Authors:Trubus Raharjo, Zainab Naila Husna Jamilah Pages: 1 - 12 Abstract: AbstractThis study aims to determine empirically the relationship between achievement motivation and academic stress with acadeic flow in boarding school student. The population in this study were students at a boarding school, while the sampling technique used is purposive sampling technique with a total of 100 subjects. Data collection tools are achievement motivation scale, academic stress scale and academic flow scale with four alternative answers. The data analysis method used is regression of two predictors. The results of the major hypothesis obtained rx12y coefficient of 0.772 with p 0.000 (p < 0.001) which means that there is a very significant relationship between achievement motivation and academic stress with academic flow with an effective contribution of 59,5% so that the major hypothesis is accepted. The results of the first minor hypothesis are accepted because the coefficient between rx1y is 0.638 with a significance level of p of 0.000 (p <0.01) meaning that there is a very significant positive relationship between achievement motivation and academic flow with an effective contribution of 40,7%. The second minor hypothesis is also accepted because it shows the magnitude of the coefficient between rx2y of -0.705 with a significance of p of 0.000 (p <0.01) so that there is a very significant negative relationship between academic stress and academic flow and has an effective contribution of 49,7%. Based on the results of the study, it shows that achievement motivation and academic stress affect academic flow in students and become a reference for schools to improve students' academic abilities in learning.Keywords: Achievement Motivation, Academic Stress, Academic Flow. It can be seen from the GPA, which is a number that describes the success of studies cumulatively (Saputro, 2022). Academic achievement factors (Arofah et al., 2020) include internal factors (physiology and psychology) and external factors (social and non-social environment). The study aimed to determine the differences in student academic achievement in terms of Self-Regulated Learning (SRL) and gender. The research sample was 160 students of the Faculty of General Medicine class of 2022 at Malahayati University, determined by random sampling technique. The data was collected using the MSLQ (Motivated Strategies for Learning Questionnaire) scale, 2021/2022 academic year GPA, and students’ gender. The correlation test results were 0.562 (p = 0.000), where the p-value was lower than 0.05. Therefore, the proposed research hypothesis proved differences in academic achievement in terms of SRL and gender in the Faculty of General Medicine students at Malahayati University. Self-awareness is part of emotional intelligence. Self-awareness student must be managed because it will contribute to the understanding of the student learning outcomes. So students can compete in facing a dynamic environment. This research study was to collect data and insights about student learning outcomes based on the level of self-awareness. The hypothesis of this study is that students who achieve good learning outcomes are students who have good self-awareness and have a positive influence on student learning outcomes. The research sample consisted of 30 students of Sriwijaya State Polytechnic, Bukit class and 11 students of Sriwijaya State Polytechnic, Banyuasin Class. Self-awareness and student learning outcomes were measured by a questionnaire with a Lickert scale. Then, the data were analyzed through SPSS software. Authors:Sulastri Sulastri, Khairani Khairani Pages: 31 - 48 Abstract: The meaning of life is defined as things that are perceived as necessary, felt useful, and believed to be wonderful and can be used as a life goal. The meaning of life can be discovered in joyful and tragic situations. This research aims to examine the meaning of life among mothers with children who have been sexually abused. This study employs a qualitative method with a case study approach. The research subject is a mother with two sexually abused children. Interviews, observation, and documentation were employed as data-gathering methods. The findings revealed that women who had children who were victims of sexual abuse felt embarrassed, depressed, sad, and exhausted at first. However, the subject always strives to accept what happened to her two children, seeking help from institutes specializing in children. As a result, the subject can still perform positive things like working and expressing support, attention, love, and affection for her children. The subject's meaning of life for the circumstances that occurred to her children caused the subject to grow more attached to them because she was always connected with affection, could live his life with the conditions that transpired, and finally made the subject happy with her children.Keywords: Meaning of life; children as sexual abuse victims; mothers’ meaning of life.
