  • HVAC Design by Using Green Building Norms

    • Free pre-print version: Loading...

      Authors: Shadab Khan
      Pages: 1 - 10
Abstract: An HVAC system can be describing as a system which removes the heat from a desired space by pumping the heat from one place to another which result a cooling effect, also by lowering the temperature. HVAC work for a good indoor air quality by using latest filtering technologies. The major components of the HVAC system are, Heat exchanger, Evaporator coil, Thermostat, Refrigerant lines, Condensing unit, drain piping system, electrical conduits, vents, ductwork, CRC controller (Centralized remote control) these are the basic components used in HVAC system. The basement of building has different types of ventilation system such as duct and ductless ventilation. In ductless ventilation we use axial jet fans and tube axial fan for air vent at basement. The Design Engineer have to consider factors such as the application, requirements of space, amount of space available, the heat addition sources such as sunrays from windows and the total cost of the system. HVAC systems are classified as Air-Cooled Chiller System, Water-Cooled Chiller System, VRV System, and DX System. Humidity is controlled by adding or removing the moisture to the air. Humidifier is a device which is used to control the humidity of a space. For good indoor air quality, we use HEPA and MERV filters for air filtration. VRV system have some limitations that it cannot exceed the allowable height given by the manufacturer. But in chilled water system we can run the piping without any limitation of height. Chilled water system flow water throughout the building. In basement vent we get the proper position of jet fans by CFD interpretation.

      Authors: Khushbu Yadav, Brijesh vishwakarma
      Pages: 8 - 13
Abstract: The Coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic is a global health crisis that is already having devastating impacts on the world’s economy. The challenges and vulnerabilities related to food security in these countries are further exacerbated by the current coronavirus (COVID-19) global pandemic. As a quick response strategy to reduce the spread of the coronavirus, countries have imposed various types of movement restrictions, both locally and globally, which have therefore been affected. Agricultural production, food availability and access. These impacts are also being felt by food and agriculture sector. How detrimental these effects are to food security and the livelihoods of farmers, fishermen, and others working along the food supply chain. The main purpose of current study was to access the impact of COVID-19 on food, agriculture and starvation in lockdown. Major strategies include ensuring continued availability and access to food during and after a pandemic/crisis (i) setting up a communitybased food network, (ii) collection and maintenance of food and agriculture data, (iii) controlling food prices. To stabilize, (iv) infrastructure development for food security, (v) increase investment in agricultural research and policies, (vi) adoption of modern agricultural practices, and (vii) reduction and management of agricultural and food waste.

      Pages: 19 - 28
Abstract: The role of small enterprises in equitable and balanced development of nations is widely recognized. In the Indian scenario, MSMEs (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) have a vital role to play to bring about faster economic development devoid of divides like rural-urban, gender-based or the like. MSMEs are particularly relevant in a developing country like India as they can create large number of employment avenues and that too in a manner that is helpful to the poor and other marginalized segments of the society, including women. Taking the case of Kerala State in India, the paper suggests strategies for the sustained growth of MSMEs in the State considering its special features it being a State which has accorded top priority to ICT adoption.

  • A Short Discussion About E-learning

    • Free pre-print version: Loading...

      Authors: Gurjot Singh
      Pages: 27 - 31
Abstract: Improvement in E-learning activities supports the country for development. At present time all education systems are based on E-learning all over the world because of digitization and covid pandemic. Web-based learning, online learning, internet-based learning, distance learning, distance education, distributed learning, computer-mediated learning, computer-assisted learning, Virtual Learning, and Blended Learning are all terms used to describe E-learning. The current study's goal is to evaluate the efficiency of e-learning in smart education. The study's findings show that e-learning is more efficient in terms of time and money.it can be used for active learning, that it is faster, that it responds quickly, that it can be used outside of the classroom, and that the quality of e-learning is satisfactory, all of which indicate that e-learning is effective, for this active learning we have also introduce the concept of virtual mentor in our research paper which is very helpful in terms of interactivity, flexibility, and intelligence. Due to a lack of funds, infrastructure, and other resources, such as qualified and educated workers, it is becoming more difficult to maintain educational standards. But the rapid rise in technologies Learning supplied by Knowledge Technology (IT) offers high-quality learning to some extent by delivering relevant information at a convenient time, an appropriate location at an appropriate time. In this research paper, we know about E-learning completely, the effect of E-learning. If E-learning is planned properly then proper results will come. Due to a lack of funds, infrastructure, and other resources, such as qualified and educated workers, it is becoming more difficult to maintain educational standards. But the rapid rise in technologies Learning supplied by Knowledge Technology (IT) offers high-quality learning to some extent by delivering relevant information at a convenient time, an appropriate location at the appropriate time. We have also discussed the many advantages of e-learning and many e-learning platforms in India which are used by many users to gain knowledge. In this research, we talk about how E-learning changes the education system, the effect of E-learning on humans, challenges for E-learning, the need for E-learning, the future scope of E-learning. The major goal of this research is to assess the efficiency of the e-learning experience from the perspective of students.

Abstract: Modern methods in order to improve the effectiveness of the education will be discussed, including the advantages, disadvantages, and use of the virtual learning environment (VLE). Information technology transfigure the economic world structure. It also provides a new learning and development opportunities in which well-trained workforce is needed. In the existence of a VLE, it can be a radical change of the existing aspects of the learning and interaction between the teacher and the student’s relationship in a drastic way. In this article, we will look at the different ways of using technology that will help institutions, organizations and their teachers and staff members in a more supportive form than the traditional methods. The virtual learning environment is aimed to improve the efficiency of traditional education system. As a result, this new online learning environment and educational system will create new standard of learning.
