan 2:1 sebesar 0,742 ppm denganefisiensi adsorpsi 64,838% dan adsorpsi rasio silika-kitosan 2:0 sebesar 0,577 ppmdenganefisiensi adsorpsi 89,776%.

      Abstract: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif korelasional yang bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara pelaksanaan pratikum terhadap hasil belajar kimia siswa SMA negeri di Kota Bengkulu. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Februari sampai Juni tahun 2020 di SMA negeri Kota Bengkulu yang terdiri dari 10 sekolah dengan sampel penelitian guru kimia yang mengajar di kelas XI MIPA yaitu sebanyak 15 orang. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan dua instrument penelitian yaitu instrument angket pelaksanaan pratikum dan dokumentasi hasil belajar. Instrumen angket pelaksanaan pratikum divalidasi oleh dua orang ahli yaitu dosen pendidikan kimia dan salah satu guru SMA negeri di kota Bengkulu pada 26 februari sampai 3 maret tahun 2020, hasil validasi menyatakan 29 item pertanyaan valid yaitu 24 item pertanyaan tertutup dan 5 item pertanyaan terbuka. Hasil belajar yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah nilai ulangan harian pokok bahasan termokimia dan laju reaksi pada semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2019/2020. Uji korelasi antara pelaksanaan pratikum terhadap hasil belajar kimia menggunakan uji korelasi sederhana pearson product moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan pratikum kimia yang dilaksanakan untuk kelas XI di SMAN sekota Bengkulu tahun ajaran 2019/2020 semester ganjil diperoleh sebesar 93% dengan kategori sangat baik. Hasil analisis nilai siswa untuk pokok bahasan termokimia diperoleh sebesar 34,09% siswa berkategori sangat baik, 61,09% baik dan 4,82% cukup. Nilai pokok bahasan laju reaksi diperoleh sebanyak 39,06% siswa berkategori sangat baik, 52,79% baik, 6,79% cukup dan 1,36% kurang. Hasil uji korelasi menunjukkan bahwa adanya hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara pelaksanaan pratikum kimia di kelas XI pada SMAN sekota Bengkulu pada tahun ajaran 2019/2020 terhadap hasil belajar siswa dengan hasil yang diperoleh nilai koefisien korelasi 0,933 (kategori sangat kuat pada materi termokimia) dan 0,860 (kategori sangat kuat pada materi laju reaksi) serta nilai sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,007 untuk materi termokimia dan 0,028 untuk materi laju reaksi.

      Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran pada matakuliah Kimia Dasar melalui penerapan pendekatan SAVI (Somatic, audiotory, Visual, Intellectual) dengan alat peraga “RTL” (Rimbang-Terung-Lidi) sebagai media pembelajaran inovatif pengganti Molymod. Jenis penelitian adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK), yang terdiri atas tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Materi penelitian yang dilaksanakan adalah Ikatan Kimia. Subyek penelitian adalah mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Kimia yang mengambil mata kuliah Kimia Dasar pada semester ganjil TahunAkademik 2013/2014 yang berjumlah 33 orang.  Adapun instrument penelitian yang digunakan adalah Satuan Acara Perkuliahan (SAP), soal tes berupa essay, lembar aktivitas dosen dan mahasiswa, dan lembar angket tentang penggunaan alat peraga “RTL” sebagai media pembelajaran inovatif pengganti Molymod yang digunakan. Adapun teknikan alisis data yaitu dengan menghitung nilai rata-rata tes mahasiswa, daya serap, dan ketuntasan belajar secara klasikal. Data observasi dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif, dengan menghitung jumlah skor yang diperoleh dengan kategori baik, cukup dan kurang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada terdapat kenaikan nilai rata-rata tes mahasiswa tiap siklus yaitu 67,3; 85,2; dan 90,2. Begitu juga dengan hasil observasi aktivitas dosen dan mahasiswa semakin meningkat dalam kategori baik. Penerapan pendekatan SAVI dengan alat peraga “RTL” sebagai media pembelajaran inovatif pengganti Molymod dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Kimia FKIP Universitas Bengkulu.

      Abstract: This study is aimed at finding out the challenges faced by teachers of students with special needs in science learning for the 21st century. This study uses descriptive methods with a case study approach. Data analysis in this study included data reduction (data reduction), data presentation (data display) and drawing conclusions or verification (conclusion drawing/verification). The results of this study indicate that facing the 21st century teachers are challenged with the need to acquire several abilities, such as, 1) communicate fluently in sign language, 2) explain clearly the science concept and its relationship with other concepts, 3) build a classroom atmosphere with class discussions, 4) conduct different teaching, 5) build realistic expectations, 6) build student experience through experiments, 7) increase access to information, 8) discipline of time. In general, the teachers must be able to apply scientific skills, and must fulfill the four 21st century competencies, namely, critical thinking/problem solving, communication, collaboration, and creativity/innovation.Keywords: School with Special Needs, Science Learning faces the 21st century, 21st Century Teacher Challenges

      Abstract: This study aims to develop a cognitive instrument based on critical thinking skills on acid-base material based on needs analysis in schools. This type of research is research and development with the ADDIE model, where researchers only carry out until the implementation stage. The sample of this research is class XI IPA 1 opening 29 people. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Data analysis using item validation test and reliability test using Lawshe theory and Rasch model as well as testing students' critical thinking skills. The results of developing the Critical Thinking instrument show that it is valid and has a very high reliable value. Valid questions from validation are 18 questions from 24 questions developed, valid questions from empirical validation 8 questions from the expert validation stage. The results of the trial for critical thinking obtained 3.4% very critical, namely 1 critical person, 51.7% critical, namely 15 students, 37.9% critical, namely 11 students and 7% less critical, namely 2. Average value of thinking skills The overall critical score of students is 62.2% which is in the critical category. For results based on Ennis' critical thinking indicators, 76.6% of questions focus indicators are included in the critical category, 59.3% of indicators determine a source including the critical enough category, critical indicators analyze arguments 66.2% are included in the critical category, indicators define terms and considering a definition 52.4% is included in the quite critical category, the ID indicator assumptions 69.7% is included in the critical category, the indicator observes and considers the observation results 52.4% is included in the quite critical category, the indicator answers challenges 61.4% includes critical category, and indicators make and determine the results of the consideration 59.3% including quite critical category.

      Abstract: This study aims to test the feasibility of using the developed e-module, and determine student responses after using the e-module.
      This type of research is research and development using the ADDIE development model. The instruments used in this study were
      interviews with chemistry teachers, validation sheets, and student response questionnaires. This research was conducted at SMAN
      04 Bengkulu City with a research sample of 30 students of class XII IPA 2. From the result of the research obtained the feasibility
      level of e-module based on Learning Cycle 7E on the media aspect of 93.75% while the material aspect was 80.40%. If
      accumulated, the average percentage of the feasibility level of the developed e-module is 87.075%. Based on the results of the
      validation by the e-module validator, the developed module is “very feasible”. Based on the results of student responses to the
      developed e-module, it was obtained a percentage of 85.20% which was included in the “very good” category. The results of this
      study indicate that E-module Based on Learning Cycle 7E on Materials Buffer solution is very feasible to use and very feasible to
      be applied in the learning process.

      Abstract: This study aims to determine the level of feasibility and student response to interactive multimedia learning based on problem based learning (PBL) using the articulate storyline application on the chemical bonding material developed. This research is a research and development conducted in March-August 2021. The development model used is the Four-D (4-D) development model which is limited to the define stage, design stage and develop stage. This research was conducted at Bengkulu University and at SMA Negeri 3 Bengkulu City. The study was only conducted on a small scale (limited) trial with a research sample of 32 students taken from class X MIPA 3. The data in the study were obtained from interviews, student needs questionnaires, validation sheets and student response questionnaires. The results of the validation test obtained an average of media validation and material validation of 86% and 89% which were in the range of 81%-100% with very valid criteria. While the student response test obtained a score of 80% which was in the range of 61% -80% with a good category. Based on the results of the validation and the results of the student responses, it can be concluded that interactive multimedia learning based on problem based learning (PBL) using the articulate storyline application on chemical bonding material is declared feasible and can be used as a medium and learning resource for students.

      Abstract: This study aims to find out how the student's chemistry learning outcomes on the periodic properties of elements in two grade X Mathematics and Natural Sciences at SMA Negeri 02 Mukomuko with the media card game Truth and Dare. The type of research used is a quasi-experimental study with a population of class X MIPA at SMAN 2 Mukomuko and the sample is class X MIPA 2 and class X MIPA 3. The sample in this study is class X Mathematics and Natural Sciences 3 as a control with conventional learning and class X Mathematics 2 as a control. experiment using truth and dare media. Analysis of the data used is the average value of posttest, normality test, homogeneity test, and t test. Data on student learning outcomes were obtained from the pretest and posttest scores with an average of 39.36 and 47.74 for the control class while the experimental class was 26.67 and 68. Then a t-test was carried out with a significant level (' = 0.05), then the value of t-count is 3.290 and t-table is 1.7084. The results showed that there were significant differences in learning outcomes between classes that used Truth and Dare card media and classes that did not use Truth and Dare card media.
