Obedience, and Involvement in Muhammadiyah Organizations

    • Authors: Imam Safi'i, Wini Tarmini
      Pages: 1 - 11
Abstract: This study aims to describe the responses of alumni of the Indonesian Language Education Study Program regarding the impact of fostering Al Islam and Kemuhammadiyahan on integrity, religious observance, and the commitment of graduates to be actively involved in the Muhammadiyah organization. The method used in this research is the survey method. Respondents in this study were alumni of the 2020/2021 Indonesian Language Education Study Program. The number of alumni who were successfully traced was 76. The study results showed that 69.74% of alumni thought that Islamic and Muhammadiyah-style coaching greatly impacted building integrity. As many as 75% of alumni believe that the guidance of Al Islam and Kemuhammadiyahan has an influence on religious observance. The high impact of fostering Al Islam and Kemuhammadiyahan on the integrity and observance of the worship of the alumni has not been directly proportional to the interest in the involvement of alumni in the Muhammadiyah organization. As many as 51.32% of alumni have not been involved in the Muhammadiyah organization.

  • The Essence of Mahabah from the Perspective of Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jailani:
A Study of The Tafsir of Al-Jilani

    • Authors: Najiburrohman Najiburrohman, Siti Mariatin
      Pages: 12 - 29
Abstract: Islam is a religion that guides people in life to always be guided. Islam also recognizes one of the natures of the human heart in the form of love. Discussions about love (mahabah) have been studied a lot, but not all of them focus on mahabbatullah. The themes discussed are an explanation of love towards fellow beings, such as spouse, family, property, and place of residence. Believers nowadays have a greater level of love for others than Allah and prefer worldly happiness to attain the love of Allah. In Tafsir Al-Jailani, written by Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jailani, the essence of love belongs only to and for Allah swt. This tafsir, it complements the explanation of mahabah written by other Sheikh Abdul Qadir, although the discussion in Tafsir Al-Jailani is less long and extensive. The characteristic of Tafsir Al-Jilani has a Sufi pattern and uses the ijmali method. In the sense of an interpretation, it cannot be separated from its scientific background, as well as Sheikh Abdul Qadir al-Jailani, in his interpretation, must have been influenced by Sufi thought. The method used in this research is descriptive analysis by systematically, factually, and accurately describing the phenomenon under study. The results of this research show that true love is love that flows to the owner of a majesty, namely Allah swt. Love for anything will be false if it is not aimed at Him. When the sense of compassion flows in every human being, it will give rise to behaviors that are inclined towards obedience in everyday life.

           Qur'an)

    • Authors: Murjazin Murjazin, Abid Nurhuda, Linna Susanti, Yasin Syafii Azami
      Pages: 30 - 44
Abstract: The Al-Qur'an is the official guideline and is an interesting material for Muslims to study because it is comprehensive about all aspects of life. This is proven, one of which is with several verses that explore the nature of human creation to the deviations it commits. So guidance, coaching, education, and healing are needed both from the psychological and physiological aspects. So the purpose of this study is to describe the Psychological and Physiological Motives in Humans (Studies on the Verses of the Qur'an). The method used is literature in the process of collecting data, then careful analysis is carried out, and finally, descriptive conclusions are drawn. The results of the study show that the physiological motives in the Qur'an are divided into two parts, namely the motive for being oneself and the motive for preserving offspring. While the psychological motives are divided into four parts, namely ownership motives, competition motives, hostility motives, and religious motives. These two things show how the Qur'an pays great attention to various kinds of matters including the different human souls and physiques so that it not only exhibits various kinds of heavenly pleasures and the pain of the torments of hell but also provides insight for humans regarding this matter things that are useful for their daily life.

Abstract: Islam is a religion that accepts all forms of technological progress, including advances in artificial intelligence. • Implementation of The Concept of 'Urf and Maslahah in Buying and Selling
Gold With Non-Cash Payment (Comparative Study of Fatwa DSN-MUI and Fatwa
           Al-Lajnah Ad Dāimah Li Al-Buhūṡ Al-‘Ilmiyyah Wa Al-Iftā’ Saudi
           Arabia)

    • Authors: Wildan Jauhari, Abd Wahab Abd Muhaimin, Muhammad Dawud Arif Khan
      Pages: 54 - 65
Abstract: The background of writing this research is to respond to differences in fatwas that occurred in two major fatwa institutions, namely the National Sharia Council of the Indonesian Ulema Council and Al-Lajnah Ad-Dāimah Li Al-Buhūṡ Al-'Ilmiyyah Wa Al-Iftā' State of Saudi Arabia; in the law of buying and selling gold in cash. This difference in fatwas confused the public and required descriptions and explanations regarding the methodology used by the two fatwa institutions. In this study, the authors used a qualitative method as a case study with a normative juridical approach. The results of this study are that the National Sharia Council of the Indonesian Ulema Council allows buying and selling gold in cash, either through ordinary buying and selling or buying and selling murabaha, as long as gold does not become the official medium of exchange (money). As for the fatwa of Al-Lajnah Ad-Dāimah Li Al-Buhūṡ Al-'Ilmiyyah Wa Al-Iftā' number 3211, it states that delaying the payment of gold is not permitted if it is exchanged for gold, silver, or equivalent (money).
