      Abstract: The online learning system is one from of realizing Revolution 4.0 which focuses on technology based learning. Online learning is learning without face to face directly between lecturers and students, but is carried out by utilizing information technology. The purpose of this study was to find out the description of online biology learning during the Covid-19 pandemic FKIP Muhammadiyah University of Palembang. This type of research is a qualitative research. The results of this study are that there are three activities, namely planning, implementation, and evaluation of learning. In planning activities, the lecturer make RPS or SAP and also prepares teaching materials. Besides that, students also do planning starting from the place, completeness of stationery, and readiness to learn. In the implementation of learning applications that are often used zoom and whatsapp. The learning method used is question and answer discussion. The obstacle that is very often encountered in online learning is the signal problem. The readiness of students and lecturers during the online learning process is quite good. The characteristics of students in online learning look more creative. The form of evaluation is in the form of assignments after the end of the lecture and the application used by Whatsapp. For the final semester exam, it is done in writing with the lecturer sending questions in the whatsapp group. Abstrak. Sistem pembelajaran daring salah satu bentuk untuk mewujudkan Revolusi Industri 4.0 yang menitikberatkan pembelajaran berbasis teknologi. Pembelajaran daring merupakan pembelajaran tanpa tatap muka secara langsung antara dosen dan mahasiwa, tetapi dilakukan dengan memanfaatkan teknologi informasi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran pembelajaran daring biologi di masa pandemi Covid-19 FKIP Universitas Muhammadiyah Palembang. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini adalah terdapat tiga kegiatan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi pembelajaran. Pada kegiatan perencanaan dosen membuat RPS atau SAP dan juga mempersiapkan bahan ajar selain itu mahasiswa juga melakukan perencanaan mulai dari tempat, kelengkapan alat tulis, dan kesipan belajar. Pada pelaksanaan pembelajaran aplikasi yang sering digunakan zoom dan whatsapp. Metode pembelajaran yang dipakai diskusi tanya jawab. Kendala yang sangat sering ditemui dalam pembelajaran daring adalah masalah sinyal. Untuk kesiapan mahasiswa dan dosen selama proses pembelajaran daring cukup baik. Karakteristik mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran daring ini terlihat lebih kreatif. Bentuk evaluasi berupa tugas-tugas setelah akhir perkuliahan dan aplikasi yang digunakan whatsapp. Untuk ujian akhir semester dilakukan secara tertulis dengan dosen mengirimkan soal-soal di grup whatsapp.

           Terhadap Berpikir Kritis dan Persepsi Siswa Dalam Pembelajaran IPA DI SMP

      Abstract: The critical thinking ability of students in science learning is still low. This study aims to determine the effect of the problem-based learning model (PBM) through the zoom application on students' critical thinking in science learning at State Junior High Schools. The research method used in this research is Quasi Experiment. With pretest and posttest experimental group design. The population in this study were all seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Ujan Mas in the 2020/2021 academic year with a sample of 2 classes, namely class VII.1 as a control class using conventional learning and class VII.2 as an experimental class using a problem-based learning model. , each class consists of 30 students. Collecting data using essay tests to measure students' critical thinking skills. The results showed that there was a significant effect from the application of the problem-based learning model through the zoom application on the critical thinking skills of SMP Negeri 1 Ujan Mas students and on students' perceptions that they were in the medium category. Abstrak. Kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dalam pembelajaran IPA masih rendah. Penelitian ini bettujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran berbasis masalah (PBM) melalui aplikasi zoom terhadap berpikir kritis siswa dalam pembelajaran IPA Di SMP Negeri. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah Quasi Experimen. Dengan desain pretes dan postest experimental group design. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Ujan Mas Tahun Pelajaran 2020/2021 dengan sampel sebanyak 2 kelas yaitu kelas VII.1 sebagai kelas kontrol yang menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional dan kelas VII.2 sebagai kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah, masing-masing kelas berjumlah 30 siswa. Pengumpulan data menggunakan tes essay untuk mengukur kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah melalui aplikasi zoom terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa SMP Negeri 1 Ujan Mas dan pada persepsi siswa masuk kedalam kategori sedang.

  • Pengaruh Penerapan Instrumen Penilaian Unjuk Kerja Pada Materi Organisasi
           Kehidupan Terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa SMP

      Abstract: ABSTRACT The application of performance instruments in practical activities has an important role in improving learning outcomes. This is to encourage students to be active in learning activities, especially practicum and anticipate in every practicum activity carried out by teachers at school. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of performance instruments on students' cognitive and psychomotor learning outcomes. This study uses a Quasi Experimental Design by using a pretest-posttest design. The population in this study was class VII SMP Negeri 7 Jambi City and the sampling was carried out by purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques in this study were tests for cognitive aspects and demonstration instruments for psychomotor aspects. Data analysis used One Sample T Test and Paired Sample t-test. The results of the research on the cognitive aspect showed that the average score of the Pretest score for the experimental class was 37.09 and the average score for the Posttest was 84.67. In the experimental class the psychomotor aspect of practicum activities obtained a value of 0.002 <0.05, which means Normal or it can be said that the average value of the psychomotor abilities of students is better after the implementation of performance instruments. Keywords: Performance Instruments, Learning Outcomes Abstrak. Penerapan instrumen unjuk kerja dalam kegiatan praktikum memiliki peranan penting dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar. Hal ini untuk mendorong peserta didik untuk aktif dalam kegiatan belajar khususnya praktikum dan termotivasi dalam setiap kegiatan praktikum yang dilaksanakan oleh guru disekolah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh instrumen unjuk kerja terhadap hasil belajar kognitif dan psikomotorik siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan Quasi Eksperimental Design dengan menngunakan desain pretest-postest. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah kelas VII SMP Negeri 7 Kota Jambi dan pengambilan sampel dilaksanakan dengan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah dengan metode tes untuk aspek kognitif dan Instrumen unjuk kerja pada aspek psikomotor. Analisis data menggunakan Uji One Sample T Test dan Paired Sample t-test. Hasil penelitian pada aspek kognitif menunjukkan hasil skor rata-rata nilai Pretest kelas eksperimen yaitu 37,09 dan rata-rata nilai Posttest yaitu 84,67. Pada kelas Eksperimen aspek psikomotor kegiatan praktikum memperoleh nilai 0,002 <0,05 yang artinya Normal atau dapat dikatakan bahwa nilai rata-rata kemampuan psikomotorik peserta didik lebih baik setelah dilakukan penerapan instrumen unjuk kerja.       Abstract: This research uses mixed methods with a study design in sequence model aim to analize the ability of creative thinking level and the difference of creative thingking ability for student who has field independent cognitive style and field dependent cognitive style in Problem Based E-Leaning of Environmental Pollution in X MIPA class in Sungai Penuh public high school 1. Sampling of this research is 70 X MIPA students using stratifies random sampling. Quantitative data is analized with descriptive statistical technique and independent sample T-Test, while qualitative data is analized with interactive analysis technique. The analysis result is creative thinking ability of students with the field independent (FI) cognitive style is higher than the student with field dependent (FD) cognitive style in Problem Based E-Leaning of Environmental Pollution. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kombinasi (mixed methods), dengan rancangan penelitian berupa model urutan, yang bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kreatif pada siswa yang memiliki gaya kognitif field independent dan gaya kognitif field dependent dalam pembelajaran elektronik (e-learning) berbasis masalah materi pencemaran lingkungan di kelas X MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Kota Sungai Penuh. Sampel dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 70 orang siswa kelas X MIPA yang diambil dengan menggunakan teknik stratified random sampling. Data kuantitatif dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik statistik deskriptif dan Independent Sample T-Test, sedangkan data kualitatif di analisis dengan menggunakan teknik model analisis interaktif. Hasil analisis didapatkan bahwa tingkat kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa dengan gaya kognitif field independent (FI) lebih tinggi dibandingkan siswa dengan gaya kognitif fielddependent (FD), dalam pembelajaran elektronik (e-learning) berbasis masalah materi pencemaran lingkungan.   • Pengembangan Media Komik Digital Berbasis Faktual pada Materi Pencemaran
           Lingkungan untuk Siswa Kelas X SMA

      Abstract: This study aims to determine the feasibility and effectiveness of digital comic media on environmental pollution material for class X high school students, as well as students' perceptions of the media. This study uses the ADDIE model development design. The data collection technique used a questionnaire sheet and multiple choice questions. The instrument used was a validation questionnaire sheet to determine the feasibility of the media, teacher, and student-response questionnaires to determine the attractiveness of the media and multiple-choice questions to determine the effectiveness of the media. Data analysis techniques used in research and development are qualitative and quantitative. Based on the results of the validation of the development of digital comic media by material experts twice and media experts once the media was declared valid and could be tested, while the teacher response results obtained a percentage of 94% in the very good category, the results of student responses in small group trials obtained a percentage of 93 % in the very good category, the results of student responses in the large group trial obtained a percentage of 87% in the very good category and the results of field trials or effectiveness obtained a score of 54 in the control class and 71 in the experimental class, which means that learning outcomes using digital comic media are more effective. So it can be concluded that digital comics are feasible to be used as teaching materials. Key words: Development, Digital Comics, Environmental Pollution Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan dan keefektifan media komik digital pada materi pencemaran lingkungan untuk siswa kelas X SMA, serta persepsi siswa terhadap media tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain pengembangan model ADDIE. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar angket dan soal pilihan ganda. Instrument yang digunakan berupa lembar angket validasi untuk mengetahui kelayakan media, angket respon guru dan siswa untuk mengetahui kemenarikan media dan soal pilihan ganda untuk mengetahui efektifitas media. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian dan pengembangan yaitu kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Berdasarkan hasil validasi terhadap pengembangan media komik digital oleh ahli materi sebanyak dua kali dan ahli media sebanyak satu kali media dinyatakan valid dan dapat diujicobakan, sedangkan hasil respon guru diperoleh persentase 94% dalam kategori sangat baik, hasil respon siswa dalam ujicoba kelompok kecil diperoleh persentase 93% dalam kategori sangat baik, hasil respon siswa dalam ujicoba kelompok besar diperoleh persentase 87% dalam kategori sangat baik dan hasil ujicoba lapangan atau efektifitas diperoleh skor 54 pada kelas kontrol dan 71 pada kelas eksperimen yang berarti hasil belajar dengan menggunakan media komik digital lebih efektif.   • Pengaruh Model Project Based Learning terhadap Keterampilan Berpikir

      Abstract: Observations show that the students' low critical thinking and communication skills are caused by passive learning activities - the low involvement of students - when learning. The low level of these skills has a low impact on learning outcomes as the quality of learning decreases. The project based learning model is one of the recommended learning models for 21st century learning because it is contextual and student-centered, thus making students more active. The purpose of the study was to examine the effect of the project based learning model on students' critical thinking and communication skills. The research method is a quasi experimental design (posttest only control group design). The instruments are essay questions to measure critical thinking skills and rubrics for assessing communication skills which are measured through presentations and project reports. Data analysis of students' critical thinking and communication skills between classes was carried out using a T-test to see the difference in variance of the two classes with different conditions. The results showed that the average value of critical thinking and communication skills of students who carried out learning using the project based learning model was higher than conventional learning. Data analysis shows that the model has a significant effect on students' critical thinking and communication skills. In conclusion, the project based learning model has an effect on students' critical thinking and communication skills. Key words: project, critical thinking, communication Abstrak. Observasi menunjukkan rendahnya keterampilan berpikir kritis dan berkomunikasi peserta didik disebabkan oleh aktivitas belajar yang pasif, yaitu minimnya keterlibatan peserta didik dalam pembelajaran. Rendahnya keterampilan-keterampilan tersebut berdampak terhadap hasil belajar yang ikut rendah seiring menurunnya kualitas pembelajaran. Model project based learning merupakan salah satu model pembelajaran yang direkomendasikan untuk pembelajaran abad-21 karena bersifat kontekstual dan berpusat pada peserta didik, sehingga membuat peserta didik lebih aktif. Tujuan penelitian adalah menguji pengaruh model project based learning terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis dan berkomunikasi peserta didik. Metode penelitian adalah quasi experimental design (posttest only control group design). Instrumen berupa soal essay untuk mengukur keterampilan berpikir kritis dan rubrik penilaian keterampilan berkomunikasi yang diukur melalui presentasi dan laporan proyek. Analisis data keterampilan berpikir kritis dan berkomunikasi peserta didik antarkelas dilakukan dengan uji-T untuk melihat perbedaan varian dari dua kelas dengan kondisi berbeda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata nilai keterampilan berpikir kritis dan berkomunikasi peserta didik yang melaksanakan pembelajaran dengan model project based learning lebih tinggi daripada pembelajaran secara konvensional. Analisis data menunjukkan model tersebut berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis dan berkomunikasi peserta didik.   • Pengembangan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) Berbasis Inkuiri Terbimbing
           Pada Materi Fungi Kelas X SMA

      Abstract: This study aims to develop LKPD based on Guided Inquiry for Class X Fungi Materials in SMA. The development model used in this research is the Plomp development model which consists of three stages, namely; (1) initial investigation, (2) development and manufacture of prototypes, and (3) assessment. The LKPD was tested on tenth-grade students of SMA IT Diniyyah Al-Azhar Jambi City and biology subject teachers. The results of the design expert's assessment, it was found that the LKPD design was very feasible, with a score of 61 or 95.31%. Meanwhile, from the results of the material expert assessment, it was found that the material on the LKPD was very feasible, with a score of 110 or 86%. The results of individual trials, small group trials, and large-group trials, it was found that LKPD has a very practical level of practicality, with the acquisition of practicality scores of 34.67, 36.40 and 34.60, respectively. Likewise, the results of the practicality assessment by the teacher showed that the LKPD had a very practical level of practicality, with a practicality score of 35. It was concluded that the LKPD based on Guided Inquiry on Fungic Materials was very feasible and practical to use in learning activities. Keywords: Development, LKPD, Guided Inquiry, Fungi Material Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan LKPD berbasis Inkuiri Terbimbing Materi Fungi Kelas X SMA. Model pengembangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model pengembangan Plomp yang terdiri dari tiga tahapan, yaitu; (1) investigasi awal, (2) pengembangan dan pembuatan prototype, dan (3) penilaian. LKPD diujicobakan kepada siswa kelas X SMA IT Diniyyah Al-Azhar Kota Jambi dan guru mata pelajaran biologi. Hasil penilaian ahli desain, didapatkan bahwa desain LKPD sudah sangat layak, dengan perolehan skor sebesar 61 atau 95,31%. Sementara dari hasil penilaian ahli materi, didapatkan bahwa materi pada LKPD sudah sangat layak, dengan perolehan skor sebesar 110 atau 86%. Hasil ujicoba perorangan, uji coba kelompok kecil, dan ujicoba kelompok besar, didapatkan bahwa LKPD memiliki tingkat kepraktisan sangat praktis, dengan perolehan skor praktikalitas masing-masing sebesar 34,67, 36,40 dan 34,60. Begitupula hasil penilaian praktikalitas oleh guru didapatkan bahwa LKPD memiliki tingkat kepraktisan sangat praktis, dengan perolehan skor praktikalitas sebesar 35. Disimpulkan bahwa LKPD berbasis Inkuiri Terbimbing Materi Fungi sudah sangat layak dan praktis untuk digunakan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran.       Abstract: This study aims to develop interactive multimedia-based learning media using 3D Pageflip Professional. The developed media discuss material about determining the sex of insects, this research belongs to the Research and Development (R & D) type using the ADDIE method. The research was conducted at SMA N 10 Jambi City in September 2021. The research data was obtained by distributing questionnaires via google form to students and teachers of biology subjects. Data analysis techniques were carried out qualitatively and quantitatively. The results of validation by material experts and media experts stated that this media was categorized as "very good". The test results on students (small groups and large groups) and teachers, stated that interactive multimedia-based learning media using 3D Pageflip Professional was categorized as "very good". Based on this, it can be concluded that the product is feasible to be used as a learning medium. Penelitian ini berutujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis multimedia interaktif menggunakan 3D Pageflip Professional. Media yang dikembangkan membahas materi tentang penentuan jenis kelamin serangga, penelitian ini termasuk ke dalam jenis Research and Development ( R & D ) menggunakan metode ADDIE. Penelitian dilakukan di SMA N 10 Kota Jambi pada September 2021. Data penelitian diperoleh dengan menyebarkan angket melalui google form kepada siswa dan guru mata pelajaran biologi. Teknik analisis data dilakukan secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil validasi oleh ahli materi dan ahli media menyatakan bahwa media ini terkategori “sangat baik”. Hasil uji coba kepada siswa (kelompok kecil dan kelompok besar) dan guru, menyatakan bahwa media pembelajaran berbasis multimedia interaktif menggunakan 3D Pageflip Professional terkategori “sangat baik”. Berdasarkan hal itu dapat disimpulkan bahwa produk layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran.       Abstract: This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of the guided inquiry learning model in learning biology of ecosystem material on students' critical thinking and cognitive biology learning outcomes. The research design was pretest-posttest control group design. The study population was class X MIA at MAS PAB 2 Helvetia Deli Serdang, where the sample consisted of 2 classes with simple random sampling technique. Class X MIA-1 as the experimental class using the guided inquiry learning model, while class X MIA-2 as the control class uses the conventional learning model. The data collection techniques used were observation sheets and written tests, which consisted of a pretest with 40 questions and a posttest with 40 questions. Data were analyzed using inferential statistical analysis. Based on the results of critical thinking research, for the t test it was found that t = 26.286 while t table = 2.002. The learning result, for the t test, it is found that t = 22.551 while t table = 2.002, it means that t> t table means that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. The conclusion from the results of this study is that there is an effect of the guided inquiry learning model on critical thinking and student learning outcomes at MAS PAB 2 Helvetia Deli Serdang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh model pembelajaran guided inquiry dalam pembelajaran biologi materi ekosistem terhadap berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar kognitif biologi siswa. Desain penelitian ini yaitu pretest-posttest control grup design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah kelas X MIA di MAS PAB 2 Helvetia Deli Serdang, yang mana sampelnya terdiri dari 2 kelas dengan teknik acak kelas (Simple Random Sampling). Kelas X MIA-1 sebagai kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan model pembelajaran guided inquiry, sedangkan kelas X MIA-2 sebagai kelas kontrol menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi dan tes tertulis, terdiri dari pretest posttest yang berjumlah 40 soal. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis statistik inferensial. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian berpikir kritis, untuk uji t diperoleh bahwa thitung = 26,286 sedangkan ttabel = 2,002. Hasil belajar, untuk uji t diperoleh bahwa thitung = 22,551 sedangkan ttabel = 2,002, itu berarti bahwa thitung > ttabel maka H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Kesimpulan dari hasil penelitian ini yaitu ada pengaruh model pembelajaran guided inquiry terhadap berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar siswa di MAS PAB 2 Helvetia Deli Serdang.       Abstract: One of the communication skills that must be possessed by prospective biology teachers is oral communication skills. Communication learning plays an important role. The aim of this research is to know the oral communication skills of prospective biology teachers through distance learning. This study uses True Experimental Design with a type of one shoot case study design. A research sample of 30 students of Wiralodra University Biology Education was randomly selected. The results of the data analysis showed that the communication skills of prospective biology teachers in distance learning using the Moodle platform were in the good category with a percentage of 81.8%. Key words: Communication Skills, Prospecive Biology Teacher Abstrak. Salah satu keterampilan komunikasi yang harus dimiliki oleh calon guru biologi yaitu keterampilan komunikasi lisan.       Abstract: The RANDAI learning model is one of the learning models that can be used in biology learning. This model can be applied by using learning media that supports the implementation of the syntax of the learning model, one of which is in the form of a digital book. This study aims to produce an Integrated RANDAI-Based Digital Book on Local Potential on Biodiversity Materials for Class X SMA/MA. This research is a research and development research using the Plomp development model. The subjects in this study were 3 biology lecturers, 1 biology teacher and 31 students. The data obtained in this study are in the form of validity and practicality data. This study resulted in a very valid and practical RANDAI-Based Digital Book Based on Local Potential on Biodiversity Materials for Class X SMA/MA with a validity value of 92.53% meeting the very valid criteria and the practicality value by the teacher with a value of 91.91% meeting the very criteria. practicality and practicality scores by students with a value of 86.93% meet the practical criteria. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (research and development) dengan menggunakan model pengembangan Plomp. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 3 orang dosen Biologi, 1 orang guru biologi dan 31 orang peserta didik. Data yang didapatkan dalam penelitian ini berupa data validitas dan praktikalitas. Penelitian ini menghasilkan Buku Digital Berbasis RANDAI Terintegrasi Potensi Lokal pada Materi Keanekaragaman Hayati untuk Kelas X SMA/MA yang sangat valid dan praktis dengan nilai validitas 92,53% memenuhi kriteria sangat valid dan nilai praktikalitas oleh guru dengan nilai 91,91% memenuhi kriteria sangat praktis dan nilai praktikalitas oleh peserta didik dengan nilai 86,93% memenuhi kriteria praktis.       Abstract: Scientific literacy is related to the ability of students to understand the process of the occurrence of science. In order to make it easier for students to improve scientific literacy skills, a media in learning is needed. Powtoon is an interesting application that can improve students' scientific literacy skills. The purpose of this research is to produce audio-visual learning media containing scientific literacy using the Powtoon application on biodiversity material for class X high school students. This research is research and development with the Instructional Development Institute (IDI) model. The research subjects were two lecturers from the Biology department, FMIPA UNP, one Biology teacher at the UNP Laboratory Development High School, and 32 students from class X MIA 1 SMA UNP Laboratory Development. The data obtained in this study are in the form of validity and practicality data. This research produces an Audio-visual Learning Media with Science Literacy Using Powtoon Application on Biodiversity Materials that is valid and practical.       Abstract: The purpose of this study was to examine prospective biology teachers’ perceptions and attitudes towards Instagram as a potential edutainment tool in biology learning. The study involved 87 prospective biology teachers from 4 public universities in Indonesia. Participants answered 15 closed questions and three open questions. Then data were analysed quantitatively and qualitatively. The results demonstrated that prospective biology teachers had highly positive perceptions of Instagram as an edutainment tool in biology learning. Respondents strongly agree that Instagram is easier to use than other learning platforms to create and upload learning content. Prospective biology teachers’ attitudes show that they agree to use Instagram as an edutainment tool in biology learning. The use of Instagram also has the potential to increase motivation, interaction, and creativity and is enjoyable in learning biology. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji persepsi dan sikap calon guru biologi terhadap Instagram sebagai sarana edutainment yang potensial dalam pembelajaran biologi. Penelitian ini melibatkan 87 calon guru biologi dari 4 perguruan tinggi negeri di Indonesia. Partisipan menjawab 15 pertanyaan tertutup dan tiga pertanyaan terbuka. Kemudian data dianalisis secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa calon guru biologi memiliki persepsi yang sangat positif terhadap Instagram sebagai sarana edutainment dalam pembelajaran biologi. Responden sangat setuju bahwa Instagram lebih mudah digunakan dibandingkan platform pembelajaran lain untuk membuat dan mengunggah konten pembelajaran.       Abstract: The condition of the Bukit Tigapuluh National Park, which is directly adjacent to agricultural land and residential areas of the Lubuk Mandarsah Village community as well as the existence of a concession permit causes a high potential for conflict between Sumatran elephants and the community. The decline in biodiversity due to overexploitation of natural resources, the conversion of company land around the Bukit Tigapuluh National Park has a negative impact on the conservation of Sumatran elephants and the survival of the people living around the buffer area of ​​the Bukit Tigapuluh National Park. With this problem, it will certainly cause conflict between humans and Sumatran elephants. The purpose of this study was to determine the knowledge and perceptions of the community towards conflicts with Sumatran elephants. This research is research using mixed method or mix method, which combines qualitative and quantitative methods. Based on this research, it was found that the level of community knowledge in the hamlet of Lubuk Mandarsah Village regarding Sumatran Elephants was classified as high (39-48) with a percentage of 82% and the perception of people in Lubuk Mandarsah Village regarding Sumatran elephants was classified as bad with a percentage of 78%. Kondisi Taman Nasionnal Bukit Tigapuluh yang berbatasan langsung dengan lahan pertanian dan pemukiman masyarakat Desa Lubuk Mandarsah serta adanya perizinan konsesi menyebabkan tingginya potensi konflik gajah sumatera dengan masyarakat. Penurunan keanekaragaman hayati akibat eksploitasi sumber daya alam yang berlebihan, konversi lahan perusahaan sekitar Taman Nasional Bukit Tigapuluh menimbulkan dampak negatif terhadap konservasi gajah sumatera dan keberlangsungan hidup masyarakat yang hidup disekitar daerah penyangga Taman Nasional Bukit Tigapuluh. Dengan adanya permaslaahan ini tentu akan menimbulkan konflik antara manusia dan gajah sumatera. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pengetahuan dan persepsi dari masyarakat terhadap konflik dengan gajah sumatera. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian menggunakan metode campuran atan mix method dimana mengkombinasikan metode Kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Berdasarkan penelitian ini dihasilkan bahwa Tingkat Pengetahuan Masyarakat di dusun Desa Lubuk Mandarsah terkait Gajah Sumatera sudah tergolong Tinggi (39-48) dengan persentase sebesar 82 % dan persepsi masyarakat di Desa Lubuk Mandarsah terkait gajah sumatera masik tergolong tidak baik dengan persentase 78%.   • Pengembangan Media Video Fenomena Predasi Insektivora dalam Pembelajaran

      Abstract: Learning media in the form of video is a medium that can be used by teachers to be used in learning. Video media contains learning materials that are equipped with pictures and videos that make it easier to understand the material. This study aims to develop learning media in the form of videos, determine the feasibility, responses of teachers, students, and the effectiveness of video media that have been developed to improve learning outcomes. Video media development uses the ADDIE model, which consists of the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. Video media products are validated by media experts and material experts with excellent results. The results of the biology teacher's response as well as small group and large group trials obtained very good results. The results of the effectiveness test using the paired-sample t test showed that there was an effect on the use of video media on the insectivorous predation phenomenon in improving student learning outcomes. Based on the results obtained, it is concluded that the media developed is suitable for use in learning. Key words: Video Media, Online Learning, Insectivorous Predation Phenomen Abstrak. Media pembelajaran berupa video merupakan media yang bisa dipakai oleh guru untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Media Video memuat materi pembelajaran yang dilengkapi dengan gambar serta video yang memudahkan dalam memahami materi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berupa video, mengetahui kelayakan, respon guru, peserta didik, serta efektivitas media video yang telah dikembangkan dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar. Pengembangan media video menggunakan model ADDIE yang terdiri dari tahap analysis, design, development, implementation dan evaluation. Produk media video divalidasi oleh ahli media dan ahli materi dengan perolehan hasil sangat baik. Hasil respon guru biologi serta ujicoba kelompok kecil dan kelompok besar diperoleh hasil sangat baik. Hasil uji efektivitas menggunakan uji paired sample t test menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh pada penggunaan media video pada materi fenomena predasi insektivora dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh maka disimpulkan bahwa media yang dikembangkan layak untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Kata kunci: Media Video, Pembelajaran Daring, Fenomena Predasi Insektivora

      Abstract: The purpose of this research is to develop a guided inquiry-based animal anatomy physiology practicum module to complement the previous practicum module, and to become one that can provide information to practitioners, and can improve students' scientific work attitude in carrying out practicals. The formulation of the problem that can be taken is knowing the validity of the module and the readability of the practicum module. This research uses the ADDIE development model, which consists of five stages, namely analyzing, designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating. The results of the validation of the practicum module by experts to have a percentage of 83.84%, and the readability of the module by 85.20%, so it can be concluded that the guided inquiry-based animal anatomy and physiology practicum module are feasible to use and can be implemented according to students' scientific work. In conclusion, the guided inquiry-based animal anatomy and physiology practicum module can be used and implemented in practical activities in accordance with scientific work principles. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah mengembangkan modul praktikum anatomi fisiologi hewan berbasis inquiry terbimbing untuk melengkapi modul praktikum sebelumnya, dan menjadi yang dapat memberikan informasi kepada praktikan, serta dapat meningkatkan sikap kerja ilmiah mahasiswa dalam pelaksanaan praktikum. Rumusan masalah yang dapat diambil yakni mengetahui validitas modul dan keterbacaanmodul praktikum, Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE yang terdiri atas lima tahap, yaitu menganalisis, merancang, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Hasil validasi modul praktikum oleh ahli memiliki persentase sebasar 83,84%, dan keterbacaan modul sebesar 85,20%, sehingga dapat disimpulkan modul praktikum anatomi fisiologi hewan berbasis inquiry terbimbing layak digunakan dan dapatdi implemetasikan sesuai kerja ilmiah mahasiswa. Kesimpulannya modul praktikum anatomi fisiologi hewan berbasis inquiry terbimbing dapat digunakan dan diimplementasi pada kegiatan praktikum sesuai dengan kaidah kerja ilmiah.       Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the characteristics of the guided inquiry-based biology learning module on ecosystem material for class X high school students, to determine the feasibility of the guided inquiry-based biology learning module on ecosystem material for class X high school students, and to find out the responses from biology teachers and students. In terms of the results of the questionnaire assessment. This study uses the Research and Development method developed by Sugiyono to develop printed learning media in the form of modules. Before testing the product, the finished initial product is then validated by experts. The final result of the material expert got a percentage of 86% with the "Very Eligible" criteria, and media expert validation got a percentage of 92% with the "Very Eligible" criteria. After that, a limited-scale trial was conducted, the results of the biology teacher's response were 95.41% and from 10 students the percentage was 90.50%. In conclusion, the module developed has the criteria of "Very Good" and is suitable for use in the learning. Key words: Learning Module, Guided Inquiry, Ecosystem Abstrak. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui karakteristik modul pembelajaran biologi berbasis inkuiri terbimbing pada materi ekosistem untuk siswa kelas X SMA, untuk mengetahui kelayakan modul pembelajaran biologi berbasis inkuiri terbimbing pada materi ekosistem untuk siswa kelas X SMA, dan untuk mengetahui tanggapan dari guru biologi dan peserta didik ditinjau dari hasil penilaian angket. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development yang dikembangkan oleh Sugiyono untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran cetak dalam bentuk modul. Sebelum menguji produk, produk awal yang telah selesai kemudian divalidasi oleh para ahli. Hasil akhir dari ahli materi mendapatkan presentase 86% dengan kriteria “Sangat Layak”, dan validasi ahli media mendapatkan presentase 92% dengan kriteria “Sangat Layak”. Setelah itu dilakukan uji coba skala terbatas, hasil respon guru biologi 95,41% dan dari 10 siswa persentasenya 90,50%. Kesimpulannya, modul yang dikembangkan memiliki kriteria “Sangat Baik” dan layak untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran. Kata kunci: Modul Pembelajaran, Inkuiri Terbimbing, Ekosistem

  • Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran E-komik IPA Pada Materi Sistem Pencernaan
           Manusia Untuk Siswa kelas VIII SMP

      Abstract: Media is one of the important components that must exist in a learning process. The aim of this research is to develop science e-comic for human digestive system material for VIII-grade junior high school students. This study uses the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The data collection instrument used in the form of a validation questionnaire of design experts, material experts, teacher perceptions, and student perceptions of science e-comics. This research was conducted at SMP Insan Madani Boarding School Jambi. The results of validation by material experts obtained a percentage of 90.67% (very valid) and the assessment of media experts obtained a percentage of 90% (very valid). Assessment by the teacher obtained a percentage of 93.125% (very good). The results of the one-on-one trial obtained a total score of 96.67% (very good), the small-group trial scored 94.33% (very good), and the large group trial obtained a score of 92% (very good). In conclusion, science e-comic learning media is suitable for use in distance learning (online). Key words: Learning Media, E-Comic, Human Digestive System Abstrak. Media merupakan salah satu komponen penting yang harus ada di dalam suatu pembelajaran. Tujan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan e-komik IPA materi sistem pencernaan manusia untuk siswa kelas VIII SMP. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa angket validasi ahli desain, ahli materi, persepsi guru dan persepsi siswa terhadap e-komik IPA. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMP Insan Madani Boarding School Jambi. Hasil validasi oleh ahli materi memperoleh persentase 90,67% (sangat valid) dan penilaian ahli media memperoleh persentase 90% (sangat valid). Penilaian oleh guru memperoleh persentase 93,125% (sangat baik). Hasil uji coba satu-satu diperoleh skor total 96,67% (sangat baik), uji coba kelompok kecil memperoleh nilai 94,33% (sangat baik), dan uji coba kelompok besar memperoleh nilai 92% (sangat baik). Kesimpulannya media pembelajaran e-komik IPA layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran jarak jauh (daring). Kata kunci: Media Pembelajaran, E-komik, Sistem Pencernaan Manusia

           Literasi Sains Siswa Kelas VII Pada Tema Hujan Asam

      Abstract: This research is motivated by the low scientific literacy skills in Indonesia based on the results of the 2015 PISA survey and the limitations of teachers in measuring students' scientific literacy skills so that they have not been developed optimally. The purpose of this study is to develop and determine the level of feasibility of the Two-Tier Multiple Choice test evaluation instrument based on scientific literacy on the theme of acid rain. The research method used is the research and development method with the ADDIE development model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluate) which in the development process is only at the Analyze, Design, Development, and Evaluate stages. The results of research and development in the form of a Two-Tier Multiple Choice test evaluation instrument based on scientific literacy on the theme of acid rain indicate that the product developed is very feasible based on assessments by material experts, evaluation experts, and three teachers with a total of 40 questions and gets a score the average is 97% based on material experts, 96% based on evaluation experts, 98% based on science teachers 1, 78% based on science teachers 2, and 99.8% based on science teachers 3. very feasible category with the overall average score of the validation has a percentage of 95%. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan literasi sains di Indonesia berdasarkan hasil survey PISA tahun 2015 dan keterbatasan guru dalam mengukur kemampuan literasi sains siwa sehingga belum dikembangkan secara optimal. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengembangkan serta mengetahui tingkat kelayakan instrumen evaluasi tes Two-Tier Multiple Choice berbasis literasi sains pada tema hujan asam. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian dan pengembangan (research and development) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluate) yang dalam proses pengembangannya hanya pada tahapan Analyze, Design, Development, dan Evaluate. Hasil dari penelitian dan pengembangan berupa instrumen evaluasi tes Two-Tier Multiple Choice berbasis literasi sains pada tema hujan asam menunjukkan bahwa produk yang dikembangkan sangat layak berdasarkan penilaian oleh ahli materi, ahli evaluasi, dan tiga guru dengan jumlah soal sebanyak 40 butir soal dan mendapat skor rata-rata yaitu 97% berdasarkan ahli materi, 96% berdasarkan ahli evaluasi, 98% berdasarkan guru IPA 1, 78% berdasarkan guru IPA 2, dan 99,8% berdasarkan guru IPA 3. Kesimpulannya, dari 40 soal yang dikembangkan keseluruhan berada dalam kategori sangat layak dengan skor rata-rata keseluruhan validasi memiliki persentase sebesar 95%.       Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of using macromedia flash in the distance lectures for students of the Biology Education Study Program, FKIP University of Riau in 2021. This media application was applied to learning low-level plant systematics (STR) courses. The research was conducted at the Biology Education Study Program, FKIP Riau University, in the even semester of 2021. The object of the research was 35 students of Class A lectures on low-level plant systematics. The research was conducted using the classroom action method, namely applying macromedia flash learning media. The lecture period is divided into 2 rounds where the first round is learning without using macromedia flash media and the second round using macromedia flash. The indicators set in the form of student learning outcomes during lectures and student responses to the use of macromedia flash. The conclusion of the study is that the use of macromedia flash can improve student learning outcomes with an effectiveness ratio of 83% and is considered effective in terms of learning outcomes. Student responses to the application of macromedia flash media are classified as good with a percentage of 79.91%. Key words: Macromedia flash, Low Plant Systematics, Effectiveness Abstrak. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas Penggunaan macromedia flash pada perkuliahan jarak jauh mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan biologi FKIP Univeristas Riau tahun 2021. Aplikasi media ini diterapkan pada pembelajaran mata kuliah sistematika tumbuhan tingkat rendah (STR). Penelitian dilakukan di program studi pendidikan biologi FKIP Universitas Riau pada semester genap tahun 2021. Objek penelitian adalah mahasiswa Kelas A oerkuliahan sistematika tumbuhan tingkat rendah sebanyak 35 orang. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode tindakan kelas yaitu menerapkan media pembelajaran macromedia flash. Masa perkuliahan dibagi dalam 2 putaran dimana putaran pertama adalah pembelajaran tanpa penggunaan media macromedia flash dan putaran kedua dengan menggunakan macromedia flash. Indikator yang ditetapkan berupa hasil belajar mahasiswa selama perkuliahan serta respon mahasiswa terhadap penggunaan macromedia flash.. Kesimpulan dari Penelitian diketahui bahwa penggunaan macromedia flash dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar mahasiswa dengan rasio efektivitas 83% dan tergolong efektif dari segi hasil pembelajaran. Respon mahasiswa terhadap penerapan media macromedia flash tergolong baik dengan presentase 79.91%. Kata kunci: Macromedia flash, Sistematika Tumbuhan Rendah, Efektivitas

      Abstract: The ability of teachers to manage the class is one of the factors that determine the success of students in obtaining high learning outcomes. A teacher who is not interactive in using methods and learning models that are in accordance with class conditions will cause students to feel bored following the lesson. In addition to using good methods and learning models, teachers are also required to be able to use technology in the learning process. The use of technology is one of the supporters of the online learning process. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of google classroom learning media on student learning outcomes at SMAN 2 Bantaeng. The research method used pre-experiment with One-Group Pretest Posttest Design. The population was all students of class XI IPA SMAN 2 Bantaeng in the odd semester 2021-2022 academic year. Sampling technique was simple random sampling with class XI IPA 2 as samples, totaling 23 students. The instrument in this study was ten essay questions that given before and after treatment. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive analysis and inferential analysis. The results of data analysis obtained the paired sample t-test, namely the value of Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000 <0.05, which means H0 rejected and H1 accepted. Based on the result, it can be concluded that there was an influence of google classroom learning media on student learning outcomes at SMAN 2 Bantaeng. Key words: Learning outcome, Google classroom Abstrak. Kemampuan guru dalam mengelola kelas merupakan salah satu faktor yang menentukan keberhasilan siswa dalam memperoleh hasil belajar yang tinggi. Seorang guru yang tidak interaktif dalam menggunakan metode serta model pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan kondisi kelas akan menyebabkan siswa merasa bosan mengikuti pembelajaran. Selain penggunaan metode serta model pembelajaran yang baik, guru juga dituntut untuk mampu menggunakan teknologi dalam proses pembelajaran. Penggunaan teknologi merupakan salah satu pendukung terlaksananya proses pembelajaran secara daring. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh media pembelajaran google classroom terhadap hasil belajar siswa di SMAN 2 Bantaeng. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu pre-ekperimen dengan desain One-Group Pretest Posttest Design. Populasi seluruh siswa kelas XI IPA SMAN 2 Bantaeng pada semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2021-2022. Teknik pemilihan sampel yaitu simple random sampling dengan sampel terpilih yaitu kelas XI IPA 2 yang berjumlah 23 siswa. Instrument dalam penelitian ini berupa 10 nomor soal essay yang diberikan sebelum dan setelah perlakuan. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan analisis inferensial. Hasil analisis data yang diperoleh melalui uji paired sample t-test yaitu nilai Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 < 0,05, yang berarti H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh media pembelajaran google classroom terhadap hasil belajar siswa di SMAN 2 Bantaeng. Kata kunci: Hasil Belajar, Google classroom
