  • Characteristics of the Muslim preacher in the light of Tafseer Tafheem Ul
Quran by Abu ala al Mawdudi

    • Authors: Muhmmad Hammad; Dr.Tahir Saddique
Abstract: The morality and good traits that enable the Muslim preacher to win over and influence the invitees are without a doubt the most significant aspects of the dawah process that the Muslim preacher should focus on. and since many good qualities cannot be confined to these short papers, the researcher will try to point of these characteristics. Which is Muslim speaker attempts to establish and conform with, so that it becomes a temper and imposes itself on him, and which Muslim academics have been eager to emphasis in their writings and writing because of its importance. Scholars have divided it into sections based on a variety of factors. It was split into intellectual traits by some of them. Intelligence, tact, insight, and great energy, as well as moral virtues like modesty and dreams, religious attributes like sincerity and piety, and psychological traits like humility, fairness, and chastity. Syed al Mawdudi in Tafseer Tafheem Ul Quran contains many characteristics related to the Dawa that need to be explored, researched, and extracted from the midst of this valuable book, or by deducing them from the verses and hadiths contained in the chapters of the Tafseer Tafheem Ul Quran, or from Syed al Mawdudi' (may god have mercy on him) which show his broad knowledge and awareness, as well as the fact that he is one of the most important scholars who serves as an example for preachers and reformers, and it is worth noting that these qualities are not limited to this small study, except that the researcher will highlight the most important qualities that the dawah should possess and create.

  • The movements of stars in the light of Quranic Study

    • Authors: Sohail ; Dr. Ikram Ul Haq, Muhammad Hammad
Abstract: Almost everyone frequently has questions regarding how the world came into being, the stages of the earth's genesis, the emergence of light and darkness, and the existence of both living and non-living things. In other words, considering the many facets of Nature is a fundamental feature of human nature. The theological review will be provided here with consideration for the human need to learn about nature. We have talked about these characteristics of the universe from both a religious and scientific standpoint. The focus of the current article is on the details of the universe's creation, the way it works, and the origin of life that are detailed in the Holy Quran and the Bible. Furthermore, a comparison of the religious claims with scientific explanations, such as the Big Bang and other related occurrences, has been offered. Therefore, it is obvious that none of the modern studies and discoveries can be taken to be the actual goal of the Qur'an, as modern scholars have stated. Similarly, contrary to what some conservative scholars have said, these discoveries do not violate the Holy Qur'an. The truth is that the Qur'an is quiet on these topics and does not address them. If a fact is established via trials or observations, it cannot be seen as in conflict with the Qur'an, and it should not be attempted to impose unproven realities on the Qur'an through imaginative interpretations.

  • Scholarly and social services of Fatima Mernissi

    • Authors: Bushra Bibi; Dr. Junaid Akbar, Dr. Hayat Khan
Abstract: The services rendered by the women in social and scientific development are undeniable. Women were equally involved in all walks of life. Throughout our history one of these women is Fatima Mernissi, who has served as a sociologist and feminist. The article under review has introduced Fatima Mernissi and her scholarly and social services, as well as the books written by Fatima Mernissi and the other translations of her books. The method for writing the article has introduced Fatima Mernissi and her family first and then Fatima's academic and social services. The purpose of writing this article is to make Fatima Mernissi familiar in the West for which she was awarded various awards. The research revealed that Fatima Mernissi not only raised her voice for women’s rights in various forums but also wrote nineteen books in which she spoke in one way or another about women’s independence and freedom. It also became clear that Fatima Mernissi was a supporter of ideologies that were against Islam. Just as she was convinced that veiling is not a rule in Islam, she also declared polygamy illegal.

  • Legal Rules of expenditures from the book ‘Fath al Bari’ by ‘Ibn e
Hajar’ and their applications From the Chapter of Nafaqat (maintenance
of wife and children) (Theoretical and applied study)

    • Authors: Abdul Qayyum Khan; Hafiz Muhammad Anwar, Fazale Maula
Abstract: This is the duty of every Muslim to abide by the provisions of Shariah in all matters of their life as is stated and encouraged by Allah Almighty in the Holy Quran. The provisions relating to building the Muslim household from primary stages, begin from provisions about marriage and follow-up, and intensified the importance, especially in a time when sedition and tribulation is prevailed, and have increased the family issues, differences and hatred have been developed between couples, then people needed to the legitimate (Shariah) provisions in which they can found salvation from these complications. The key purpose of this research paper is to perceive clear position of Pakistani Law about maintenance of wife and children according to Muslim Family Law. The article is more worthy and helpful for law professionals in general, and especially for legislative body in making and amending the rules. The question of research for this paper is that what is the method that Ibn Hajar adopted during talking about various issues of Family Law, and how much is the significance of these Legal Rules in this field, and how is possible the application of these Legal Rules on Pakistani law. This is the study of concepts and ideas so I opted theoretical and applied way of research for this purpose. Such as in Pakistan, Muslim personal law has not yet been published, I will write summary of the decisions and judgments of courts in different case laws in my own words with composing the references below. Consequently this research work would be beneficial to all those who are relate to legal system, i.e. legislative body and judiciary, as it will substantiate a ray of light in future for legislation on maintenance of wife and children. The special aspect of my research is the application and comparison of the legal maxims and rules taken from ‘Fath ul Bari’ by ‘ibn e Hajar’ with Pakistani Law as per Sharia perspective.

  • “Imam al-Aini’s concern to the Exegetical Sayings through Umdat
           al-Qari, Explanation of Sahih al-Bukhari” “Surat al-Nisaa”

    • Authors: Syeda Uzma; Syeda Israa
Abstract: This entire article revolves around the exegetical narrations in Surat An-Nisa through Umdat Al-Qari, and I mentioned the method of Allama Aini, may God have mercy on him, and I quoted from his book to set an example in every field of interpretation, where as in some places I just copied the relevant example part instead of whole narration. As I divided my research into three sections (and each section had four to six headings); The first is about the narration of the explanatory sayings in Umdat al-Qari, the second is on its exegetical sources, and the third is about the most important investigations that Allama al-Aini, may God have mercy on him, was exposed to in the transmission of explanatory sayings in his book. Al-Ayni is that he deals in his book with linguistic and grammatical research, and research related to the sciences of the Qur’an and the principles of interpretation, including the reason for revelation, the arbitrator, and the abrogation. And the readings, as well as mentioning the difference in the chain of narration, the text and the narrator’s chain, as well as during the research in the interpretation of the verses. He deals with (Prophetic hadiths), the sayings of the Companions, and sayings of the successors and their successors, also the sayings of scholars who are considered interpreters. This research resulted that God has endowed him with knowledge like a sea that does not fill the searcher of pearls. Then ended with a conclusion in which I mentioned the most important results and some recommendations and suggestions.

  • Unity of the Ummah - Obstacles and Solutions

    • Authors: Ali Imran; Muhammad Shabbir, Abdul Aziz, Muhammad Ahmad
Abstract: To bring about the unity and creations within Muslim Ummah, Quran and Sunnah are the only two ways to be followed as Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) started his prophetic mission via them, and subsequently, scattered tribes embroidered with silk of guidance, like a bright jewel in the ring. First, to shut the door of sectarianism, all the mosques and religious institutes must be governed by the Auqaf department in order to accumulate erudite people. Non-serious individuals usually fan the sectarian fire in random mosques and irregular institutes. Second, "The Council of Islamic Ideology" must be established on the international level in order to accumulate different Islamic schools of thought in which they ought to research and compose Islamic postulates rather than subsidiaries. In addition, they have to be responsible for advertising and implementing it as well. Third, political movements must be run under the auspices of Islam so that all parties can be on the same page regarding religious issues. But the right to gain support for their political manifestos. They deserve it only in the field of welfare. Fourth, to preserve the rights of all Muslims, an "International Council of Islamic Politics" must exist. Fifth, an "International Islamic Military" must be formed in the pattern of western NATO forces, who should work under the authority of the "International Council of Islamic Politics". These aforementioned five points can create real unity within the Muslim Ummah.

  • Minor Portents of the Day of Judgement from Tafseer ibn Abi hatim

    • Authors: Sajida Muhammad Qurishi
Abstract: To be a true believer in Islam, it is of significant importance to believe in the Day of Judgment. The concept of the Day of Judgment is the fundamental segment of a true believer. This research mainly focuses on a comparative analysis of minor signs of the hour. The study investigates this concept in the light of the Holy Qur’an, Ahadith of the Prophet (P.B.U.H), and the sayings of the Companions. The study then compares all these findings with the beliefs of philosophers, mystics, and theologians. Moreover, the study explores the beliefs of philosophers, mystics, and some theological sects, such as the Shiites, the Mu'tazila, and the Sunnis in their beliefs towards the minor signs of the hour. Therefore, the diverse nature of this comparative research makes the contribution more significant in the field of the Islamic faith. It has become clear through this research that the unseen is not known by empirical science, but rather its sources are the Holy Qur’an and Ahadith. The study validates that the interpretations of the companions of Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) are most authentic and reliable, as these interpretations of beliefs have been directly extracted and practiced according to the true guidance of the Holy Qur’an, and Ahadith. The study also substantiates that the philosophers, mystics, theologians and other religious scholars of various sects adopted different methods and approaches to comprehend the concept of signs of the hour and the Day of Judgment, so, the authenticity of their beliefs is considered less credible. Finally, the research suggests to follow and practice the most authentic sources, i.e., Holy Qur'an, Ahadith, and sayings of Companions of Prophet (P.B.U.H).

           کے حقوق: ایک تجزیاتی مطالعہ

    • Authors: Dr. Burhan uddin; Arsala Khan, Muhammad Ayaz
Abstract: Background/ Introduction:The Rights that Islam has given to children, cannot be extended to the west   and   Europe. For every stage of   life, from pregnancy to death, the universal principles of   human nature are given. As soon as he born, he is commanded to provide the best food, to have a good name and to celebrate it. From the beginning, he is commanded to train well. The rights enshrined in the Universal Declaration of the rights of the child are superficial and inadequate. And most of the emphasis in the convention is on the freedom, which creates an environment of wandering. Conclusion:   According to Islamic Teachings, every child is born with the nature of Islam, and after birth his environment makes him a Jew or a Christian or a magian. The Islamic way of life and education is very different from the way of Europe and the west. Here in Islamic Teachings the child can be allowed to be reprimanded if necessary, while there in West, the child is left unchecked. This article outlines the limitations of children’s rights in the light of Islamic teachings and CRC (Convention on the Rights of Children) along with the characteristics of Islamic teachings.

  • Reflection of Islamic Beliefs and Worships in Siraiki Folk Tales

    • Authors: Riaz Hussain Khan Sindher; Prof. Dr. Jawed Hassaan Chandio
Abstract: Siraiki language has more then one thousand years old written literary heritage. This is rich in creative literature. Every type of old and modern specie is present in this. Siraiki language has the treasure of knowledge in creative and folk literature which encompasses centuries. This treasure of knowledge is transferred from person to person through oral tradition, from one generation to other generation. Folk stories are part of folk tradition. Folk stories told in any language, present not only nations’ life style, but also indicates the traditions of the nations. Siraiki folk stories also reflect the life style, religious interests, beliefs, superstition and rituals of its speakers. Despite being part of the oral tradition, their chests are full of material that we are forced to protect. These folks are very close to life, and the lessons of wisdom are taught by actions not by words. Siraiki society is the oldest human society of this region. Every society gives the importance to its ideology and believes. Folk stories are the part of oral traditions, in these stories there is a clear expression of the beliefs of ancient time. However, majority of this society is Muslim right now. Islam has five basic pillars, no one can become a Muslim without believing in them. In case of being Muslim, it is obligatory to fulfill these duties. The first pillar is “Shahada” which is to testify of that there is no God except Allah, and Muhammad (PBUH) is the last Prophet of Allah, the second is to be perpetual to Salah, third to pay Zakat, fourth is to keep Fasting during month of Ramzan and fifth is to go for the Hajj in case of having sufficient money. In this the first one is belief whereas other are the worships (Ibadah). This essay is not about Siraiki folk stories but about the implementation of its Islamic believes. In these stories we have to see how they have the faith on these believes, and what they do to fulfill other four duties.

  • A critical study of “Muhammad and his Power” by “P De
           Lacy Johnstone”

    • Authors: Israr Ullah; Engineer Ilyas Salih, Yaseen Salih
Abstract: The objective of this article is to draw the general public's notice to P De Lacy Johnstone’s book "Muhammad and His Power." He addressed a number of criticisms leveled towards Muhammad (PBUH). A specific school of thought is preaching this enmity toward Islam under the misleading appearance of hypocrisy, alluding to the well-being and benefit of the people. They are executing their annoying work in a cryptic, covert, and crafty manner, since they are mistaken by the public for educated and modern religious experts with the expertise and solutions to the age's issues. This article analyses Johnstone’s (1901) allegations against the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). The focus is to answer main three allegations he has put on the Holy Prophet (PBUH) from the perspective of the Holy Quran and Sunnah. In these allegations, Johnston states that during the first ten years the Prophet Muhammad did not oppose “Kufar and Shirk”; an indication of likeness towards evil. Secondly, the Prophet married Hazrat Khadija (RA) without the consent of her father. Thirdly, he (PBUH) is not the founder of Islam rather it is a distorted form of Christianity and Judaism. These allegations have been concocted mere on heresy or citing inauthentic sources. This article refutes these allegations using authentic sources of the time and also excerpts from the Holy Quran and the Sunnah. This awful tumult could not penetrate the brains of ordinary people because they are unaware of Muhammd's Seera. It is thanks to the savants of Islam's ceaseless and unrelenting battles and strives that this horrible tumult could not reach the minds of ordinary people. The qualitative analysis of anti-Islamic actions is done using the subject-focused research approach.

  • Post-Islamic Revolution Constitutional Complexity for Functioning of
Bureaucracy in the Islamic Republic of Iran

    • Authors: Syed Raheem Abbas Shah; Dr. Mussawar Hussain Bukhari
Abstract: Iranian Constitution combines both concepts; theocracy and democracy where theocracy has been applied in the form of Khumeni’s model of vilayat-e-faqih (Guardianship of the Islamic Jurist) as defined in the preamble of constitution whereas; presidential system has been mounted as per the democratic standards. However, complexity exhibits when usage of bureaucratic authority becomes a question mark in between the directions issued by the government or vilayat-e-faqih. As Iran is a unitary state where centralized political system exists, bureaucracy should follow the directions of democratic government as per the universal standards of democracy. However, 8th section (from article 107 to article 112) of the Iranian constitution overlaps not only entire political setup of Iran by the strict  jurisdiction of vilayat-e-faqih (also called Supreme Leader) but this section also projects the dogmatically authoritarian nature of Iranian political culture. Similarly, article 150 of Iranian constitution delivers mandate to Revolutionary Guards for not only observing governmental directions / orders to the bureaucracy but they also have an authority to mold bureaucratic functioning as per the directions given by the Supreme leader. Therefore, core idea of this study is to comprehensively define such constitutional complexity for functioning of bureaucracy in Iran. In addition with, this study also tries to investigate the pros and cons of 8th section and article 150 in the Iranian political system whereas; threats to the unitary state system of Iran because of such complexity are being examined in the last.

  • Human Milk Banks and the Rules for Milk Siblings (Raḍā’)

    • Authors: Dr.Samia Maqbool Niazi; Mudasra Sabreen
Abstract: Human milk is an excellent diet for newborns because it supplies important nourishment while protecting them from sickness. A milk tie, or milk kinship, is formed when milk from a woman other than the child's mother is consumed. It is more important among the Muslim population due to religious beliefs and the concept of Marriage Prohibition. Children who get the milk of the same mom are therefore tied by milk as milk siblings, with the same barriers to marriage as if they were linked by birth. Since milk bank practice in Western nations contradicts Islamic doctrine of milk kinship, there is a possibility of overlapping progeny. As a result, current Muslim scholars debate the propriety of unlabeled donation and acceptance of human milk through milk banks. On the other hand, there is a significant need for mothers' milk in hospitals for neonates, particularly premature babies; the following study suggests a way to prepare a proper model of "milk banks" that is in accordance with Islamic law (Shariah) and, at the same time, to avoid more progeny problems.

This also owns and accepts those man-made norms that assist humanity's cause while avoiding its fundamentals. Adherence to Pakistani traffic rules falls under the same doctrine's umbrella. It is important to highlight that the same traffic laws, such as seatbelt fastening, proper use of indicators, speed management, and so on, have been devised to ensure the safety of everyone, from pedestrians to riders of all vehicle classes. Any infringement of traffic laws is an indirect breach of Allah the Almighty's divine discipline. If there is any harm, injury, or death because of the infringement, it will be dealt with according to Islam's teachings. This study intends to emphasis the importance of following traffic laws, which is directly related to ground safety. Ultimately, this serves the primary goal of saving any valuable human life.            Feminism

    • Authors: Nadia Noreen; Tabinda Rani, Kokab Saeed
Abstract: Dr Illama Muhammad Iqbal being a Sufi and national poet wrote about various ideologies, characteristics and human rights particularly focusing women rights. As a major part of his research and poetry is based on Islamic philosophy and seems inspired by different Sufis like Mansoor, Room I etc. His novel work of deriving analogies keeping in view the Islamic concepts and traditions unlike orthodox view. He was of the opinion that Islam is a universal and long-lasting religion so must fulfil current needs etc. To comply the existing requirements. While narrating the female/women rights he emphasized upon women rights much more than discussed ever before his era. As the condition of women in that age was pathetic, suppressed, subjugated and deprived. Those who favoured feminist movement criticised Islam as discriminatory religion showing partiality towards females. In such environment Iqbal depicted the clear picture of Islam and highlighted role, importance and rights of woman in Islam. Particularly in Zarb-i-kaleem, Javed Nama and Ramooz-i-bekhudi he focused such issues. He critically analysed the western concept and considered it in vogue. He never denied rights of females but demarcated her rights from that of males in Islamic perspective. This work is an endeavour to discuss rights and role of a Muslim women as per Iqbal's philosophy who was also in favour of liberty and equality but in prescribed parameters.
