Authors:Dewi Asitta Suroyya, Sri Widayati, Kartika Rinakit Adhe, Wulan Patria Saroinsong, Tuti Puspitasari Pages: 130 - 139 Abstract: This study is prompted by the politeness of the everyday language used by children who watch YouTube gaming content. The goal of this study is to see if there is a link between YouTube game content and language politeness in children aged 5-6 years. This study employs quantitative correlational research with 52 children aged 5-6 years old from TK Muslimat NU 74 Ketegan and TK Muslimat NU 36 Menyanggong. Product-moment correlation data analysis is used in this study, along with prerequisite tests, normality tests, and linearity testing. The findings of this study reveal that there is a relationship between YouTube game content and language politeness in children aged 5-6 years, with a Pearson correlation r value of 0.763, indicating that the relationship between X and Y variables is high. Another finding is that the two variables have a positive aspect. Children have a larger vocabulary, and they know and understand certain English terms. This is demonstrated by children's increased activity in expressing their feelings and opinions at school. PubDate: 2022-12-30 DOI: 10.24042/ajipaud.v5i2.14030 Issue No:Vol. 5, No. 2 (2022)
Authors:Meriyati Meriyati, Heny Wulandari, Nadiya Aisya Pages: 140 - 149 Abstract: Cognitive development is one of the important elements for child development. this is where the reasoning lies that the child will go through during his lifetime. This study aimed to discover the efforts in developing aspects of children's cognitive abilities based on western and eastern concepts. The method used is classroom action research using two cycles. Playing activities are carried out to empower all the potential they have so that it is hoped that, in the future, they will be able to actualize themselves in society. Teachers made various efforts to develop aspects of cognitive abilities in early childhood by referring to theories put forward by experts from both western and eastern theories. From the research findings obtained by researchers, namely children accustomed to home visit activities, children's cognitive abilities have reached 75%. Based on the study's results, it was found that in cycle one, the children began to develop and was not yet developing. Then, it was continued with the 2nd cycle to meet the targets set by the researchers, which resulted in the child's cognitive development developing well. Authors:Minuk Riyana, Hariani Fitrianti, Tini Adiatma, Dharma Gyta Sari Harahap, Siti Nurjanah Potabuga, Helen Parkhurst Pages: 150 - 158 Abstract: The background of this study is that learning mathematics in terms of geometry is crucial to introduce to early childhood, and many teachers are still unaware of what activities might boost knowledge of geometric shapes. So, this study aimed to learn about playing activities that can develop an understanding of the concept of mathematical geometric shapes in early childhood. The method employed is a qualitative approach with library research where the data source is secondary data from published research journals. Using labyrinth geometry playing activities, finger painting playing activities, and dakon playing activities, the results for developing knowledge of the notion of geometric shapes in early childhood mathematics may be acquired. The result of this study is based on prior research, namely employing maze geometry playing activities, finger painting playing activities, and dakon playing activities to develop knowledge of mathematical geometry. The point is that playing using geometric shapes provides an understanding of mathematics for early childhood. PubDate: 2022-12-30 DOI: 10.24042/ajipaud.v5i2.14108 Issue No:Vol. 5, No. 2 (2022)

Ricky Satria Wiranata, Kiki Melita Andriani First page: 169 Abstract: The need for learning facilities and infrastructure in inclusive PAUD is still limited. The purpose of this study is to contribute to every manager of inclusive and regular PAUD institutions in providing learning infrastructure needs for all students based on applicable standards or provisions. The research method uses a qualitative method of literature study. The data analysis technique was performed by Miles and Huberman's interactive analysis, which consisted of data collection, data reduction, presenting data, and conclusion. Data collection comes from reading references such as articles, books, and inclusive PAUD POS issued by the Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture. The results of the study found that each characteristic of ABK has different needs for facilities and infrastructure. In addition, it was found that several infrastructure facilities could be designated for other different types of ABK characteristics, such as rooms, equipment, media, and student learning resources. The conclusion is that inclusive PAUD institutions need to provide modified infrastructure based on each characteristic of ABK so that it can be used inclusively. Authors:Anis Komariah, Robingatin Robingatin First page: 191 Abstract: This study aims to determine how much influence Early Childhood teachers’ self-esteem on character, the influence of school culture on the character of Early Childhood Teachers, and the influence of self-esteem and school culture on the character of Early Childhood Teachers. To obtain the data using a questionnaire. The type of research is a quantitative explanatory approach. Data analysis was performed by multiple regression analysis. The results of data analysis show the Pearson correlation value of self-esteem (X1) with the character of early childhood teachers (Y) of 0.576. It shows that the strength of the relationship between self-esteem (X1) and the character of early childhood teachers (Y) is in the moderate category. Furthermore, the Pearson correlation value of school culture (X2) with the character of early childhood teachers (Y) is 0.793. It shows that the strength of the relationship between school culture (X2) and the character of early childhood teachers (Y) is included in the strong category. The double correlation of X1 and X2 with Y is significant. It means there is an effect of self-esteem and school culture on the character of early childhood teachers. Furthermore, the Pearson correlation value is 0.828. It shows that the strength of the relationship between self-esteem (X1) and school culture (X2) with the character of early childhood teachers (Y) is included in the very strong category. The product-moment correlation between X1 and X2 with Y (Ryx1x2) is 0.828. It means that self-esteem and school culture affect the personality of Early Childhood Teachers, which is the research's novelty. Authors:Triana Indrawati, Lutviana Dewi First page: 204 Abstract: This research is motivated by a broken home which of course results in children not getting full love from their parents, especially from a father figure. The aim of the research is to determine the subject's psychosocial development in a broken home and the impact caused by the research subject. The approach used by researchers is a qualitative research approach with a case study research design. Data collection techniques used interviews and observations made during the research. Where the data sources used come from the field when the research is taking place with supportive informants as well as from the results of previous research, journals, and books that support and are in accordance with the studies discussed. The difference from previous research is discussing the existence of a significant and not significant relationship between family relationships and psychoanalytic stimulus while this study discusses the psychosocial impacts and knowing psychosocial development in children from broken home families. The findings obtained during the study were that children with broken homes had positive impacts such as children having an independent attitude and negative impacts in the form of a lack of affection from parents, children having difficulties in socializing, and a lack of confidence.
