Authors: Armando Rodríguez Batista Pages: 1 - 17 Abstract: The beginning of Science and Technology-Based Innovation (STI) policies in Cuba should be traced to 1961, with the so-called Literacy Campaign that declared the Nation as the First Latin-American Country Free from Illiteracy. From this moment to our days, Cuba has developed a significant Research and Development (R&D) infrastructure and committed human resources on Science, Technology and Innovation. This paper explores the links among Cuban Science, Technology and Innovation System and National Education System for the achievement of scientific technical achievements, within the context of the actualization of Cuban Model for Economic and Social Development. Also, It takes into consideration the role of education and training within a learning economy and Mode 1 to Mode 2 knowledge production process transition. A comprehensive approach to national, sectorial and local innovation systems actors and interactions with education and training experiences is discussed, as well as general reflections regarding Innovation and Education within the National Economic and Social 2030 Plan, which may contribute to a better understanding of the role of education within the Cuban National System of Technology and Innovation. Para lograrlo se realizó un análisis documental. Los resultados aluden a la consolidación creativa e innovadora de la educación a través de la gestión escolar, por lo que ésta, deberá apoyarse en aspectos como pensamiento complejo, procesos de innovación, tecnologías de la información y la comunicación y estrategias o métodos de gestión del conocimiento que aseguren que el saber interno y externo sea compartido para que pueda ser transmitido y asimilado. La clasificación de estrategias se basa en los niveles organizacional y pedagógico-didáctico de la gestión escolar, y ocho procesos del conocimiento divididos en exploración y explotación. Finalmente, se sugieren futuros análisis de prácticas y estrategias implementadas en IES, y con los resultados, se planteen estrategias organizacionales. English abstract This research proposes a classification of Knowledge Management Strategies in order to enhance educational innovation in Higher Education Institutions. To achieve this a documentary analysis was used. The results allude to the creative and innovative consolidation of education through school management, so this should be supported by aspects such as complex thinking, innovation processes, information and communication technologies and strategies or methods of management of the knowledge that ensures that internal and external knowledge is shared so that it can be transmitted and assimilated. The classification of strategies is based on the organizational and pedagogical-didactic levels of school management, and eight knowledge processes divided into exploration and exploitation. Authors: María de los Angeles Ruiz González, Yaima Jiménez Guerra Pages: 36 - 51 Abstract: En el artículo se estudia la repercusión de las tecnologías de información y comunicaciones en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje como paradigma de modelo educativo. Se analiza el impacto de éstas en los sistemas educativos universitarios ante los efectos de la COVID 19. Se presenta un estudio de caso basado en la experiencia práctica del uso de plataformas virtuales de enseñanza-aprendizaje para pregrado y posgrado en la Facultad de Economía de la Universidad de la Habana, a partir de la aplicación de encuestas dirigidas a estudiantes y docentes. Los resultados evidencian que la virtualización de la enseñanza constituye un reto y a vez una oportunidad, se reconoce que es tipo de modelo requiere mayor trabajo metodológico vinculado con el uso y manejo de las tecnologías digitales, a pesar de los avances demostrados se requiere fortalecer las estrategias pedagógicas-metodológicas que propicien en los docentes el empleo de más recursos disponibles en las plataformas de enseñanza aprendizaje. English abstract The article studies the impact of information and communication technologies in the teaching-learning process as a paradigm of an educational model. The impact of these on university education systems in the face of the effects of COVID 19 is analyzed. A case study is presented based on the practical experience of the use of virtual teaching-learning platforms for undergraduate and graduate students at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Havana, from the application of surveys directed to students and teachers. The results show that the virtualization of teaching constitutes a challenge and an opportunity, it is recognized that this type of model requires more methodological work related to the use and management of digital technologies, despite the demonstrated advances, it is necessary to strengthen the strategies pedagogical-methodological that encourage teachers to use more resources available in the teaching-learning platform. En el mundo la mayoría de los mismos son promovidos por universidades, donde tanto lo académico como lo investigativo es primordial. El presente trabajo supone la realización de un análisis de las principales definiciones, terminologías y modelos de parques que existen, así como analizar diferentes experiencias en el desarrollo de parques científicos y/o tecnológicos a nivel internacional, e identificar los principales elementos a tener en cuenta por Cuba en el futuro para desarrollar un parque científico y/o tecnológico en la Universidad de La Habana. English abstract Science and Technology (S&T) Parks are currently one of the main locations where the scientific and technology development exists and are promoted. In the world, most of these are promoted by universities, where both academic and research aspects are paramount. This article involves carrying out an analysis of: (i) the main definitions, terminologies and models of parks that exist; (ii) different experiences in the development of a S&T Parks at the international level; (iii) and identify the main elements to be taken into account by Cuba in the future to develop a S&T Park at the University of Havana. Authors: Oscar Licandro, Stefanía Yapor, Patricia Correa Pages: 62 - 77 Abstract: La identificación de los factores personales y contextuales que determinan la satisfacción de los voluntarios constituye un insumo crítico de información para la toma de decisiones en la gestión del Voluntariado Corporativo. Se presentan aquí los resultados de una investigación que tuvo como objetivo estudiar la influencia de esos factores sobre la satisfacción de los voluntarios corporativos. Se aplicó un cuestionario auto-administrado a los voluntarios de una muestra no probabilística de empresas que en Uruguay aplican el Voluntariado Corporativo en forma sistemática. La investigación reveló que la satisfacción en este tipo de voluntariado se asocia con el género, con la tenencia de hijos, la adhesión a una religión, practicar voluntariado personal fuera de la empresa, la posición en la empresa y la antigüedad en ella. Se encontró también la existencia de correlación entre la satisfacción y el tipo de tareas que realizan los voluntarios, así como con las causas sociales donde se canaliza su participación. Se concluye que la satisfacción de los voluntarios corporativos depende de un mix de factores personales y contextuales que cada empresa necesita identificar a los efectos de fortalecer el reclutamiento y permanencia de los voluntarios. English abstract The identification of the personal and contextual factors that determine the satisfaction of the volunteers, constitute a critical input of information for the decision-making in the management of the Corporate Volunteering. The results of an investigation that aimed to study the influence of these factors on the satisfaction of corporate volunteers are presented here. A self-administered questionnaire was applied to the volunteers of a non-probabilistic sample of companies that systematically apply the Corporate Volunteering in Uruguay. The research revealed that satisfaction in this type of volunteering is associated with gender, having children, adherence to a religion, practicing personal volunteering outside the company, position in the company and the seniority in it. The existence of a correlation between satisfaction and the type of tasks performed by the volunteers was also found, as well as with the social causes where their participation is channeled. It is concluded that the satisfaction of corporate volunteers depends on a mix of personal and contextual factors that each company needs to identify in order to strengthen the recruitment and permanence of volunteers. Esta mejora se origina mediante el diseño de la propuesta metodológica de la encuesta nacional de innovación para el sector agroalimentario con indicadores específicos, a partir de los resultados de la Tercera Encuesta Nacional de Innovación que contribuyeron al sector agroalimentario. Con esta propuesta, se dispondrá de un conjunto de indicadores para la medición de las capacidades de innovación en el sector agroalimentario; como alternativa para promover el encadenamiento productivo, la toma de decisiones y la elaboración de nuevas políticas públicas. Esta propuesta es coherente con el proceso de transformación del Sistema de ciencia, tecnología e innovación, refrendado en los documentos rectores del Estado y del Gobierno, constituyendo un aporte al modelo de desarrollo económico social del país. English abstract This article proposes to enrich and expand the scope of the indicators on innovation, linked to the development of the agri-food system and the Plan for Food Sovereignty and Nutritional Education until 2030. This improvement originates from the design of the methodological proposal of the national innovation survey for the agri-food sector with specific indicators, based on the results of the Third National Innovation Survey that contributed to the agri-food sector. With this methodological proposal, a set of indicators will be available for measuring innovation capabilities in the agri-food sector; as an alternative to promote the productive chain, decision-making and the elaboration of new public policies. This proposal is consistent with the transformation process of the Science, Technology and Innovation System, endorsed in the governing documents of the State and the Government, constituting a contribution to the social economic development model of the country.
