  • Developing a Digital Learning Community

      Abstract: Norwegian universities cancelled all campus activity as a response to a nationwide increase in Covid-19 cases. Lectures were moved to online platforms. The pandemic regulations forced us to redesign our teaching for a group of adult learners at the vocational lecturer education. Moving away from traditional lectures and discussion seminars, we designed new collaborative ‘work packages’ accompanied with various practical tasks. Our analysis is based on our teaching material, written student feedback and in-depth interviews. A combination of asynchronous teaching, collaborative groups and online meetings with supervisors created a confidence-building learning community and a safe learning environment. The study shows how students mastered the situation during a national lockdown and took responsibility for their own progress in the course. In the discussion, we highlight how an active two-way communication can foster an online learning community that has a positive impact on students’ learning experiences, and how our strategies led to student empowerment.

  • Nærvær på afstand

      Abstract: Artiklen beskriver en kvalitativ undersøgelse af brugen af asynkron, tekstindlejret, mundtlig vejledning og feedback på en bachelor- og kandidatuddannelse på et dansk universitet. Vi har undersøgt, hvordan det pædagogiske og mellemmenneskelige nærvær i den faglige vejledning og feedback kan bevares og styrkes selv under ændrede fysiske og digitale vilkår. Vi sætter særligt fokus på betydningen af ”stemme” som et element af digitalt understøttet vejledning og feedback, og vi undersøger dermed, hvordan kropslighed og personligt nærvær digitalt kan indlejres i asynkrone vejledningsforløb. Vi ønsker at supplere forskningen i multimodalitet i vejledning og kommunikation ved at undersøge, om færre modaliteter (i dette tilfælde tekst og lyd kombineret) samt det at udelade videodimensionen fra vejledningen kan give en skærpet oplevelse af vejleders og studerendes personlige og faglige stemmer, som kan danne grundlag for en anderledes konstruktiv form for lytning og opmærksomhed.

  • Vejledningens transformative potentiale i et overgangsperspektiv

      Abstract: Denne artikel præsenterer baggrund, fund og resultater fra to casestudier af vejledning i skriveprocesser i et overgangsperspektiv. Overgange mellem uddannelsesniveauer kan være kritiske for elever og studerende, og i vejledningsforskningen har overgangen mellem gymnasium og universitet været underbelyst. Artiklen giver et indblik i elevers erfaringer med vejledning af skriveprocesser fra gymnasiet og undersøger, hvordan disse erfaringer aktualiseres i overgangen til universitetet. Undersøgelsen skriver sig ind i et forskningsfelt om vejledning, feedback og skrivedidaktik. Deweys erfaringsbegreb og Mezirows kommunikative læringsforståelse bruges til at identificere, hvordan vejledning bidrager til skrive(r)udvikling. På baggrund af dette diskuterer vi, hvad vi kan lære af de vejledningserfaringer, som eleverne kommer med fra gymnasiet, og vi giver et bud på, hvordan man i vejledning på universitetet kan adressere nogle af de udfordringer, der knytter sig til det institutionelle rammeskifte. Artiklen er derfor både særdeles relevant af interesse for forskere med interesse for vejledning i et overgangsperspektiv og for vejledere, der gerne vil kvalificere deres praksis med vejledning af skriveprocesser.

  • "Det er lidt snyd, er det ik'" En kvalitativ undersøgelse af
           specialevejledning som forskningspraktik

      Abstract: I denne artikel undersøger vi muligheder og begrænsninger ved en konkret vejledningsmodel, som en specialevejleder har udviklet, hvori studerende tilbydes partnerskab i form af tæt samarbejde og medforfatterskab på en artikel. Vi tager afsæt i litteraturen om "studerende som partnere" og placerer modellen teoretisk inden for denne litteratur som en radikal og elitær udgave af forskningssamarbejde med studerende. Datagrundlaget er longitudinale fokusgruppe-interviews og individuelle interviews med fire specialestuderende. Analysen viser, at de studerende oplever muligheder for et stort læringsudbytte, intens sparring og større jobafklaring. Samtidig viser analysen, at modellen er ressourcekrævende og appellerer til særligt ambitiøse studerende og vejledere. Artiklen bidrager med nye fund om de indre spændinger mellem styring og selvstændighed, der kan opstå i vejledningen, når vejlederen har flere roller, nemlig rollen som både vejleder, bedømmer og projektleder. Artiklen afsluttes med en række råd til, hvad man bør være opmærksom på i implementeringen af denne type vejledning.

  • DUT Guide om løbende bedømmelse

      Abstract: Løbende bedømmelse er en relativt ny eksamensform i Danmark, som giver mulighed for at supplere en afsluttende eksamen med bedømmelsesaktiviteter i løbet af undervisningsperioden, som tæller med i den studerendes samlede karakter. Løbende bedømmelse kan derfor blive en måde, hvorpå eksamen knyttes bedre til undervisningen og giver de studerende mere retvisende eksamenskarakterer. Med fokus på bedre uddannelse og undervisning på de videregående uddannelser vil det formentlig blive en mere udbredt eksamensform med tiden. I guiden her præsenteres praksisnære råd til undervisere og undervisningsudviklere om løbende bedømmelse baseret på forskning, danske og internationale erfaringer samt den hidtidige implementering af eksamensformen på danske videregående uddannelser.

      Abstract: The aim of this guide is to provide tips for supervisors on how to support students as active, independent and prepared participants who drive their own projects forward. It relates to supervision of projects at bachelor-, master- and PhD level. The underlying basis of the guide is twofold: 1) supervision is an increasingly complex activity that involves a demanding set of competences; 2) a good supervisor is a flexible supervisor who can adapt to different situations, student needs and levels of the curriculum.
