  • Strategi Konfrontatif Rusia Melalui Kebijakan Operasi Militer Khusus ke
           Ukraina

    • Authors: Hafid Adim Pradana, Ubaidah Adielah
Abstract: The Russian-Ukrainian invasion was motivated by Russia's anxiety about Ukraine's opposition to Russia. Ukraine's pro-Western government makes Russia anxious about its threatened position. As a result, Russia sent its military to the Ukrainian border with the aim of demilitarizing Ukraine. As a fellow former member of the Soviet Union, Russia is trying to restore Ukraine's ideology of the past by tending to be pro-Eastern. The Russian-Ukrainian actions cannot be justified because they cost lives and human rights violations that violate international law. Russia is aware of the consequences that will be obtained as a result of its policies. This did not dampen Russia's intention to regard it as an attempt to defend the Eastern bloc from the expansion of Western influence which has the potential to threaten stability between the blocs. So it is feared that the Western bloc will become the center of world power and the global system will be damaged, and the world system that is no longer anarchy will turn into a hierarchy.

  • Penerapan E-Parlemen di Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Republik Indonesia

    • Authors: Sylvia Febrina, Lisman Manurung
      Pages: 169 - 182
Abstract: This study aims to explain the implementation of e-parliament through the website of Indonesia Parliament. In order to enhance the role of parliament and democratic values, modern legislatures around the world are making use of technology to bridge the enormous gap between parliamentarians and the public. Electronic parliamentary services or e-parliament are proclaimed as a concept of digital transformation and are expected to have a significant impact on three main things, namely administrative efficiency, improved access, and dissemination of information and interaction with the public. By using a mixed research method of content analysis and case studies in looking at two aspects of e-parliament which include information disclosure and participation, this study resulted in the finding that the implementation of e-parliament on the parliament's website is mostly still at the stage of providing information. Given that the parliament's website does not yet provide a simple tool for interactive communication between parliament and citizens in an effective way.

  • Pragmatisme Politik Nahdlatul Ulama Pada Masa Pemerintahan Presiden Joko
           Widodo

    • Authors: Aji Sakti Hidayatullah, Ahmad Chumeidi, Yusuf Fadli, Adie Dwiyanto Nurlukman
      Pages: 197 - 206
Abstract: This study aims to explain the political pragmatism of Nahdlatul Ulama in Joko Widodo administration. As a socio-religious organization with a strong mass base, it can accompany NU's political fluctuations, both internally and externally. Many consider the political actions of Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) to be pragmatic. In a sense, NU's political actions were motivated by the motivation to gain status and power because they were very pro-government in the past and in recent years, especially during the reign of President Jokowi. To answer this problem, Ekowati's theory of political pragmatism is used which is then supported by James S. Coleman's rational choice theory. The data were collected through the literature contained in books, journals and other online sources that are representative and relevant and analyzed qualitatively using a literature approach. This study concludes that in theory it is true that NU has taken pragmatic steps in politics. However, on the other hand, NU does all of this in accordance with the existing Qoidah Fiqh, and indeed NU's politics has never really departed from the foundations contained in Fiqh.

  • Peran UNICEF Indonesia Menangani Perundungan di Sekolah Melalui Program
           Roots

    • Authors: Elsye Yubilia Keysinaya, Nuraeni
      Pages: 207 - 224
Abstract: This paper aims to understand the role of UNICEF Indonesia as an intergovernmental organization to solve the problem of school bullying in 2016–2020 through the Roots Program. The occurrence of school bullying in children and adolescents is an increasingly worrying phenomenon. Bullying is often being overlooked, it has a profound impact on physical and mental health, and reduces student academic performance. Addressing the problem of bullying requires efforts from various parties, including through the collaboration between the Government of Indonesia and UNICEF. This research used Ian Hurd's perspective as theoretical framework to understand the role of UNICEF Indonesia as an actor, forum, and resources through descriptive qualitative research method. Study literatures and interviews are used as data collection techniques. The results of this study found that through the Roots Program, UNICEF Indonesia tends to carry out its role as an actor.

  • Kajian Geoekonomi Kerja Sama Alih Teknologi Sektor Pelabuhan Antara
           Indonesia dan Singapura

    • Authors: Muhammad Naufal Musri
      Pages: 253 - 261
Abstract: This research describes the geoeconomic partnership built between Indonesia and Singapore. The discussion focuses on Indonesia and Singapore’s cooperation in the field of port development sector and technology transfer. In preparing this paper, the author employed a descriptive analytic research method to explore this issue. Data were gathered from a variety of literatures from different research sources, including publications and agreement documents from official, books, and scientific articles connected to the current cooperation. The cooperation between Indonesia and Singapore, which is highlighted in this publication, should focus more on the port industry, which is one of the key areas for boosting the economies of the two nations. According to an economic analysis of the port technology transfer issue, collaboration between Singapore and Indonesia is undoubtedly quite likely. It should be noted, however, that Singapore's position of managing technology independently as a necessity for sovereignty serves as a caution to Indonesia to always have a backup plan with other parties.

  • Intervensi Politik dan Militer Rusia Terhadap Ukraina Sebagai Wujud
           Penerapan Strategi Deterens

    • Authors: Moh. Talabul Amal, Ali Muhammad, Takdir Ali Mukti
      Pages: 262 - 273
Abstract: This study aims to determine the background of Russia's intervention in Ukraine through the approach of the concept of deterrence. To reveal this, this study uses a qualitative-explanatory method aimed at presenting a depth of analysis with the context of testing the hypothesis and the relevance of two variables. The results of the study reveal that the background of Russia's intervention in Ukraine is to respond to threats from the expansion of NATO's membership wing in Eastern Europe, especially Ukraine. In addition, Russia is also driven by the existence of Russian national interests in the territory of Ukraine and the Crimean Peninsula to secure its influence in Ukraine and reject the influence of the United States in Eastern Europe. Russia's intervention in Ukraine is seen as an effort to prevent Ukraine from joining the European Union. Russia is considered not to respect Ukraine's sovereignty over the act of annexing the Crimean peninsula in 2014 and the military invasion of Ukraine in 2022. The limitation of this research is that the data used is still limited to the type of secondary data, namely journals containing data on Russia's intervention against Ukraine.
