  • Effects of Group Counseling Sessions on Perceived Stress Among
           Undergraduate Students During COVID19 Pandemic

      Abstract: This study was aimed to assess the pre-test and post-test effects of group counseling sessions on perceived stress among undergraduate students during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study was inspired by the fact of the impact of COVID-19 pandemic on students' well-being during the pandemic. A true experiment design pretest posttest control group was employed in this study. Through purposive sampling, a total of 30 counseling students from a local university has been selected as representative of the sample population. Perceived-Stress Scale has been measured at pre and posttest.   The results showed there are differences between the pre-test and post-test results after the experiment has been conducted by the researcher. This study provided valuable information about the appropriate intervention that can be used in order to cope with the group counseling session on perceived stress among undergraduate students during the COVID-19 pandemic. Thus, students should be introduced early to the university counselling services so that they can learn about the knowledge and techniques of coping with stress issues

  • Masalah Tugas Perkembangan Mahasiswa dan Implikasinya Terhadap Program BK
           Komprehensif di Perguruan Tinggi

      Abstract: The purpose of this study was to analyze the problems experienced by IAIN Batusangkar students and their responses to BK services at IAIN Batusangkar. This research is a quantitative descriptive study, describing research findings about developmental problems experienced by students of IAIN Batusangkar. The sample was 317 people. The technique of collecting data was using the Student Developmental Task Inventory (ITP), which was analyzed by Developmental Task Analysis (ATP). From the analysis of developmental tasks, it was found that there were 20 problems experienced by students of IAIN Batusangkar which were seen from the lowest level of development of students. So the results of this developmental task can be a guide for LPBK/KM IAIN Batusangkar and for service providers in providing structured services in order to achieve ideal developmental tasks for students through comprehensive BK services including individual counseling services, group counseling/guidance, and classical services.Keywords: Task Development; Responsive service

  • Perilaku Membolos dalam Pembelajaran Daring pada Masa New Normal Pandemi
           Covid-19 bagi Siswa SMA N 12 Pekanbaru

      Abstract: Kasus Covid-19 memberikan dampak bagi dunia pendidikan sehingga dilakukan penutupan sekolah. Menteri Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan RI menerbitkan Surat Edaran Nomor 3 Tahun 2020 pada satuan Pendidikan dan Nomor 36962/MPK.A/HK/2020 tentang Pelaksanaan Pendidikan dalam Masa Darurat Coronavirus Disease (Covid-19) maka kegiatan belajar dilakukan secara daring (online) untuk mencegah penyebaran virus lebih luas lagi. Perubahan pembelajaran dari tatap muka menjadi pembelajaran dari rumah membuat siswa kesulitan dalam belajar, sehingga menyebabkan perilaku membolos pada siswa masih saja terjadi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui  perilaku membolos yang dilakukan siswa di SMAN 12 Pekanbaru selama pembelajaran daring. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan survei dengan sampel sebanyak 122 siswa. Pengumpulan data menggunakan skala perilaku membolos yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya, serta dianalisis dengan teknik persentase. Hasil analisis yang diperoleh perilaku membolos siswa berada pada kategori sangat tinggi pada perilaku masuk kelas online berganti hari. Selanjutnya  perilaku membolos pada kelas X dan kelas XI yaitu tidak mengikuti pembelajaran daring dan pada kelas XII masuk kelas online berganti hari. Sedangkan perilaku membolos paling tinggi terjadi pada siswa perempuan

  • Perencanaan Karir Siswa Kelas Xl Di SMA 1 Negeri Palupuah Kabupaten Agam

      Abstract: Perencanaan karir siswa adalah sebuah bekal bagi siswa untuk mengoptimalkan kemampuan dan potensi diri. Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi karenadi sekolah belum terlaksana proses bimbingan karir kepada siswa karena kurang tersedianya waktu untuk pelaksanaan layanan bimbingan dan konseling khususnya dalam bidang bimbingan karir. Akibatnya baik siswa maupun guru belum mengetahui bagaimana gambaran perencanaan karir siswa.Metode penelitian yang penulis lakukan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis deskriptif kuantitatif. Penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif merupakan penelitian yang dilakukan untuk menggambarkan fenomena-fenomena yang ada di lapangan.Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu seluruh siswa di SMAN 1 Palupuah Kabupaten Agam sebanyak 284 siswa yang diantaranya 150 siswa perempuan dan 134 siswa laki-laki. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling yaitu pengambilan sampel dengan pertimbangan tertentu. Sampel dipilih berdasarkan saran dari guru bimbingan dan konseling yaitu kelas XI IPS 1 dan XI IPA yang berjumlah 55 orang siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan intrumen perencanaan karir dengan mengaplikasikan instrumen RIASEC Test teori John Holland yang peneliti adopsi dari instrumen John Holland kemudian diterjemahkan dan dilakukan uji keterbacaan dengan dosen bahasa Inggiris.Hasil pengolahan instrumen RIASEC Test terlihat di bidang realistik dipilih oleh 23 orang siswa dengan persentase 42%, bidang investigatif sebanyak 34 orang siswa dengan persentase 62%, bidang artistik sebanyak 26 orang siswa dengan persentase 47%, bidang sosial sebanyak 43 orang siswa dengan persentase 73%, bidang wirausaha/bisnis sebanyak 18 orang siswa dengan persentase 33% dan bidang konvensional sebanyak 21 orang siswa dengan persentase 38%. Bidang yang paling banyak dipilih oleh siswa adalah bidang sosial sebanyak 43 siswa dengan persentase 73%. Kesimpulan dari hasil pengolahan instrumen RIASEC test diatas yaitu sebesar 73% di bidang sosial yang di sukai oleh siswa kelas XI IPS dan XI IPA di SMA Negeri 1 Palupuah Kabupaten Agam.

  • Implikasi Layanan Bimbingan Kelompok terhadap Motivasi Belajar Anak Desa
           Bagan Kuala di Masa Pandemi

      Abstract: Sejak tahun 2020 awal, Indonesia mengalami dampak dari virus covid-19 yang berpengaruh pada dunia pendidikan. Hal ini menyebabkan pembelajaran harus dilakukan secara jarak jauh yang dimana setiap individu harus melakukan pembelajaran dari rumah tanpa bisa melakukan pembelajaran secara tatap muka. Dan hal ini memberikan dampak kepada motivasi belajar siswa yang mengalami penurunan yang cukup signifikan. Maka dari itu, perlu diadakannya penelitian untuk dapat ditemukan solusi atas permasalahan ini. Salah satu solusi yang tepat untuk hal ini adalah dengan melaksanakan layanan bimbingan kelompok sehingga kelak masalah yang ada dapat ditemukan jalan keluarnya. Adapun metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Setelah diberikan bimbingan kelompok maka maka dapat dilihat adanya peningkatan motivasi belajar pada anak remaja di desa Bagan Kuala yang berdampak pada semangat mereka dalam belajar pula. Salah satu bukti bahwa mereka sudah memiliki motivasi belajar yang tinggi yaitu dengan perilaku mereka yang sudah menunjukkan rasa antusias dalam membicarakan tentang cita-cita, tentang harapan orang tua dan tentang bagaimana keinginan mereka dalam membanggakan orang tua mereka di masa yang akan datang. Sehingga dapat dipahami bahwa bimbingan kelompok memberikan pengaruh yang baik terhadap peningkatan motivasi belajar saat pandemi.
