The development research used a 4-D model which was tested on students of SMAN 1 Dongko Trenggalek. Sources of data come from related literature studies. The results of quantitative data in the form of validation data, readability data, learning outcomes data, and student response data. Qualitative data in the form of interview data and questionnaire analysis of student needs. Data collection techniques were carried out using questionnaires, tests, and interviews. The plant diversity biology module based on the ethnobotanical knowledge of the people of Trenggalek, Tulungagung, and Ponorogo for class X SMA students was tested to be valid, practical, and effective. Based on the results of expert and user validation tests, 80.09% were interpreted as valid categories, while user validation was 87.50% which were interpreted as very valid categories. The results of the practicality test have an average rating of 93.97% which is interpreted as a very practical category. The results of the effectiveness test have an average N-gain of 52.03 with moderate criteria.

These scientific problems can be overcome if someone has the skills to carry out research. Certainly, research skills are one of the things that a student must have in conducting research. In this case, a teacher at a school needs a project known as the citizen science project to improve their research skills. This study only studied one group by giving treatment, that is 32 students of class X MIPA. The instruments applied were research skill assessment rubrics from student worksheets, student research skill achievement rubrics, student research skill test sheets, observation sheets, and interview guidelines. The research skills of the students at the beginning showed an average of 63.4 with a standard deviation of ±13.3 and the research skills of the students at the end showed an average of 83.8 with a standard deviation of ±9.42. The proportion of students' N-Gain research skill category varies, 6.2% for the low category, 71.9% for the medium category, and 21.9% for the high category. Development of high school biology practicum the course is one of the elective courses that do not have teaching materials that are used specifically by students. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the needs of students for the needs of teaching materials and to find out the material that needs to be in teaching materials. This research is a descriptive study with a sample size of 46 students who were randomly selected. The sample is students who take pengembangan praktikum biologi SMA course. The data collection technique was done by using questionnaires and interviews. The data analysis technique was carried out by using descriptive techniques. The results showed that students needed teaching materials in the form of textbooks in printed form. The research design used in this study was a post-test-only control group design. The population used in this study were all students of class XI in the even semester of SMA Negeri 1 Rawajitu Selatan for the academic year 2020/2021. Determination of the sample in this study using the Simple Random Sampling technique. Data collection techniques in this study used the test method. The instrument of this research is to use critical thinking questions. . Critical thinking questions are a measurement used to find out or obtain data from predetermined sources. This research instrument is a type of subjective test in the form of essay questions. Before being used for research, the questions are first validated and seen for reliability. Test the hypothesis by using the chi-square test using a contingency table. In hypothesis testing, it was found that the POE (Predict-Observe-Explain) learning model had an effect on students' critical thinking skills with a value of = 17.25 and = 9.49 with = 0.05. The purpose of this study is to know the influence of learning the influence of Process Skills Approach and Learning Motivation on student learning activities and outcomes While the hypothesis that the author proposes is "There is a positive influence of learning the influence of Process. This research was conducted on 32 students of grade VII. An SMP ISLAM YPI 3 Way Jepara as a sample, which was determined by Cluster Random Sampling. This research is experimental. This research data is collected using observation methods, questionnaires, documentation, experiments, and test methods. To know about the validity and reliability instrument used the product-moment formula and to test the hypothesis used two-way ANOVA formula with a significant level of 5%. Based on the results of the study, the hypothesis is acceptable because t-count = 3.40 greater than the t-table = 1.70 and 2.46. By linking Islamic values with environmental balance in learning, it is hoped that it can foster a caring attitude for students towards the environment. The purpose of this research was to produce teaching materials in the form of interactive science learning multimedia by integrating Islamic values to foster an environmental care attitude that meets the qualifications from the media aspects, the material aspects, and the learning aspects, as well as to determine the quality of teaching materials in the form of interactive multimedia. This study used a 4-D development model, namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. Based on the results of the analysis, the percentage of validation results was 90% design experts, 91.33% material experts, and 96% experts interpreting the verses of the Al-Qur'an which showed that interactive multimedia products were feasible to be tested on students with very good criteria. There was a very significant difference in the learning outcomes of environmental care attitudes between classes that used interactive multi-media and classes that did not. The development model used as the basis for this research is stated by Trianto (2011: 189) the device development model suggested by Thiagarajan, Semmel, and Semmel in 1974 is a 4-D model, this model consists of 4 development stages, namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. Based on the elaboration that has been explained above, it can be said that the biology learning module (IPA) based on E-learning with Edmodo on the material system of life organization class VII SMP to improve student cognitive learning outcomes need to be considered as a support in the learning process of Natural Sciences. The final result of the design expert test got a percentage value of 82.67%. The final result of the first validator material expert test got a percentage value of 76%. The final result of the linguist test got a percentage value of 92%. The Small Group Trial showed a percentage of 71.06%. So that the product developed is feasible to be used or tested on students. At the level of higher education, the position of students becomes a figure who is expected to become an agent of reform in the future. This study aims to identify the implementation and obstacles faced in learning using a problem-based learning approach in environmental biology courses in the Biology Education Masters Study Program in the Odd Semesters of the 2019/2020 Academic Year. The research was conducted using a survey method. The research subjects are the second-semester students who take environmental biology courses in the Biology Education Masters Study Program totaling 9 people. The research data were analyzed using descriptive methods. The results of the study provide the following conclusions: First, the implementation of Environmental Biology courses for students of the Biology Education Master's Program Postgraduate Program at the University of Muhammadiyah Metro with the application of a problem-based learning approach reached a proportion of 62.97% which was included in the medium category. Second, the main obstacle factors in the application of problem-based learning are, 1) understanding the problem and needs analysis, 2) writing the project title and describing the project location, 3) writing the project title and objectives, and 4) writing attachments, forewords, outer covers. , and conclusions and recommendations. This development research uses the 4D model suggested by Thiagarajan, Semmel, and Semmel (1974). This 4D model has 4 stages, namely 1) define (definition) is carried out to determine the analysis of student needs, 2) design is carried out to design products, 3) develop (development) is carried out to develop teaching material media, 4) disseminate (disseminate). ) is the stage with the use of a wider scale. However, this research was only carried out until the development stage. Applications that have been suitable for use can be accessed via smartphones. The development product analyzed was in the form of a textbook entitled “Pencandraan Tumbuhan Berbasis Prototype Hutan Pembelajaran”. Research and development of teaching materials were conducted using research and development (R and D), adapted from Thiagarajan's 4D model. The stages of the model are Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. Through this research and development, contextual teaching materials were developed as a student guide to describe the morphological characteristics of plants at the learning forest prototype location. In this teaching material, the activities of describing plants are carried out in the Learning Forest Prototype. The steps of student activities describe the plants contained in the teaching materials that were studied and analyzed for feasibility in this research. Furthermore, the research and development products were validated by experts. The result of the validations shows that the teaching materials of plant-based learning forest prototypes for contextual learning are feasible to be applied in biology learning, plants morphology especially. The feasibility can be seen from the average score of the feasibility of teaching materials, which is 92.27%. Based on the result of the research on the feasibility analysis of these teaching materials, the researcher gave suggestions to the lecturers of the plant morphology course that to facilitate students in learning to describe the morphological characters of plants, it could be carried out by utilizing plant-based learning materials for learning forest prototype.Kata kunci: Bahan Ajar, pencandraan tumbuhan, pembelajaran kontekstual, prototype hutan pembelajaran. So far, there has been no research on Physico-chemical conditions and the distribution of macrozoobenthos in Asam Suoh Lake. Based on this, it is necessary to analyze the Physico-chemical conditions and distribution of macrozoobenthos in Asam Suoh Lake. The type of research in this article is descriptive qualitative. The object of research is macrozoobenthos as a biological Indikator. Temperature, depth. Macrozoobenthos in this acid lake does not have high diversity, this is because the pH, temperature, and brightness are not by the proper environment, even though DO, BOD, and COD are by the water quality assessment. Based on the results of the EPT and Biotilik assessment also showed that the lake is also heavily polluted so that it will reduce the diversity of existing macrozoobenthos. The parts of the palm tree that can be used are leaves, stems, fruit, and sap. This research was conducted to analyze the content of triterpenes or saponins in the mature fiber juice of palm fruit (Borassus flabellifer Linn). The method or instrument used is (TLC) and UV-Vis spectrophotometry. Qualitative data analysis was characterized by the formation of foam after the addition of 2N HCl and the formation of a brown ring due to the administration of the Lieberman-Bhurchard solution. The reaction that occurs indicates the sample contains triterpenoid compounds. Analysis of compounds using Thin Layer Chromatography obtained five color spots or stains. Each stain has an Rf value of 0.72 (spot 1), 0.73 (spot 2), 0.75 (spot 3), 0.76 (spot 4) and 0.78 (spot 5). Referring to the Rf value and the yellow color on the TLC plate, it shows that the sample contains triterpenoids. The nature of this compound is easily soluble in water and has antibacterial power. The results of qualitative analysis using UV-Visible spectrophotometry explained that the saponin extract was read at an absorbance of 0.325 with a maximum wavelength of 280 nm. The data show that drug resistance is found in malaria control. For this reason, various efforts are needed to find solutions to overcome these problems. The presence of the flavonoid compound hibiscetin in Kombucha Rosella is thought to act as an immunomodulator that can increase the activity and proliferation of lymphocyte cells during malaria infection. Kombucha Rosella is considered to be a supportive therapy for malaria treatment. The purpose of this study was to obtain a scientific basis for the use of Kombucha Rosella tea as immunotherapy for malaria. The method used is by using An silico docking simulation. The ligand compound used was hibiscetin and the target protein was TCR – MHC II complex. Docking simulation using AutodockTools 1.5.6, Autodock 4.2, and Discovery Studio Visualizer applications. The results showed that the Hibisctin compound had the potential to increase the activity of immunocompetent cells in silico with the value of Free Energy Binding (∆Gbinding) -3.08, the value of the inhibition constant was 5.49 nM, and the RMSD value <5 was 3.32. This type of research is descriptive qualitative in the form of case studies, this is because all aspects of data collection do not go unnoticed and need a detailed and systematic description.
