  • Inovasi Pembelajaran Berbasis Teknologi Informasi: Model Learning Cycle 5E
           Menggunakan Gather Town pada Materi Protista

      Abstract: This study aims to innovate learning through information technology, especially related to the development of learning models through applications or video conferencing. The research method used is a qualitative method with a study of literature (documents) on the results of previous research. The data collection in this study by browsing books and journals in several print and electronic media such as books, journal collections, libraries and the internet. The results showed that the innovation of the 5E learning cycle learning model using gathering towns can be done in learning as a support for student motivation and teacher convenience in improving learning. Abstrak. Abad 21 dicirikan dengan berkembangnya informasi secara digital. Pembelajaran di abad 21 harus dapat mempersiapkan generasi manusia menyongsong kemajuan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan inovasi pembelajaran melalui teknologi informasi, terutama terkait dengan pengembangan model pembelajaran melalui aplikasi platform atau video conference. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode studi literatur (dokumen) atas hasil penelitian sebelumnya. Adapun pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dengan menelusuri buku-buku dan jurnal-jurnal pada beberapa media cetak maupun elektronik seperti buku, koleksi jurnal, perpustakaan dan internet. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa inovasi model pembelajaran learning cycle 5E menggunakan gather town dapat dilakukan dalam pembelajaran sebagai penunjang untuk meningkatkan motivasi siswa dan mempermudah guru dalam mengkoordinasikan pembelajaran.

  • Profil Kompetensi Interpersonal Siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama Di Sukabumi
           Pada Materi Pemanasan Global Berdasarkan Gender

      Abstract: Interpersonal competence is the ability to communicate in interacting with other humans to achieve certain goals. Interpersonal competence is very important for every student to have so that their abilities can develop and be well conveyed. In addition to cognitive abilities that student need to develop, interactions during adolescence are also important because without good interactions, adolescents will lose relationships with the people around them. The purpose of this study was to determine the interpersonal competence of seventh grade students in one of the schools in the city of Sukabumi on global warming material based on gender. This study used a quantitative descriptive method, with a sample of 31 students, formed into 6 groups. The instrument used was an observation sheet consisting of 10 statements developed from 5 indicators. In learning, students are formed in groups to make a simple practical video. The indicators in the instrument consist of the ability to initiate (Initiation), the ability to be assertive (Negative assertion), the ability to be open (self-disclosure), the ability to provide support to others (emotional support), and the ability to manage conflict (Conflict management). From the result of the research that has been done, the scores of all groups are quite good. The highest value is 85, the lowest value is 72,5. The greatest score per indicator is in providing support to others (Emotional support) and managing conflict (Conflict management) of 79%, while the lowest score is 73% on open indicators (self-disclosure). Based on gender, female students obtained higher interpersonal competence scroe than male students, this can be caused by several factors such as interaction with parents, education, age, environmental influences and desires of the individual, and extroverted personality. Abstrak. Kompetensi interpersonal merupakan kemampuan berkomunikasi dalam berinteraksi dengan manusia lain untuk mencapai tujuan tertentu. Kompetensi interpersonal sangat penting untuk dimiliki setiap siswa agar kemampuan yang dimilikinya dapat berkembang dan tersampaikan secara baik. Selain kemampuan kognitif yang perlu dikembangkan oleh siswa, interaksi pada masa remaja pun menjadi hal penting karena tanpa adanya interaksi yang baik, remaja akan kehilangan relasi dengan orang-orang di sekitarnya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui kompetensi interpersonal siswa kelas VII disalah satu sekolah yang ada di kota Sukabumi pada materi pemanasan global berdasarkan gender. Penelitian ini memakai metode deskriptif kuantitatif, dengan sampel sebanyak 31 siswa, dibentuk menjadi 6 kelompok. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa lembar observasi yang terdiri dari 10 pernyataan yang dikembangkan dari 5 indikator. Dalam pembelajarannya siswa dibentuk kelompok untuk membuat sebuah video praktikum sederhana. Indikator dalam instrumen terdiri dari kemampuan berinisiasi (Initiation), kemampuan bersikap asertif (Negative assertion), kemampuan bersikap terbuka (self-disclosure), kemampuan memberi dukungan kepada orang lain (Emotional support), dan kemampuan mengelola konflik (Conflict management). Dari hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan, nilai semua kelompok cukup baik. Nilai tertinggi sebesar 85, nilai terendah sebesar 72,5. Perolehan skor per indikator yang terbesar terdapat pada memberi dukungan kepada orang lain (Emotional support) dan mengelola konflik (Conflict management) sebesar 79%, sedangkan skor terendah yaitu 73% pada indikator bersikap terbuka (Self-disclosure). Berdasarkan gender siswa perempuan memperoleh skor kompetensi interpersonal lebih tinggi daripada siswa laki-laki, ini dapat disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor seperti, interaksi dengan orang tua, pendidikan, umur, pengaruh sekeliling dan keinginan dari diri individu tersebut, dan kepribadian yang ekstrovert.

  • Efektivitas Metode Field Trip Dengan Aplikasi PlantNet Pada Materi
           Spermatophyta Sebagai Alternatif Inovasi Pembelajaran

      Abstract: Learning system during a pandemic requires everything to be done online. This is a challenge for teachers to continue applying certain learning methods without eliminating the essence and purpose of the method. The innovation of the field trip method with technology application is expected to be an alternative of learning. Thus, this study aims to analyze the effectiveness of using the PlantNet Application on identifying and classifying of Spermatophyte Plants. This study used a qualitative descriptive method and the subjects of this research are high school students of grade X. The analyzed aspects in this research are learning outcomes, PlantNet use and user responses. The results of this study indicate that 88% of students achieve good result and this can be stated as a successful learning innovation based on individual completeness. Regarding the use of PlantNet, almost all of the indicators received very good ratings by students. For user responses, teachers and students have a good to very good response to the use of the PlantNet application. Abstrak. Pembelajaran di masa pandemi mengharuskan segala sesuatu dilakukan secara daring. Hal ini menjadi tantangan bagi guru untuk tetap menerapkan metode pembelajaran tertentu tanpa harus menghilangkan esensi dan tujuan dari metode tersebut. Inovasi metode field trip dengan bantuan aplikasi diharapkan menjadi sebuah alternatif pembelajaran. Sehingga, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas penggunaan aplikasi PlantNet pada materi identifikasi dan klasifikasi Spermatophyta. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan subjek penelitian Siswa SMA Kelas X. Aspek-aspek yang dianalisis yaitu hasil belajar, fungsi PlantNet dan respon pengguna. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan 88% siswa mencapai ketuntasan belajar atau lebih dari ketuntasan individu 85%, sehingga pembelajaran dikatakan berhasil. Terkait fungsi PlantNet, hampir semua indikator fungsi memperoleh penilaian yang sangat baik oleh siswa. Untuk respon pengguna, guru dan siswa memiliki respon yang baik hingga sangat baik terhadap penggunaan aplikasi PlantNet.

      Abstract: Student worksheet (LKPD) is a teaching material which can be developed by a teacher to be used in learning process. Based on the observation result in SMAN 2 Kota Jambi, most of the students are still struggling in understanding the human respiratory system material. Electronic LKPD or e-LKPD contains learning material with images and videos which make students learn easier. Teaching material such as e-LKPD can be integrated with scientific approach which stimulates students’ involvement in learning process. This research aims to develop scientific based e-LKPD for human respiratory system material for Senior High School grade XI, to find out about the properness, teachers’ and students’ response, and the effectiveness of e-LKPD in improving learning outcomes. The development of e-LKPD used ADDIE model which consists of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The e-LKPD product has been validated by the media and material experts with very good result. The result of biology teacher’s response and the result of students’ trial on small and big group showed very good result. The result of effectiveness test using paired sample t test showed that there is an effect of using scientific based e-LKPD on human respiratory system material in improving student learning’s outcomes. Thus, scientific based e-LKPD for human respiratory system material is an appropriate teaching material and can improve students’ learning outcomes. Abstrak. Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) merupakan bahan ajar yang dapat dikembangkan oleh guru untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Berdasarkan observasi di SMAN 2 Kota Jambi, sebagian peserta didik mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami materi sistem pernapasan manusia. LKPD elektronik atau e-LKPD memuat materi pembelajaran yang dilengkapi dengan gambar serta video yang memudahkan dalam memahami materi tersebut. Bahan ajar seperti e-LKPD dapat diintegrasikan dengan pendekatan saintifik yang merangsang keterlibatan peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan e-LKPD berbasis saintifik materi sistem pernapasan pada manusia kelas XI SMA, mengetahui kelayakan, mengetahui respon guru dan peserta didik serta mengetahui efektivitas e-LKPD yang dikembangkan dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar. Pengembangan e-LKPD menggunakan model ADDIE yang terdiri dari tahap analysis, design, development, implementation dan evaluation. Produk e-LKPD divalidasi oleh ahli media dan ahli materi dengan perolehan hasil sangat baik. Hasil respon guru biologi serta ujicoba kelompok kecil dan kelompok besar diperoleh hasil sangat baik. Hasil uji efektivitas menggunakan uji paired sample t test menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh penggunaan e-LKPD berbasis saintifik materi sistem pernapasan pada manusia dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar. Dengan demikian e-LKPD berbasis saintifik materi sistem pernapasan pada manusia yang dikembangkan layak digunakan sebagai bahan ajar dan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik.

  • Rekonstruksi DKL Materi Pteridophyta: Fenetik sebagai Sebuah Pendekatan

      Abstract: Education 4.0 focuses on improving 21st century skills, one of which is science process skills, especially communication skills on Pteridophyta material. However, the existing DKL as practicum support is not optimal. The purpose of this study was to analyze the quality of DKL on pteridophyta (ferns) materials used in schools in recent curricula covering aspects of curriculum relevance, competence, and knowledge construction. Then a trial was conducted on one of the DKL. The findings from the analysis and trials became the basis for the reconstruction of Pteridophyta DKL. The results of the research show that the existing DKL still has not developed higher-order thinking skills, and there are still few concepts formed. The results of the DKL reconstruction use a phenetic approach to make it more effective and representative according to the demands of the applicable KD and develop communication skills. Abstrak.Pendidikan 4.0 berfokus pada peningkatan keterampilan abad ke-21, salah satunya keterampilan proses sains pada materi pteridophyta. Namun DKL yang ada sebagai penunjang praktikum belum optimal. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis kualitas DKL pada materi pteridophyta (tumbuhan paku) yang digunakan di sekolah dalam beberapa kurikulum terakhir, dengan menggunakan instrumen analisis kegiatan laboratorium meliputi aspek relevansi kurikulum, kompetensi, dan konstruksi pengetahuan. Lalu dilakukan uji coba pada salah satu DKL. Temuan dari analisis dan uji coba menjadi dasar rekonstruksi DKL pteridophyta. Hasil penellitian menunjukan bahwa DKL yang ada masih belum mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi, dan masih minimya konsep yang terbentuk. Hasil rekonstruksi DKL menggunakan pendekatan fenetik agar lebih efektif dan representatif sesuai tuntutan KD yang berlaku dan mengembangkan keterampilan proses sains.

      Abstract: Module development is a process of developing procedural knowledge in creating meaningful learning. Learning is developed to obtain multidisciplinary learning, student-centered, active and critical, changes in interactive learning patterns. In the learning process with a STEM approach, information is formed through collaboration and creativity. Students use skills and learning processes in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics in their thinking processes to solve problems. This development aims to determine procedures, designs, student responses and teacher assessments in increasing creativity. Development of the biodiversity module with the STEM approach using the Project Based Learning model on biodiversity material in SMA Negeri 2 Jambi City by adapting the ADDIE model. The research instruments used were interview sheets, open and closed questionnaires, and a daily log. The product developed is a Biodiversity Module with a STEM approach. The module was validated by three teams of experts and declared feasible then the teacher's assessment had a kappa value of 0.74 in a good category. The results of one-on-one trials for project one have a percentage of 82.08% in the category of "Very feasible" and project two have a percentage of 89.05% with the category "Very feasible". The results of the small group trial had a kappa value for project one of 0.81 which was in the very good category and for project two had a kappa value of 0.42 in the medium category. Based on the results of the observations of two teachers on project one in increasing the creativity of students, it has a kappa value of 0.74 with a good category. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the module with the STEM approach was categorized as good so that it could increase the creativity of students, and the module with the STEM approach was suitable for use as a media for learning biology. Abstrak. Pengembangan modul merupakan proses pengembangan pengetahuan prosedural dalam menciptakan pembelajaran yang bermakna. Pembelajaran dikembangkan guna memperoleh pembelajaran yang bersifat multidisiplin ilmu, berpusat kepada peserta didik, aktif dan kritis, perubahan pola pembelajaran interaktif. Pada proses pembelajaran berpendekatan STEM informasi dibentuk melalui kolaboratif dan kreativitas. Peserta didik menggunakan keterampilan dan proses belajar dalam ilmu pengetahuan, teknologi, teknik, dan matematika dalam proses berpikir untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan. Pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui prosedur, desain, respon peserta didik dan penilaian guru dalam meningkatkan kreativitas. Pengembangan modul kenakaragaman hayati dengan berpendekatan STEM menggunakan model Project Based Learning pada materi Keanekaragaman hayati di SMA Negeri 2 Kota Jambi dengan mengadaptasi model ADDIE. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah lembar wawancara, angket terbuka dan tertutup, dan daily log. Produk hasil pengembangan berupa Modul Keanekaragaman hayati berpendekatan STEM. Modul divalidasi oleh tiga tim ahli dan dinyatakan layak kemudian penilaian guru mempunyai nilai kappa 0,74 dengan kategori baik. Hasil ujicoba satu-satu untuk proyek satu mempunyai persentase 82,08% dengan kategori “Sangat Layak” dan proyek dua mempunyai persentase 89,05% dengan kategori “Sangat Layak”. Hasil ujicoba kelompok kecil mempunyai nilai kappa untuk proyek satu 0,81 dengan kategori sangat baik dan untuk proyek dua mempunyai nilai kappa 0,42 dengan kategori sedang. Berdasarkan hasil observasi dua guru terhadap proyek satu dalam meningkatkan kreativitas peserta didik mempunyai nilai kappa 0.74 dengan kategori baik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa Modul berpendekatan STEM dengan kategorikan baik sehingga dapat meningkatkan kreativitas peserta didik, dan modul berpendekatan STEM layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran Biologi.

      Abstract: One of the objectives of learning biology is to give students experience in the scientific method which is the demand of the 21st century. This ability is a science process skill that can be obtained in laboratory activities. So that the design of laboratory activities should lead to science process skills. This study aims to analyze the design of laboratory activities to find out: 1) the relevance of competence and content to basic competencies, 2) what competencies or abilities are built in the practicum, 3) tools, materials according to school standards and work procedures are well structured or not. , 4) the knowledge gained whether the focus is on the main thing or not. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with the ANCOR stages, namely analysis, testing and reconstruction of five designs of laboratory activities on the working material of the catalase enzyme. The results of the study indicate that the lack of competence in science process skills built on the five designs of laboratory activities is proven based on the results of the analysis on the acquisition of knowledge is still lacking. Therefore, knowledge reconstruction needs to be carried out on the design of laboratory activities to improve the quality of laboratory activities in accordance with the demands of basic competencies. Abstrak. Salah satu tujuan pembelajaran biologi yaitu memberi pengalaman kepada siswa pada metode ilmiah yang merupakan tuntutan abad 21. Kemampuan tersebut merupakan keterampilan proses sains yang bisa didapatkan dalam kegiatan laboratorium. Sehingga desain kegiatan laboratorium sebaiknya mengarah kepada keterampilan proses sains. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis desain kegiatan laboratorium untuk mengetahui : 1) relevansi kompetensi dan konten terhadap kompetensi dasar, 2) kompetensi atau kemampuan yang seperti apa yang dibangun dalam praktikum, 3) alat, bahan sesuai standar sekolah serta prosedur kerja terstruktur dengan baik atau tidak, 4) pengetahuan yang diperoleh apakah fokus kepada hal utama atau tidak. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan tahapan ANCOR yaitu analisis, uji coba dan rekonstruksi lima desain kegiatan laboratorium pada materi kerja enzim katalase. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kurangnya kompetensi keterampilan proses sains yang dibangun pada kelima desain kegiatan laboratorium dibuktikan berdasar hasil analisis pada perolehan pengetahuan masih kurang. Oleh karena itu rekonstruksi pengetahuan perlu dilakukan pada desain kegiatan laboratorium untuk meningkatkan kualitas kegiatan laboratorium yang sesuai dengan tuntutan kompetensi dasar.

      Abstract: This article was to find out the innovation of students by using combination of Conventional Method and PBL Method. Based on the result of Classroom Action Research found that there was a differences between pre-test, post-test whether Cycle I or Cycle II. Based on the result, the writer concluded that the result of this research was the result of post-test in Cycle I was lower than post-test in Cycle II with the combination of Conventional Method and PBL Method. Abstrak. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui inovasi siswa dengan menggunakan kombinasi Metode Konvensional dan Metode PBL. Berdasarkan hasil Penelitian Tindakan Kelas ditemukan bahwa ada perbedaan antara pre-test, post-test apakah Siklus I atau Siklus II. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, penulis menyimpulkan bahwa hasil dari penelitian ini adalah hasil posttest siklus I lebih rendah dari posttest siklus II kombinasi metode konvensional dan metode PBL.

      Abstract: Based on observations from a biology teacher at SMA Negeri 17 Central Maluku. The data obtained that the results of learning biology are still partly below the average, based on the results of observations it turns out that teaching and learning activities look boring and most students do not pay attention to the teacher's explanation and are cool to talk with their classmates. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of discovery learning learning models combined with peer tutoring methods on student learning outcomes in class XI SMA Negeri 17 Maluku Tengah. This research is a quasi-experimental research. The sample in this study amounted to 52 students consisting of 26 students in class XI1 as the experimental class and 26 students in class XI3 as the control class. The results of the study show that there is an influence of the discovery learning model combined with the peer tutoring method on student learning outcomes at SMA Negeri 17 Maluku Tengah. Abstrak. Berdasarkan hasil observasi dari salah seorang guru biologi di SMA Negeri 17 Maluku Tengah. Diperoleh data bahwa hasil belajar biologi yaitu masih sebagian dibawah rata-rata, berdasarkan hasil observasi ternyata kegiatan belajar mengajar terlihat membosankan dan sebagaian besar siswa tidak memperhatikan penjelasanan guru serta asik berbincang-bincang dengan teman sebangkunya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran discovery Learning dipadukan metode peer tutoring terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 17 Maluku Tengah. Penelitian yang dilakukan merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 52 siswa yang terdiri dari 26 siswa kelas XI1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan 26 siswa kelas XI3 sebagai kelas kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model discovery Learning dipadukan metode peer tutoring terhadap hasil belajar siswa di SMA Negeri 17 Maluku Tengah.

      Abstract: Performance appraisal is an appraisal based on observations of assessments of student activities as they occur. Assessment is done with the performance, behavior or interaction of students. The development of performance assessment instruments (Performent Assessment) is expected to actively involve students in the learning process. The students will certainly feel motivated in showing their performance, because so far their performance has rarely been assessed, so that their minds are no longer just what needs to be learned, but have improved on what needs to be done. Type This study uses research and development (Research and Development), because it matches the objectives to be achieved. While the research development model chosen is the ADDIE model. Expert validation is carried out by the learning design validator, and the material validator. Practitioner validation is carried out by high school biology teachers. The research subjects were students of SMA N 5 Muaro Jambi class XI IPA, with a total of 6 people for small group trials and 20 people for large group trials. The results of the analysis were obtained that the instruments developed were very helpful for teachers in making assessments when practicum and instruments were suitable for use. Abstrak. Penelitian ini dilatar belakang pentingnya penilaian saat praktikum, biasanya penilaian dilakukan hanya pada laporan paktikum saja, bukan pada setiap proses yang terjadi saat praktikum. Tujuan penelitian mengetahui tahapan pengembangan instrumen penilaian kinerja praktikum pada materi sel sebagai unit terkecil kehidupan. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development), Sedangkan Model pengembangan yang digunakan mengadopsi model ADDIE dengan lima tahapan, yaitu: Analisisa (Analysis), Perancangan (Design), Pengembangan (Development), Implementasi (Implementasi), dan Evaluasi (Evaluate). Data kualitatif diperoleh dari saran-saran validator ahli desain instrumen dan ahli materi. Hasil pengembangan validasi ahli desain instrumen diperoleh dengan skor akhir 73,3% dengan kategori layak. Sedangkan validasi ahli materi diperoleh skor 74,7% dengan kategori layak, dan respon guru sebagai pengguna instrumen diperoleh skor 80% dengan kategori baik, sehingga dapat disimpulkan instrumen penilaian kinerja praktikum pada materi sel sebagai unit terkecil kehidupan layak untuk digunakan.

      Abstract: This study aims to determine the science communication skills of high school students are assessed using the Expert-Novice Dialog (END) method with the help of Google Suite. This research was conducted at one of the Sukabumi City Senior High Schools in April the second week of 2021. This study uses a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The sampling technique used in this research is purposive sampling technique. The subjects used in this study were students of class X SMA, totaling 60 students consisting of 20 Experts and 40 Novices. Data collection were carried out digitally with the help of Google Suite. The concept of the selected material is a change in environmental balance. The instruments used in this research are science communication skills rubric, observation rubric, novice concept test and student response questionnaires. The results showed that the science communication skills of students in one of the Sukabumi City Senior High Schools were assessed using the Expert-Novice Dialog (END) method assisted by Google Suite an average of 67% which was included in the "Enough" category. Mastery of the novice concept is categorized as "Good" with an average score of 80.25%. Through the response questionnaire, it is known that the END method generally helps students in practicing science communication skills and understanding concepts. abstrak. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah teknik purposive sampling. Subjek yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas X SMA yang berjumlah 60 peserta didik terdiri dari 20 Expert dan 40 Novice. Teknik pengambilan data dilakukan secara digital berbantuan google suite.Konsep materi yang dipilih adalah perubahan keseimbangan lingkungan. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah rubrik kemampuan komunikasi sains, rubrik observasi, test konsep novice dan angket respon peserta didik Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kemampuan komunikasi sains pesera didik di salahsatu SMA Negeri Kota Sukabumi yang dinilai dengan metode Expert-Novice Dialog (END) berbantuan google suite rata-rata sebesar 67% termasuk dalam kategori “cukup”. Penguasaan konsep novice dikategorikan “Baik” dengan nilai rata-rata 80,25%. Melalui angket respon diketahui bahwa Metode END pada umumnya membantu peserta didik dalam melatih kemampuan komunikasi sains dan memahami konsep.       Abstract: Higher Order Thinking Skills can develop the ability to investigate problems, ask questions, pose challenging answers and discover new information. Higher order thinking skills are one of the factors that affect scientific literacy skills. Literacy skills are not enough just to be able to read, more than that, students are expected to have the ability to reason and competence, be active, creative, and critical of what they know. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between higher order thinking skills and scientific literacy skills of Biology Education students, University of Muhammadiyah Makassar. This research includes correlational descriptive research which is carried out in the even semester of the 2020-2021 academic year. The instrument in this study was in the form of student learning outcomes tests. Then from student learning outcomes, a score will be given based on the ability to complete the HOTS test questions while the scientific literacy ability is assessed using a scoring rubric. there is a positive relationship between higher order thinking skills and scientific literacy skills of biology education students at the University of Muhammadiyah Makassar with a correlation value of 0.370. The value of learning outcomes with the average categorization of high order thinking skills is 56.7 and the average scientific literacy ability is 66.7. Abstrak. Higher Order Thinking Skils dapat menumbuhkembangkan kemampuan untuk menyelidiki masalah, mengajukan pertanyaan, mengajukan jawaban yang menantang dan menemukan informasi baru. Kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi merupakan salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi kemampuan literasi sains. Kemampuan literasi tidak cukup dengan bisa membaca saja, lebih daripada itu mahasiswa diharapkan memiliki kemampuan bernalar dan kompetensi, aktif, kreatif, serta kritis terhadap apa yang diketahuinya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis hubungan antara higher order thinking skills dan kemampuan literasi sains mahasiswa Pendidikan Biologi Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian deskriptif korelasional yang dilaksanakan pada semester genap tahun akademik 2020-2021. Instrument dalam penelitian ini berupa tes hasil belajar mahasiswa. Kemudian dari hasil belajar mahasiswa akan diberikan penskoran berdasarkan kemampuan menyelesaikan soal tes HOTS sedangkan kemampuan literasi sains dinilai dengan menggunakan rubrik penskoran. terdapat hubungan yang positif antara higher order thinking skills dan kemampuan literasi sains mahasiswa pendidikan biologi Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar dengan nilai korelasi sebesar 0,370. Nilai hasil belajar dengan pengkategorian rata-rata higher order thinking skills sebesar 56,7 dan rata-rata kemampuan literasi sains sebesar 66,7.

      Abstract: This study aims to determine the profile of students’ creativity and innovation skills carried out in MAN 2 Sukabumi in April in the second week of 2021. This research was conducted using descriptive research methods with a quantitative approach. The sample used in this study used 2 class XI in MAN 2 Sukabumi, totaling 70 students who has been determined by simple random sampling. The instrument used was the Tiktok video assessment rubric which was developed from Frika (2016). The research data were analyzed quantitatively. The results showed that 2 class XI in MAN 2 Sukabumi City. In comparison, gender had no show differences on students’ creative thinking skills. Creativity and innovation skills based on the video made by class XI IPA A, almost all groups get a score of 80 in the “very creative” category. Class XI IPA C, there are 5 groups scored above 80 categorizes “very creative” and 2 groups scored above 70 categorized “creative”. Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui profil keterampilan kreativitas dan inovasi peserta didik yang dilaksanakan di MAN 2 Kota Sukabumi pada bulan April di minggu kedua tahun 2021. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini menggunakan 2 kelas XI di MAN 2 Kota Sukabumi berjumlah 70 peserta didik yang sudah ditentukan secara simple random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu rubrik penilaian video Tiktok yang dikembangkan dari Frika (2016). Data penelitian dianalisis secara kuantitatif. Hasil dari penelitian didapat bahwa 2 kelas XI di MAN 2 Kota Sukabumi, pada perolehan perbandingan gender tidak menunjukkan perbedaan pada keterampilan berpikir kreatif peserta didik. Keterampilan kreativitas dan inovasi berdasarkan video yang dibuat. Memiliki hasil bahwa pada kelas XI IPA A, hampir seluruh kelompok mendapatkan nilai 80 dikategorikan “sangat kreatif”. Kelas XI IPA C, terdapat 5 kelompok mendapat nilai di atas 80 dikategorikan “sangat kreatif” dan 2 kelompok mendapat nilai di atas 70 dikategorikan “kreatif”.

This research was conducted through a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group design. This study involved students of tenth grade of MA Miftahul Ulum Bettet Pamekasan. Two classes were taken randomly each to be applied RT learning model and conventional learning. Student’s learning interest data were collected through the distribution of questionnaires; while learning outcomes were measured through essay tests. The data obtained were then analyzed using ANACOVA test with a significance level of 0.05. The results showed that RT could increase student’s learning interest (p = 0.034) and student’s learning outcomes (p = 0.000). Thus, RT can be used as alternative learning model for teachers to empower students' learning interest and learning outcomes. Abstrak. Penelitian ini Bertujuan untuk menyelidiki pengaruh model pembelajaran Reciprocal Teaching (RT) terhadap minat belajar dan hasil belajar Biologi siswa SMA. Penelitian dilaksanakan melalui desain quasi eksperimen dengan rancangan pretest-posttest control group design. Penelitian melibatkan siswa kelas X MA Miftahul Ulum Bettet Pamekasan. Dua kelas diambil secara acak masing-masing untuk diterapkan model pembelajaran RT dan pembelajaran konvensional. Data minat belajar siswa dikumpulkan melalui penyebaran angket; sementara hasil belajar diukur melalui tes essai. Data yang diperoleh selanjutnya dianalisis menggunakan uji ANACOVA dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa RT dapat meningkatkan minat belajar (p = 0,034) dan hasil belajar siswa (p = 0,000). Dengan demikian, RT dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif pembelajaran bagi guru untuk memberdayakan minat sekaligus hasil belajar siswa.

  • Pengembangan Bahan Ajar Ekosistem Berbasis Potensi Lokal Di Maluku

      Abstract: One way to use the environment is to examine the local potential that exists in the student's environment. The selection of the development of teaching materials based on local potential is in accordance with biological characteristics, especially those that utilize living things and their parts. The purpose of this research is to develop teaching materials based on local potential in Maluku. The research method uses the R&D method with the ADDIE model. The data collection technique used is data regarding the need for learning resources in the form of local wisdom-based learning modules in Maluku collected through 2013 curriculum analysis. The instrument used is a questionnaire. Based on the analysis conducted on research and development data, it shows that teaching materials based on Maluku local wisdom are feasible to be used as a source of learning in schools. Local wisdom-based teaching materials developed can be used as teaching materials that can increase students' knowledge of the material being studied. The feasibility of the developed teaching materials can be measured using indicators of the validity of teaching materials, practicality of teaching materials, and effectiveness of teaching materials. The study results showed a significant change between the pre-test and post-test. It can be concluded that teaching materials based on Maluku local wisdom are very feasible to be used in learning. Abstrak. Salah satu pemanfataan lingkungan adalah dengan mengkaji potensi lokal yang ada di lingkungan peserta didik. Pemilihan pengembangan bahan ajar berbasis potensi lokal sangat sesuai dengan karakteristik biologi khususnya yang memanfaatkan mahluk hidup maupun bagiannya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan bahan ajar ekosisitem berbasis potensi lokal di Maluku. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode R&D dengan model ADDIE. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan adalah data mengenai kebutuhan sumber belajar dalam bentuk modul pembelajaran berbasis kearifan lokal di Maluku dikumpulkan melalui analisis kurikulum 2013. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket. Berdasarkan analisis yang dilakukan terhadap data hasil penelitian dan pengembangan menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar berbasis kearifan lokal Maluku layak untuk digunakan sebagai salah satu sumber belajar di sekolah. Bahan ajar berbasis kearifan lokal yang dikembangkan dapat digunakan sebagai bahan ajar yang dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan peserta didik terhadap materi yang dipelajari. Kelayakan dari bahan ajar yang dikembangkan dapat diukur dengan menggunakan indikator kevalidan bahan ajar, kepraktisan bahan ajar, dan keefektifan bahan ajar. Hasil belajar menunjukkan perubahan yang signifikan antara pre test dan post test. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa bahan ajar berbasis kearifan lokal Maluku sangat layak untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran.

      Abstract: The practicum method is a method that can be used for student learning. By using practicum, students will need a guide in the form of a worksheet in order to carry out practical activities in accordance with the guidelines. This objective is aimed at (1) obtaining an overview of the suitability of the practicum following the steps of LKPD, (2) knowing how practicum can be carried out in accordance with LKPD and curriculum, (3) knowing the existence of an overview related to practicum objectives, principles and concepts in LKPD, (4) to find out whether the steps in LKPD can provide direction to students. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method with ANCORB stages, namely (1) Analysis, (2) Testing, (3) Reconstruction. To carry out the analysis, the analysis is carried out through aspects of relevance, aspects of competence, aspects of knowledge construction, practical analysis and reconstruction. The research object uses 5 LKPD regarding environmental pollution. The results showed that there was still a lot of confusion among students because the research steps were not clear. This study concludes that there is a need for improvements to the Environmental Pollution LKPD material in order to produce a better Environmental Pollution LKPD. Abstrak. Metode praktikum dalah metode yang dapat digunakan untuk pembelajaran siswa. Dengan menggunakan praktikum, maka siswa akan memerlukan panduan berupa lembar kerja agar dapat melakukan kegiatan praktikum yang sesuai dengan panduan. Tujuan ini bertujuan untuk (1) memperoleh gambaran pada kesesuaian praktikum yang mengikuti langkah LKPD, (2) mengetahi bagaimana praktikum dapat dilakukan sesuai denganKPD dan kurikulum, (3) mengetahui adanya gambaran terkait tujuan praktikum, prinsip dan konsep dalam LKPD, (4) untuk mengetahui apakah langkah yang ada pada LKPD dapat memberikan arahan terhadap siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan tahapan ANCORB, yaitu (1) Analisis, (2) Uji Coba, (3) Rekonstruksi. Untuk melakukan analisis, analisis dilakukan melalui aspek relevansi, aspek kompetensi, aspek konstruksi pengetahuan, analisis praktikal dan rekonstruksi. Objek penelitian menggunakan 5 LKPD mengenai pencemaran lingkungan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan masih banyak kebingungan diantara siswa karena langkah penelitian yang tidak jelas. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan perlu adanya perbaikan pada LKPD materi Pencemaran Lingkungan agar dapat menghasilkan LKPD Pencemaran Lingkungan yang lebih baik.

  • Profil Kemampuan Penalaran Ilmiah Siswa SMP Berdasarkan Gaya Belajar

      Abstract: This study aims to describe the scientific reasoning abilities of junior high school students in science learning based on learning styles at SMPN 15 Sukabumi City. The sample in this study was 35 students of class VII SMPN 15 Sukabumi in the academic year 2020/2021. This research uses qualitative methods through a descriptive approach. The research instruments used were questionnaires and scientific reasoning test instruments Lawson Classroom Test of Scientific Reasoning (LCTSR) which consisted of 12 reasoned multiple choice questions containing 6 indicators of scientific reasoning, namely: proportional reasoning, probabilistic, correlational, conservation, variable control, and hypothetical. deductive. The results showed that the learning style most often used by junior high school students was the visual learning style. This is evidenced by the results of questionnaires that have been distributed, as many as 17 students or 48.58% of the 35 students analyzed tended to use visual learning styles compared to auditory and kinesthetic learning styles. Students with this visual learning style have better scientific reasoning abilities. In addition, overall junior high school students do not yet have the ability to compare two variables of a phenomenon based on a constant ratio, which means junior high school students have scientific reasoning skills on low hypothesis-deductive indicators. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan penalaran ilmiah siswa SMP pada pembelajaran IPA berdasarkan gaya belajar di SMPN 15 Kota Sukabumi. Sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu 35 siswa kelas VII SMPN 15 kota sukabumi tahun ajaran 2020/2021. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif melalui pendekatan deskriptif. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu angket dan instrumen tes penalaran ilmiah Lawson Classroom Test of Scientific Reasoning (LCTSR) yang terdiri 12 soal pilihan ganda beralasan yang memuat 6 indikator penalaran ilmiah yaitu: penalaran proporsional, probabilistik, korelasional, konservasi, pengontrolan variabel, dan hipotetic-deduktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gaya belajar yang paling banyak digunakan oleh siswa smp adalah gaya belajar visual. Hal ini dibuktikan dari hasil angket yang telah disebar, sebanyak 17 siswa atau 48,58% dari 35 siswa yang dianalisis cenderung menggunakan gaya belajar visual dibandingkan gaya belajar auditorial maupun kinestetik. Siswa dengan gaya belajar visual ini memiliki kemampuan penalaran ilmiah yang lebih baik. Selain itu, secara keseluruhan siswa smp belum memiliki kemampuan untuk membandingkan dua varibel suatu fenomena berdasarkan rasio konstan yang artinya siswa smp memiliki kemampuan penalaran ilmiah pada indikator hipotesis-deduktif yang rendah.

  • Profil Keterampilan Proses Sains Peserta Didik Menggunakan Model
           Pembelajaran 9E Learning Cyccle at Home Melalui Pembelajaran Daring

      Abstract: This study aims to analyze the science process skills of students before and after the application of the 9E Learning cycle at home model through online learning on the subject of environmental pollution. This research uses an experimental method and this type of reseach uses a pre-experimental design. The instrument used was a science process skills test in the form of 14 multiple choice questions with 6 indicators of science process skills, namely 1) observing, 2) classifying, 3) measuring, 4) communicating, 5) concluding, 6) predicting. The population in this study was class VII semester 2 MTs Persatuan Islam Academic Year 2020/2021, with 21 female and 7 male students. The results showed that there was a significant difference in the students scicence process skills from before and after the 9E Learning Cycle at Home model was applied through online learning. The average percentage of N-Gain in increasing the achievement of students science process skills, which is 84%, is included in the high category. The highest percentage of N-Gain is obtained in indicator 4, which is 97%, while the lowest is in indicator 2, which is 71%, and the science process skills achieved by female students are superior to men, namely 94%:90%. This shows that learning about environmental pollution using the 9E learning cycle at home model through online learning can improve students science process skills and is useful for the continuity of the learning process. Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis keterampilan proses sains peserta didik sebelum dan setelah penerapan model 9E Learning Cycle at Home melalui pembelajaran daring pada pokok bahasan pencemaran lingkungan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dan jenis penilitiannya menggunakan pre-eksperimental design. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes keterampilan proses sains berupa soal pilihan ganda sebanyak 24 soal dengan 6 indikator keterampilan proses sains yaitu 1) Mengamati, 2) Mengklasifikasi, 3) Mengukur, 4) Mengomunikasikan, 5) Menyimpulkan, 6) Memprediksi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas VII semester 2 MTs Persatuan Islam Tahun Ajaran 2020/2021, dengan peserta didik berjumlah 21 orang perempuan dan 7 orang laki-laki. Hasil penelitian bahwa adanya perbedaan signifikan terhadap keterampilan proses sains peserta didik dari sebelum dan setelah diterapkan model 9E Learning Cycle at Home melalui pembelajaran daring. Rata-rata persentase N-Gain peningkatan ketercapaian keterampilan proses sains peserta didik yaitu 84% termasuk dalam kategori tinggi. Persentase N-Gain tertinggi didapat pada indicator 4 yaitu sebesar 97% sedangkan terendah pada indicator 2 yaitu 71%, dan keterampilan proses sains yang dicapai peserta didik perempuan lebih unggul dari laki-laki yaitu 94% : 90%. Hal ini menunjukkan dalam pembelajaran pada materi pencemaran lingkungan menggunakan model 9E Learning Cycle at Home melalui pembelajaran daring dapat meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains peserta didik dan berguna untuk keberlangsungan proses pembelajaran.

      Abstract: This study aims to determine the effect of the inquiry-contextual approach on the science process skills of high school students in learning ecosystem materials using information technology media, namely google form, google meeting, google classroom and whatsapp group. This research method is a pre-experiment with the type of One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The multiple choice questions consist of ten indicators of science process skills, each of wich contains one questions. The sampling technique was Simple Random Sampling from the population of SMA Negeri 2 Sukabumi City. The result showed that the inquiry-contextual approach had an influence in training students science process skills. It is proven in the acquisition of n-gain scores, per-indicator percentage values, gender dominance in answering correctly and the result of LKPD scores. Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendekatan inkuiri-kontekstual terhadap keterampilan proses sains peserta didik sekolah menengah atas pada pembelajaran materi ekosistem dengan menggunakan media teknologi informasi yaitu google form, google meeting,google classroom dan whatsapp group. Metode penelitian ini berupa pra-eksperimen dengan jenis One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Soal pilihan ganda berjumlah sepuluh indikator keterampilan proses sains dimana masing-masing memuat satu soal. Teknik pengambilan sampel berupa Simple Random Sampling dari populasi SMA Negeri 2 Kota Sukabumi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pendekatan inkuiri-kontekstual memiliki pengaruh dalam melatih keterampilan proses sains peserta didik. Dibuktikan dalam perolehan skor n-gain, nilai persentase per-indikator, dominasi gender menjawab benar dan hasil nilai LKPD.
