  • PEMBERIAN LAYANAN PRIORITAS DI RUMAH SAKIT BAGI PENYANDANG DISABILITAS

      Abstract: The presence of a hospital information system as a public facility must be as friendly as possible for patients. Patients can easily access the services provided by the hospital. Unfortunately, not all patients can easily access the service. Patients with disabilities often do not get priority when registering at the hospital. Although it has been delivered and given facilities for it, there are still people who use them unwisely. FTI UKDW, in collaboration with Panti Waluyo Purworejo Hospital, built a mobile-based priority queuing system called SiAPDi (Disability Priority Queue System). This system will help patients with disabilities have direct access to check registrations. Patients with disabilities can go directly to the clinic through this system without the need to pass the registration queue. The stage of making this system is divided into two, namely the first stage of making and adjusting the program, and the second stage of application testing. The program adjustment phase is done remotely because of the covid19 outbreak, and testing on users is also done remotely assisted by hospital staff. In using the application, users only need to choose a doctor, check date, and practice session to examine a hospital polyclinic.

      Abstract: English oral communication proficiency is one of the absolute needs of adult learners in entering the digital industrialization era 4.0, where opportunities and competitions are more massive. Several limitations that are implemented as a response to the Covid-19 pandemic have made it difficult for most adult learners to practice their English communication skill intensively. This community service program aims to provide adult learners with the opportunities to practice English speaking skill through an interactive webinar and online group discussions. The Society Speaking Club was conducted in four meetings with the topics of mental health, diversity, environment, and entrepreneurship. The topics were selected so as to allow participants to relate the discussions to their life more easily, as well as to be more aware about the recent issues. This community service program has benefited the participants in a way that they became more confident and fluent in communicating their ideas effectively. In addition, the participants admitted that they got new insights on the issues being discussed, and they were called into actions for maintaining mental health, promoting and respecting diversity, preserving the environment, and developing entrepreneurial skills.

      Abstract: Tujuan pelatihan ini yaitu ingin meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kemampuan para pengusaha pemula yang baru berusaha, atau pengusaha kecil yang ingin mengembangkan bisnisnya menjadi lebih besar dan lebih terencana. Peningkatan kemampuan manajemen para pengusaha kecil, dapat membantu mereka memperbaiki strategi bisnis, manajemen operasi, pemasaran, keuangan, sumber-daya manusia, dan laporan keuangannya. Target yang ingin dicapai adalah meningkatnya kemampuan para pengusaha pemula atau pengusaha kecil, sehingga mereka mampu memperbaiki manajemen usahanya, meningkatkan penjualannya, dan pada akhirnya mampu meningkatkan skala (ukuran) perusahaan dan laba perusahaannya secara berkelanjutan.Metode pelatihan yang diberikan yaitu berupa presentasi materi cara membuat strategi bisnis, manajemen krisis, manajemen pemasaran saat krisis, cara menghitung Harga Pokok Penjualan (HPP), cara membuat Laporan Laba/Rugi, dan cara membuat Hak Atas Merek. Setelah mengikuti pelatihan selama 2 bulan, semua peserta diwajibkan membuat Kanvas Model Bisnis (Business Model Canvas) awal. Model bisnis ini kemudian secara bertahap dievaluasi dan dikembangkan kembali, sehingga terjadi perbaikan secara berkelanjutan.

      Abstract: Computer programming is the implementation of a logical and coherent way of thinking even in simple problems. Computer programming training with visual basic is one way to take advantage of existing facilities in Microsoft Excel with a more attractive appearance so that it improves the way students learn. The training was carried out with participants of class X Automotive Light Vehicle Engineering Skills at Pangudi Luhur Muntilan Vocational School. The results of this training, students feel that this training is very useful, interesting, suitable, increases motivation to learn and adds insight or provisions after graduation.

The community service activity aims to increase understanding and additional knowledge to the “Mujur Fish Farm” fish farmer group in Donoharjo Village about the product life cycle and digital marketing which is carried out using lecturing, demonstrating, and question & answer methods. The benefits that participants can get from this community service activity include increasing knowledge, understanding, and experience of the "Mujur Fish Farm" fish farmer group in Donoharjo Village about the product life cycle and digital marketing.

      Abstract: Learning in schools during the COVID-19 pandemic requires changes in teaching methods which are adaptive to the conditions and situations of this pandemic. The boredom of students effected a decrease in understanding the concept of the learning materials. The way students tolearn and teachers to teach all this time must be change. The material must be delivered in order to attract children's interest in learning. From the survey results, most teachers only give assignments and materials using power point slides containing a lot of uninteresting texts and make children dependent on their parents to learn it. Therefore, Vocational lecturers of Sanata Dharma univercity  as social community service team held training for teachers at Kanisius Sengkan Elementary School and Kalyca Elementary School to empower power point as software that they are already accustomed to using for teaching, transform it as a video learning media and interesting interactive learning evaluation which make children will be motivated to learn use video effectively and independent. After participating in this training, the teachers took the initiative to make their learning videos more interesting even though they only used MS Powerpoint software.

      Abstract: This community service activity aims to assist The Child Welfare Institution (LKSA) of the HAMBA Foundation in preparing financial statements. Based on the initial observations, this foundation has not prepared financial statements in accordance to Indonesian Accounting Standards about the presentation of non-profit financial statements. This foundation is supposed to present financial statement in accordance to accounting standard for non-profit organization. The activity of this community service begins with (1) identifying and understanding the existing business processes of The Child Welfare Institution of the HAMBA Foundation, (2) accounting principles and practices at The Child Welfare Institution of the HAMBA Foundation, (3) evaluating whether the financial statements that have been prepared are in accordance with the Accounting Standard for Financial statements in Indonesia, and (4) recommendations for improvement to improve the quality of financial statements. The results achieved from this community service are excel software for The Child Welfare Institution of the HAMBA Foundation. Thus, the foundation can make financial statements quickly and accountably. The recommendation for The Child Welfare Institution of the HAMBA Foundation is to continue using the software to compile the financial reports.

      Abstract: This community service activity is motivated by the weak understanding of elementary school teachers in HOTS-oriented learning. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct training in designing thematic learning that is oriented towards HOTS. The training is carried out by presenting information, holding responses and group discussions on previously informed material and holding HOTS-based learning tools preparation exercises. The training was attended by elementary school teachers in District of Pesawaran. Based on the results of observations and written tests, the teachers were active in following the material presentation, discussion and preparation of HOTS learning tools. In addition, teachers' understanding has improved. This is evidenced by the pretest and posttest n-gain values of 0.09. However, the increase is not significant. Thus, it can be concluded that the participants' conceptual understanding of HOTS-oriented learning increased. This increase occurred because the previous participants did not really understand the true meaning of HOTS-oriented learning. Through this activity, participants get more detailed and easily accepted knowledge because in addition to presenting the material, the implementer also provides guidance on the development of learning designs. However, there is a need for ongoing technical guidance related to its implementation in classroom learning both online and face-to-face.

      Abstract: The training for workplace trainers in apprenticeship is at the heart of our aim of the community service. Training activities were carried out in Semarang and Solo in 2020. The training utilized the principle of andragogy and gaining success with 50 certified workplace trainers. The primary challenging part in conducted training for workplace trainers was about the degree of quantity and quality of the portfolio as competencies evidence. Applying the andragogy principle in this training with ice-breaking games, controlling participants' progress portfolio are among the success factors. The key performance indicator for successful training is based on the results of an assessment competency that provides competent recommendations for all training participants. This article also reveals the use of a model that applies creative andragogy to competency-based training that emphasizes the individual's ability to absorb learning.

      Abstract: The Covid-19 pandemic has resulted in restrictions on activities in various fields, which have an impact on the decline in the level of the economy. The tourism sector is one of the sectors experiencing the biggest losses due to the current pandemic. Therefore, an adaptation step is needed to ensure the operation of tourism activities, which is the additional of a health protocol to the business process of tourism activities. Kalisuci Tourism Village is one of the tourism villages that implements health protocols in its business processes. However, the implementation of this protocol has not been documented therefor it cannot be evaluated periodically. This community service activity aims to assist tourism village managers in analyzing and documenting business processes with health protocols. This service is expected to help Kalisuci Tourism Village to have business process documentation as a guide to implement standards services for tourists. The methods used in this activity were observation, analysis and evaluation, as well as mentoring services. The results of this activity consist of 3 business process documentation for each business unit in Kalisuci Tourism Village.

      Abstract: The service program aims to increase public knowledge about various kinds of digital media literacy information, especially related to job opportunities, schools, Islamic boarding schools, and scholarships as an effort to form and develop an education literate society and alleviate poverty. The specific targets are: (1) Basic use of computers to search for information and needs; (2) the use of subjective needs and abilities; and (3) a consultation room for the information obtained. The method used: (1). Socialization about “Umah Information” at Azzahra Reading Park; (2). Socialization material according to target. The results of the service show that the village community is very interested in the digitization program, because of the availability of computers (PCs and laptops) that cannot be owned and accessed. Browsing is the easiest thing, as a habit from HP. The understanding and use of word, ppt, excel, and others is low, of the 30 participants consisting of elementary, high school students, junior high school age students - high school students, mothers and fathers from various professions, only those who have a profession as formal workers such as teachers, who already know, and are able to operate, and adapt quickly during training.

      Abstract: Natural disasters can occur anywhere and anytime which can cause losses both in terms of material and non-material and can even cause casualties. Pomahan Village, Pulung District, Ponorogo Regency is located in a mountainous area so that the area is prone to disasters both in the form of natural disasters and non-natural disasters such as disasters arising from human activities. Public understanding of disaster mitigation must be improved, especially for the younger generation. It is intended that the risks or impacts arising from the occurrence of disasters can be reduced and the public knows about the first treatment in the event of a disaster. This service activity aims to increase the knowledge and abilities of the youth community in Pomahan village in disaster mitigation management. The implementation of service activities is carried out by holding socialization, discussion and question and answer. The implementation of this socialization activity was carried out to the youth community in Pomahan village. The socialization activity was carried out on Thursday 15 July 2021 which was carried out face-to-face via the Zoom application. The activity was attended by 10 participants from the youth community in Pomahan village. From these socialization activities, youth are expected to be able to apply the knowledge gained during socialization activities in the event of a disaster so that the impact can be reduced. The result of this community service activity is increasing knowledge from the youth community in Pomahan village about disaster mitigation management and first handling when a disaster occurs.
