- IMPLEMENTATION OF MORAL VALUES THROUGH SHORT STORY BOOK “TESTING
HONESTY” BY LARA FIRDANA IN EARLY CHILDREN Authors: Nurma Annisa Azzahra Pages: 168 - 177 Abstract: Early childhood is in a golden age throughout the age range of human development. This period is a sensitive period, during this time the child is especially easy to receive stimuli from the environment. There are six aspects of development in early childhood that must be stimulated so that early childhood development can develop optimally. One of the efforts that educators and parents can do is to familiarize children with moral values. Moral is behavior about good or bad that will be accepted through one's actions, attitudes, obligations, morals and character. Each page of the short story contains values that can be applied to children, one of which is moral values. Children will benefit from the moral message conveyed by the author of the story content of a short story. This research was conducted using a qualitative method with a descriptive approach aimed at analyzing the intrinsic elements of the mandate and moral values of the short story. The results of the short story analysis show that there are four moral values conveyed from short stories that test honesty, namely family morals, honesty morals, curiosity morals, and social care morals. - Organizational Changes and Development in Islamic Education Institutions
Post Covid-19 Pandemic Authors: Cecep Nikmatullah, Badrudin Badrudin, Anis Fauzi Pages: 96 - 114 Abstract: The purpose of this research is the importance of organizational change and development in improving the organization's ability to adapt to environmental changes. This qualitative research with a literature approach is sourced from various literatures; journal articles, reference books, textbooks, and related documents. The findings show that organizational change and development in Islamic educational institutions after the COVID-19 pandemic can be designed through three aspects; changing attitudes/values, modifying behavior, and encouraging structural and policy changes. So it is necessary to develop organizational leadership to influence people to behave in accordance with the expectations of the leader, and adapt to the strategic environment of the organization. Post-pandemic, Islamic educational institutions must be oriented to three things; the use of Islamic reasoning based on the Qur'an and hadith, human resources (human needs), and technology. Online learning has a positive impact, teachers and students no longer rely on face-to-face learning because they are used to doing distance learning. The challenges of Islamic Educational Institutions in overcoming organizational change and development are; (1) consider the fundamental role. (2) pay attention to the function of the instrument as an educational tool. (3) there is a constructive role. - Creativity Development Of Early Grades Elementary School Teachers In
Learning Activities Authors: Miftachudin Miftachudin Pages: 115 - 126 Abstract: The purpose of this research is the importance of creativity development of early grades elementary school teacher in learning activities to improve student creativity. Learning activities aim to make children able to achieve the learning goals. Impressive learning will encourage children’s enthusiasm to study well. This paper is qualitative research, where the data are obtained from observation, interview, and documentation. The results of this study indicate four aspects of creativity. First, the personal aspect, creative teachers are people who have strong intrinsic motivation, and extrinsic motivation as supporter. Individuals must have skills to support their creativity, as well as literacy, knowledge, technique, and interpersonal skills. Second, the process is a way of thinking to solve problems (clarifier, ideator, developer, and implementer). Third, press is support from the environment, as well as superiors, colleagues, resources, best practices and so on. Fourth, product of creativity in the form of ideas, physical objects, and processes/methods. The form of creativity products in learning activities are in the form of learning media, learning methods, and educational props. Understanding four aspects of creativity will give new and fresh idea to make creative learning for children, so that children will enjoy the learning activities and become creative students. - Character Building: Internalization of Religious Values in Institutions

The focus of this paper is the internalization of religious values carried out on students at the Pontianak Special Child Development Institute. The purpose of this study is to find the cultivation of religious values in a special child development institution in Pontianak. The results of this study show that the internalization of religious values is carried out in several religious activities such as: congregational dzuhur prayers, Friday prayers, dhuha prayers, Saturday recitations, joint recitations, recitations in the month of Ramadan, and Islamic holidays. The activity aims to generate individual and social piety of students. Piety that students have as capital to gain re-admission in the community for criminal acts that have been committed. Individual and social piety is a religious habitus instilled in students through cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects to rationally make students aware of the social capital that will be received by society when they leave the special child development institution in Pontianak. This writing is a qualitative descriptive research where data is obtained based on the results of interviews, observations, and documentation at the research site. - Using A Genre-Based Approach To Improving Islamic University Students’
Writing Ability & Hots Authors: Muhammad Guntur, Mustafa Mustafa Pages: 139 - 150 Abstract: This study aims to determine the effect of genre-based and conventional approaches on students' writing skills and HOTS. This study uses a quantitative design with a quasi-experimental method conducted at IAIN Palopo, South Sulawesi, Indonesia. Sixty-two students from two classes were selected as research participants by dividing them into two groups, namely the experimental and control groups. Data were collected using two instruments: the writing assessment rubric and HOTS. The data that has been collected is then analyzed quantitatively by running the MANOVA test on SPSS 24.00. The results showed that the genre-based approach in the experimental group outperformed the control group, which used the conventional method to improve students' writing skills and HOTS. - Policy Analysis Of Competence Development Of Civil Servants Through
Education Authors: Adi Mulyono Pages: 151 - 167 Abstract: The development of the competence of civil servants (PNS) is guaranteed in Law Number 5 of 2014. Technically this policy is regulated in the Circular Letter of the Minister of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform (MENPAN RB) Number 28 of 2021. This policy is a general policy, giving rise to challenges in its implementation for Ministries, Institutions, Local Governments (K/L/D), civil servants, and the State Civil Service Agency (BKN) or Menpan RB as regulators and implementers of education policies for civil servants. This research is a public policy analysis process, the analysis is carried out qualitatively with a scenario writing approach. The author is of the opinion that the existing policies still have aspects that need to be clarified by regulators, both Menpan RB and BKN and at the same time translated by K/L/D in their operational policies. Policy formulation offered: Strict acknowledgment of education for civil servants who completed their education before 1 year to become civil servants because they studied before being civil servants. The assignment of study assignments must be in line with the Human Resource Development Program and be carefully formulated, trimming the bureaucratic path for determining study assignments by integrating the release of temporary positions, and determining study assignment allowances for state lecturers. available data on legality and accreditation of study programs that can be chosen by civil servants. the accessibility of accredited study programs can be expanded by the availability of valid distance classes or weekend classes and temporary transfer of civil servants to other work units close to the study location. A measured period of study is required followed by a tightening of obligations. a policy from BKN or Menpan RB is needed regarding the model, time frame, and implementation of the re-entry program. The opportunity for recognition of PNS Degrees/Education Improvement is formulated by BKN to ensure legal certainty for the recognition of PNS titles. Sungai Besar Besar Darat Authors: Abdullah Abdullah Pages: 178 - 191 Abstract: This research was highly intention by the researcher's interest in social life and Islamic education on ethnic Madurese and Malays in the Sungai Besar, Darat Besar. Although there have been ethnic conflicts in several areas in West Kalimantan, but it contrast to the two ethnic groups namely Malay and Madurese in the area in Sungai Pinyuh Subdistrict and Sungai Besar, Darat Besar. Both ethnic relations are fairly good (harmonious). The focus of this research was to describe how Islamic Education has big influence in people social life. The method in this research was descriptive with qualitative research form and historical approach. The subjects of this research are religious leaders, local political figures, government officials, Karang Taruna community, BPD and Madurese and Malay Communities. The data in this research study was interviews and documentation. Data collection techniques conducted in this research used data reduction, data presentation and drawing the conclusion. The result of this study is the education and social condition of the community seems very good, with harmony atmosphere in society. In Sungai Bakau Besar Darat, even though they are have different ethnicities and religions, but they can live in harmony, as the way to live together peacefully. - Improving Children’s Cognitive Skills Through the Stone in Early
Childhood Authors: St. Maria Ulfah, Asdar Asdar Pages: 192 - 205 Abstract: This study aims to determine whether cognitive abilities be increased through stone media in early childhood. The formulation of the problem in this study is whether cognitive ability can be increased through stone media in Fathina Kindergarten. The subjects or informants of the study were children from the Fathina Kindergarten, Majene Regency, as many as 20 people. This research was carried out in the odd semester of the 2021/2022 academic year, which took place from August to October and was carried out at Fathina Kindergarten, Majene Regency. The Concept of addition and subtraction through stone media at Fathina Kindergarten, Majene Regency, is experimental classroom action research (CAR). Experimental classroom action research is classroom action research conducted by trying to apply various techniques/strategies effectively and efficiently in a teaching and learning process activity, in this case, through the assignment method. Based on the results of research that has been carried out in Group B of Fathina Kindergarten with 20 students, increasing the ability through stone media has increased with the percentage value of 80%. From the results of the Classroom Action Research conducted by the researcher, namely increasing the ability through stone media, it can increase in Group B in Fathina Kindergarten.
