  • Penggunaan Terapi Status Ego dalam Konseling Perorangan Berbasis Islami
           untuk Mengendalikan Emosi Diri

      Abstract: Emosi merupakan ekspresi yang dimiliki setiap individu dan disalurkan kepada subjek atau objek tertentu. Berbagai jenis emosi perlu diekspresikan dengan cara yang tepat dalam setiap kondisi demi terwujudnya kehidupan efektif sehari-hari. Ekspresi emosi yang tidak tepat  dapat diatasi dengan pendekatan psikologi konseling juga melalui pendekatan religius. Penelitian ini bermaksud untuk menggambarkan penggunaan terapi status ego berbasis islami dalam membantu pengendalian emosi konseli melalui layanan konseling perorangan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi kasus. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah seorang laki-laki berusia 24 tahun yang memiliki masalah pengendalian emosi akibat pengalaman traumatis di masa lalu. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara konseling, dan dokumentasi. Treatment yang dilakukan pada konseli menggunakan terapi status ego dengan orientasi islami. Hasilnya, klien mengalami perubahan dalam mengekspresikan emosi negatif yang mengalami konflik menjadi normal dan dapat diterima secara normatif. Penggunaan layanan konseling perorangan dengan terapi status ego berbasis islami ini dapat diterapkan pada klien untuk mampu memaknai dengan jelas emosinya dan dapat menyalurkannya dengan perilaku yang dapat diterima. Emotions are expressions that each individual has and are channeled to a particular subject or object. Various types of emotions need to be expressed in the right way in every condition for the realization of effective everyday life. Emotional expressions that are not right can be overcome by counseling psychology approaches also through religious approaches. This study intends to illustrate the use of Islamic-based ego status therapy in assisting emotional control of counselees through individual counseling services. The method used in this research is a case study. The subject in this study was a 24-year-old male who had emotional control problems due to traumatic experiences in the past. Data collection techniques are done by observation, counseling interviews, and documentation. Treatment is carried out on counselees using ego status therapy with Islamic orientation. As a result, clients experience changes in expressing negative emotions that experience conflict to be normal and can be accepted normatively. The use of individual counseling services with Islamic-based ego status therapy can be applied to clients to be able to clearly interpret their emotions and can channel them with acceptable behavior.

  • Pengembangan Buku Panduan Konseling Cognitive Behavior Untk Meningkatkan
           Self Esteem Siswa SMA: Studi Analisis Validitas Teoretik

      Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan menguji kelayakan buku panduan konseling cognitive behavior untuk meningkatkan self esteem siswa SMA. Buku panduan ini merupakan instrumen bagi guru BK dalam menyelenggarakan layanan bimbingan konseling di sekolah. Prosedur pengembangan dalam penelitian ini mengikuti model pengembangan 4D yang dikemukakan oleh Thiagarajan (1974) yang terbatas hanya pada pengujian validasi isi. Lima orang pakar dan praktisi bimbingan konseling dilibatkan untuk menilai kelayakan buku panduan. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penilaian terdiri dari 22 item yang mengacu pada keterimaan buku panduan. Analisis hasil penilaian menggunakan formulasi perhitungan content validity ratio dari Lawshe.Hasil analisis menunjukkan buku panduan konseling cognitive behavior memiliki indeks validitas isi (CVI) sebesar 0,94 yang berarti sangat baik atau istimewa.Berdasarkan hasil tersebut maka buku panduan konseling cognitive behavior untuk meningkatkan self esteem siswa SMA yang dikembangkan dalam penelitian ini telah memenuhi kriteria kelayakan untuk digunakan sebagai instrumen dalam melaksanakan layanan bimbingan konseling khususnya dalam penggunaan konseling cognitive behavior dalam meningkatkan self esteem siswa SMA. This study aims to develop and test the feasibility of cognitive behavior counseling guidebooks to improve the self-esteem of high-school students. This guidebook is an instrument for BK teachers in providing counseling guidance services in schools. The development procedure in this study follows the 4D development model proposed by Thiagarajan (1974) which is limited only to content validation testing. Five experts and guidance counseling practitioners were involved to assess the feasibility of the guidebook. The instrument used in the assessment consisted of 22 items that referred to the acceptance of the guidebook. Analysis of the assessment results using the formulation calculation of the content validity ratio from Lawshe. The results of the analysis showed the cognitive behavior counseling guidebook has a content validity index (CVI) of 0.94, which means very good or special. Based on these results the cognitive behavior counseling guidebook to improve self-esteem this study has fulfilled the eligibility criteria to be used as an instrument in implementing counseling guidance services, especially in the use of cognitive behavior counseling in improving the self-esteem of high-school students

  • Resiliensi Mahasiswa dalam Menghadapi Pandemi Covid 19 dan Implikasinya
           terhadap Proses Pembelajaran

      Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran resiliensi mahasiswa dalam mengahadapi pandemi covid 19 di kota Palembang. Jenis penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa aktif tahun pertama di seluruh Universitas di Kota Palembang dengan sampel 260 mahasiswa. Pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen resiliensi yang dianalisis dengan menggunakan rumus distribusi frekuensi dan presentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa skor tertinggi mahasiswa berada pada kriteria sedang dengan nilai 53%, dilanjutkan dengan kriteria rendah 24% dan tinggi 23%. Rata-rata gambaran resiliensi mahasiswa di kota Palembang berada pada pada kategori sedang artinya mahasiswa masih gelisah dalam menghadapi masalah-masalah selama melakukan proses pembelajaran dari rumah, mahasiswa masih belum mampu menganalisa dengan baik masalah tersebut, masih memiliki rasa empati yang rendah dengan lingkungan sekitarnya namun mahasiswa memiliki keyakinan yang tinggi bahwa pandemi ataupun masalah-masalah yang sedang dihadapi akan mampu diselesaikan dengan baik, dan mahasiswa memiliki keinginan untuk mengoptimalkan kemampuannya agar mendapatkan hasil yang maksimal. This study aims to determine the description of student resilience in dealing with the pandemic covid 19 in the city of Palembang. This type of research uses quantitative descriptive methods. The population in this study were all first year active students in all universities in the city of Palembang with a sample of 260 students. Data collection using resilience instruments were analyzed using the formula of frequency distribution and percentage. The results showed that the highest score of students was in the medium criteria 53%, a low of 24% and a high of 23%. Profil of students resilience in the medium category. The meaning is students are restless in dealing with problems during the learning from home, students are unable to properly analyze the problem, have a low empathy feeling with the environment but they confidence that the pandemic or the problems can be resolved properly, and students will optimize their abilities to get maximum results.

  • Coming Out pada Kaum Lesbian di Semarang

      Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses coming out pada kaum lesbian di Semarang. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah individu-individu yang sudah mengidentifikasikan dirinya sebagai lesbian, berusia 18-22 tahun, berdomisili di daerah Semarang dan Kab. Semarang, telah melakukan coming out di media sosial, orang tua, dan lingkungan masyarakat, dan telah bergabung dalam komunitas lesbi di Semarang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan etnografi yang bertujuan agar data yang didapatkan lebih terperinci. Peneliti menggunakan wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, paparan data, dan penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi.Berdasarkan informasi yang didapat dari hasil penelitian dan pembahasan, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa dalam proses coming out melalui beberapa tahap yaitu awareness, exploration, acceptance, commitment dan integration Dalam proses tersebut terjadi ketika subjek sedang mengenyam bangku sekolah. Guru Bimbingan dan Konseling mendapatkan peran penting untuk mampu mengidentifikasi peserta didik yang berorientasi homoseksual. This study aims to determine the process of lesbians coming out in Semarang. The subjects of this study were individuals who have identifiedthemselves as lesbians, aged 18-22 years, domiciled in Semarang andSemarang Regency, which have coming out on social media, parents, and the community, have joined the lesbian community in Semarang. This study used a qualitative method with an ethnographic approach in order to obtain more detailed data. Researchers used interviews, observation and documentation study. Data analysistechnique uses datareduction, data display and conclusion drawin and verifying. Based on information which has obtained from the results of the research and discussion, it could be concluded that in the process of coming out through several stages, namely awareness, exploration, acceptance, commitment and integration. In the process occurs when the subject is attending at school. Guidance and Counseling teachers have an important role in being able to identify homosexsual-oriented students

  • Hubungan antara Mindfulness dan Dispositional Forgiveness pada Remaja
           dengan Orang Tua Bercerai

      Abstract: Perceraian adalah pemutusan hubungan pernikahan secara legal. Dampak dari perceraian bukan hanya dirasakan oleh suami dan istri, namun juga oleh anak dari keluarga itu termasuk mereka yang sedang dalam tahap perkembangan remaja. Remaja membutuhkan dispositional forgiveness untuk dapat mengurangi resiko akibat perasaan negatif yang dirasakan. Pada konteks ini dispositional forgiveness pada remaja dikaitkan dengan sikap mindfulness remaja mengenai kondisi keluarga setelah perceraian orang tuanya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat apakah terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara mindfulness dan dispositional forgiveness pada remaja dengan orang tua bercerai. Partisipan penelitian ini adalah 54 remaja berusia 15-21 tahun yang mengalami perceraian orang tua dalam rentang usia 12-21 tahun. Teknik sampling yang digunakan untuk mencari partisipan adalah convenience sampling. Alat ukur 15-items Five Facets of Mindfulness dan Heartland Forgiveness Scale digunakan untuk menjawab tujuan penelitian. Uji korelasi dilakukan terhadap data yang diperoleh dari kedua alat ukur ini. Hasil uji korelasi menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara mindfulness dan dispositional forgiveness pada remaja dengan orang tua bercerai. Mindfulness dapat membantu individu untuk mengidentifikasi dan menerima perasaan serta pikirannya sehingga membantu terjadinya dispositional forgiveness dalam individu. Peneliti menjabarkan beberapa saran yang penting untuk dipertimbangkan untuk penelitian selanjutnya. Divorce is the legal dissolution of a marital relationship. Divorce does not only affect both husband and wife, but also the children, including those who’s going through adolescence. In order to decrease the detrimental effect caused by the negative feelings towards their parents’ divorce, adolescents need to have dispositional forgiveness. In this context, dispositional forgiveness in adolescent can be related to mindfulness about their family condition after the divorce. The purpose of this study is to see whether there is a significant relationship between mindfulness and dispositional forgiveness among adolescents of divorced parents. The participants of this study were 54 middle and late adolescents that went through parental divorcement in the age of 12-21. The participants were obtained by convenience sampling technique. Fifteen items Five Facets of Mindfulness and Heartland Forgiveness Scale were used to answer the purpose of this study.  A correlational test was performed to analyze data. Correlation test results show that there is a significant relationship between mindfulness and dispositional forgiveness among adolescents of divorced parents. Mindfulness can help adolescents identify and accept their feelings and thoughts, which can lead into dispositional forgiveness in adolescents. Researcher outlined some important suggestions to be considered for future research.

  • Hubungan Kontrol Diri dengan Perilaku Disiplin Tata Tertib Sekolah pada
           Siswa SMA

      Abstract: Banyaknya perilaku ketidakdisiplinan dikalangan siswa menjadikan perilaku ketidakdisiplinan penting untuk dieksplorasi lebih lanjut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi hubungan kontrol diri dengan perilaku disiplin tata tertib sekolah pada siswa SMA. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian ex post facto. Alat pengumpul data menggunakan skala psikologi perilaku disiplin dengan tingkat signifikansi antara 0,000-0,038, reliabitas alpha 0,929, dan skala kontrol diri dengan tingkat signifikansi antara 0,000-0,030, reliabitas alpha 0,924. Sampel yang terlibat 135 siswa dari populasi 214 siswa dengan teknik pengambilan sampel proportionate stratified random sampling. Adapun teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis korelasi product moment. Hasil analisis deskriptif kuantitatif menunjukkan bahwa tingkat perilaku disiplin tata tertib sekolah maupun kontrol diri berada pada kategori sedang (M= 124,44 SD= 20,995; M= 118,65 SD= 11,472), begitu pula hubungan kontrol diri dengan perilaku disiplin tata tertib sekolah pada siswa SMA memiliki hubungan yang signifikan (r= 0.668, p <0,001). Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, maka guru BK diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kontrol diri siswa dengan harapan agar siswa dapat berperilaku sesuai dengan tata tertib yang berlaku di lingkungan sekolah. High frequency of indisciplinary behavior among students makes it important to explore further indiscipline behavior. This research aims to identify the relationship of self-control with disciplinary behavior in high school students. This research uses an ex post facto research design. The data collection uses a psychological behavior discipline scale with a significance level between 0,000-0,038, reliability alpha 0,929, and self-control scale with a significance level between 0,000-0,030, alpha reliability 0,924. The sample involved 135 students from a population of 214 students with proportionate stratified random sampling technique. The data analysis technique uses product moment correlation analysis. The results of the quantitative descriptive analysis showed that the level of discipline in school and self-control was in the moderate category (M = 124.44 SD = 20.995; M = 118.65 SD = 11.472), as was the relationship between self-control and discipline behavior in school High school students had a significant relationship (r = 0.668, p <0.001). Based on these results, the BK teacher’s expected to improve student self-control so that students can behave in accordance with the rules that apply in the school environment.

  • Indikator Dominan pada Perilaku Kompulsif Remaja dalam Mengakses Internet

      Abstract: Perilaku kompulsif dalam mengakses internet merupakan tahap ‘transisi’ yang memiliki karakteristik psikologis yang berbeda. Tujuan penelitian mengidentifikasi indikator dominan pada perilaku kompulsif remaja dalam mengakses internet. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif terhadap 103 siswa sekolah menengah pertama. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan indikator dominan dalam perilaku kompulsif mengakses internet adalah kehilangan kendali diri, indikasi menarik diri, dan fungsi mengatasi ketidaknyamanan psikologi melalui pengaksesan internet. Kata kunci:perilaku kompulsif, internet, online, media sosial Compulsive behavior in accessing the internet is closely related to the duration and frequency of accessing the internet, as well as more describing the characteristics of using uncontrolled internet applications rather than pathological addictions. The purpose of the study is to identify dominant indicators of adolescent compulsive behavior in accessing the internet. The study used a qualitative descriptive method with random sampling techniques to 103 junior high school students. Compulsive behavior in internet use is measured by a modification of the Compulsive Internet Use Scale (CIUS) instrument designed by Meerkerk et al (2007). The results showed three dominant indicators that indicate the level of compulsivity consisted of loss of control related to loss of self-control; withdrawal symptom which is an indication of withdrawing through the internet; and coping, the function of overcoming psychological discomfort through the internet access.

  • Kontribusi Konsep Diri terhadap Perencanaan Arah Karir Siswa

      Abstract: Konsep diri seseorang menjadi hal penting dalam mencapai kesuksesan memasuki dunia kerja, karena dapat mengarahkan seseorang terhadap karir yang akan dijalaninya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap kontribusi konsep diri terhadap perencanaan arah karir siswa SMPIT Thariq bin Ziyad Boarding School Cikarang Bekasi. Metode dalam penelitian ini metode kuantitatif dengan menggunakan teknik korelasi dan regresi. Adapun populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI dan XII sebanyak 108 siswa SMPIT Thariq bin Ziyad Boarding School Cikarang Bekasi. Teknik sampel yang digunakan adalah sampling jenuh karena menggunakan semua populasi sebagai sampel. Pengumpulan data yang dilakukan menggunakan skala psikologis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat kontribusi antara variabel perencanaan arah karir dengan konsep diri sebesar 18%, sedangkan untuk kontribusi lain dipengaruhi oleh faktor lainnya Berdasarkan uji anova atau F test, dapat diketahui bahwa nilai signifikansi 0,001 yang lebih kecil dari 0,05, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa konsep diri berpengaruh terhadap perencanaan arah karir siswa. The self-concept of a person is important in achieving success in entering the world of work, because it can direct a person towards the career he is going to do. This study aimed to reveal the contribution of self-concept to the planning of the career direction of students of SMPIT Thariq bin Ziyad Boarding School Cikarang Bekasi. The method in this research is a quantitative method used correlation and regression techniques. The population of this study were all students of class XI and XII as many as 108 students of SMPIT Thariq bin Ziyad Boarding School Cikarang Bekasi. The sample technique used is saturated sampling because it used all populations as samples. Data collection was carried out using a psychological scale. The result of this study showed that there is a contribution between the career direction planning variable and self-concept by 18%, while for other contributions it is influenced by other factors. It is concluded that self-concept affects students' career direction planning.

      Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian layanan konseling kelompok pendekatan behavioral teknik self monitoring guna meminimalisir kecenderungan menarik diri siswa kelas VIII-2 SMP Swasta Islam Azizi Medan Tahun Ajaran 2019/2020. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Quasi experimenal dengan desain Pre test – post tes one group design. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 6 (enam) orang siswa kelas VIII-2 yang tingkat kecenderungan menarik diri dalam kategori tinggi. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah sosiometri dan kuesioner kecenderungan menarik diri. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji Wilcoxon menunjukkan bahwa layanan konseling kelompok pendekatan behavioral teknik self monitoring dapat meminimalisir kecenderungan menarik diri siswa (Z = -3,73, p = 0,031). Penelitian ini memberikan implikasi bagi pelayanan bimbingan dan konseling di sekolah. This study aims to determine the effect of providing group counseling services with the behavioral approach to self-monitoring techniques to minimize the tendency to withdraw from class VIII-2 students of Azizi Islamic Private Middle School in Medan for the 2019/2020 academic year. This type of research is Quasi-experimental with a Pre-test - post-test one-group design. The subjects in this study were 6 (six) students of class VIII-2 whose level of a tendency to withdraw in the high category. The instruments used were sociometry and a withdrawal tendency questionnaire. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon test showing that group counseling services with the behavioral approach of self-monitoring techniques can minimize the tendency to withdraw students (Z = -3,73, p = 0,031). This study has implications for guidance and counseling services in schools.

      Abstract: Caregiver pasien Alzheimer memiliki beberapa dampak psikologis yaitu stress dan depresi. Diperlukan suatu intervensi konseling untuk membantu caregiver pasien Alzheimer agar lebih dapat meregulasi diri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki secara cermat tentang proses penggunaan teknik reframing dan self reward dalam konseling perorangan terhadap konseli yang merupakan caregiver pasien Alzheimer. Subjek penelitian adalah seorang konseli wanita yang berusia 20 tahun yang tinggal di daerah Depok, subjek bekerja sebagai guru, dan memiliki nenek penderita Alzheimer. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode kualitatif dengan desain penelitian studi kasus. Data-data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dalam bentuk konseling online, observasi terhadap respon saat proses konseling, dokumentasi berupa catatan harian konseli, dan mengamati materi visual berupa foto konseli. Analisis data dilakukan dengan pendekatan menurut Cresswell yang meliputi enam langkah yaitu; 1) mempersiapkan data mentah, 2) mengolah dan mempersiapkan data untuk dianalisis, 3) membaca keseluruhan data, 4) meng-coding data, 5) menghubungkan tema/ deskripsi, 6) menginterpretasi tema/ deskripsi.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses penggunaan teknik reframing dan self reward dalam konseling perorangan dapat diikuti dengan baik oleh konseli. Proses konseling tersebut juga memberikan perubahan yang positif pada diri konseli terutama dalam memilih koping stres sebagai caregiver pasien Alzheimer. Alzheimer's patient caregivers have several psychological effects, namely stress and depression. A counseling intervention is needed to help caregivers of Alzheimer's patients to be more self-regulating. This study aims to carefully investigate the process of using reframing and self reward techniques in individual counseling of clients who are Alzheimer's patient caregivers. The research subject is a 20 year old female client who lives in the Depok area, the subject works as a teacher and has a grandmother with Alzheimer's. The research method used in this research is a qualitative method with a case study research design. Research data were collected through interviews in the form of online counseling, observation of responses during the counseling process, documentation in the form of client diaries, and observing visual material in the form of client photos. Data analysis was carried out with an approach according to Cresswell which includes six steps, namely; 1) preparing raw data, 2) processing and preparing the data for analysis, 3) reading the entire data, 4) coding the data, 5) connecting themes / descriptions, 6) interpreting themes / descriptions. The results showed that the process of using reframing and self modeling techniques in individual counseling was well followed by clients
