      Abstract: This research is motivated by the rise of online gambling in the community, especially among teenagers. Online gambling has a lot of negative impacts on the perpetrators, so this study will discuss the impact of online gambling on teenagers in Tebing Tinggi City. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with descriptive data analysis, by conducting in-depth interviews with five teenagers in Tebing Tinggi City and exploring all sources related to the impact of online gambling. Adolescence is commonly referred to as the transition period from childhood to adulthood. Where in this period of adolescence, they want to show their existence, one of which is by joining in doing various things for the sake of satisfaction and pleasure, regardless of the impact that will occur. Online gambling is included in deviant behavior that exists in the community and most of those who play it are teenagers. Teenagers initially play online gambling out of curiosity and want to join in, but this can make them addicted because of the hope of winning. The results of this study indicate that online gambling has a lot of negative impacts. Among them are the social impact, namely being lazy to get along, the material impact, namely if they experience defeat, their money will run out, the religious impact, namely they will neglect to worship because they play online gambling, and the achievement impact, namely their learning achievement will decrease because they are lazy to study due to online gambling.

  • Implementasi Client Centered Theraphy Sebagai Asistensi Perilaku Negatif
           Siswa

      Abstract: This article aims to describe the implementation of the client centered therapy approach as an effort to assist students in the negative behavior of students in one of the Islamic boarding schools in the city of Kisaran. This research is motivated by the many negative behaviors carried out by students in schools such as violating various school rules and regulations, fighting teachers, etc. This research uses descriptive qualitative method with case study type. The data analysis technique is done by reducing the data, presenting the data and drawing conclusions. Meanwhile, the data validity technique uses the credibility test with the type of triangulation. The results showed that: 1) forms of negative behavior carried out by students were truancy, lying sick so as not to participate in learning in class, violating school rules such as leaving the boarding school environment without the knowledge and permission of the ustadz or cleric in the dormitory, bringing communication tools such as (mobile phones) into the dormitory, fighting with friends, dating in the school environment and fighting with the teacher, there are 2 trigger factors for students to behave negatively, namely internal factors and external factors, 3) based on the results of observations stated that client centered therapy is said to be enough to provide good changes to changes in students' negative behavior. Based on this, the researcher recommends the counseling guidance teachers to collaborate with client centered therapy techniques with other counseling approaches so that it will be more possible for the success of the counseling process to be carried out.

  • Layanan Konsultasi Melalui Parental Mediation untuk Meningkatkan Literasi
           Digital Siswa

      Abstract: This study aims to describe consulting services through parental mediation strategies as an effort to improve students’ digital literacy. This is achieved through the library method by reading relevant data sources related to the themes of consulting services, parental mediation, and digital literacy. The information obtained is analyzed, recorded, and processed by in-depth content analysis and written in a narrative manner into the research results. The results of the study show that consulting services with parental mediation can be used to help improve students’ understanding of digital literacy. Service implementation is carried out through: (1) introduction stage; (2) situation description/ problem identification and analysis of problems; (3) the selection of solutions and how to use them; (4) demonstration of the selected solution; (5) conducting training and feedback; (6) giving homework; (7) evaluating the process and results and (8) terminating the consulting relationship. The implications of the study are to strengthen the role of school collaboration with parents in children's education and increase positive internet skills in students when learning at home.

  • Efektifitass Layanan Konseling Kelompok dalam Menigkatkan Self Adjustment
           Santri Kelas VII Pondok Pesantren An-Nur Tangkit Muaro Jambi

      Abstract: This research is based on the phenomenon that occurred at Pondok Pesantren An-Nur Tangkit, it appears that new students have difficulty in adapting. Some students were caught running away from the Islamic boarding school without permission from the caregivers because they admitted that they did not feel comfortable living in the Islamic boarding school environment which bound the students with many rules. The purpose of this experimental study was to see the extent to which group counseling services were effective in increasing the Self Adjustment of class VII students at the An-Nur Tangkit Islamic Boarding School, Muaro Jambi. The research method used in this study is a research experiment with a quantitative approach. The research design used was Quasi Experimental Design, while the research design used one group pretest post-test. Through this design, the study was conducted in only one group by taking two measurements, namely O1 (pre-test) to measure the level of Self Adjustment of students before being given group counseling services. The results showed that group counseling services could improve the Self Adjustment of class VII students at Pondok Pesantren An-Nur Tangkit Muaro Jambi.

      Abstract: In the field of Islamic counseling guidance is very important in the world of education, including one of them is an educator or a teacher in schools because almost all of them educate a student and contribute to forming a superior character and becoming a person who has better development in his life. In addition, students need an increase in the potential of religious characters in their school environment. Therefore, it is necessary to have innovations to implement and develop Islamic counseling guidance in cultivating the form of students' religious character in the school environment. In the implementation, it is something that has been designed well and thoroughly, and in the implementation of these innovations in accordance with the plans that have been agreed upon by other educators in guiding the character of students. It is hoped that with this journal, it is expected to be able to move the religious character of students through debriefing and Islamic counseling guidance which will later give birth to intelligent students and implement learning in everyday life with a religious character.

      Abstract: This study aims to analyze how Islamic counseling guidance deals with student academic stress during the Covid 19 pandemic. Corona Virus Disease 19 or commonly referred to as Covid 19 has affected every line of life without exception in the field of education. The method used in this study is research literature based on scientific articles, books and reports related to the research topic. The results showed that there were several factors behind the occurrence of academic stress in students. Islamic counseling guidance is intended to strengthen the religious nature of students. If a teacher, especially a PAI teacher, has the skills and is able to implement aspects of monotheism, moral aspects, aspects of worship, personal aspects, social aspects and academic aspects of Islamic Counseling Guidance to their students, then the academic stress that is motivated by the problems caused by the Covid 19 pandemic that has caused analyzed from several journals will be resolved slowly. Islamic Counseling Guidance can foster the mental health of students, form a positive personality in accordance with the guidance of the Qur'an and Hadith.

      Abstract: This research to reveal how the BK teacher's role in managing student studies time at SMP Negeri 1 Aek Ledong during the Covid-19 pandemic. From the data collected, it was obtained information that during the Covid-19 pandemic, it was difficult for students to manage study time, both at school and at home. Many schools were also closed due to the impact of this pandemic, so students experienced delays in providing learning materials at school. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach, data collection techniques are carried out through interview guidelines, observation guidelines, and distributing questionnaires. The subjects of the research were headmaster, the BK teacher and 35 students in grade IX. The results of this study showed that the role of guidance and counseling teachers in managing student study time at SMP Negeri 1 Aek Ledong during the Covid-19 pandemic was in good condition.

For this reason, researchers are interested in how orphanage children regulate themselves in online learning and are not stressed with the conditions at the Aisiyah Curup Orphanage. The research methodology is descriptive qualitative, where data will be collected with the interview dept (in-depth interview) and presented descriptively. The result is that strengthening self-regulation, namely metacognition, motivation and behavior, already existed during the Covid 19 pandemic, but decreased compared to before the Covid 19 pandemic. Limited facilities and family motivation were felt to be lacking, because during the pandemic the nursing home did not receive guests from outside and they behaved well with a pattern the same according to the schedule of daily routine activities arranged by the orphanage.

      Abstract: This article discusses someone who enters his early teens experiencing problems in his self-concept, this is caused by personal or environmental reasons. Therefore, it is not uncommon for them to withdraw from the new environment, as happened in Islamic boarding schools. Not a few new students at junior high school age who enter Islamic boarding schools experience difficulties in adjusting themselves. The purpose of this research is to help new students overcome adjustment problems in their new environment, as well as provide an understanding regarding adjustment. Counselors help overcome the problems faced by these new students by providing individual counseling services using a client centered approach. The counseling stages carried out by the assessment, the work stage, and the evaluation. Therefore, the research method used is descriptive qualitative, because the approach used is a case study. Data collection techniques used are interviews and observation. The conclusion obtained is that new students need an introduction to their new environment, as well as being given motivation and assistance so they don't withdraw from their environment.

      Abstract: This research is motivated by students who have not been able to overcome learning difficulties at SD Muhammadiyah 1 Marapalam Padang. The purpose of this study is to describe the difficulties in learning to read, write and count.This research use desciptive qualitative approach. The instruments used in the research are observation, interviews and documentation of the cases seen. The technique used in data processing is through data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Techniques for data validity, trustworthiness, transferability, reliability. The results of this study indicate that students who have learning difficulties are: 1. Students' learning difficulties in reading occur because students do not repeat lessons at home such as reading, students experience poor vision and hearing. 2 Students' learning difficulties in writing occur because students do not practice writing at home and have blurred vision and 3. Students' learning difficulties in counting occur because of doubts in recognizing mathematical symbols and lack of practice at home. Based on the results of the study, it is recommended for parents to pay more attention to students at home so that learning difficulties experienced by students can be overcome.

      Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the attitude of the correctional advisor towards correctional clients at the Bapas Kelas I in Palangka Raya. For this type of research, the research method used is a qualitative method which seeks to describe the actual situation in the field where the observations were made. Sources of data obtained from interviews and observations of five informants who are correctional advisors with certain age criteria and the work experience of the informants while serving as correctional advisor. From these data sources, it was found that the attitude of the correctional advisor towards the correctional client refers to attitude indicators such as the cognitive aspect, namely the assessment of the correctional advisor to the correctional client is an individual who is lost and is having problems so that in the end they had to deal with the law. In the affective aspect, it is implemented into various emotions such as sad, happy, angry, etc., these emotions arise after the correctional advisor carries out guidance with the correctional client. Then the cognitive aspect is implemented into action resulting in the attitude of the correctional advisor when helping the problem solving process of the correctional client.

      Abstract: This research is motivated by the presence of students who are less able to manage emotions during online learning and the absence of an IT-based emotional intelligence development program as an effort to implement the 4.0 industrial revolution era in schools. The purpose of this research is to test the effectiveness of the emotional intelligence development program in the resilience abilities of participants. educated in the form of IT. The type of research used is experimental. The population in this study were 70 students of class XI IPS. Sampling in this study used total sampling with a sample of 35 students in the experimental group and 35 students in the control group. The results showed that: An effective information technology-based emotional intelligence development program significantly improves the resilience abilities of students in class XI IPS MAN 1 Padang. This can be proven by the results of hypothesis testing which shows that the significance value obtained is 0.035 which is smaller than the 0.050 significance determination.
