  • Efektivitas Bahan Ajar Bahasa Indonesia Berbasis Kearifan Lokal untuk
           Siswa SMA Kelas X

      Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui  efektivitas bahan ajar bahasa Indonesia berbasis kearifan lokal untuk siswa SMA kelas X. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Quest Experiment, dengan desain Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design menggunakan dua kelompok, yaitu kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Berdasarkan uji hipotesis dengan perhitungan independent sample t-test diketahui rata-rata kenaikan kelompok eksperimen sebesar 21,81, sedangkan kenaikan kelas kontrol sebesar 17,12 sehingga dapat diketahui kenaikan skor hasil belajar kelas eksperimen lebih besar 4,69 dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol. Diketahui juga nilai t  hitung sebesr 0,027 dengan signifikansi 0,000. Nilai t tabel dari db 2 adalah 2,92. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa t tabel < t hitung (0,027 < 2,92) dan nilai signifikansinya kurang dari 0,05 (p = 0,000 < 0,05), jadi kesimpulannya terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan dalam peningkatan skor hasil belajar secara signifikan pada kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol.  Berdasar analisa tersebut terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelas yang menggunakan bahan ajar bahasa Indonesia berbasis kearifan lokal dengan yang menggunakan bahan ajar bahasa Indonesia umum, sehingga pembelajaran dengan menggunakan bahan ajar bahasa Indonesia berbasis kearifan lokal dari segi keefektivitasan bahan ajar lebih baik.   Kata Kunci: Efektivitas Bahan Ajar, Berbasis Kearifan Lokal

  • MAKNA DAN NILAI-NILAI PENDIDIKAN DALAM SELOKO ADAT MASYARAKAT PELAWAN

      Abstract: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk menggambarkan makna dan nilai-nilai pendidikan dalam Seloko adat masyarakat Pelawan. Seloko adat adalah ungkapan-ungkapan yang mengandung pesan atau nasihat yang memiliki nilai-nilai kehidupan. Makna adalah arti atau maksud yang tersimpul dari suatu benda. Nilai pendidikan merupakan batasan sesuatu yang mendidik kearah kedewasaan, bersifat baik maupun buruk sehingga berguna bagi kehidupannya yang diperoleh melalui proses pendidikan. Penelitian ini mengambil 3 (tiga) peristiwa adat, yang terdiri dari prosesi adat pernikahan, prosesi hutang adat, dan syukuran panen raya. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik dokumentasi dan wawancara. Teknik dokumentasi dilakukan dengan merekam setiap proses yang menampilkan Seloko adat pada prosesi adat. Wawancara dilakukan dengan tidak terstruktur dengan menggunakan pedoman wawancara. Analisis data penelitian bersifat deskriftif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Seloko adat masyarakat Pelawan didominasi oleh makna kias (perumpamaan) yang mengandung nasihat dan peraturan adat. Jenis makna yang lain yang terdapat dalam Seloko adat ini di antara nya makna leksikal, gramatikal, dan stilistika. Nilai pendidikan yang sangat banyak ditemukan dalam Seloko adat masyarakat Pelawan adalah nilai pendidikan moral. Nilai pendidikan lain yang ditemukan dalam Seloko adat ini diantaranya nilai pendidikan religius, nilai pendidikan sosial, dan nilai pendidikan etika.

  • Pelanggaran Prinsip Kesantunan dalam Berinteraksi Siswa Kelas XI MIA I SMA
           Negeri 7 Muaro Jambi Tahun 2020/2021

      Abstract: Abstrak ___________________________________________________________________ Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan pelanggaran prinsip kesantunan dalam berinteraksi siswa kelas XI MIA 1 di SMA Negeri 7 Muaro Jambi yang dilihat dari segi penerapan prinsip sopan santun. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Data penelitian ini adalah tuturan yang diambil dari percakapan antara siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dari penelitian ini dengan menggunakan teknik rekam, simak, dan catat. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan mentranskip data, mengidentifikasi, mengklarifikasikan tuturan, mendeskripsikan analisis dan membuat kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan keseluruhan data yang terkumpul berdasarkan tuturan yang telah dilakukan siswa kelas XI MIA 1 SMA Negeri 7 Muaro Jambi yakni, lima data tuturan yang melanggar maksim kearifan, tiga data tuturan yang melanggar maksim kedermawanan, sepuluh data tuturan yang melanggar maksim pujian, lima data tuturan yang melanggar maksim kerendahan hati, delapan data tuturan yang melanggar maksim kesepakatan, tiga data tuturan yang melanggar maksim simpati. Kata kunci: pelanggaran prinsip kesantunan, tuturan siswa.  Abstract ___________________________________________________________________ This study aims to describe the violation of the principle of politeness in interacting with class XI MIA 1 students at SMA Negeri 7 Muaro Jambi in terms of the application of the principle of courtesy.  This study uses a qualitative approach and the type of descriptive research.  The data of this research are utterances taken from conversations between students.  Data collection techniques from this study using recording, listening, and note-taking techniques.  The collected data were analyzed by transcribing the data, identifying, clarifying the utterances, describing the analysis and drawing conclusions.  The results showed that the overall data collected based on the speech had been carried out by the class XI MLA 1 SMA Negeri 7 Muaro Jambi who were good, five speech data that violated the maxim of wisdom, three speech data that violated the maxim of generosity, ten speech data that violated the maxim of praise, five data of speeches that violated the maxim of praise  utterances that violate the maxim of humility, eight data of speeches that violate the maxim of agreement, three data of speeches that violate the maxim of sympathy.  Keywords: violation of politeness principles, student speech.

  • Meningkatkan Kualitas Pembelajaran Menulis Teks Cerita Imajinasi
           Menggunakan LKS Berbasis Microsoft Sway pada Pembelajaran Daring Siswa
           Kelas VII SMP Negeri 42 Muaro Jambi

      Abstract: Abstrak ___________________________________________________________________ Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan (1) penggunaan LKS berbasis Microsoft Sway dalam kegiatan menulis teks cerita imajinasi dapat meningkatkan kualitas proses pembelajaran (2) penggunaan LKS berbasis Microsoft Sway dalam kegiatan menulis teks cerita imajinasi dapat meningkatkan kualitas hasil pembelajaran siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 42 Muaro Jambi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dengan sistem pembelajaran jarak jauh karena pandemi Covid-19 yang masih mewabah. Instrumen penelitian antara lain; instrumen utama peneliti sendiri dan instrumen pendukung (lembar pengamatan, pedoman wawancara, catatan pembelajaran, dan alat perekam gambar dan suara). Teknik analisis datanya adalah analisis data kualitatif dan analisis data kuantitatif (gabungan keduanya). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan LKS berbasis Microsoft Sway dapat meningkatkan (a) kualitas proses pembelajaran, dan (b) kualitas hasil pembelajaran menulis teks cerita imajinasi siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 42 Muaro Jambi. Kualitas proses pembelajaran sebagai berikut: Pelaksanaan proses pembelajaran pada Siklus-I dengan tiga kali pertemuan dengan skor rata-rata: 83,33 kualitasnya: C (cukup), pada Siklus-II dengan dua kali pertemuan, skor rata-rata: 87,45 kualitasnya: B (baik). Sedangkan kualitas hasil pembelajaran sebagai berikut: pada siklus-I, skor perolehan rata-rata kelas mencapai 68,59 dengan kategori: D (kurang). Pada Siklus-II, skor perolehan rata-rata kelas mencapai 84,31 dengan kategori: B (baik). Setelah pembelajaran pada Siklus-II berakhir, kompetensi siswa dalam menulis teks cerita imajinasi mengalami peningkatan sebanyak 15,72% dan mencapai KKM serta tujuan pelajaran sebagaimana yang diharapkan. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which is carried out with a distance learning system or online because of the Covid-19 pandemic which is still endemic. Research instruments include; the researcher's main instrument and supporting instruments (observation sheets, interview guides, learning notes, and image and voice recording devices). The data analysis technique is qualitative data analysis and quantitative data analysis (a combination of the two). The results of this study indicate that the use of Microsoft Sway-based student worksheets can improve (a) the quality of the learning process, and (b) the quality of learning outcomes in writing imaginary story texts of seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 42 Muaro Jambi. The quality of the learning process is as follows: Implementation of the learning process in Cycle-I with three meetings with an average score: 83.33 quality: C (sufficient), in Cycle-II with two meetings, average score: 87.45 quality: B (good). While the quality of learning outcomes is as follows: in cycle-I, the grade average score reached 68.59 with categories: D (less). In Cycle-II, the class average score reached 84.31 in the category: B (good). After learning in Cycle-II ended, the competence of students in writing imaginary story texts increased by 15.72% and reached the KKM and lesson objectives as expected.   • Penggunaan Media Gambar Untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Menulis Poster Siswa
           Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 49 Merangin

      Abstract: Abstrak ___________________________________________________________________ Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan peningkatan nilai menulis poster siswa setelah menggunakan media gambar, proses pembelajaran menulis menggunakan media gambar, serta perubahan perilaku siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 49 Merangin setelah mengikuti pembelajaran menulis poster menggunakan media gambar. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian tindakan kelas dan berlangsung dalam dua siklus. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik tes dan teknik nontes. Hasil penelitian menulis poster diketahui bahwa proses pembelajaran menulis poster menggunakan media gambar berlangsung kondusif, intensif, dan menyenangkan. Hal tersebut telihat dari hasil keterampilan menulis poster siswa yang selalu meningkat dari prasiklus sampai siklus II. Pada tahap prasiklus, nilai rata-rata menulis poster sebesar 63,8. Pada siklus I meningkat sebesar 1% menjadi 64,8, pada siklus II meningkat sebesar 8% sehingga nilai menjadi 72,8. Dengan adanya media gambar membuktikan dapat meningkatkan nilai menulis poster. Kata kunci: Media gambar, keterampilan menulis poster.  Abstract ___________________________________________________________________ The purpose of this study was to describe the increase in students' poster writing scores after using picture media, the process of learning to write using picture media, and changes in the behavior of eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 49 Merangin after participating in poster writing lessons using picture media. This study uses a classroom action research design and takes place in two cycles. Data collection techniques using test techniques and non-test techniques. The results of the research on writing posters showed that the learning process for writing posters using picture media was conducive, intensive, and fun. This can be seen from the results of students' poster writing skills which always increase from pre-cycle to cycle II. At the pre-cycle stage, the average score for writing posters is 63.8. In the first cycle it increased by 1% to 64.8, in the second cycle it increased by 8% so that the value became 72.8. With the image can increase the value of writing poster. .Key Words: Picture media, poster writing skills.
