Authors:Farzaneh Darroudi, Ali Ala, Mahdi Yousefi Nejad Attari Pages: 261 - 285 Abstract: Current study presents in-depth analyses of five distinct risk dimensions in relation to age, gender, country of origin and entrepreneur in family. A unique aspect of this study was repeated analyses for the same hypotheses, using data from three independent rounds of data collection. This design allowed to identify inconsistencies in in any data trends. Individuals who had an active enterprise had significantly higher scores for risk-taking propensity and profit-contingent risks, than aspiring and non-entrepreneur groups, across all these rounds of data collection. On the other hand, entrepreneurs did not have significantly different scores for risk aversion than the other two groups. A series of linear regression analyses indicated that younger males, from a developing country, and who had an entrepreneur in family, had significantly higher risk-taking propensities. Inconsistencies in results for risk-enjoyment and creative risk dimensions may be better understood through a qualitative, longitudinal research. Authors:Mohammad Osman Gani, Yoshi Takahashi, Anisur R. Faroque, Sina Mortazavi, Mohammad Zahedul Alam Pages: 286 - 310 Abstract: Although virtual trade shows (VTSs) are a major concern for marketers and researchers, conceptual development is lacking. This paper critically reviews the studies on VTSs to identify gaps in the research and to propose avenues for future research. Several databases were utilised to extract the scholarly papers used in this study. This paper highlights the findings from prior studies with a comparison and contrast of salient features of the findings to provide directions for future research. Specifically, this study demonstrates a compendium of empirical research on antecedents and consequences of VTSs. It was found that there are several under-explored areas in the prior research and there is a great potential for theoretical development in this field. Bringing together required inquiries and related theories of VTS, this study contributes to the literature. Finally, the study focuses on the limitations, implications, and future avenues for VTS research. Authors:Ria Tristya Amalia, Harald F.O. Von Korflesch Pages: 311 - 349 Abstract: Entrepreneurial education started in the USA and has expanded around the world. There are many distinctions between European and American higher education in this area. Since researchers have not received much attention, there is a need to reflect on 'entrepreneurial learning styles, ' 'what' and 'how' to teach entrepreneurship. This study used a systematic literature review on these themes between 2009 and 2018. NVivo software was used in six phases and produced 84 articles. Entrepreneurship education varies depending on whether the program's objectives are 'about', 'for', or 'through' entrepreneurship. Education 'about' entrepreneurship is theoretical. The other two types are practical. The 'for' type is prevalent in curriculum content and teaching methods, especially in Europe. This study has identified greater acknowledgement and research of pedagogical concepts for entrepreneurship in European and American higher education. It also suggests a need to shift from the traditional 'teacher-centred' approach to the more contemporary 'learner-centred' approach. Authors:Ria Tristya Amalia, Harald F.O. Von Korflesch Pages: 350 - 372 Abstract: With the advancements in communication and information technologies, the internet of drones (IoD) has become reality. The IoD is gaining rapid popularity and has several applications including drone-based rescue and delivery operations. The drones can communicate with each other and can reach inaccessible or hard access locations like mountain peaks, gulches, riversides, and high-rise fire locations. Drones can boost the business through cheap delivery of goods at destinations in less time as compared to traditional delivery ways. However, without ensuring security, drones can be used for wicked intentions and can affect business growth. Therefore, we intend to design a secure access control scheme for IoD using symmetric-key primitives. The proposed method is more secure and completes the access control process more efficiently with low computation and communication costs and can be used for the collection and delivery of goods more efficiently.
