  • Improving Procedure Text Learning Outcomes Using Cooking Recipes

      Abstract: This study aims to examine the use of cooking recipes to improve learning outcomes of procedural texts. In learning activities, it was found a problem that student learning outcomes in complex procedure materials were still low. This can be seen from student learning outcomes, where the average value of the learning process is only 45 or 10% above the predetermined KKM, which is 78. Based on this fact, it is necessary to improve the implementation of learning which is carried out in 2 cycles with stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection of each cycle. The research method applied was a class action research using Kurt Lewin's model, which was conducted on 33 students of class X IIS 4 consisting of 20 girls and 13 boys at SMA Negeri 1 Tanjungpandan. Based on the analysis of the research data, it can be seen that the use of cooking recipes can improve the learning outcomes of procedural texts in class X semester 1 students of SMA Negeri 1 Tanjungpandan in the 2014/2015 academic year. This is evidenced by the average value obtained by students increasing to 85% with an average value of 90.   Keywords: learning outcomes, procedure text, cooking recipes   Abstrak   Pelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji penggunaan resep masakan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar teks prrosedur Dalam kegiatan pembelajaran ditemukan masalah bahwa hasil belajar siswa dalam materi prosedur kompleks masih rendah. Hal ini terlihat dari hasil belajar siswa yang rata-rata nilai proses belajar hanya 45 atau 10 % di atas KKM yang telah ditetapkan yaitu 78. Berdasarkan kenyataan tersebut maka perlu dilakukan perbaikan pelaksanaan pembelajaran yang dilakukan dalam 2 siklus dengan tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi masing-masing siklus. Metode penelitian yang diterapkan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas model Kurt Lewin yang dilakukan pada siswa kelas X IIS 4 berjumlah 33 siswa yang terdiri atas 20 orang perempuan dan 13 orang laki-laki di SMA Negeri 1 Tanjungpandan. Berdasarkan analisis data hasil penelitian, dapat diketahui bahwa penggunaan resep masakan dapat meningkatkan   hasil belajar teks prosedur pada siswa kelas X semester 1 SMA Negeri 1 Tanjungpandan tahun pelajaran 2014/2015. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh siswa meningkat menjadi 85 % dengan rata-rata nilai 90.   Kata kunci: hasil belajar, teks prosedur, resep masakan

  • Developing of The Text Book Fictional Prase Mind Mapping-Based of STKIP
           Muhammadiyah Sungai Penuh

      Abstract: The purpose of this research is to describe the development textbook of “Fictional Prose Mind Mapping-Based” that is valid, practical, and effective in achieving the learning goal of students of Education of Indonesian Language Department, STKIP Muhammadiyah Sungai Penuh. The type of the research is Research and Development/R&D with 4-D research model that starts with defining step, designing, and developing. This research uses quantitative approach. The data type of this research is quantitative data that consist of three types of data which are data validated by expert, data from practitioner’s assessments, and effectiveness data in form of learning results and student’s activities. Research result shows that mind mapping-based textbook that is being developed is valid in terms of the feasibility of the language, content, presentation, and graph with a score of 79,6 which falls into valid criteria; it is practical in terms of ease of use with practicality score 83,1 by the student’s which falls into very valid criteria; it is effective in terms of student’s learning results with average classicalof 79 which is qualified as Good (B) and the activities of students got a score of 85,8 with classification active. Thus, this textbook has been feasible to use in supporting learning process of Fictional Prose Course in Education of Indonesian Language and Literature Department, STKIP Muhammadiyah Sungai Penuh.   Keywords: mind mapping, fictional prose, valid, practicality, effective       Abstrak   Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses pengembangan buku ajar “Telaah dan Apresiasi Prosa Fiksi” dengan pendekatan mind mapping yang valid, praktis, dan efektif. Pengembangan buku ajar disusun untuk mencapai tujuan pembelajaran pada Matakuliah Telaah dan Apresiasi Prosa Fiksi, Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Indonesia di STKIP Muhammadiyah Sungai Penuh. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan atau R&D yang bertujuan mengembangkan buku “Telaah dan Apresiasi Prosa Fiksi” yang valid, praktis, dan efektif. Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah 4D yang diawali dengan tahap definisi, tahap desain, tahap pengembangan. Penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan tiga jenis data yaitu data validasi ahli, data kepraktisan buku ajar dari mahasiswa, dan data efektivitas yang dari hasil belajar dan aktivitas mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa buku ajar “Telaah dan Apresiasi Prosa Fiksi” layak digunakan dengan perincian sebagai berikut. Aspek bahasa, penyajian, isi, dan kegrafikan dengan skor total 79,6 (valid). Aspek kepraktisan diperoleh dari angket yang diisi mahasiswa dengan skor total 83,1 (sangat valid). Aspek efektivitas diukur dari rata-rata hasil belajar mahasiswa yaitu sebesar 79%, dengan kualifikasi Baik (B) dan dari tingkat keaktifan mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran yaitu 85,8% dengan klasifikasi sangat berhasil. Dari nilai yang diperoleh dapat disimpulkan bahwa buku ajar dapat digunakan untuk mendukung pembelajaran Telaah dan Apresiasi Prosa Fiksi di Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Indonesia STKIP Muhammadiyah Sungai Penuh.   Kata Kunci: peta pikiran, telaah prosa, valid, praktis, efektif

  • Modality Epistemic Adverb in “Mata Najwa” Episode of
           “PSBB Rasa Kompromi”

      Abstract: Media is a means of information that conveys a message about a problem that is being experienced. Mass media includes newspapers, magazines, radio, television, blogs on the internet, and others. On television, there are many versions of information delivery, one of which is talk shows. In a talkshow, there is the attitude of the speaker when discussing his opinion through the use of words, phrases and clauses that can be analyzed. The analysis in this study focuses on Epistemic Modality in a talkshow of Mata Najwa on Trans7. The thesis with the title Epistemic Modality in Najwa's Eye Impressions Episode "PSBB Rasa Kompromi" aims to describe four types of epistemic modality found in Mata Najwa's shows. Researchers used the Alwi Epistemic Modality theory to analyze the data found on the object of study. The approach to this research uses a qualitative descriptive approach or method. The data used in this study are in the form of vocabulary in sentences that have elements of the Epistemic Modality. The data source was obtained from Mata Najwa's broadcast of the PSBB Rasa Kompromi episode on Wednesday, September 16, 2020. Then the data collection came from the video in the form of a typed interview transcript. The data analysis technique used was identification, grouping each type of epistemic modality, processing, then concluding. The results showed that the four types of epistemic modalities were found based on appropriate methods and techniques on the object of the Mata Najwa talkshow including possibility, practice, necessity, and certainty.   Keywords: epistemic modality, PSBB, talkshow, Mata Najwa     Abstrak   Media merupakan sarana informasi yang menyampaikan sebuah pesan mengenai suatu masalah yang sedang dialami. Media massa meliputi koran, majalah, radio, televisi,  blog di internet, dan lain-lain. Di televisi sendiri banyak versi dalam penyampaian informasi, salah satunya talkshow. Dalam sebuah talkshow, terdapat sikap pembicara saat  berdiskusi dalam menyampaikan pendapatnya melalui pemakaian kata, frasa, dan klausa yang bisa dianalisis. Analisis pada penelitian ini berfokus pada modalitas epistemik dalam “Mata Najwa” di Trans7. Penelitian dengan judul “Modalitas Epistemik pada Tayangan Mata Najwa Episode “PSBB  Rasa Kompromi” memiliki tujuan mendeskripsikan empat jenis modalitas epistemik yang ditemukan pada tayangan tersebut. Peneliti menggunakan teori modalitas epistemik Alwi untuk melakukan analisis data yang ditemukan pada objek kajian tersebut. Pendekatan pada penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan atau metode deskriptif kualitatif. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa kosakata dalam kalimat yang memiliki unsur modalitas epistemik. Sumber data diperoleh dari tayangan “Mata Najwa” episode “PSBB Rasa Kompromi” yang ditayangkan pada hari Rabu, 16 September 2020. Pengumpulan data berupa transkrip tayangan. Teknik analisis data yang dilakukan yaitu mengidentifikasi, mengelompokkan setiap jenis modalitas epistemik, mengolah, kemudian menyimpulkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keempat jenis modalitas epistemic ditemukan berdasarkan metode dan teknik yang sesuai pada objek talkshow “Mata Najwa” meliputi kemungkinan, keteramalan, keharusan, dan kepastian.    Kata kunci: modalitas epistemik, PSBB, talkshow, Mata Najwa

      Abstract: This study aims to describe a form of discourse analysis based on discourse and text describing the factors that affect the practice of discourse. The goal prompted researchers to examine in a study entitled "Critical Discourse Analysis on “Novel Yusuf and Mentari” by Irma Surya”. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The results showed that: first, the critical discourse analysis see representation or description text displayed events ranging from active to bring perpetrators sentences and semantically interpret deskridtif, describes between one clause with the clause can be combined so that they form a sentence meaning or the sense of coherence or cohesion.   Keywords: critical discourse analysis, discourse practices, novel, representation,        sociocultural     Abstrak   Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk analisis wacana berbasis wacana dan teks.   • Use of Indonesian Vocabulary by Children in KB Aisyyah III Baruga

      Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the vocabulary used by children in KB Aisyiyah III Baruga and describe the class classification of words spoken by children in KB Aisyiyah III Baruga. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method. The data in this study are in the form of vocabulary spoken by children in KB Aisyiyah III Baruga. Data collection uses the speaking and listening method while the data collection technique uses elicitation, recording, and note-taking techniques. The data collected were analyzed using psycholinguistic methods, then data analysis was carried out through data identification, data presentation, and concluding. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be stated that the number of vocabulary used by children 0-6 years is different from one another. The types of Indonesian vocabulary used by children are 27 types of vocabulary that refer to concrete or real things. Children's vocabulary covers almost all classes of Indonesian words, namely nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, pronouns, numerals, prepositions, and conjunctions. However, the dominant a word-class used is nouns. Keywords: vocabulary, word class, children   Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kosakata yang digunakan oleh anak-anak di KB Aisyiyah III Baruga dan mendeskripsikan klasifikasi kelas kata yang diucapkan oleh anak-anak di KB Aisyiyah III Baruga. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Data dalam penelitian ini berupa kosakata yang dituturkan oleh anak-anak di KB Aisyiyah III Baruga. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode cakap dan simak, sedangkan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik elisitasi, rekam, dan catat. Data-data yang dikumpulkan dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode psikolinguistik. Selanjutnya, analisis data dilakukan melalui identifikasi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan simpulan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dapat dikemukakan bahwa jumlah kosakata yang digunakan anak 0-6 tahun berbeda antara satu dengan yang lain. Jenis  kosakata bahasa Indonesia yang digunakan anak sebanyak 27 jenis kosakata yang mengacu pada hal-hal konkret atau nyata. Kosakata anak mencakup hampir seluruh kelas kata bahasa Indonesia, yaitu nomina, verba, adjektiva, adverbia, pronomina, numeralia, preposisi, dan konjungsi.   • The Analysis of Hoax News Content on Facebook Reviewed from Theory of
           Critical Discourse Analysis and Linguistic Rules

      Abstract: The threat of hoax news on social media makes a news reader more alert. This case encourages someone to increase personal security so that someone is not trapped by leading opinions that are not related to the actual facts. This study aims to describe the analysis of hoax news content on facebook social media in terms of theory of critical discourse analysis and linguistic rules. A qualitative approach with descriptive method was used in this study. The data collection technique used a documentation study on three hoax news content published on facebook. The data analysis technique used triangulation which consisted of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing and verification. Based on the theory of critical discourse analysis, the results of the study showed that in the representation aspect, hoax news content did not show an appropriate representation between the images presented and the text written on the news. On the aspect of relations, hoax news content did not show an appropriate relationship to the news content. On the aspect of identity, hoax news content does not have a complete identity. In addition, based on the linguistic aspect, in the aspect of word writing, the majority of hoax news content writing used non-standard language. In the element of using capital letters, in hoax news content, it was found that there was an inconsistent use of capital letters. Moreover, on the element of using punctuation, on hoax news content it was found that there were many errors in the use of punctuation. The findings of this study can be used as a reference for news readers to identify news that is classified as hoax or not. Keywords: hoax news, critical discourse analysis, linguistic rules     Abstrak Ancaman berita hoaks pada media sosial menjadikan seorang pembaca berita menjadi lebih waspada. Hal ini mendorong seseorang untuk meningkatkan keamanan diri pribadi agar tidak terjebak dengan penggiringan opini yang tidak berkaitan dengan fakta yang sebenarnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan analisis konten berita hoaks pada media sosial facebook ditinjau dari teori critical discourse analysis dan kaidah kebahasaan. Pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif digunakan pada penelitian ini. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan studi dokumentasi pada tiga buah konten berita hoaks yang dipublikasikan di facebook. Teknik analisis data menggunakan triangulasi yang terdiri dari tahap reduksi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan simpulan dan verifikasi. Ditinjau dari Critical Discourse Analysis, hasil penelitian menunjukkan pada aspek representasi, konten berita hoaks tidak menunjukkan representasi yang sesuai antara gambar yang disajikan dengan teks yang ditulis pada berita tersebut. Pada aspek relasi, konten berita hoaks tidak menunjukkan relasi yang sesuai pada isi berita. Adapun pada aspek identitas, konten berita hoaks tidak memiliki identitas yang lengkap. Selain itu, jika ditinjau dari aspek kebahasaan, pada aspek penulisan kata, penulisan konten berita hoaks mayoritas menggunakan bahasa yang tidak baku. Pada unsur penggunaan huruf kapital, pada konten berita hoaks ditemukan adanya pemakaian huruf kapital yang tidak konsisten. Adapun pada unsur penggunaan tanda baca, pada konten berita hoaks ditemukan terdapat banyak kesalahan pada pemakaian tanda baca. Temuan penelitian ini dapat menjadi rujukan bagi pembaca berita untuk mengidentifikasi sebuah berita yang termasuk ke dalam berita hoaks maupun bukan.   Kata kunci: berita hoaks, critical discourse analysis, kaidah kebahasaan

      Abstract: This research discusses about the moral values ​​in selected folklore of the Toraja tribe, namely Seredukung and Lakipadada by Junus Bunga Lebang. The purpose of this research is to find out what the moral values are can be found in selected folklores of Toraja tribes. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive method. The data is taken from selected Toraja folklore, namely Seredukung and Lakipadada by Junus Bunga Lebang. This research uses Thomas Lickona's conceptual theory of moral values. The results of this research indicates that, there are seven moral values ​​in the selected folklore of the Toraja tribe, namely Seredukung and Lakipadada. There are three moral values that can be found in Seredukung folklore, namely responsibility, tolerance, and self-discipline. While in Lakipadada folklore there are four moral values that can be found namely honesty, helpfulness, cooperation, and courage.   Keywords: moral values, folklores of Toraja Tribes, Seredukung, Lakipadada Abstrak Penelitian ini membahas tentang nilai moral pada cerita rakyat terpilih suku Toraja yaitu Seredukung dan Lakipadada karya Junus Bunga Lebang, Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apa saja nilai-nilai moral yang terdapat dalam cerita rakyat terpilih suku Toraja. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitif. Data diambil dari cerita rakyat terpilih suku Toraja yaitu Seredukung dan Lakipadada karya Junus Bunga Lebang. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori konsep Thomas Lickona tentang nilai moral. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat tujuh nilai moral pada cerita rakyat terpilih suku Toraja yaitu Seredukung dan Lakipadada. Ada tiga nilai moral yang terdapat dalam cerita rakyat Seredukung, yaitu tanggung jawab, toleransi, dan disiplin diri. Sedangkan dalam cerita rakyat Lakipadada terdapat empat nilai moral yang dapat ditemukan yaitu kejujuran, tolong menolong, kerjasama, dan keberanian.   • Student Perceptions on Online Learning for Indonesian General Course In
           The Pandemic Covid-19 Phase

      Abstract: The Covid-19 pandemic has had an impact on the education sector. The government's efforts to break the chain of the spread of the Covid-19, which is growing massively, is by implementing an online learning policy. This study aims to determine student perceptions of online learning for Indonesian general courses in the Covid-19 pandemic phase. This study uses a survey method approach with a descriptive nature which aims to describe the situation or phenomenon that occurs. The subjects of this study were Sebelas Maret University students who were active in the odd semester of the 2021/2022 academic year, totaling 124 students. Data collection techniques were carried out by distributing questionnaires filled out online by students. The results showed that online learning can be accessed easily (66.1% agree), provide high learning motivation (48.4% agree and 48.4% disagree), online learning does not provide high learning motivation (50.8 % agree), carried out on time according to the study schedule (63.7% agree), learning materials are presented in accordance with the syllabus (71.8% agree), the lecturer responds to questions and opinions that arise (64.5 % agree), the lecturer gives you the opportunity to give questions or opinions (62.9% agree), online learning makes me believe the value of the Indonesian general courses that are followed increases (67.7% agree), the media/application used is very good easy to use (78.2% agree), easy to collect assignments and exams online (69.4% agree). It can be concluded that online learning for Indonesian general courses in the Covid-19 pandemi phase received a good response from students and it is recommended that lecturers always provide motivation to students.

      Abstract: The purpose of this research is to identify intertextual study in comparative literature of Oedipus folklore and Sangkuriang folklore. The intertextual study of comparative literature in this study aims to obtain identification results regarding affirmations, negations, restorations, and parodies in literary works through folklore. The research used is descriptive qualitative research with descriptive analysis method. The objects used in this research are Oedipus folklore and Sangkuriang folklore. The results of this study show some data obtained from affirmations, negations, and parodies. There are two affirmations obtained in the intertextual study of the Oedipus folklore and the Sangkuriang folklore. There are two negations found in the intertextual study of the Oedipus folklore and the Sangkuriang folklore. There is only one parody found in the intertextual study of the Oedipus folklore and the Sangkuriang folklore. However, restoration in the intertextual study of the two folklores in this study was not found.   Abstrak   Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi adanya kajian intertekstual dalam sastra bandingan antara cerita rakyat “Oedipus” dan cerita rakyat “Sangkuriang”. Kajian intertekstual dalam sastra bandingan dalam penelitian ini ingin memperoleh hasil identifikasi mengenai afirmasi, negasi, restorasi, dan parody dalam karya sastra melalui cerita rakyat. Penelitian yang digunakan ialah penelitian deksriptif kualitatif dengan metode deksriptif analisis. Objek yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah cerita rakyat “Oedipus” dan cerita rakyat “Sangkuriang”. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan beberapa data yang diperoleh dari afirmasi, negasi, dan parodi. Afirmasi yang diperoleh dalam kajian intertekstual pada cerita rakyat “Oedipus” dan cerita rakyat “Sangkuriang” ada dua afirmasi. Negasi yang ditemukan dalam kajian intertekstual dalam cerita rakyat “Oedipus” dan cerita rakyat “Sangkuriang” ada dua negasi. Parodi yang ditemukan dalam kajian intertekstual dalam cerita rakyat “Oedipus” dan cerita rakyat “Sangkuriang” hanya ada satu parodi. Namun, restorasi dalam kajian intertekstual terhadap kedua cerita rakyat dalam penelitian ini tidak ditemukan. Kata kunci: kajian intertekstual, cerita rakyat, teks transformasi

      Abstract: This research aims to explain (1) the form and category of the compact lexicon in the Bugis society; (2) Cultural value or meaning in the myth speech of the kepadian  bugis society. The data collection method used in research is a method of observation, which is carefully the speech expressed by informants, especially speech related to the data lexicon of cohesion. This method is accompanied by several techniques such as the technique of listening to observation- participatory, interviews, audiovisual recording, and taking notes. Data is quantitatively analyzed. The results showed that there are various forms and categories of compact lexicon in the Bugis society. Treasures of the compact lexicon in the Bugis society that patronize the lexicon dynamics of cohesion in the Bugis society, changes in the physical and social environment; the development of science and technology; Changes in the mental attitudes of the younger generation towards the values, norms, and socio-cultural prevailing in society.   Keywords: Kepadian lexicon, Bugis culture, ekolinguistic   Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan menjelaskan (1) bentuk dan kategori leksikon kepadian pada masyarakat Bugis; (2) nilai budaya atau makna dalam tuturan mitos kepadian masyarakat Bugis. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah metode simak (pengamatan), yaitu secara seksama tuturan yang diujarkan oleh informan, terutama tuturan yang berkaitan dengan data leksikon kepadian. Metode ini disertai dengan beberapa teknik seperti teknik simak libat cakap (observasi- partisipatuf), wawancara, rekam secara audiovisual, dan catat. Data dianalisis secara kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat bermacam-macam bentuk dan kategori leksikon kepadian pada masyarakat Bugis. Khazanah leksikon kepadian pada masyarakat Bugis yang memenguruhi dinamika leksikon kepadian pada masyarakat Bugis, yakni terjadi perubahan lingkungan fisik dan sosial; perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi; perubahan sikap mental generasi muda terhadap nilai, norma, dan sosio kultural yang berlaku dalam masyarakat.       Abstract: The aim of this study are to describe the implicature of illocutionary speech acts on the Najwa Shihab Talk Show, analyze the compliance with politeness principles on the Najwa Shihab talk show, and analyze the violation of politeness principles on the Najwa Shihab talk show. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The data source was obtained from Najwa Shihab's Youtube video on the talk show Najwa's notes "Exclusive: Ma'ruf Amin about the Forgotten Vice President" and Mata Najwa's Talk Show "Don't Wait Your Turn" in the form of conversation transcripts. Collecting data using the method of listening and note-taking techniques. The results of this study are as follows, first the implicature of illocutionary speech acts, including assertive, directive, expressive, and commissive. Second, obeying the principle of politeness. Thirdly violating the principle of politeness. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Sumber data diperoleh dari video Youtube Najwa Shihab acara talk show Catatan Najwa “Eksklusif: Ma’ruf Amin soal Wapres yang Terlupakan” dan Talk Show Mata Najwa “Jangan Tunggu Giliran” berupa transkripsi percakapan. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode simak dan teknik simak catat.  Hasil penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut, pertama implikatur tindak tutur ilokusi, meliputi asertif, direktif, ekspresif, dan komisif. Kedua, pematuhan prinsip kesantunan. Ketiga, pelanggaran prinsip kesantunan.       Abstract: This study examines the onomastics of people's names and place names in the news text of the Kompas daily "Sosok" rubric. The background of this research is to be able to describe the origin, form and meaning of people's names and places' names in the "Sosok" rubric. The purposes of this study are (1) to describe the origin, shape, and meaning of people's names in the news text of the Kompas daily "Sosok" rubric, (2) to describe the origin, shape, and meaning of place names in the Kompas daily "Sosok" news text. Data collection methods and techniques in this study used the listening method with the basic tapping technique, the follow-up technique of Simak, Libas, Baca, Cakap (SLBC) and the advanced technique of note-taking. The methods and techniques of data analysis in this study used the referential equivalent method and the basic determining Pilah Unsur Penentu (PUP) and the advanced comparison Hubung, Banding, Menyamakan (HBS). The results of the research on onomastics contained in the news text of the Kompas daily “Sosok” rubric found 31 data. The type of origin, form, and meaning of people's names found 15 types consisting of 15 data. Types of origin, form, and meaning of self-name where there are 13 types consisting of 16 data.   Keywords: onomastics, personal name, place name       Abstrak   Penelitian ini mengkaji onomastika nama diri orang dan nama diri tempat dalam teks pada rubrik “Sosok” di harian Kompas. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan asal-usul, bentuk, dan makna nama diri orang dan nama diri tempat yang ada dalam rubrik “Sosok” harian Kompas. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) mendeskripsikan asal-usul, bentuk, dan makna nama orang dalam teks berita rubrik “Sosok” harian Kompas, (2) mendeskripsikan asal-usul, bentuk, dan makna nama tempat dalam teks berita rubrik “Sosok” harian Kompas. Metode dan teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode simak dengan teknik dasar sadap, teknik lanjutan Simak, Libas, Bebas, Cakap (SLBC) dan teknik lanjutan catat. Metode dan teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode padan referensial dan teknik dasar Pilah Unsur Penentu (PUP) dan teknik lanjutan Hubung, Banding, Samakan (HBS). Hasil penelitian terhadap onomastika yang terdapat dalam teks berita rubrik “Sosok” harian Kompas ini ditemukan sebanyak 31 data. Jenis asal-usul, bentuk dan makna nama diri orang ditemukan 15 jenis terdiri dari 15 data.       Abstract: Language is a communication tool that is systematic which is usually used by humans. Language is also used to communicate between two or more people. Language is divided into two, namely spoken language and written language. Spoken language is a variety of language expressed by spoken media, while written language is a variation of language used with written media. This study aims to describe the forms of written Indonesian errors in the news on the website www.krjogja.com in August 2021 which include: (1) describing the forms of errors in Indonesian in the field of spelling, (2) describing the forms of errors in Indonesian in the fields of (3) describing the relationship Write Indonesian errors in the news on the website www.krjogja.com with the Indonesian Language Error Analysis teaching material. This research belongs to the type of descriptive research. The subject of this research is the website www.krjogja.com and the object of the research is in the form of written Indonesian errors in spelling and syntax. The data collection methods and techniques used were the listening method and the basic tapping technique, followed by the advanced free-involvement-free listening (SBLC) technique, and the note-taking technique. Based on the results of this study, it resulted in the form of written Indonesian errors, namely the connection of written Indonesian errors on the www.krjogja.com site which was used as an alternative teaching material for Indonesian error analysis lectures, one of which was written Indonesian errors in the spelling field as many as 10 forms of errors, and the syntax field. as many as 10 types of errors.   Keywords: error analysis, spelling, syntax   Abstrak   Bahasa merupakan alat komunikasi yang bersifat sistematis yang biasa digunakan oleh manusia. Bahasa juga digunakan untuk berkomunikasi antara dua orang atau lebih. Bahasa dibagi menjadi dua yaitu bahasa lisan dan bahasa tulis. Bahasa lisan adalah ragam bahasa yang diungkapkan dengan media lisan, sedangkan bahasa tulis merupakan varisi bahasa yang digunakan dengan media tulisan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk kesalalahan berbahasa Indonesia tulis pada berita di situs www.krjogja.com bulan Agustus 2021 yang meliputi: (1) mendeskripsikan bentuk kesalahan berbahasa Indonesia bidang ejaan, (2) mendeskripsikan bentuk kesalahan berbahasa Indonesia bidang, (3) mendeskripsikanketerkaitan kesalahan berbahasa Indonesia tulis pada berita di situs www.krjogja.com dengan bahan ajar Analisis Kesalahan Berbahasa Indonesia. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian deskriptif. Adapun subjek penelitian ini adalah situs www.krjogja.com dan objek penelitiannya berupa bentuk kesalahan berbahasa Indonesia tulis bidang ejaan dan sintaksis. Metode dan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan ialah metode simak dan teknik dasar sadap, diikuti  teknik lanjutan simak bebas libat cakap (SBLC), dan teknik catat. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini menghasilkan wujud kesalahan berbahasa Indonesia tulis yaitu kaitan kesalahan berbahasa Indonesia tulis pada situs www.krjogja.com yang dijadikan alternatif bahan ajar perkuliahan analisis kesalahan berbahasa Indonesia salah satunya bentu kesalahan berbahasa Indonesia tulis bidang ejaan sebanyak 10 bentuk kesalahan, dan bidang sintaksis sebanyak 10 bentuk kesalahan.   Kata kunci: analisis kesalahan berbahasa, ejaan, sintaksis

  • Integrated Language Learning in Elementary School

      Abstract: Language is not only from words, but also meaning behind those words. In discourse, there are two components: intra linguistics and extra linguistics. Intra-linguistic component means discourse build from word to word, phrase to phrase, sentences to sentences, paragraph to paragraph at the end it becomes discourse. Extra linguistics competences have some components, settings, purposes, and others component when the text is composed. I will explain how to teach discourse in teaching reading. First, teacher gives questions to open the class; the question should open students' background knowledge about subject at that day. At that stage, teachers should try to raise students' curiosity at that topic. Teachers should ask students opinion about the topic. After that stage, the teacher gives students an up-to-date material close to students' real life. In this stage, students read it by scanning and skimming. The next step, teacher asks students to analyze structure (grammar), vocabulary, and how author developing ideas their composition.

  • Anies Baswedan’s Directive Speech Act In Greeting Speech Of The 434th

      Abstract: This study aims to describe the types, functions, and effects of directive speech acts in the greeting speech delivered by Anies Baswedan in the commemoration ceremony of the 494th anniversary of DKI Jakarta. The research approach used in this research is a theoretical and methodological approach. The theoretical approach used is a pragmatic approach, while the methodological approach used is a descriptive and qualitative approach. The data in this study are fragments of Anies Baswedan's speech, while the data source for this research is Anies Baswedan's welcoming speech in a YouTube video uploaded by the DKI Jakarta Regional Government. Data collection was carried out using the listening method with the basic technique, namely tapping technique, followed by an advanced technique, namely the conversational free listening technique which was then followed by recording and note-taking techniques. Data analysis using heuristic method. Presentation of the results of data analysis using informal methods. The results of the research in Anies Baswedan's speech found various variations of speech. Based on the types of speech acts found are directive speech acts inviting, asking, ordering, and advising.

      Abstract: The study aims to understand about standard and non-standard language in writing ethics properly and correctly. This research used descriptive methods. The research approach is qualitative research. Through this research, researchers will obtain data on Indonesian writing errors on a plaque. The results found in the form of standard and non-standard language sentences. Every word or sentence contained in a plaque, of course, errors can be found in the writing. This relates to standard and non-standard language. Standard language is a language whose writing is formal, there are no abbreviated words and the writing is in accordance with the linguistic structure. Meanwhile, non-standard language is an informal language whose writing is like but still ethical. Many people do not know the right writing when writing something. So that the results of research conducted by researchers can describe various Indonesian writing errors on a plaque. Keywords: standard language, nonstandard language   Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami penulisan bahasa yang baku dan non baku dalam etika penulisan secara baik dan benar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif. Pendekatan penelitian adalah penelitian kualitatif. Melalui penelitian ini maka peneliti akan memperoleh data kesalahan penulisan Bahasa Indonesia pada sebuah plakat. Hasil yang ditemukan berupa kalimat bahasa baku dan non baku. Setiap kata atau kalimat yang terdapat pada sebuah plakat, tentu dapat dijumpai kesalahan di dalam penulisannya. Hal tersebut berhubungan dengan bahasa baku dan non baku. Bahasa baku adalah bahasa yang tulisannya formal tidak ada kata yang disingkat dan penulisannya sesuai dengan struktur kebahasaan. Sedangkan bahasa non baku bahasa yang nonformal yang penulisannya mana suka tetapi tetap beretika. Banayak orang yang tidak tahu akan kepenulisan yang tepat ketika menulis sesuatu. Sehingga hasil penelitian yang dilakukan peneliti dapat mendeskripsikan berbagai kesalahan penulisan bahasa Indonesia pada sebuah plakat. Kata kunci: bahasa baku, bahasa nonbaku

  • Increasing Literacy Movement Through Community of Practitioners 24 (KP-24)

      Abstract: The formation of a community of practitioners in this activity is relevant to advancing the literacy movement in Indonesia. The Community of Practitioners 24 (KP-24) empowers the cultivation of character education, environmental education, and family education through the literacy movement. The method of implementing this literacy movement activity is program planning, program implementation, and evaluation. In carrying out this activity, the community building team partnered with expert trainers of the Mobilizing School Program and the GAIN-IETTI Global TESOL Academy organization. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan gerakan literasi ini yaitu perencanaan program, pelaksanaan program, dan evaluasi. Dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan ini, tim pembentukan komunitas bermitra dengan para pelatih ahli Program Sekolah Penggerak yang dan organisasi GAIN-IETTI Global TESOL Academy.       Abstract:   The research entitled “Poetry Writing Ability As A Critical Thinking Representation Towards Social Reality of 9-A Students In SMPN 1 Kedungpring” aims to describe the ability to write poetry in terms of the structure of poetry, interpretation of meaning, and the form of social reality that is displayed based on the level of complexity of meaning.. This research is a qualitative type with a descriptive method. Data collection was obtained from the students’ poetry anthology with a total 32 poems. Based on the results of the analysis of the ability to write poetry as a representation of critical thinking on social reality, there are 6 poems with low complexity of meaning, 15 poems of medium complexity of meaning, and 11 poems of high level of complexity of meaning.   Keywords: representation, writing poetry ability, social reality, critical thinking     Abstrak   Penelitian yang berjudul “Kemampuan Menulis Puisi Sebagai Representasi Berpikir Kritis terhadap Realitas Sosial Siswa Kelas 9-A SMPN 1 Kedungpring” bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan menulis puisi ditinjau dari struktur pembangun puisi, interpretasi makna, dan bentuk realitas sosial yang ditampilkan berdasarkan tingkat kompleksitas makna. Penelitian ini adalah jenis kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Pengumpulan data diperoleh dari antologi puisi siswa dengan jumlah 32 puisi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dari kemampuan menulis puisi sebagai representasi berpikir kritis terhadap realitas sosial, terdapat 6 puisi dengan kompleksitas makna rendah, 15 puisi tingkat kompleksitas makna sedang, dan 11 puisi pada tingkat kompleksitas makna tinggi.   Kata kunci: representasi, kemampuan menulis puisi, realitas sosial, berpikir kritis

      Abstract: This study discusses speech through critical discourse analysis (CDA) on Sentilan Sentilun Episode "Selangkah Menuju RI 1" in Metro TV with qualitative descriptive analysis method. This study aims to show the form of speech that is communicated, so speech strategies are found that are used to criticize. The critical discourse analysis (CDA) results show that Sentilan Sentilun Episode "Selangkah Menuju RI 1" in Metro TV describes the events to convey the message and display its participants. The speech strategy often used is indirect speech compared to direct speech. That is related to the delivery of conversational implicature in the form of criticism. Thus, it can be said that the participants on Sentilan Sentilun Episode "Selangkah Menuju RI 1" in Metro TV are seen using expressive strategies through what is felt by the speaker to convey the implications of the conversation in the form of criticism.
