           SINGLE PARENT FAMILIES

    • Authors: Febriella Fauziah, Netrawati Netrawati, Neviyarni Neviyarni, Nurfarhanah Nurfarhanah
Abstract: This study aims in general to describe the passive-aggressive behavior adolescents can develop from the parenting pattern of single-parent families.  Adolescents who live with a single parent have a risk of delinquency compared to adolescents who are cared for by intact parents. The condition of adolescents who are raised by single parents causes children not to be used to expressing their thoughts and feelings freely. This type of research is quantitative research with a descriptive approach. Data analysis in this study was obtained through a passive-aggressive behavior questionnaire with a Likert scale with a sample of 36 students from single parent families at SMKN 1 Enam Lingkung. The results of the study show that passive-aggressive behavior is in the high category, which means that students have passive-aggressive behavior that needs to be intervened so that students can avoid maladaptive behavior. The school responding to that issue immediately by teachers in schools, especially BK teachers in the implementation of services to reduce passive-aggressive to help students develop more optimally.

  • RELIGIOUS MODERATION IN THE ACADEMIC ENVIRONMENT: A STUDY OF
INTERNALISATION OF RELIGIOUS VALUES AND PATRIOTISM AT UNIVERSITAS LAMBUNG
           MANGKURAT

    • Authors: Gt. Muhammad Irhamna Husin, Rusdi Rusli, Muhammad Ihsanul Arief, Noor Ainah
Abstract: We are now facing a tsunami wave of social media development. Anyone and anywhere can access religious information. The impact of this correlates with the vital flow of globalization to all levels of society. The negative influence from the media development side gives a strong impetus for social insecurity. Our integrity as citizens will be at stake because of the appeal of social media. To maintain this, it is essential to strengthen and foster so as not to get out of the path of the nation's ideals. This research discusses how students establish relationships with God and each other in the frame of love for the homeland, surrounded by a plurality of religions, tribes, ethnicities, and cultures, to create an attitude of religious moderation. This type of research is included in field research with quantitative and qualitative approaches. Internalization of spiritual values and love for the homeland in students showed positive results. The results of respondent data show that the strong tendency of religious influence has a positive impact and correlates with love for the homeland. Based on the data, 60% strongly agree, and 28% agree with maintaining relationships with others regardless of anything. This reflects that students' religious understanding has shown an inclusive category, which means they can openly accept differences irrespective of religion, ethnicity, and culture, which is necessary in the Republic of Indonesia.

  • THE IMPACT OF COERCIVE POWER AND IMPOSITION OF SANCTIONS IN SANTRI STUDENT
           ACADEMIC LEARNING

    • Authors: Erik Saut Hatoguan Hutahaean, Yuarini Wahyu Pertiwi, Djuni Thamrin
Abstract: The phenomenon of santri students in Indonesia encompasses various aspects that reflect the influence of pesantren education and Islamic values on their experiences and identities in the university environment. Santri students in Indonesia, like students in general, may also encounter various challenges during their university studies. However, there are some issues that are more commonly experienced by santri students, particularly related to their educational backgrounds in pesantren and their religious experiences. A total of 186 santri students were involved in filling out questionnaires measuring academic commitment, the application of coercive power, the imposition of sanctions, and compliance. Based on mediation analysis, the results indicate that the application of coercive power and the imposition of sanctions can serve as appropriate mediators in bridging the influence of academic commitment to compliance. Compliance among santri students is not solely a result of their academic commitment because the level of compliance can be shaped by the university's application of coercive power and the imposition of sanctions for students who violate rules.

  • PSYCHOTHERAPY: A COMPARISON OF ABU ZAYD AL-BALKHI AND CBT

    • Authors: Scientia Afifah Taibah, Lydia Freyani Hawadi, Thobib al-Asyhar
Abstract: ABSTRACT   Mental health problems are still prominent topics in the last few decades, and Indonesia is no exception. Based on the view of WHO, a healthy mental condition is a state in which individuals are able to realize and optimize their potentials, are able to cope with the pressures of life, study and work well, and contribute to society. Promotion of the importance of mental health and its treatment has been abundant, but psychotherapy with a religious approach has not received much attention. This study reviews the thoughts of Abu Zayd Al-Balkhi as a pioneer in cognitive therapy, positive psychology, and its relation to the development of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) which was first developed by Aaron T. Beck and further developed in the era of modern psychology. There are several similarities in Al-Balkhi's thoughts and the concept of CBT, including views on depression, its symptoms and treatment, as well as the importance of cultivating positive and rational thoughts in treating patients with psychological disorders. The difference between the two lies in the perspective of religiosity instilled by Al-Balkhi, that faith is important in observing worldly problems, and the awareness that true happiness lies in the hereafter. In addition, CBT has undergone significant development both in terms of the disciplinary aspects of psychology and its application in people's lives. The results of this qualitative study are expected to provide an alternative psychotherapy in dealing with mental health problems for Muslim communities

Abstract: Madrasah principals and teachers become an entry point for policy to address disparities in student achievement and quality of madrasahs in Indonesia. Unfortunately, not many studies have tested the theoretical model of teacher job satisfaction as a mediator of the influence of teacher psychological capital and principal leadership style on teacher performance. The population of this study was public and private madrasah teachers in Malang Regency, East Java, Indonesia. At the same time, the research sample consisted of 356 teachers selected by the purposive sampling method. The measuring tool uses the Psychological Capital Questionnaire (PCQ-24), the Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire (MLQ)-5X, and the Job Satisfaction Survey (JSS). Testing construct validity used confirmatory factor analysis (CFA), while data analysis used Structural Equating Modeling (SEM) with Mplus 7.4 software. The results of SEM show that the theoretical model of teacher job satisfaction as a mediator variable in the influence of teacher psychological capital and leadership style of madrasah principals on teacher performance fit the empirical data. The results also show that teacher job satisfaction mediates the effect of teacher psychological capital and principal leadership style on teacher performance, but the direct effect of the two independent variables on the dependent variable is stronger.

  • Perception And Role Of Lecturers' Practical Wisdom In Initiating The
Implementation Of Religious Moderation In General Courses

    • Authors: Mohammad Mahpur, Aprilian Mega Rosdiana, Iqbal Ali Wafa, Jamilah Jamilah, Devi Pramitha
      First page: 351
