Abstract: O presente estudo investigou aspectos da relação entre formação e prática profissional no contexto das Políticas Públicas de Saúde e Assistência Social (SUS e SUAS) de egressos do curso de Psicologia da Universidade Federal de São Carlos (UFSCar), formados entre 2009 e 2013. Os objetivos da pesquisa foram: caracterizar a formação e o campo de atuação de tais egressos, bem como verificar a porcentagem e as especificidades na formação daqueles que já atuaram no SUS e/ou SUAS. Do total de 180 formandos do período analisado (população total), foi feito contato com 165 pessoas, das quais 74 responderam ao questionário. Entre os respondentes (n amostral=74), 39,2% (n=29) já atuaram no SUS e/ou SUAS. A análise dos resultados articula as experiências formativas e profissionais relatadas com outros estudos sobre o tema, princípios do SUS e SUAS e o Projeto Pedagógico do curso.This study investigated aspects of the relationship between education and professional performance in the context of Brazilian health and social care public policies (SUS e SUAS) of psychology graduates of São Carlos Federal University (UFSCar), between 2009 and 2013. The objectives of the research were: to characterize the education and professional performance field of the graduates; and to check the percentage and the specificities in the training of those who have worked in SUS and/or SUAS. From the total of 180 graduates form the analyzed period (total population), 165 people were contacted but only 74 responded to the questionnaire. Among the respondents (sample n=74), 39.2% (n=29) have already worked in SUS and/or SUAS. The analysis of the results articulates the educational and professional experiences reported with the other studies on the subject, the SUS and SUAS principles, and the course's Pedagogical Project.
Abstract: Dadas as especificidades da deficiência visual e a importância de se manter a equidade nos processos avaliativos, este artigo teve como objetivo traçar um panorama da área de avaliação psicológica direcionada à população deficiente visual. Ao longo do artigo buscou-se apresentar as possibilidades e as propostas avaliativas para a população, dando foco à forma na qual a avaliação pode ser realizada pelo profissional. Dando continuidade, o artigo ainda apresenta os principais desafios da área no que tange ao uso de instrumentos psicológicos para determinado fim, traçando as principais lacunas e as relevâncias de se realizarem pesquisas futuras. Espera-se que este artigo possa contribuir para a área de avaliação psicológica, estimulando novos pesquisadores e auxiliando profissionais com as demandas específicas a serem consideradas durante os processos avaliativos para essa população.Considering the specificities of visual impairment and the importance of maintaining equity in evaluation processes, this article aimed to draw a prospect of the psychological evaluation directed to the visually impaired population. Throughout the article, we tried to present the possibilities and proposals of evaluation for this population, focusing on the way the professional can perform the evaluation. After that, the article also presents the main challenges of the area regarding the use of psychological instruments for a specific purpose, outlining the main gaps and the relevance of future research. The article is expected to contribute to the psychological evaluation area, stimulating new researchers and assisting professionals with the specific demands to be considered during the evaluation processes for this population.
Abstract: Esta pesquisa integra uma investigação mais ampla, interinstitucional, abrangendo diferentes municípios do Brasil, cujo objetivo é compreender a experiência coletiva a partir do discurso das equipes de assistência social que atuam nos CRAS e sua relação com os processos de emancipação dos sujeitos. Aqui apresentam-se os resultados da investigação compreendendo oito unidades do CRAS de seis municípios localizados na região agreste do norte da Bahia e do sul de Sergipe, desenvolvida por meio de rodas de conversa com as equipes que integram os equipamentos. Focalizamos as atividades desenvolvidas, os trabalhos em grupo, as dificuldades enfrentadas e as potencialidades com as quais as equipes se deparam no contexto dos CRAS. Os resultados apontam para a falta de estrutura institucional, para dificuldades na atuação no campo, ao mesmo tempo em que avanços são identificados em seu fazeres, indicando o SUAS como política social imprescindível na atualidade.This research integrates a broader, interinstitutional investigation covering different cities in Brazil, whose objective is to understand the collective experience from the discourse of the social assistance teams that work in Reference Centers for Social Assistance (CRAS) and its relationship with the emancipation processes of the subjects. Here we present the results of the investigation comprising eight CRAS units from six municipalities located in the agreste region of northern Bahia and southern Sergipe, developed by means of conversation circles with the teams that integrate the equipment. We focus on the activities developed, group works, the difficulties, and the potentialities that the teams face in the context of CRAS. The results point to the lack of institutional structure and to difficulties in the area, at the same time it identifies advances in their actions, indicating the Unified Social Assistance System (SUAS) as an essential social policy in the present time.
Abstract: Este artigo investiga as fontes de informações que contribuem para a formação das concepções parentais sobre o desenvolvimento infantil de 40 casais primíparos com filhos de 3, 6, 9 ou 12 meses. Os participantes responderam a um questionário sociodemográfico e a uma entrevista semiestruturada, sendo que as informações foram analisadas por meio da técnica de análise de conteúdo. Da análise das entrevistas emergiram quatro categorias: fontes de informações utilizadas; tipos de informações buscadas; utilidade das informações; aspectos positivos e negativos das fontes de informações. Os principais resultados indicaram que as fontes de informações mais utilizadas foram: profissionais de saúde (96,2%), sites (83,7%) e familiares (82,5%). Pôde-se compreender como as fontes de informações tradicionais se intercalam com as fontes contemporâneas ligadas às mudanças culturais relacionadas ao aumento do acesso à internet e às novas tecnologias. Considera-se que este trabalho contribui para a compreensão das fontes de informações que auxiliam o início da parentalidade na contemporaneidade.This article investigates the sources of information that contribute to the formation of parental conceptions about the child development of 40 primiparous couples with children aged from 3, 6, 9, and 12 months old. The participants answered a sociodemographic questionnaire and a semi-structured interview, the information was analyzed using the content analysis technique. Four categories emerged from the analysis of the interviews: sources of information used; types of information sought; usefulness of information, and positive and negative aspects of the information sources. The main results indicated that the most used sources of information were: health professionals (96.2%); websites (83.7%); and family members (82.5%). We could understand how traditional sources of information are intertwined with contemporary sources linked to cultural changes related to increased access to the internet and to new technologies. We consider that this work contributes to the understanding of the sources of information that help the beginning of parenting in contemporary times.
Abstract: Este artigo objetiva analisar as teorias rogerianas da personalidade e da psicoterapia. Inicialmente, problematiza que elas são a base da terapia centrada no cliente e estão contidas em obras de Carl Rogers sem circulação corrente no Brasil, gerando um acesso disperso dessas ideias. Em seguida, sintetiza 19 proposições sobre a estruturação, desestruturação e reestruturação da personalidade. Além disso, aprofunda seis condições entendidas por Rogers como necessárias e suficientes para mudança de personalidade, articulando-as com as mencionadas proposições. Finalmente, discute que, na abordagem centrada na pessoa, a personalidade deixa de ser o foco das intervenções clínicas, e tais condições continuam necessárias, porém nem sempre suficientes, apontando outras condições que poderiam suplementar a relação terapêutica. Conclui que o legado de Rogers vai além das atitudes facilitadoras e recomenda revisões de outras teorias.This article aims to analyze the personality and psychotherapy Rogerian theories. Initially, it problematizes that they are the basis of client-centered therapy and are contained in works of Carl Rogers without current circulation in Brazil, generating a scattered access to these ideas. Then, it synthesizes nineteen propositions about the structuring, destructuring, and restructuring of personality. Furthermore, it deepens six conditions understood by Rogers as necessary and sufficient for personality change, articulating them with the mentioned propositions. Finally, it discusses that in the person-centered approach: the personality ceases to be the clinical interventions focus; and these conditions are still necessary, but not always sufficient, pointing other conditions that could supplement the therapeutic relationship. It concludes that Rogers' legacy goes beyond facilitating attitudes and recommends revisions of other theories.
Abstract: Estudos apontam que resiliência e estratégias de enfrentamento, em especial na dimensão religiosa e/ou espiritual, são fatores que permitem a pessoas com HIV/Aids se adaptarem à soropositividade e obterem melhor qualidade de vida (QV). O estudo teve como objetivo investigar preditores da percepção da QV, considerando variáveis sociodemográficas, médico-clínicas, estratégias de coping religioso e resiliência. Participaram 200 pessoas soropositivas (105 homens), com média de idade igual a 39 anos (DP=10,9). Os instrumentos foram: questionário sobre aspectos sociodemográficos e médico-clínicos, Escala Breve de Enfrentamento Religioso, Escala de Avaliação da Resiliência e o WHOQOL-HIV Bref. Na análise de regressão múltipla, os preditores da QV foram: resiliência (b= 0,29; p£ 0.001), escolaridade (b= 0,20; p£ 0,01) e coping religioso negativo (b= -0,22; p£ 0,001). Os resultados confirmaram o papel importante que resiliência e coping religioso podem ter no processo de superação de adversidades relacionadas ao HIV/Aids, com implicações nas práticas profissionais nessa área.Studies show that resilience and coping strategies, especially in their religious and / or spiritual dimension, are factors that allow people with HIV/Aids to adapt to seropositivity and have a better quality of life (QoL). The study aimed to investigate predictors of QoL perception, considering sociodemographic, medical-clinic variables, religious coping strategies and resilience. Two hundred HIV-positive people (105 men) participated with a mean age of 39 years (SD = 10.9). The instruments were: Questionnaire on sociodemographic and clinical-medical aspects; Brief Scale of Religious Coping; Resilience Assessment Scale and WHOQOL-HIV Bref. In the multiple regression analysis, the predictors of QoL were: resilience (b= 0,29; p£ 0.001), schooling (b= 0,20; p£ 0,01) and negative religious coping (b= -0,22; p£ 0,001). The results confirmed the important role that religious coping and resilience can play in overcoming adversities related to HIV /Aids, with implications for professional practices in this area.
Abstract: Neste artigo, lançamos o olhar para a situação de jovens das classes populares do Rio de Janeiro, que vivem em contextos marcados pela incerteza, falta de garantias e precariedade social. Buscamos compreender como os jovens, movendo-se entre diversos espaços, lidam com a incerteza e a imprevisibilidade e oportunizam, em um contexto instável e precário, algo que é bom e tem valor para eles. Participaram da pesquisa 51 jovens, estudantes de duas escolas públicas municipais do Rio de Janeiro, com idades entre 14 e 16 anos. Foram realizados três grupos de discussão, que ocorreram no formato de oficinas. Foi possível observar situações em que os jovens, mesmo quando inseridos em contextos incertos e desfavoráveis em termos de garantias e oportunidades objetivas, oportunizam para si condições para ser e fazer o que desejam.In this study, we looked at the situation of young people from popular classes on Rio de Janeiro, who live in contexts marked by uncertainty, lack of guarantees, and social precarity. We seek to comprehend how young people, moving between different spaces, deal with uncertainty and unpredictability and how they opportunize, in a precarious and unstable context, something that is good and has some value to them. A total of 51 youths participated in this research, students from two public municipal schools of Rio de Janeiro with ages between 14 and 16. Three discussion groups took place in the format of workshops. It was possible to observe situations in which young people, even when inserted in uncertain and unfavorable contexts in terms of guarantees and objective opportunities, still opportunize for themselves the conditions to be and to do what they want.
Abstract: O presente estudo teve como objetivo investigar relações entre temperamento infantil e envolvimento parental, em famílias formadas por mãe, pai e ao menos uma criança com idade entre 4 e 6 anos. Os participantes foram 150 mães e 150 pais (N = 300), que responderam a instrumentos para avaliação do temperamento infantil e do envolvimento parental. As análises estatísticas revelaram correlações entre o temperamento e o envolvimento. No entanto, algumas dimensões do temperamento e do envolvimento que se correlacionaram foram diferentes para mãe e pai, sugerindo que as interações dessas variáveis podem ser influenciadas pelo gênero parental. Foram discutidas implicações do temperamento infantil e do envolvimento parental no desenvolvimento individual dos membros da família e nas interações familiares. AbstractThe current study aimed at investigating relationships between child temperament and parental involvement in families formed by mother, father, and at least one child aged 4 to 6 years. The participants were 150 mothers and 150 fathers (N = 300) who responded to instruments for child temperament and parental involvement assessment. Statistical analysis revealed correlations between temperament and involvement. Nonetheless, some dimensions of temperament and involvement that were correlated were different for mother and father, which suggests that interactions of these variables may be influenced by the parents' gender. We discussed implications in of the child temperament and the parental involvement in the individual development of family members and in family interactions.
Abstract: Levando-se em consideração que a relação com o lugar pode desempenhar importante papel na forma como o produtor rural pode ser emocionalmente ligado à terra e à comunidade à qual pertence, traçou-se como objetivo geral deste estudo investigar a natureza da relação com o lugar, a partir das vivências de produtores agroecológicos de uma comunidade rural. Para isso, foi adotada uma abordagem qualitativa, de inspiração etnográfica, utilizando-se a observação participante e a entrevista semistruturada, além do auxílio do software ATLAS.ti para análise dos dados. Verificou-se a existência de diferentes aspectos da relação com o lugar, revelando um vínculo multidimensional formado por variadas formas de apropriação pelos participantes. A agricultura e o processo de luta e conquista do assentamento se confundem com a própria história das famílias, ocupando centralidade no papel da terra ao influenciar nas dimensões funcionais, simbólicas e espirituais. Também foi possível observar diferentes relações nas formas de ser, trabalhar e viver, impulsionando novas formas de (re)significação do lugar.Considering that the relationship with the place can play an important role in the way the rural producer can be emotionally connected to the land and to the community to which he/she belongs, the general objective of this study was to investigate the nature of the relationship with the place, based on the experiences of agroecological producers of a rural community. A qualitative, ethnographic-based approach was adopted, using participant observation and semi-structured interview, and the help of the ATLAS.ti software for data analysis. We verified the existence of different aspects of the relation with the place, revealing a multidimensional bond formed by various forms of appropriation by the participants. Agriculture and the process of struggle and conquest of the settlement are combined with the history of families themselves, occupying center place in the role of the land by influencing the functional, symbolic, and spiritual dimensions. We were able to observe different relationships in the ways of being, working, and living, impelling new forms of (re)significance of the place.
Abstract: Este trabalho, de abordagem clínico-qualitativa, apresenta os resultados de uma pesquisa que objetivou investigar os significados atribuídos por adolescentes às suas vivências de câncer no ambiente hospitalar. Os participantes foram adolescentes com idades entre 12 e 18 anos, os quais se encontravam internados em um centro de tratamento de câncer de um hospital público. Como instrumento de coleta de dados, utilizou-se a entrevista semidirigida. O número total de participantes, delimitado a partir de critérios de saturação, foi nove. As entrevistas foram transcritas e analisadas por meio de análise de conteúdo. As categorias emergentes foram: 1) "Acabou comigo": a notícia do diagnóstico de câncer para o adolescente; 2) "Mudou muita coisa": a ruptura do cotidiano; 3) "Me chamam de carequinha": o impacto do olhar do outro sobre o adolescente; e 4) Internação com crianças: qual o lugar do adolescente' Destaca-se a importância da atenção às necessidades psicossociais do adolescente hospitalizado.This clinical-qualitative-approach work results from a study that aimed to investigate the meanings adolescents attributed to their experiences with cancer in the hospital context. The participants were adolescents from 12 to 18 years old admitted to a treatment center in a public hospital. A semi-directed interview was used as instrument of data collection. The total number of participants was nine, which was delimited based on saturation criteria. The interviews were fully transcribed and analyzed based on content analysis. The emergent categories were: 1. "Tore me apart": the diagnostic report of cancer on the adolescent's point of view. 2. "Much has changed": the rupture of daily life. 3. "They call me a baldy": the impact of other people's view. And 4. "Children inpatients": where is the adolescent's place' We highlight the importance of attention to the psychosocial needs of hospitalized adolescents.
Abstract: Este artigo consiste num relato de experiências grupais efetuadas na articulação entre Psicologia e Arte, mais especificamente Artes Visuais, que vínhamos desenvolvendo ao longo dos últimos dez anos, no contexto formativo em Psicologia de uma disciplina de Teorias e Técnicas Grupais. Argumentamos que poéticas grupais podem atuar como estratégias de visibilidade daquilo que pulsa em linhas de força, rompendo com especialismos, teoricismos e profissionalismos instituídos. Para tal, tecemos considerações sobre os imperativos instrumentalistas nos trabalhos com grupos, em seguida, o que entendemos por poéticas grupais, passando dos conceitos ao relato de uma das experiências grupais que ocorrem na interface entre Psicologia e Arte.This article is an account of group experiences carried out in the articulation between Psychology and Art, more specifically Visual Arts, which we have developed over the last ten years, in the formative context in Psychology of a Group Theories and Techniques course. We argue that group poetics can act as strategies of visibility of what pulsates in lines of force, breaking with instituted specialisms, theories, and professionalism. For this, we make considerations about the instrumentalist imperatives in the works with groups, then what we mean by group poetics, going from the concepts to the report of one of the group experiences in the interface between Psychology and Art.
Abstract: Esta pesquisa buscou investigar as relações entre trabalho e saúde, junto a comerciários do setor varejista, um dos segmentos mais empregadores no mercado de trabalho. Tentou-se compreender os impactos psicológicos e sociais das atividades dos profissionais menos qualificados desse setor. A pesquisa bibliográfica constatou haver poucos estudos sobre o tema, na área da psicologia do trabalho. A investigação empírica, de cunho qualitativo, ocorreu em um hipermercado, na cidade de Belo Horizonte, MG, por meio de entrevistas semiestruturadas e observação de campo. Foram realizadas 22 entrevistas com participantes de ambos os sexos, trabalhando no nível operacional da empresa. Os resultados evidenciaram a insatisfação no trabalho, mesmo entre os sujeitos aparentemente identificados com suas atividades. No limite, restam-lhes poucas possibilidades de realização pessoal, dada a desarticulação entre as condições de trabalho e as aspirações pessoais, com impactos negativos nas demais esferas de vida, o que também gera sofrimento e adoecimento.This study aimed at investigating the relationships between work and health among retail employees, one of the sectors responsible for most hirings on the job market. We tried to understand the psychological and social impacts of the activities performed by the lowest-qualified workers of this sector. The bibliographical research showed that studies about the subject are scarce in the field of occupational psychology. The empirical qualitative investigation was carried out in a hypermarket located in the municipality of Belo Horizonte, state of Minas Gerais, by using a series of semi-structured interviews and field observation. We interviewed 22 operational-level employees of both genders. The results clearly indicated job dissatisfaction, even among individuals apparently identified with their activities. , they have only a few possibilities left to obtain personal achievement, given the gap between working conditions and personal aspirations, which generates negative impacts on all other life aspects and leads to suffering and illnesses.
