  • Potential of Medicinal Plants in the Asteraceae Family Found in Harau Lima
           Puluh Kota Regency

      Abstract: Harau is one of the areas with a wealth of flora and has not been fully explored, especially for medicinal plants. This research was carried out in July-September 2020 in Harau, Lima Puluh Kota District, using an exploratory survey by observing the research location. Samples of species in the Asteraceae family were taken  as data,  photos were tken, and samples of plants as herbarium specimens were taken as identification material. Furthermore, a literature review was carried out on this Asteraceae family plant which could  be used as medicinal ingredients. Data analysis was done descriptively. The data obtained was presented in tabular form. Identification of plants of the Asteraceae family found in Harau and species of this family that had the potential for treatment were identified using the identification guide literature. Based on the research conducted, it was found that 28 species in the Harau, Lima Puluh Kota District, with habitus terna, sufrutex, frutex, and liana. The Asteraceae family consisted of only one genus, except for Eupatorium which had three species, and Bidens which had two species.

  • Master Plan Design and Implementation of e-Library System

      Abstract: A study shows that the successful use of e-library system in implementation depended on the speed of access, accuracy and appropriate searching collection access (Umukoro and Tiamiyu 2017). Of course, the incomplete design and implementation of the e-Library System at IAIN Batusangkar had become a challenge for the library unit in implementing the e-Library system optimally to retrieval information easil and fast. The purpose of this study was to see the extent of the implementation of the master plan design and that of the e-Library system at library unit of IAIN Batusangkar. This research was a qualitative, library research. this research, used some references to analyze the strengths and weaknesses of the e-Library system. The results showed that the development of the e-Library or digital library at the library unit of IAIN Batusangkar was a way out to overcome various obstacles in the individual input and Information retrieval process, location distance, high social environmental demands and up to date information that is fast, precise, and accurate without having to visit the library and data collection needs which couls be accessed via one touch by connecting to the internet network for Search to e-Library (e.g using web: Zi-shof model e-Campus).

  • Development of Web-Based Physics E-Module Using Discovery-based Learning
           Model on Newton's Law Materials

      Abstract: The COVID-19 pandemic has led to online learning. The sudden learning process shift from offline to online causes new problems, including students’ difficulty in interacting during the learning process. The media used are usually only in the form of WhatsApp groups and emails which caused students to have difficulty understanding the lesson, limited learning resources and insufficient study time. One way to overcome this problem is to create a web-based physics e-module as an appropriate learning medium in this online learning period. The learning model used was discovery-based learning in order that students could find concepts independently. Therefore, this study aimed to develop a web-based e-module using a discovery-based learning model to increase student's interest and desire to learn. The development used in this research was 4-D (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). This research was carried out until the development stage. At the development stage, the e-module validation was carried out by 4 experts as validators. The validation results obtained were 87.8% with very valid criteria. Meanwhile, the practicality of this web-based physics e-module was carried out on students and physics teachers of class XI MIPA 1 SMA N 2 Padang Panjang with percentages of 89.6%, respectively, with very practical criteria. To sum up, this web-based physics e-module using a discovery learning model on Newton's Law material was very valid and very practical to use.

      Abstract: Government to Citizen (G2C) is a form of relationship between the Government and the Citizen within the Government area based on Information Technology. Citizen to Government (G2C) is a form of relationship between the Government, Citizen, and changes in Information Technology. Jogja Smart Service (JSS) is a digital-based service for the Yogyakarta City Government that is integrated and integrated through an information system application, available web (jss.jogjakota.go.id) and mobile (Android and iOS) platforms that can be accessed directly by the people of the municipality area. by prioritizing self-service (self-service). This research uses data from SWOT analysis and KAFI vs KAFE analysis. This research aims to determine how far the Yogyakarta city government application, namely the Jogja Smart Service (JSS) is utilized by the people of the city of Yogyakarta and is actively accessed as an effective and efficient communication bridge between G2C and C2G through digital interaction. The results of the analysis carried out show that there is a digital interaction that is quite effective and efficient in G2C and C2G in the use of JSS applications. As many as 61.9% of users are very enthusiastic about using the application and 75% of potential users are interested in using the application.

  • Methanol Extracts Formulation of Tambora Leaves (Ageratum conyzoides L.),
           Sembalit Angin Leaves (Mussaendafrondosa L.) and Turmina Rhizome (Curcuma
           longa) as Candida albicans Antifungal

      Abstract: This study aimed to analyze the combination formula of Tambora leaves, Sembalit Angin leaves, and Turmeric Rhizomes using a 2: 1: 3 ratio, and determine its effect on the growth of Candida albicans. The growth indicator was measured based on the growth area of inhibition zone which marked by a clear zone between the outer sides of the paper disc. The growth activity was measured at the incubation period of 1x24 hours, 2x24 hours, and 3x24 hours. The observation data then were analyzed by oneway ANOVA statistical test continued with the Duncan test 1%. The results showed that the combination formula of bioherbal methanol extract of Tambora leaves, Sembalit Angin leaves, and turmeric rhizomes had a significant effect on the growth of Candida albicansat 1% significance, proven by the sig value. 0.00 <0.01. Therefore, the combination formula of bioherbal methanol extract of Tambora leaves, Sembalit Angin leaves, and Turmeric rhizomes can be recommended as a combination formula extract that can inhibit the growth of Candida albicans.

  • Antibacterial Activity Test of Ethanol Extract of Matoa Leaf (Pometia
           pinnata) against Salmonella typhi

      Abstract: Typhoid fever known as a disease which is caused by pathogenic bacteria of Salmonella-typhi. It is usually curable with antibiotics including synthetic treatments that kill bacteria that cause typhoid fever. The study was conducted to identify traditional treatments that could be used as a cures for typhoid fever.  The leaf of the matoa is natural medicine containing a secondary metabolic compound that can impede the growth of bacteria. The study aims to know toxic effect and antibacterial ethanol extract of matoa leaves on Salmonella typhi bacteria. The study used a 96% ethanol maceration method. The extract of matoa leaf ethanol was further done by phytogenic screening and FT-IR characterization. The extract of matoa leaves could be nuisance Salmonellatyphi bacteria growth on a category which was being marked by clear zone around the disk at 35% concentration with 3 mm resistance zone.

      Abstract: This study aims to determine the potency of the combination formulation of Tambora leaves, Sembalit Angin leaves and turmeric rhizome using a 1: 2: 3 combination formulation and to determine its inhibitory power against the growth of Escherichiacoli bacteria in vitro which is measured based on the width of the inhibition zone or clear zone from the outermost side aper disc containing methanol extract, a combination formulation of Tambora leaves, Sembalit Angin leaves, and turmeric rhizome with Escherichiacoli bacteria colonies on the surface of the Na plate medium. Data collection and measurement of the growth of Escherichiacoli bacteria were carried out during the incubation period of 1x24 hours, 2x24 hours and 3x24 hours. The data obtained were then analyzed using the Anava one way analysis statistical test and continued with the 1% Duncan test. The results found that the combination formulation of 1: 2: 3 bioherbal methanol extract of Tambora leaves, Sembalit Angin leaves, and Turmeric rhizomes had a significant effect on the growth of Escherichiacoli at 1% significance, as evidenced by the sig value. 0.00 <0.01, so the 1: 2: 3 combination formulation can be recommended as the most effective combination extract formulation in inhibiting the growth of Escherichiacoli bacteria.
