Gorontalo Beach is a destination for local tourists, but the condition is a lot of garbage. The focus of the implementation of activities in the Gorontalo Beach area is 1.1 km long and is divided into ten regions for ten teams. This beach cleaning activity also teaches participants that the collected waste can be divided into three types, namely residual waste, economic value plastic waste, and plastic bottle caps. The amount of waste collected from this activity was 34 kg of plastic waste, 4.8 kg of plastic bottle caps, and 242 kg of residual waste. The collected waste is then transported to be transferred to the next process. In addition, there was an educational session for elementary school students by holding a quiz with prizes on waste management. Based on the evaluation of activities, organic waste in the form of wood and trunks of large trees was also found on Gorontalo Beach. Suggestions that can be made based on these conditions are the use of heavy equipment for cleaning tree trunks to be effective and efficient. In addition, organic waste can be used as raw material for wood crafts and fuel for production houses, such as tofu and brick production. Authors:Chrystia Aji Putra, Made Hanindia Prami Swari, Henni Endah Wahanani Pages: 33 - 39 Abstract: Management of learning facilities through good synergy between teachers, students, and parents is certainly needed not only during the pandemic, but also later when schools return to normal face-to-face learning activities as happened before the COVID-19 pandemic hit the world. The key to the formation of a good synergy is through good communication between the three parties, so an easy communication facility is needed. The accumulation of messages on whatsapp and participants can delete messages that have been sent to the management group. Assignment assessment becomes difficult and there is a possibility of missing assignments that have been collected by students in the group. Through this community service activity, the use of information technology is implemented through the development of the MariBelajar E-Learning application that adapts to the needs of students, teachers, and parents, especially at SDN Penjaringansari II/608. Like WhatsApp, the application that was built was made to be easy to use. The application will group students based on the class taken. At the beginning of the display of each class, students and parents will be presented with a menu such as a calendar that contains all activities, both material, task information, discussions, and daily task collection menus, so that all information can be well organized. In addition to system implementation, another agenda is the dissemination of blended learning methods which are a combination of offline and online learning methods that are very suitable to be applied in the current learning period. It is hoped that the socialization provided can be an alternative solution for effective learning methods for each class taught by the teacher at SDN Penjaringansari II/608 PubDate: 2022-11-10 DOI: 10.24071/aa.v5i2.4950 Issue No:Vol. 5, No. 2 (2022)

Authors:Aprillia Ratna Sasmita, Entoh Tohani Pages: 128 - 135 Abstract: Tutoring is one of the efforts to solve problems in a guided manner to achieve maximum learning goals. During the pandemic, learning activities cannot be carried out optimally. This is caused by changes in student learning which were carried out offline at school to be online or carried out independently from home. The application of independent learning is seen as ineffective because the phenomenon is that students, especially at the elementary school level, use their free time more by playing and doing activities outside of learning activities. This has an impact on the less than the optimal process of material absorption and students' cognitive development to be able to accept learning. Therefore, it is necessary to have a guided tutoring effort to maximize the process of student teaching and learning activities that are carried out independently from home. Authors:Abadi Abadi, Dian Savitri, Budi Priyo Prawoto, Rudianto Artiono Pages: 142 - 150 Abstract: In order to prepare students who are able to reason at a high level as well as skilled in using technology, it is necessary to hold a training activity for teachers to design and implement HOTS-oriented learning by utilizing Edmodo as a technology-based teaching medium. The training consisted of material reinforcement (the use of Edmodo, HOTS-oriented learning, preparation of HOTS questions) and workshops (teachers were guided in creating accounts and utilizing the features available in Edmodo as well as developing HOTS-oriented learning modules). The participants were able to inform more about the HOTS after training and about 18 teachers agreed that the participants had been able to construct their learning. In addition, there was also an increase in the ability of teachers to use Edmodo as a technology-based learning media. Of the 22 questionnaires submitted, 14 participants agreed that their understanding of Edmodo had increased and more than 90% of the training participants had been able to understand HOTS-based learning. In addition, although not many participants understand the use of Edmodo, the percentage was still above 50%. In general, 90% of the training participants believe that HOTS-based learning can be applied to the Edmodo as a learning medium. Authors:Ikhsan Hasibuan, Prihanani Prihanani Pages: 151 - 158 Abstract: Stunting is now identified as a major world health priority. Of the world’s 161 million stunted children, about half lived in Asia. Moreover, Bengkulu province is known as a stunting locus in Indonesia with 26.86% of children being classified as stunted. People’s knowledge is one of the main factors that influence stunting growth. Thus, giving information about stunting is an important activity that needs to be done in terms of its prevention. This activity aimed to share information about stunting and how to prevent it by utilizing moringa, and demonstrate how to cook moringa to become healthy and delicious food. The process of this program was socializing about stunting and moringa, and demonstrating cooking moringa into some food and drink. The methods applied were giving a speech, discussion, demonstration, and participant participatory. The main results of these service activities were increasing participant knowledge about stunting and how to prevent it by using moringa for about 88% and 85%, respectively. Ninety-five percent of participants have had the ability to cook moringa into healthy and delicious food. Likewise, those participants are willing to include moringa in the daily menu. Finally, based on these results we believe that what have we done could reduce the number of stunting especially in the Sidomulyo urban village, Bengkulu City PubDate: 2022-11-23 DOI: 10.24071/aa.v5i2.5065 Issue No:Vol. 5, No. 2 (2022)
Authors:Rusdi Sambada, Budi Sugiharto, Lukiyanto Lukiyanto, Yosef Agung Cahyanta, Doddy Purwadianto, PK. Purwadi, Wibowo Kusbandono Pages: 159 - 165 Abstract: SMK Pangudi Luhur Leonardo Klaten is children of productive and innovative ages. So it is necessary to get additional knowledge to increase the power of innovation, especially in the face of increasing competition. Computer programming skills can increase creativity. Computer programming can help improve work efficiency, such as repetitive calculations often encountered in the design of machine elements. However, computer programming generally requires a computer or laptop, which is an obstacle for students in learning programming because they generally do not have computer or laptop facilities. In this service activity, the community service team will introduce another alternative to learning programming, namely using a cellphone (HP). Students from the two vocational schools have cellphones, but they have not been used for programming. The students are generally new to using cellphones for communication, social media or games (games). The HP has not been used as a learning tool due to ignorance, the impression that programming is complicated, and not realizing the benefits of programming itself. The service team will introduce programming using cellphones to change the paradigm so that it is hoped that students can develop programming skills independently from this service activity. It is hoped that vocational students will be more creative and develop programming skills according to their work. In addition, the output targets of this service are sending articles to community service journals uploading information on the web and social media. The rapid development of the population has resulted in the narrowing of residential land because it has been divided among the heirs of children and grandchildren. The limited open land has resulted in several community activities being carried out on environmental roads. The Abdimas empowered the community to participate in mutual cooperation in completing the program. UKDC Architecture Study Program will carry out an activity program for the expansion of the community activity center in 2022 by: 1) Empowering the community to participate in the expansion of the activity center; 2) Together with the residents, they will procure sewer cover material as an expansion of the community's activity center. This is largely determined through good communication, social approaches and intense interaction with residents. The output obtained from this community service program is the expansion of the activity center for the residents of Asempayung RT.02 RW.003. This activity will cover the sewerage of dirty water which is about 2.5 meters wide. Closing the channel will form a space above it, which can be used as a center for residents' activities.
