  • Prototipe Alat Monitoring Suhu dan Sistem Kontrol pada Trainer Refrigerasi
           Berbasis Raspberry Pi 3 B+

      Abstract: Trainer refrigerasi merupakan model kerja dari sistem refrigerasi nyata yang ditujukan untuk menunjang pembelajaran mahasiswa dalam karakterisasi sistem refrigerasi. Suhu merupakan salah satu variabel utama dalam sistem refrigerasi. Terdapat beberapa metode yang dapat dilakukan untuk monitoring suhu pada trainer refrigerasi, salah satunya dengan mengimplementasikan alat monitoring suhu dan sistem kontrol berbasis Raspberry Pi 3 B+. Penelitian ini menggunakan sensor DS18B20 dan mikroprosesor Raspberry Pi 3 B+ untuk monitoring suhu pada beberapa titik pengukuran di trainer refrigerasi. Sistem monitoring suhu pada penelitian ini memiliki berbagai fitur seperti pemantauan suhu, kontrol on/off fan dan kompresor, penyimpanan data secara online maupun offline, dan control dari jarak jauh. Hasil pengujian prototipe selama 4 jam terlihat stabil tanpa adanya kenaikan ataupun penurunan nilai suhu secara tiba-tiba pada seluruh parameter titik pengukuran. Selain itu, nilai persentase error sebesar kurang dari 10% untuk pengukuran suhu di hampir seluruh titik pengukuran menunjukkan bahwa sensor suhu DS18B20 yang digunakan memberikan nilai akurasi terbaik dan dianggap memadai untuk prototipe ini.

  • Pengujian Rancangan Simulator Resistansi Termal dan Rugi-rugi Kalor pada
           Sistem Aliran Fluida dalam Pipa Tersekat dengan Metode Adaptive Neuro
           Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS) dan Least-squares Estimation (LSE)

      Abstract: Data resistansi termal sangat diperlukan untuk merancang sistem sekatan (insulasi) untuk pencegahan rugi-rugi kalor pada sistem aliran fluida melalui pipa. Metode penguiian untuk mendapatkan data sifat resistansi termal dari sekatan (insulator) jenis bahan sekatan berskala nano masih belum disepakati, begitu juga dengan penjelasan fenomena fisis dalam mekanisme menghambat aliran kalor. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mendapatkan rancangan simulator pengujian sifat resistansi termal sekatan dan rugi-rugi kalor melalui pipa sebagai metode pengujian alternatif untuk berbagai jenis bahan sekatan. Udara panas dialirkan melalui pipa yang dilengkapi dengan sistem pengukuran dan pengolahan data untuk mendapatkan data distribusi suhu aliran fluida dalam pipa dan suhu permukaan di sepanjang pipa. Sifat resistansi termal dan rugi-rugi kalor merupakan parameter bahan sekatan yang diuji. Model matematik diselesaikan secara numerik dan divalidasi dengan perangkat lunak COMSOL Multiphysics. Pada rancangan simulator, kedua sifat diestimasi menggunakan metode ANFIS dan LSE. Metode estimasi ANFIS menunjukkan kinerja estimasi terbaik, baik untuk resistansi termal maupun rugi-rugi kalor. Metode estimasi ANFIS untuk resistansi termal memberikan nilai galat sebesar 0,163 m2K/W, sedangkan untuk rugi-rugi kalor memberikan nilai galat sebesar 12,64 W/m. Metode estimasi ANFIS yang telah dikembangkan memiliki ketahanan yang cukup baik terhadap kesalahan dalam simulasi data pengukuran.

  • Enhancing the Reliability of Photovoltaic Systems in Microgrid at Campus
           Area

      Abstract: This paper assesses the reliability of photovoltaic systems within a microgrid, considering the system's operational mode and monthly data on solar radiation and load demand. The evaluation encompasses various reliability metrics, including microgrid failure rate, interruption duration, system unavailability, EENS, EIR, LOLE, and LOLP, with the objective of minimizing these parameters. The methodologies applied involve the Markov model and artificial intelligence algorithms such as Naive Bayes and Support Vector Machine (SVM). Results indicate that the microgrid exhibits enhanced reliability in an on-grid mode configuration, with a LOLP value of 0.0008. Furthermore, employing machine learning, specifically SVM, for LOLP calculation based on solar radiation yields a more precise value of 0.7245. This study offers valuable insights for policymakers and system designers in determining the optimal configuration for microgrids.

  • Evaluasi Spasial Estimasi Curah Hujan pada Radar Cuaca Menggunakan Metode
           Z-R Marshall-Palmer di Wilayah Jawa Barat

      Abstract: Curah hujan merupakan salah satu parameter cuaca yang berpengaruh terhadap berbagai sektor. Intensitas curah hujan tinggi dapat memicu terjadinya bencana hidrometeorologi sehingga data pengamatan curah hujan sangat penting untuk memantau kondisi curah hujan di suatu wilayah. Peralatan curah hujan otomatis merupakan instrumen mengukur curah hujan di suatu titik pengamatan, namun peralatan tersebut memiliki cakupan yang cukup rendah dan belum menjangkau seluruh wilayah. Radar cuaca merupakan salah satu instrumen penginderaan jauh yang mampu mengestimasi curah hujan secara spasial. Output data pengamatan radar cuaca dapat dijadikan estimasi curah hujan menggunakan metode pendekatan Z-R Marshall-Palmer. Penerapan metode tersebut dapat menjadi alternatif untuk wilayah yang belum memiliki peralatan pengamatan curah hujan. Namun, estimasi tersebut perlu dievaluasi sehingga dapat meningkatkan perfoma akurasi nilai estimasi tersebut. Berdasarkan evaluasi yang telah dilakukan, koefisien determinan tertinggi sebesar 0,92 dan terendah sebesar 0,67. Nilai RMSE terendah sebesar 2.40 dan tertinggi sebesar 6.76, nilai ME tertinggi sebesar 16.59 dan terendah 5.93, bias tertinggi sebesar 12,90 dan terendah 5.30. Hasil studi menunjukkan radar cuaca dapat beroperasi sesuai spesifikasi jarak maksimal pengamatan hingga 220 KM, namun semakin jauh jarak pengamatan terhadap suatu titik, mempengaruhi performa akurasi estimasi curah hujan.

  • Estimasi Kecepatan Angin Permukaan pada Jaringan Anemometer Menggunakan
           Temporal Convolutional Network

      Abstract: Parameter angin permukaan di berbagai lokasi diukur menggunakan jaringan anemometer. Jaringan ini sering mengalami kegagalan sistem yang disebabkan oleh kerusakan sensor. Hal ini menyebabkan adanya gap data pada jeda waktu antara pelepasan dan pemasangan sensor. Penelitian ini berupaya mengembangkan model estimasi kecepatan angin pada jaringan anemometer menggunakan algoritma Temporal Convolutional Network (TCN). TCN memproses sinyal domain waktu secara paralel, sehingga mempersingkat komputasi secara signifikan. Dataset kecepatan angin per menit diperoleh dari empat anemometer di Bandara Internasional Juanda Surabaya periode 1 Januari 2022 – 24 Desember 2023. Desain model estimasi meliputi pra-pemrosesan data, analisis arah angin dominan, penentuan hyperparameter, training dan pengujian terhadap data aktual. Model estimasi TCN dibagi menjadi model timuran, baratan, peralihan dan semua arah. Model estimasi kecepatan angin timuran, peralihan dan semua arah memiliki korelasi kuat terhadap data aktual dengan nilai koefisien korelasi berturut-turut yaitu 0,70; 0,77 dan 0,87. Secara keseluruhan, akurasi model estimasi berbasis TCN sudah memenuhi persyaratan WMO untuk pengukuran kecepatan angin yaitu capaian RMSE<5 m/s dan MAE<3 m/s. TCN mampu memproses pelatihan 87 detik per epoch dan menyelesaikan estimasi dalam 37 detik, jauh lebih cepat dari CNN-BiDLSTM dengan durasi pelatihan 2206 detik per epoch dan estimasi dalam 548 detik.

  • Audit Energi Menggunakan Intensitas Konsumsi Energi untuk Konservasi
           Energi di Gedung Kampus

      Abstract: Audit energi merupakan langkah penting dalam optimisasi penggunaan energi di bangunan komersial. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi penerapan audit energi dengan metode Intensitas Konsumsi Energi (IKE) untuk meningkatkan efisiensi energi di gedung kampus. Pertimbangan perubahan dalam pola hunian dan aktivitas di lingkungan universitas dapat memberikan wawasan menyeluruh terhadap pola konsumsi energi yang terkait. Audit dilakukan dengan menganalisis konsumsi energi gedung dan mengidentifikasi potensi penghematan energi guna meningkatkan efisiensi penggunaan energi. Data energi dikumpulkan dan dianalisis untuk mengevaluasi kinerja energi gedung. Langkah konservasi energi yang direkomendasikan mencakup pembaruan sistem pencahayaan, optimasi sistem pendinginan, dan peningkatan efisiensi penggunaan peralatan. Penelitian ini memberikan rekomendasi bagi pengelola gedung kampus dalam mengadopsi praktik-praktik berkelanjutan dalam manajemen energi, yang dapat mengurangi biaya operasional dan dampak lingkungan yang lebih rendah. Dengan demikian, pendekatan audit energi dengan metode IKE menjadi strategi yang relevan dan efektif dalam mencapai tujuan konservasi energi di lingkungan universitas. Berdasarkan analisis yang dilakukan diperoleh IKE terbaru untuk Labtek V adalah 38,01 (2021), sedangkan IKE untuk Labtek VI adalah 16,75 (2021). Hal ini mengartikan bahwa penggunaan energi pada kedua gedung tersebut belum efisien. Potensi penghematan dalam mengurangi pemakaian energi gedung didapatkan sebesar 6,6964%.
