  • Plantas medicinais como alternativa no tratamento da ansiedade:
           propriedades e potenciais terapêuticos

      Abstract: Este trabalho analisa as propriedades e potenciais terapêuticos das plantas medicinais dos gêneros Passiflora, Camomila e Melissa para o tratamento da ansiedade. A problemática abordada consiste em investigar a eficácia dessas plantas como alternativas naturais no manejo da ansiedade, considerando a crescente demanda por opções terapêuticas menos invasivas. Essa questão é necessária devido à busca por abordagens mais completas e ao interesse em compreender o papel dessas plantas na promoção do bem-estar mental, pois, atualmente, uma porcentagem da população sofre com ansiedade e, por consequência, essa acabou se tornando uma das doenças de maior prevalência, independentemente da idade. O objetivo central deste estudo é explorar as propriedades ansiolíticas de Passiflora, Camomila e Melissa, fundamentando-se em uma revisão bibliográfica abrangente. Os procedimentos empregados incluem a seleção das plantas, métodos de consumo e preparação, além da análise crítica da literatura científica disponível. Essa abordagem será sustentada pela revisão do estado da arte, destacando o potencial terapêutico dessas plantas. A análise demonstra que os gêneros Passiflora, Camomila e Melissa apresentam consistentes propriedades ansiolíticas, influenciando mecanismos neuroquímicos associados à ansiedade, mantendo os indivíduos relaxados e menos tensos. Os resultados desta pesquisa contribuem para a compreensão dessas alternativas naturais para o tratamento da ansiedade, reforçando a importância de investigações mais aprofundadas e de uma abordagem mais integrativa na prática clínica. Abstract This article analyzes the properties and therapeutic potential of medicinal plants from the genera Passionflower, Chamomile, and Melissa in the treatment of anxiety. The problem addressed is to investigate the effectiveness of these plants as natural alternatives in the management of anxiety, considering the growing demand for less invasive therapeutic options. This question is necessary due to the search for more complete approaches and the interest in understanding the role of these plants in promoting mental well-being since currently a percentage of the population suffers from anxiety, and, consequently, it has become one of the most prevalent diseases, regardless of age. The central aim of this study is to explore the anxiolytic properties of Passionflower, Chamomile, and Melissa based on a comprehensive literature review. The procedures employed include the selection of plants, methods of consumption, and preparation, as well as a critical analysis of the available scientific literature. Literature review, that highlights the therapeutic potential of these plants, supports this research. The analysis shows that the genera Passionflower, Chamomile, and Melissa have consistent anxiolytic properties, influencing neurochemical mechanisms associated with anxiety and keeping individuals relaxed and less tense. The results of this research contribute to the understanding of these natural alternatives in the treatment of anxiety, reinforcing the importance of further research and more integrative approaches in clinical practice.       Abstract: A integração do estudante de Ciências Biológicas em atividades experimentais de campo é essencial para a formação do perfil do egresso, seja em cursos presenciais ou a distância. Propostas práticas locorregionais, explorando o entorno domiciliar do estudante, permitem o contato com protocolos científicos e aprofundam o entendimento do seu ambiente imediato. Ao considerarmos que o solo desempenha um papel crucial no equilíbrio dos ecossistemas e na sustentação da vida, sabemos, também, que a crescente pressão antrópica sobre o meio ambiente exige uma postura de conservação e preservação. Este estudo apresenta o desenvolvimento de uma atividade prática da disciplina de Zoologia de Invertebrados, de uma instituição privada de ensino a distância, e é focada no inventariamento da fauna edáfica pelo método Tropical Soil Biology and Fertility. O referido trabalho tem por objetivo, além de conhecer técnicas de coleta e observação de animais, identificar diferentes espécies com o uso de aplicativos e avaliar a diversidade de espécies do ambiente analisado. Abstract The integration of Biological Sciences students in experimental field activities is essential for the formation of the graduate profile, whether in face-to-face or distance learning courses. Locoregional practical proposals, exploring the student's home environment, allow contact with scientific protocols and deepen their understanding of their immediate environment. Given the crucial role of soil in balancing ecosystems and sustaining life, it is clear that the growing anthropogenic pressure on the environment requires a stance of conservation and preservation. This study presents the development of a practical activity in the subject of invertebrate zoology at a private distance learning institution. The focus of the activity is the inventory of edaphic fauna using the Tropical Soil Biology and Fertility method. In addition to learning about animal collection and observation techniques, the aim of this work is to identify different species using mobile apps and to assess the diversity of species within the environment under analysis.   • A utilização de filmes e séries no ensino de ciências nos anos finais
           do ensino fundamental

      Abstract: Este artigo propõe uma análise qualitativa da integração de filmes e séries como ferramentas didáticas no ensino de Ciências para os anos finais do ensino fundamental e da aplicação prática desses recursos audiovisuais, visando enriquecer o processo de aprendizado de maneira dinâmica e envolvente. Com isso, buscou-se destacar a relevância dos filmes “Divertida-Mente”, “WALL-E” e da série “Cells at Work!” como instrumentos eficazes no contexto educacional. “Divertida-Mente” mergulha nas complexidades das emoções humanas, proporcionando uma perspectiva psicológica aplicável ao Sistema Nervoso, especialmente no 6º ano do ensino fundamental. Já “WALL-E” aborda questões de sustentabilidade, tecnologia e impacto ambiental, alinhando-se às habilidades da Base Nacional Comum Curricular e oferecendo reflexões profundas sobre o mundo. Por fim, “Cells at Work!” se destaca como uma série de anime única, transformando as células do corpo humano em personagens animados para educar de maneira lúdica sobre conceitos imunológicos. No âmbito educacional, essas produções são importantes ferramentas para explorar diferentes temas das ciências, com foco nos conhecimentos da biologia, de maneira cativante e significativa. A análise detalhada destaca a relevância científica desses recursos e como podem ser contextualizados em sala de aula para promover um ambiente de aprendizagem dinâmico. Como possibilidades, este artigo buscou fornecer uma visão prática sobre como os filmes e séries podem ser efetivamente utilizados pelos educadores, sugerindo a exploração do potencial emocional e visual desses recursos. Por fim, conclui-se que é possível tornar o processo de ensino mais atrativo e eficaz, promovendo uma experiência educacional enriquecedora e alinhada às demandas contemporâneas. Abstract This article presents a qualitative analysis of the integration of films and series as didactic tools in the teaching of science in the final years of elementary school and the practical application of these audiovisual resources, with the aim of enriching the learning process in a dynamic and engaging way. The aim was to highlight the relevance of the films “Inside Out”, “WALL-E” and the series “Cells at Work!” as effective tools in the educational context. “Inside Out” delves into the complexities of human emotions, providing a psychological perspective applicable to the nervous system, especially in the sixth grade. “WALL-E” addresses issues of sustainability, technology, and environmental impact, in line with the Common National Curriculum skills and offering deep reflections on the world. Finally, “Cells at Work!” stands out as a unique anime series, transforming the cells of the human body into animated characters to educate playfully about immunological concepts. In the educational sphere, these productions are important tools for exploring different science topics, with a focus on biology knowledge, in an engaging and meaningful way. The detailed analysis highlights the scientific relevance of these resources and how they can be contextualized in the classroom to promote a dynamic learning environment. As a possibility, this article sought to provide a practical view of how films and series can used by educators, suggesting the exploitation of the emotional and visual potential of these resources. Finally, it concludes that it is possible to make the teaching process more attractive and effective, promoting an enriching educational experience in line with contemporary demands.   • O ensino da geografia na escola moderna

      Abstract: O artigo tem como objeto de estudo a Escola Moderna de Ferrer y Guardia. A Escola Moderna funcionou em Barcelona nos anos de 1901 a 1902 e 1905 a 1906. O mundo, na virada do século XIX para o XX, passava por grandes transformações impulsionadas pelos ideais das filosofias Iluminista e Positivista. Os países da Europa experimentavam o crescimento da industrialização e da produção em escala e enfrentavam as mazelas sociais inerentes à acumulação do capital. Surgem assim, em contraponto à lógica capitalista, os movimentos socialistas, dos quais Karl Marx é o maior expoente. Porém, a escola filosófica anarquista também merece notoriedade por seus princípios libertários e antiautoritários. Os anarquistas tinham especial interesse na questão educativa, pois entendiam que ela seria a ferramenta e o meio de alcançar seus objetivos revolucionários. A Escola Moderna foi uma das muitas escolas libertárias e anarquistas que surgiram no mundo no início do século XX. Assim este trabalho pretende, com o estudo dos fundamentos filosóficos anarquistas e libertários, compreender a prática da disciplina de geografia na Escola Moderna, oferecendo aos educadores contemporâneos um melhor entendimento sobre práticas educativas mais humanas e libertárias na docência dessa disciplina. A pesquisa tem caráter bibliográfico, foi referenciada em livros, repositórios científicos e sites especializados nesse tema. Aqui pretende-se demonstrar que as práticas da Escola Moderna, relacionadas às aulas de geografia, até hoje são valiosas para educadores comprometidos com valores humanistas. The Modern School operated in Barcelona from 1901 to 1902 and from 1905 to 1906. At the turn of the 19th to the 20th century, the world was undergoing major changes driven by the ideals of the Enlightenment and positivist philosophies. European countries were experiencing the growth of industrialization and large-scale production and were facing the social problems inherent in the accumulation of capital. As a counterpoint to capitalist logic, socialist movements emerged, of which Karl Marx was the greatest exponent. The anarchist philosophical school is also known for its libertarian and anti-authoritarian principles. Anarchists were particularly interested in education, seeing it as a tool and a means to achieve their revolutionary goals. The Modern School was one of many libertarian and anarchist schools that sprang up around the world in the early 20th century. Thus, by studying anarchist and libertarian philosophical foundations, this study aims to understand the practice of geography in the Modern School and to offer contemporary educators a better understanding of more humane and libertarian educational practices in teaching this subject. Books, scholarly repositories, and specialized Websites form the basis of this research, which is bibliographic in nature. The aim is to show that the practices of the modern school in relation to the teaching of geography are still valuable today for educators committed to humanist values.   • Reaproveitamento de água em produção industrial de

      Abstract: Os fluxos de resíduos gerados na indústria farmacêutica podem conter contaminantes, toxinas, nutrientes e compostos orgânicos. Portanto, os compostos farmacêuticos precisam ser removidos das águas residuais para cumprir os padrões de qualidade de descarte. As reduções de custo da água, os requisitos regulatórios e as metas de sustentabilidade exigem soluções ecologicamente corretas e econômicas para reutilizar a água farmacêutica como água bruta. Diante disso, este trabalho tem o objetivo geral de apresentar formas de reaproveitamento de água que visam minimizar as perdas decorrentes da produção industrial de fármacos. A metodologia utilizada foi de revisão da literatura. Os resultados indicam que os efluentes provenientes de diversos setores, incluindo insumos farmacêuticos ativos (API), medicamentos a granel e produtos farmacêuticos relacionados, que demandam grandes volumes de água, foram avaliados por uma variedade estudos. Foram propostas estratégias para a recuperação significativa dos compostos valiosos presentes nesses efluentes, além disso, discute-se o tratamento das águas residuais, que, embora diluídas, podem conter substâncias prejudiciais ao meio ambiente. Conclui-se que nenhuma tecnologia pode remover completamente os produtos farmacêuticos das águas residuais, a adoção de uma abordagem que combine métodos de tratamento convencionais e avançados de pós-tratamento, resultando em uma tecnologia híbrida de tratamento de efluentes, parece ser a opção mais eficaz. Palavras-chave: reuso; água; indústria farmacêutica. Abstract Waste streams generated by the pharmaceutical industry can contain contaminants, toxins, nutrients, and organic compounds. Therefore, pharmaceutical compounds must be removed from wastewater to meet disposal quality standards. Water cost reduction, regulatory requirements and sustainability goals demand environmentally friendly and cost-effective solutions for the reuse of pharmaceutical water as raw water. The overall objective of this work is to present water reuse options to minimize losses resulting from the industrial production of pharmaceuticals. The methodology used was a literature review. The results show that effluents from various sectors, including Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API), bulk drugs and related pharmaceutical products, which require large volumes of water, have been evaluated by a variety of studies. Strategies for significant recovery of the valuable compounds present in these effluents have been proposed, and the treatment of effluents that, although diluted, may contain environmentally hazardous substances is discussed. It is concluded that no single technology can completely remove pharmaceuticals from wastewater, so an approach that combines conventional and advanced post-treatment methods, resulting in a hybrid wastewater treatment technology, appears to be the most effective option. This knowledge is crucial for identifying and supporting students with learning difficulties, requiring adapted educational approaches. This study aims to investigate the relationship between the neurobiology of learning and learning difficulties, with a particular focus on how this knowledge can improve inclusive teaching practices for primary school students in Brazil. The research is justified by the relevance of offering accessible education adapted to individual needs, promoting educational equity, and enhancing students' academic and personal development. To this end, the neurobiological bases of learning were analyzed, the neurobiological differences associated with learning difficulties were investigated, and practical guidelines for educators were provided.       Abstract: O câncer tem sido a segunda causa de morte por doença entre crianças e jovens adultos no Brasil e na região das Américas, com tendência de aumento de casos em território brasileiro, especialmente onde os centros de tratamento são escassos. Essa pesquisa tem como objetivo principal relacionar aspectos de causalidade entre fatores de risco e os casos de neoplasias no município de Limeira, estado de São Paulo. Como metodologia, o estudo fará uma revisão bibliográfica sobre os conhecimentos da Epidemiologia e da Geografia da Saúde, com os quais, a partir da análise do Complexo Patogênico, podem ser identificados padrões na distribuição dos casos e sua relação com a exposição de fatores ambientais. Pretende-se, com os resultados levantados na pesquisa do estado da arte, encontrar evidências sobre o padrão de acometimento dos casos de neoplasias infantojuvenis em Limeira, assegurando um auxílio na tomada de decisão de políticas públicas para prevenção, controle, posteriores tratamentos e reabilitação dos pacientes, garantindo o desenvolvimento de estratégias que visem programas de mitigação entre os fatores de causa e efeito. Abstract Cancer has been the second leading cause of death among children and young adults in Brazil and the Americas, with a tendency for cases to increase in Brazil, especially where treatment centers are scarce. The main objective of this research is to relate aspects of causality between risk factors and cases of cancer in the municipality of Limeira, in the state of São Paulo. As a methodology, the study will conduct a bibliographical review of the knowledge of Epidemiology and Health Geography, with which it is possible to identify patterns in the distribution of cases and their relationship with exposure to environmental factors, based on the analysis of the Pathogenic Complex. The aim is to use the results of the state-of-the-art research to find evidence of the pattern of cases of neoplasms in children and young people in Limeira, to help make decisions on public policies for prevention, control, subsequent treatment and rehabilitation of patients, and to develop strategies for mitigation programs between the cause and effect factors.       Abstract: O presente artigo busca apresentar, por meio de um levantamento histórico e bibliográfico, de maneira exploratória, o desenvolvimento de diferentes localidades do município de Barueri, tendo como foco a desenvolução de suas áreas de centralidades. As localidades em questão se tratam, principalmente, de Alphaville, um bairro planejado, voltado para uma classe média e média alta, construído nos anos 1970 com pretensões de ser um bairro satélite de São Paulo, e o centro do município, construído organicamente ao longo do tempo, junto ao desenvolvimento da cidade. A pesquisa visa perpassar tanto pela discussão de conceitos — como centro e centralidade e a dinâmica dessas modalidades de espaço na cidade — como por elementos históricos que contribuíram para a formação de tais espaços, seu progresso e expansão, revelando como se desenvolveram de forma integrada e diferenciada — integrada ao movimento de metropolização e das influências urbanísticas norte-americanas e, ao mesmo tempo, desigual em suas relações intraurbanas, em um movimento de negação da cidade. Abstract This article seeks to present, through an exploratory historical and bibliographical research, the development of different localities in the municipality of Barueri, focusing on the evolution of their centralized areas. The places in question are mainly Alphaville, a planned neighborhood aimed at the middle and upper middle classes, built in the 1970s with the pretense of being a satellite neighborhood of São Paulo, and the center of the municipality, built organically over time along with the development of the city. The research aims to discuss concepts — such as center and centrality and the dynamics of these types of spaces in the city — as well as historical elements that contributed to the formation of these spaces, their progress and expansion, showing how they developed in an integrated and differentiated way — integrated with the metropolitanization movement and North American urban influences, and, at the same time, unequal in their intra-urban relations, in a movement of negation of the city.       Abstract: Este artigo analisa a imigração italiana e alguns dos aspectos dos contextos históricos de Brasil e Itália, que ocasionaram a chegada de milhares de italianos ao Brasil. Tal problemática consiste em compreender quais seriam esses pontos que influenciaram nesses contextos, fazendo com que a imigração ocorresse. É necessário estudar essa questão porque nós, brasileiros, de modo geral, somos herdeiros de uma enorme diversificação étnica e cultural, nos identificando como um país miscigenado, e os italianos fazem parte dessa construção de nossa identidade individual e coletiva. Acrescente-se a isso o fato de termos no Brasil cerca de 30 milhões de descendentes de italianos que imigraram para cá, a partir do século XIX, e isso os ajudará, também, a conhecerem a sua própria história. Este estudo promove uma fundamentação teórica com o intuito de facilitar o entendimento e compreensão dos brasileiros e ítalo-descendentes sobre a sua própria história, desenvolvendo nos brasileiros, de modo geral, o conhecimento e compreensão de uma das mais importantes fases de nossa história. Para tanto, foi empregada como metodologia e fundamentação teórica a pesquisa bibliográfica, com pesquisa de artigos científicos, textos em revistas e livros relacionados ao assunto. A pesquisa esclareceu quais foram algumas das motivações que corroboraram com o êxodo italiano e sua chegada ao Brasil, mostrando-nos, por exemplo, como a falta da unificação italiana, o excesso populacional e a substituição da mão de obra no Brasil foram decisivos para essa migração acontecer. Abstract This article analyzes Italian immigration and some aspects of the historical contexts of Brazil and Italy that led to the arrival of thousands of Italians in Brazil. The problem is to understand the points that influenced these contexts and led to immigration. It is necessary to study this issue because we Brazilians, in general, are heirs to a great ethnic and cultural diversification that identifies us as a country of mixed races, and the Italians are part of this construction of our individual and collective identity. In addition, Brazil has about 30 million descendants of Italians who immigrated here in the 19th century, and this will also help them to learn about their own history. This study provides a theoretical basis with the aim of making it easier for Brazilians and people of Italian descent to understand their own history, developing knowledge and understanding among Brazilians in general of one of the most important phases of our history. To this end, bibliographical research was used as the methodological and theoretical basis, with research in scientific articles, texts in magazines and books on the subject. The research shed light on some of the motivations behind the Italian exodus and their arrival in Brazil, showing us, for example, how the lack of Italian unification, overpopulation and the replacement of labor in Brazil were decisive for this migration to take place.       Abstract: Resumo O presente estudo teve o objetivo de avaliar as estratégias atuais de prevenção e tratamento da leishmaniose, visceral e tegumentar, propondo recomendações para aprimorar essas abordagens por meio de uma revisão de literatura, buscando reduzir a incidência da doença e mitigar seus impactos na saúde das populações afetadas. Como metodologia, foi realizada uma revisão da literatura nas seguintes bases eletrônicas: PubMed, Scopus e Web of Science. A análise das estratégias de prevenção destacou a importância de abordagens integradas, combinando medidas de controle vetorial, intervenções ambientais e educação da comunidade. A implementação eficaz dessas estratégias pode contribuir significativamente para reduzir a transmissão da leishmaniose e prevenir novos casos da doença. Quanto ao tratamento, a revisão das opções terapêuticas existentes e em desenvolvimento revelou uma variedade de abordagens promissoras, incluindo terapias combinadas, novos agentes terapêuticos e estratégias imunomoduladoras. No entanto, o desenvolvimento e a implementação dessas novas terapias enfrentam desafios significativos, como a necessidade de ensaios clínicos robustos, questões relacionadas à acessibilidade e ao custo dos tratamentos, bem como a resistência aos medicamentos. Por fim, conclui-se que para aprimorar as estratégias de prevenção e tratamento da leishmaniose, é essencial adotar uma abordagem holística e multifacetada. Isso inclui investir em pesquisa contínua para desenvolver novas opções terapêuticas, fortalecer os sistemas de saúde para garantir o acesso aos tratamentos existentes e promover intervenções integradas que abordem não apenas os aspectos biológicos, mas também os determinantes sociais e ambientais da doença. Abstract The objective of this study was to evaluate current strategies for the prevention and treatment of visceral and tegumentary leishmaniasis, with the aim of proposing recommendations for improving these approaches through a literature review. The objective was to reduce the incidence of the disease and mitigate its impact on the health of affected populations. A literature review was carried out using the following electronic databases: PubMed, Scopus and Web of Science. The analysis of prevention strategies revealed the importance of integrated approaches, which combine vector control measures, environmental interventions, and community education. The effective implementation of these strategies can contribute significantly to reducing the transmission of leishmaniasis and preventing new cases of the disease. Regarding treatment, a review of existing and developing therapeutic options revealed a variety of promising approaches, including combination therapies, new therapeutic agents, and immunomodulatory strategies. However, the development and implementation of these new therapies face significant challenges, including the need for robust clinical trials, issues related to the accessibility and cost of treatments, as well as drug resistance. Finally, it can be concluded that to improve leishmaniasis prevention and treatment strategies, it is essential to adopt a holistic and multifaceted approach. This includes the investment of resources in ongoing research to develop new therapeutic options, the strengthening of health systems to ensure access to existing treatments, and the promotion of integrated interventions that address not only the biological aspects of the disease, but also the social and environmental determinants.       Abstract: Este artigo descreve como os tratamentos oncológicos podem resultar em infertilidade adquirida em mulheres com câncer e de que forma essa problemática pode ser contornada por meio de técnicas de preservação da fertilidade feminina, principalmente quando realizadas previamente ao tratamento oncológico. A infertilidade adquirida devido ao tratamento do câncer resulta na dificuldade da paciente em constituir família utilizando gametas próprios, após a cura da doença. Dessa forma, é demonstrada a importância da ampla divulgação e prática efetiva da oncofertilidade. A divulgação e a discussão são importantes para a autonomia da paciente em usar ou não as possibilidades da oncofertilidade. Sendo assim, o objetivo central deste estudo é demonstrar a importância da oncofertilidade em pacientes com câncer, principalmente quando essa doença acomete o sistema reprodutor feminino. Para isso, foi realizada uma revisão integrativa da literatura sobre a temática nas bases de dados PubMed, ScienceDirect, SciElo e Plataforma CAPES, nos idiomas português e inglês, com publicação nos últimos 10 anos (2013 a 2023). Ao final, a pesquisa demonstrou que é de extrema importância que a equipe multidisciplinar presente na oncofertilidade apresente todas as possibilidades à paciente para que ela tenha total ciência e autonomia sobre suas escolhas e possibilidades de constituição familiar futura, se utilizando das práticas prévias aos tratamentos oncológicos para a preservação da fertilidade feminina. Abstract This article describes how cancer treatment can lead to acquired infertility in women with cancer and how this problem can be overcome by female fertility preservation techniques, especially when performed prior to cancer treatment. Acquired infertility as a result of cancer treatment makes it difficult for the patient to start a family using her own gametes after the disease has been cured. This demonstrates the importance of widespread dissemination and the effective practice of oncofertility. Dissemination and discussion are important for the patient's autonomy to use or not use the possibilities of oncofertility. Therefore, the main objective of this study is to demonstrate the importance of oncofertility in cancer patients, especially when the disease affects the female reproductive system. To this end, an integrative review of the literature on the subject was carried out in the databases PubMed, ScienceDirect, SciElo and Plataforma CAPES, in Portuguese and English, with publications in the last 10 years (2013-2023). In conclusion, the research showed that it is extremely important for the multidisciplinary team involved in oncofertility to present all the possibilities to the patient so that she has full knowledge and autonomy over her choices and the possibility of starting a family in the future, using practices prior to cancer treatment to preserve female fertility.       Abstract: O presente artigo tem por finalidade traçar e estudar o perfil dos homens agressores de violência doméstica na cidade de Rio Negrinho-SC, onde a guarnição da rede catarina de proteção à mulher da Polícia Militar atende. Para esse objetivo, foram lidos os boletins de ocorrência realizados pelas vítimas de violência e que conseguiram medidas protetivas de urgência contra os seus agressores no ano de 2022. É possível captar pelos relatos das vítimas nesses boletins as características em comum desses homens violentos, sendo, assim, possível traçar um perfil. Além disso, o presente estudo visa discutir o tema da violência doméstica, tema esse que vem aumentando de interesse e importância para a comunidade científica e para a sociedade no geral, visto que pode acarretar vários problemas sociais, não somente para os envolvidos. Dessa forma, é fundamental entender o porquê desses homens demonstrarem certos comportamentos violentos em determinadas situações e com pessoas de seu convívio doméstico. Para isso, esta pesquisa buscou nos estudos da dominação masculina e no conceito de patriarcado como certos comportamentos são transmitidos de geração em geração. Em relação à dominação masculina, o sociólogo Pierre Bourdieu (1930 - 2002) demonstrou que é por meio de comportamentos aprendidos e aceitos socialmente que a violência acontece e se perpetua. Já a historiadora Gerda Lerner (1920 - 2013) apresenta os estudos sobre o patriarcado, conceito importante para os estudos da dominação dos homens e sobre como esse sistema social surgiu e está presente até os dias atuais. Abstract The purpose of this article is to outline and study the profile of male perpetrators of domestic violence in the city of Rio Negrinho, Santa Catarina, Brazil, where the garrison of the Catarina Military Police Women's Protection Network serves. To this end, we read the police reports filed by victims of violence who obtained emergency protective measures against their aggressors in 2022. In these reports, it is possible to identify common characteristics of these violent men based on the victims' accounts, which allows for their profiling. Additionally, this study aims to discuss the issue of domestic violence, a topic that has gained increasing interest and importance for the scientific community and society in general, as it can lead to various social problems, not just for those involved. Therefore, it is essential to understand why these men display certain violent behaviors in certain situations and towards people in their household. To this end, the study examined the concept of male domination and the phenomenon of patriarchy, with the intention of identifying how certain behaviors are transmitted from one generation to the next. In relation to male domination, sociologist Pierre Bourdieu (1930-2002) demonstrated that violence occurs and is perpetuated through learned and socially accepted behaviors. Historian Gerda Lerner (1920-2013) presents her studies on patriarchy, an important concept in the study of male domination and how this social system came about and is still present today.       Abstract: Este ensaio visa refletir sobre os acontecimentos de maior proeminência que ocorreram na Educação brasileira durante os quatro anos de governo do presidente Jair Messias Bolsonaro. De abordagem qualitativa, tentaremos compreender e interpretar os discursos que mais tomaram notoriedade no cenário político-social a partir da análise do filósofo Michel Foucault e do desenvolvimento do conceito de biopoder. Palavras-chave: educação; política; democracia; bolsonarismo. Abstract This essay aims to reflect on the most prominent events that have occurred in Brazilian education during the four years of President Jair Bolsonaro's administration. Using a qualitative approach, we will attempt to understand and interpret the speeches that have become most notorious in the political-social scenario, based on the analysis of the philosopher Michel Foucault and the development of the concept of biopower.
