Madrasah play a crucial role in shaping the religious education and social fabric of Afghan society, yet they often encounter challenges in effectively implementing modern management principles to optimize their educational outcomes and overall organizational efficiency.Drawing on a comparative approach, this research assesses the key management strategies and systems currently implemented in Islamic schools or Madrasah in Indonesia, a country with a rich tradition of Islamic education and a strong foundation in modern management practices. By analyzing the successful methods employed in these Indonesian educational institutions, this study aims to identify adaptable strategies that can be integrated into the context of Afghanistan's Madrasah management.This research adopts an analytical and comparative approach to examine the organizational structures, pedagogical methodologies, and administrative frameworks of Madrasah both in Afghanistan and Indonesia.The anticipated outcomes of this research are twofold: first, to establish an empirical foundation for understanding the current management practices in Afghan Madrasah, identifying potential challenges and areas for improvement; and second, to present evidence-based recommendations for the integration of successful management techniques from Indonesian Islamic schools. These findings will not only benefit the respective educational institutions but also contribute to the broader discourse on Islamic education management in the global context.The study acknowledges the contextual differences between Afghanistan and Indonesia and the potential cultural and social factors that may influence the implementation of management strategies. Therefore, the research will also explore strategies for adapting and contextualizing the Indonesian management models to suit the unique needs and challenges faced by Afghan Madrasah.The significance of this research lies in its potential to foster improvements in Madrasah education in Afghanistan, thereby contributing to the development of human resources, community building, and overall societal progress. Additionally, the study seeks to promote intercultural exchange and learning between Afghanistan and Indonesia, facilitating cross-border collaboration in the field of Islamic education management. Authors:Sayid Ahmad Ramadhan, Khairil Anwar, Makmur Harun Abstract: Abstrak: Tarekat sebagai bagian dari tasawuf syari’at Islam menempati posisi penting bagi peradaban umat Islam sejak dulu sampai saat ini karena telah memengaruhi beragam sisi kehidupan mulai dari tata cara peribadatan, sosial, pendidikan hingga politik. Corak ajaran tarekat pun beragam tergantung pada guru/syeikh/mursyid masing-masing, namun dapat diklasifikasikan secara umum menjadi tiga macam yakni: a. tarekat Falsafi, b. tarekat Akhlaqi, dan c. tarekat Amali. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian pustaka (library research) dengan pendekatan deskriptif dan analisisnya sosio-holistik. Adapun untuk fokus penelitian yakni mengarah dan bermaksud mendeskripsikan corak ajaran tarekat dan perilaku keseharian pengamal tarekat di Kalimantan Tengah dan Kalimantan Selatan. Hasil penelitian ditemukan corak ajaran tarekat yang tumbuh dan berkembang di wilayah Kalimantan Tengah dan Kalimantan Selatan cenderung ke arah jenis tarekat akhlaqi dan amali serta ke arah tarekat falsafi. Adapun untuk perilaku keseharian pengamal tarekat dapat dilihat dan dikategorikan mulai tata berbicara, berpakaian, sampai praktik peribadatan ada yang menampilkan bahwa dirinya pengamal tarekat, ada juga memilih menyembunyikannya. Kemudian ada juga pengamal tarekat yang konsisten dengan satu ajaran tarekat yang ia ikuti sejak awal, ada juga yang mengamalkan lebih dari satu ajaran tarekat serta ada juga orang awam (umum) yang mengamalkan ajaran tarekat karena menonton acara pengajian di dunia maya (media sosial) seperti YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok, dan rekaman video namun tidak pernah sama sekali mengikuti tarekat. Kata Kunci: Tarekat, Corak Ajaran, Perilaku Pengamal Tarekat. Abstract: Tarekat as part of the Islamic sharia sufism occupies an important position for the civilization of the Muslims from the past to the present because it has influenced various aspects of life ranging from worship, social, educational to political ordinances. Doctrinal patterns tarekat also varies depending on the respective guru/sheikh/mursyid, however, it can be classified in general into three types, namely: a. tarekat Falsafi, b. tarekat Akhlaqi, dan c. tarekat Amali.This research uses library research methods with a descriptive approach and the analysis is socio-holistic. As for the focus of research, it is to lead and intend to describe the pattern of teachings tarekat and the daily behavior of the practitioner tarekat at Kalimantan Tengah dan Kalimantan Selatan. The results of the study found the pattern of teachings tarekat which grows and develops in wilayah Kalimantan Tengah dan Kalimantan Selatan Tend towards the breed tarekat akhlaqi dan amali as well as towards tarekat falsafi. As for the daily behavior of the practitioner tarekat viewable and categorized mulai tata speaking, dressing, and worship practices some show that he is a practitioner tarekat, there is also a choice to hide it. Then there are also practitioners tarekat which is consistent with one teaching tarekat which he followed in the first place, there are also those who practice more than one teaching tarekat and there are also laymen (general) who practice the teachings tarekat because watching recitation events in cyberspace (social media) such as YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok, and recordings video yet never followed at all tarekat. Meanwhile, intolerance occurs due to a complete understanding of religion and considering the truth to only belong to one group. Contemporary scholars interpret ḥifẓ al-dīn as freedom of religion and belief. Through literature study, this article discusses contextualizing the meaning of ḥifẓ al-dīn and its relation to religious moderation in Indonesia. This paper finds that ritualist and radical religious expressions contradict the concepts of harmony and freedom in choosing beliefs as mandated by law. Authors:Teten Jalaludin Hayat, Ma’sum Anshori Pages: 88 - 110 Abstract: Since the beginning, Islam has promised universal and global goodness (raḣmah li al-‘ālamīn). It's just that in reality the goodness was still particular and local. This imbalance is caused by an unequal understanding between the dimensions of exoteric fiqh (body) and esoteric sufism (mind) which represents the human condition which consists of body and mind. Thus, this research is aimed at explaining the universality of Islam for global goodness through integration between both dimensions. This research is a library research. The method used is the thematic method, to explore and confirm a theory to its deepest intent. The analytical tool used for this purpose is content analysis. The results of the analysis show that the fiqh-exoteric dimension will produce physical goodness (maqāṣid al-syarī’ah), and the sufism-esoteric dimension will produce spiritual goodness (maqashid al-ṣūfiyyah), so that with the integration of the two, the goal of Islamic universality (maqashid al-dīniyyah) will be born. Authors:Muhammad Fahmi Al-Amruzi, Ergina Faralita Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan konsep dan kehidupan rumah tangga santri pondok pesantren yang telah melakukan pernikahan. Penelitian ini berusaha untuk melihat para santri di beberapa Pesantren di Kalimantan Selatan yang mendapatkan izin dari Kiyai (guru). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini lebih pada kajian lapangan dengan pendekatan deskriptif-kualitatif dengan lokasi penelitian di Kalimantan Selatan dengan perwakilan setiap pesantren yang diteliti adalah pimpinan, guru, dan santri yang melangsungkan pernikahan pada masa sekolah di pesantren. Hasil temuan penelitian ini adalah bahwa pernikahan yang dilakukan oleh santri bedasarkan asas hukum dan Undang-undang Pernikahan, meskipun ada juga yang sirri. Alasan pernikahan tersebut karena khawatir dengan masa pergaulan bebas sekarang ini dan menjaga santri agar tetap focus dalam mengembangkan keilmuannya. This study aims to find the concept and household life of Islamic boarding school students who have married. This research attempts to look at the students in several Islamic boarding schools in South Kalimantan who have obtained permission from the kiyai (teacher). The method used in this research is more of a field study with a descriptive-qualitative approach with research locations in South Kalimantan with representatives of each pesantren studied being leaders, teachers, and students who married during their school years at the pesantren. The findings of this study are that marriages carried out by santri are based on legal principles and the Marriage Law, although there are also those who are sirri. The reason for the marriage was because they were worried about the current promiscuity period and keeping the students focused on developing their knowledge.
